AARGAU
ARCENEAU TRADE COMPANY
[member="Pella Vun"]

It wasn't the first time that Arceneau Trade had made itself a name on Aargau. The massive Trade Conglomorate had a headquarters and several warehouses on privately owned space ports. However, the present situation at hand was to expand the headquarters and perhaps make a deal with local Incom.

[member="Pella Vun"] was to visit Arceaneau Trade Headquarters today. They had already done business before in the offering of space at the Foundry. Perhaps they would be interested in expanding into contracts with Mara Tibx? Or even Browncoat. The newest Quintessence Reactor produced by Arceneau Trade was in the midst of being refined into a smaller, more compact reactor. They were also pushing forward to use Isotope-5 from their mines on Makeb to promote an even higher energy outpost for over a longer period of time.

It was something to consider that perhaps the avid shipwright would be interested in.

"My Lady, more signal fires have been lit in the valley. It would seem a larger force of Flesh Raiders is gathering. Forwards scouts have spotted a specimen roughly twice the size of the others, black-skinned."

Taeli looked up as the report from one of her Wights came in. How interesting, she would have thought after losing their previous war band of twenty, the beings she was studying would stop their attacks. Clearly, they could be even more aggressive than she had thought. But then, considering the evidence of modifications they had gone through and the natural evolution of the species from that point, the Flesh Raiders were likely one of the most blood-thirsty and easily angered species in the galaxy.

"I want that specimen captured and taken to Horizon," she ordered.

"Understood."

Taeli went back to what she was looking over now, a simple blood test. She was curious how some of the midi-chlorians were active, but most were either dead or rendered inert. That was extremely curious to her, because it implied that something had robbed the species of its ability to wield the Force... and it was not the result of any deliberate genetic modifications as she could see... lost connection... why did that sound familiar to her?

They were out there. The slithering annoyances that were abominations to the Goddess. With a sneer, the Chosen of Vahl gave a turn of her heel. Handmaidens on either side perfectly synchronized along side her, walking behind her with lowered cowls and an eerie precise movement.

"Call the Hounds." she said with a spat, the dark armor of the woman swaying straps along her long legs. "Deploy the forces. If they so want to take the temple, then they will have to fight."

Cries of the Vahla Hounds would erupt in turn, echoing across the valley. There was such a dark force presence here. It almost clung to the soul, a dark, writhing tar that would feel as if reaching out to tempt and corrupt all who would enter the valley.

Those who vacillated within the line of light and dark would find themselves plagued with the polyphonic whispers of doubt, fear, and anger. That was what the Chosen of Vahl intended from within her fiery tower.

To corrupt them all.

Tython
The Jedi Academy Ruins

It had been a while since Rhen had stepped foot on Tython. Stepping out of the ship and into the wilds of the jungle, the Corellian Green Jedi took in a deep breath. He could feel the change that it seared through a portion of the planet. It was like the sickening, raw wound of a gangrenous limb. Pulsing and throbbing with an ache and corruption of the Dark side. Yet, if he closed his eyes, if he focused -- he could still feel the presence of the Lightside there.

It had not died. Tython was too saturated with history with the Dark and Lightside of the Force. This struggle was tipped due to the manipulations and corruption of the Ember of Vahl. However, where there was hope, there was light. There was the Force.

Bringing back the balance would be a process, but one that Rhen was adamant at doing his best at. Where that began was at the ruins of the Jedi Temple of old. Of where Grandmaster Teferi's remains had been put to rest.

Where the dawn of the Jedi Order as they all knew it had begun after the 400 years of Darkness.

Here, he would start.

The first thing Pella had learned about Aagau was that it was remarkably difficult for a nautolan to pronounce. A little too throaty for her. Still, it wasn't the first place in the galaxy she'd been where species had slightly different names for a place to aid pronunciation.

Her silver transport vessel gracefully spiralled down towards the headquarters building. Some bright spark in marketing had the brilliant idea of sending executives in military ships to showcase their new lines.

Pella had given the inside of a U-Wing one look before dismissing the notion. Four hours in a seat made if harness mesh? She preferred to be able to walk at the other end of her flights.

"Lady Raaf... something is agitating the Flesh Raiders, beyond what they were just a few moments ago."

