Akure Executive Leatherworks

Aedan Miles leaned back staring at the artifact he had before he quickly moved it to the side and accessed his computer. To Rave Merrill
Rave this is Aedan Miles I happen to be in a bit of a jam with a certain Item I have. This item is a belt known as the Belt of Bodo Baas. I want to get it off my hands before the Jedi find out I have their precious belt I was wondering what you could offer me for it?
He looked the message over and then encrypted it with high level encryptions sending the message to Rave Merrill knowing that she could get it and hopefully take the belt of his hands.

I believe I can help, Mister Miles. If the Jedi catch up with you, feel free to tell them that the belt is with me. Let me make you an offer to compensate you for your time and troubles. In fact, let me make you several offers -- please choose whatever works best for you. If none of them suit you, please name your needs.

Sincerely, Rave Merrill

  • Offer A: 1 Kandosii-type dreadnought
  • Offer B: 1 Kerrigan Coat (class-10 leather jacket, fear aura that can be turned on or off) plus 1 Cater Coat (leather trenchcoat which resists Force powers) plus 1 Dauntless (lightsabre-resistant sword with your choice of flame or cold enchantment) plus 1 Ring of Aza'zoth (allows you to see in the dark)
  • Offer C: 1 Neta'norac cloaked starfighter
  • Offer D: 10 million credits

Aedan was snacking on something when her reply came opening it absently he almost choked on his food as he stared at the assortment of items she had listed one of them in particular catching his eyes he calmly replied to her.
To Rave Merrill
Offer A seems more then acceptable also I was wondering if I could ask you for assistance with another matter I am attempting to create a personal weapon. A lightsaber pike I have Echani Graphite but there is still the issue of Cortosis I was wondering if you could send me instructions on how to create a weapon that is immune to the effects of this annoying metal. I will happily reimburse you for this as I much as I am capable of doing.

Mister Miles,

Deal accepted - one Kandosii-type dreadnought for the Belt of Bodo Baas.

The knowledge you seek is dangerous and precious to me, but I have it. I'll send along a copy of my notes on constructing a cortosis-immune lightsabre. The process of creating a lightsabre activation loop without dimetris circuits is difficult and time-consuming, not to mention very expensive, but you should be able to manage it if you put in enough effort.

In return, the next time you find yourself in possession of a Force artifact, a holocron, or anything of that kind, I expect to continue to be your first call. Is that acceptable?

Rave

Aedan chuckles and leans back after entering a short reply.

Seeing as how you always are a good person to deal with sense you don't try to kill me and take the items I will be happy to do business with you in the future Rave Merrill.

Dear [member="Rave Merrill"]

My master seems to think you're the only one with the resources(aside from himself of course) to run this sort of company so I decided to contact you directly as it benefits me to be discreet. My name is unimportant, as I am not yet a galactic entity to be feared or a business mogul that claims a single digit claim in the galactic. I do not have credits, the hides of Terentateks, or Leviathans, or a great many things that would be valuable in a traditional corporate environment. What I do have is what my Master gave me, or rather, what he made me. You see I am not a natural creature, something born of the Force's will, but instead I am the creation of the one man who might be considered your superior, not to mention the only sentient he has created (at least to my knowledge). I have intelligence beyond that of a normal man, I can feel the emotions of others, even feed off their fears but I am not invincible. I cannot absorb blasterfire or stop a lightsaber with my skin as many other of my master's creations can. For this reason I would like to propose a deal. I will give you a vial of my blood, corrupted and altered as it was made, in return for one custom-sized Lotek'k Jacket(allowances must be made for my irregular figure). If that is not sufficient I understand as the Jacket is a high-priced and limited quantity item, but all I have to offer is myself, and as such our business will likely be concluded.

Awaiting your response,

Nyarl

Upon receiving [member="Rave Merrill"]'s message Nyarl strapped up and gave some blood. Oddly enough it looked like more of an inky substance than real blood, but it was was coursed through his veins nonetheless. After making sure the vial was sufficiently cooled he put it in a box along with a sheet of paper detailing the measurements of his torso and wings, allowing the leatherworkers to know to put a couple of holes in the back so his wings could breath a little, as well as specifying a drop-off location and time range he'd be there. Once that was done he mailed the box, contents and all to AEL's capital building in Laekia. Upon it were three lines.

For The Boss

He trusted it would end in the right hands. Or, if it didn't, someone would be suffering well enough to make a good story later.

Now, Deagan wasn't one to have a whole lotta credits on hand for the fancy things like this particular gunbelt. But for some reason it had Skye all kinds of excited.

And being a man of pride, he wasn't going to try and piggy back on Patches' money and goods.

So, he instead sent in his own private encrypted request -- or more like a barter. In it, he would state he would be more than willing to slave himself over for enough jobs for whatever AEL would so require in order to work the worth of that particular belt.

It may not be accepted, but hell, taking down the beast who's skin he now wore as a jacket might do something for him.

[member="Skye Mertaal"] - Transaction approved.
[member="Deagan Hunt"] - For you, we'd be pleased to make an exception. What AEL needs most right now is a young terentatek. We recommend Kashyyyk. Bring us a young terentatek, alive, and we'll supply you with a full set of Baas Gunbelts up front -- a waist model and two shoulder harnesses.

From one gun aficionado to another, Danger was more than willing to shell out the credits for one of these belts.

It may even go well with her corset. Enter wink.

So she put in a request for one regular belt plus a shoulder holster.

One may wonder where Layla de Barbarac would have the credits to purchase the following goods. A credit check and a bit of digging would reveal her to be known as a holocron crafter and verifier; some random expert in the field.

Hired on by the Protectorate as a contractor from time to time, as well as other far more seedier personnel. An advance for the work done for the new Library of the Protectorate would see her able to cover the following goods.

After all, one can't put a low price on detailed perfection.

1x Taozin Amulet
1x AEL/Mohc Extractives 'Dauntless' Combat Blade
1x TerentAttack Cuffs
1x Leviathan Bracers
1x one slinky black dress made from Glistaweb

For a total of $390,500 credits.