Taeli could feel it alright, a marked increase in the power of the dark side on the planet... a familiar presence. The Eye was still here it would seem, and the Chosen of Vahl was feeling incredibly hateful as the Alliance and Jedi moved onto the world. Interesting though, she was intrigued as to how the Flesh Raiders were being affected when the Eye's citadel was in another valley on the planet. Could they somehow, even if they couldn't command the Force, tap into the power of the dark side on this world?

"Orders, my Lady? The Flesh Raiders are about to begin advancing on your position."

"How many?"

"Roughly four times as many as last time. They could be dealt with, but we may take casualties if we use the same tactics."

Taeli thought about it for a moment.

"Hit and run, we don't need all those specimens. I want that black skinned one alive though."

"As you command."

Taeli went back to observing the blood sample again, thinking long and hard about what could have caused the midi-chlorians to be in the state they were. If it wasn't a deliberate modification, could it have been simply evolution... she immediately threw that theory out. On such a Force rich world, she highly doubted evolution would have made the midi-chlorians so inert. No, perhaps... she began scanning for any signs of leftover RNA and other telltale signs of viruses or bacteria.

Now that Arian Kanno has surrendered, the Justicar made its preparations to jump to Coruscant, where it would join the Legacy for repairs. However, that would mean that Cathul and her Nautolan prisoner would also have to be brought back inside the carrier so that they could fight the Rogue One Sith stragglers over Tython proper. After a while, the gangways were detached from the damaged enemy flagship, and the Nautolan lady was to be frozen in carbonite for future transfer to a prison. Also, all craft that could return to ship did so; the rest of Therapy Command was to resume fighting while its shields were recharged. Of course, the remaining units would be fought right in Tython's orbit and finish the job that was started. With the most terrifying enemy units already dealt with, the microjump could begin, not suspecting that there would be an enemy interdictor waiting for them at the other end of the jump, over Tython proper.

"All units, prepare to jump to hyperspace on my mark!"

The steady tattoo of the long limbed Zeltron would be the first thing that [member="Pella Vun"] would hear coming her way in the wake of Incom's ship engines humming to a halt. It was followed by the broad smile and the echoing, "Welcome to Aargau, Miz Vun."

In her signature pencil skirt and figure-hugging blouse - top three buttons open to display that marvelous decollete - the Arceneau Conglomerate Representative crossed the distance with an outstretched hand over to the Nautolan.

"I do hope your trip went well." she inquired, coming to a stop so she could shake the woman's hand. If the woman would so be prompted, Aeri would then make a sweeping gesture to have Pella follow Aeri inside of Arceneau Headquarters.

He dodged to the left, then barrel rolled to his right trying to dodge the TIE/LN fighter behind him while he tried to get the one in front of him. His targets seemed to be forever circling around the fighter until he heard the sound of a lock and he let rip with his fighters blasters punching through the fighter and flying through the destruction. He tried to lose the one behind me but it didn't seem to be working so well, he continued hid dodge tactics making sure he couldn't get shot at.

Finally he found a good spot and he pulled up and turned so he came behind the other fighter and heard the lock of the targetting system and he let lose and watched the explosion before turning off.

There were a group of bombers who were left unprotected due some massive turbolaser fire coming from the Alliance ship so he made his way towards them strafing the bombers in their formation going under them to avoid any confrontation with them. Taking out the TIE/SA bomber squadron he checked his sensors to go for another run at some more targets.

Over the rune etched nihilstones, the Chosen of Vahl headed deep into the Oracle's Tower. Step by step, she began to mount up the circular stairs that would take her to the very top. Thunder and lightning would flash and boom, scaling the sky with the shriek of Yuuzhan Vong flying creatures, the remnants of the One Sith Empire's pack with the Hrosha-Gul.

Handmaidens and Hounds alike along with the faithful of the Ember of Vahl bowed their heads down to her as she crossed the steps towards the upper chamber. A purpose was in her stride, her expression fixated for what was to come. All the while, the woman spread out with the tendrils of her mind.

They had no idea what they were dealing with. What mere presence they had felt back at the onset of the first invasion of Coruscant was but a mere shadow to the extent the Chosen of Vahl had been gifted by the Goddess since then.

Coming to a stop in front of a large, crimson pool bathing a massive kyber sphere, Darth Isolda brought herself to a kneeling position. In this she was a supplicant to the Goddess Vahl.

"Bring forth the the tributes."

- BATTLE MEDITATION ACTIVATED -

With Therapy Command arriving over Tython's orbit, and the fighters being whittled down under heavy fire, there wasn't a whole lot of firepower left; however, the Lothal and the Aleen found themselves with depleted shields once again due to the bombers being left unescorted as TIE fighters chased the fighters Therapy Command left in tow. Also, Cathul began meditating as if to attempt using battle meditation, knowing that her energy reserves may not be optimal. With that said, the two bomber groups targeted one Boneshatter apiece, firing proton rockets at their noses in concerted fashion thanks to the effects of battle meditation. Meanwhile, the carrier fired broadsides at the other two Boneshatters; they were taking heavy shield damage as a result, while the frigates came under fire in several directions, mowing down enemy unshielded fighters and bombers. And yet the enemy still held on for the time being; battle meditation took a while to act.

"We're caught into the enemy interdictors" the captain of the Aleen reported.

"The enemy messed up with our fire control: in a few minutes we should be fine" the captain of the Lothal added, explaining its inability to fire.

Pella’s pilot brought them down towards the pad smoothly. Even if the inertial dampeners had been off the nautolan executive doubted she would have felt a bump. He was one of the test pilots based out of their wing of the ACT station. They were all veterans who, for whatever reasons, had taken a step back from the war front. Often it was for family reasons. Incom had exacting requirements for any prospective pilots.

The engines ticked cool behind her as the familiar representative sauntered towards them. Pella’s sensitive nose found the Zeltron to be a complex cocktail of pheromones even when there was no conscious use of them.

“Miz Vyn,” she replied with a smile. Vun and Vyn. She wasn't dressed quite as formally. Where she was from suits were not common. Instead she wore a light blue dress that perhaps would have clashed with her skin to a human eye. Tied behind the neck it left her shoulders and arms free and floated around her legs as she walked. “This is Deeron Strell,” she said waving towards the human male with them. “One of our engineers in production.”

It was near. He could feel it. There was a sense of familiarity to the path, even if it had been over run by the jungle. A small party of Jedi Padawans and Knights acompanied Rhen -- as did a few of the rangers from the ExploriCorps.

"We will secure the perimeter and scout ahead, Knight Qel Droma." Aza, a lanky Duros Ranger informed the Corellian Jedi. He gave a nod. "Be careful. There are tales of the Flesheaters increasing activities. Master [member="Taeli Raaf"] might know more. Comm her if you need her."

"Of course."

Turning back northwards, Rhen took a breath. "This way." taking charge, he led the expedition towards what would be the remains of the old Jedi Temple. Karen Roberts and Flint Pherson had originally aided with the construction of a Jedi Temple. As did Grand Master Ben Watts and then the young Padawan Jaxton Ravos. How long it had been since those times.

"Stay wary," Rhen would murmur to his companions.

While her Wights and other Aurora security forces prepared for the coming attack, Taeli being kept informed of each creature either rendered deceased or incapcitated, she was focusing much more on what one of her scientists had discovered.

"You're sure about this?" she asked, looking at the raw data on the screen.

"Ninety-nine percent sure, my Lady," the researcher replied. "I ran the DNA through older databanks on Obroa-Skai, Coruscant, Arkania, even contacted some rogue Kaminoians in the Tion Hegemony. We got a positive match, with a 76.3% correlation, between baseline Rakata DNA and the Flesh Raiders. Obviously the modifications done to the Flesh Raiders make a complete match impossible, but apparently, some Rakata tried to join galactic society during the time of Revan and they had their vitals and DNA taken to make sure they didn't transmit any odd diseases from Lehon. The traces of RNA we found in the Flesh Raider sample was the final proof we needed, it matches the traces found within the Rakata of the virus that stripped them of the Force."

Taeli tapped her fingers on the desk, her level of interest spiking.

"The virus can't be replicated can it?" she asked, just wanting to make sure.

"Not from any samples we could gather in this day and age, you would need a Rakata sample that was preserved from the fall of their civilization."

Taeli nodded to herself as the researcher spoke.

"Start logging the specific modifications to the DNA, I want a more thorough analysis now that we know. Meanwhile, I want all of the medical files we have recorded thus far on our captured specimens transferred to the database at the NJO temple on Sullust."

"A pleasure," Aeri would respond, also reaching out to shake the hand of Deeron Strell. With a nod, the Zeltron led the small party back inside.

"Pardon the construction," she would say, glancing back with those lavender eyes at the Nautolan and her companion. "We are in the midst of expanding our headquarters here. " there was more to be said, but at least this was as much as the corporate giant was able to do.

The banking industry of the world was currently going through a rather unique set of dealings. Murmurs here and there. As Aurum Saacs Bank attempted to establish itself, there were certain .. strict codes that needed to be adhered to. Likely remnants from the time with the One Sith.

"I hear that your new product line has done well with the Mara Tibanna contract." She was not going to elaborate, as Asmus Janes had been rather particular about keeping it hush hush. But the fact that they sold Incom Tibx was not out of the ordinary.

Tython. Acient home of the Jedi. Shamira had read in her studies about the hundreds of years of jedi knowledge was lost when the Order was forced to leave the planet. It was a tragedy. But one could that could be fixed. And it looked like the Order was finally able to start reclaiming their planet and make it their own again.
Shamira was so thankful that she was being allowed to be part of this. She, along with a few other padawans, had been picked to go to Tython and begin the reclamation project. It was an honor, and she was going to make sure that made the most of it.
Even with the murky conditions, with a light rain falling, Shamira’s mood couldn’t be dampened. A wide smile crossed her face as made her way to the front of the group, beginning to fall in step with the tall, grizzled Jedi knight. “Thank you, master Droma, again. I’m really honored to be on this mission.”

Ben continued to fly around dodging larger firefights and sticking towards the outskirts, as he was late he was doing mostly straggler round up and taking off the ones who lost their group or is trying to flank. He continued to shoot down fighters and dodging as one got on his tail, he barrel rolled to the right and locked onto another target and shot them down before he pulled down and blew the fighter that had been on his tail.

He kept his eyes scanning along with an eye on the sensors as he flew around the large firefight above of Typhon. His fingers stayed close to the trigger as he continued to find stragglers and taking down some lone bomber groups. He continued the fight due and listened to the other squadrons talk to each other over the radio, he couldn't do much due that he was late so he got a fairly risky job due to the dog-fighting that is required for the job.

"A rather heavily expanded product line now," Pella replied. "In fact that's why we're here. The variety of U-Wings that we've provided have seen far more demand than we anticipated. Excellent at defending shipping lanes and cargo convoys too." Well it was worth a plug just in case ACT was buying. Such a large potential market was worth a little poke.

"We think there is room for some larger gunships through into small corvettes. However this is ground we haven't produced in for some time. For the largest end of the scale we're working on we'll likely have to move from fuel to a full micro-reactor."

She gave a small pause before adding the obvious hook to their meeting. "We think we're short on both components and expertise."

A small commotion behind the party prompted the Corellian Green Jedi to swivel his head. From under the bright green cowl, a shaggy peppered gray and white beard and kind green eyes caught sight of a young, dark-skinned Togruta. A padawan perhaps? She was unfamiliar to Rhen, having met a few from the Academy on Sullust recently during his Force Imbuement classes.

Pausing, he awaited for her to come near until she came to a stop. Once she caught up, he took a step forward, leading the excavation team.

"I believe we have not yet met, young one." Rhen would state, giving an incline of his head to say, "Ol'val," a standard greeting of hello in Old Corellian.

"I am Knight Qel-Droma, although I've yet a padawan to have me called a Master." He said with mild amusement, as much as he could spare while they were hiking towards their destination. There were still risks involved. Lingering Yuuzhang Vong creatures and Flesh Raiders, no doubt.

When she got close enough to see the face of the corellian, she realized they had indeed not met yet. Biting her lip in slight embarrassment, she responded in a customary, “Su cuy'gar,” in mando’a, flashing her bright smile once more.
“I’m padawan Shamira Kaurto. I apologize. I must have confused you with someone else.” Shrugging lightly, her movement muffled by the light cloak adorning her shoulders, the padawan fell in step with the older knight.
Striking blue eyes began to scan the landscape, examining the fallen statues and old ruins covered in moss and other grasses. “This place hasn’t been inhabited by Jedi for a long time..has it?” She questioned, looking up at the Knight.
