The violence was glorious, there were times when it was the only thing in the galaxy he could count on. There were few people inside of the post, but they were all dangerous, he could feel the force being used by at least one of them. He saw the pirate closest to the door drop as he hit an invisible barrier. He wanted to meet the enemy, but these tricks would slow him down. Pirates were crowding around the listening post, some were headed around to ensure that no one would escape unnoticed. Kuryr stomped forward, pushing pirates out of the way as he did, until he was at the front of the growing pack by the door. He moved forward a bit, pistol in one hand, sword in the other. He toppled on the electric current and grinned, whoever was inside of the small building was in for one hell of a surprise.

" Open up little pigs, it's time to blow your house down." He stepped forward and slammed his fist against the wall. He pushed out with the force, letting everyone inside know that there was something dangerous outside, not just some rabble of pirates. " Get the blaster cannons out of the ship, if they don't want to come out, We'll invite ourselves in."

The building seemed solid as they approached it, with no obvious openings in sight that they could enter through. Looking at it for a while, Mard concluded that the building must not be meant to be entered from the outside, seeing as it was also connected to a larger complex further on. Mard was prepared to move on to find another way of entering the place, when he noticed the priest, standing there, in apparent communion with the building. He was touching the wall of the place, as if soothing it with his touch. Mesmerized by the view, Mard just stood there for a second, a look of sceptical wonder on his face - then the wall opened up, sliding apart where the priest touched it, and Mard was left dumbfounded. Not for very long, though.

As the Anzat stepped inside, Mard quickly followed, directly on his heels, almost touching the other, hoping to get through without the building closing in on him while he was entering. It did not. Though something else surprised him. While the floor on the inside was a shiny, almost mirror-like milky white, the walls were not. They were covered in a sickly greyish-pink goo, slightly foaming at some points, and bulging into egglike oval protrusions. Scanning the room, Mard also noticed what seemed like a door at the other end. Otherwise, it was empty.

Mard moved through the room to the opposite side, looking for a way to progress further. Inspecting the door closely, he saw no obvious way to open it at first. Then he noticed something more immediately pertinent. The weird fleshy walls were moving.

Excellent work, apprentice, Perla thought in her head. Theseus did well on his first test. As he worked out the Force powers she assessed him the entire time, tracking along with his frustration and success. But the spellweaver was impressed and emboldened by the results. Now, to give him something even harder… and some verbal praise while she was at it.

“Passable work,” she said in an emotionless voice, careful not to praise him too much. She needed him to want to please her and lavishing compliments and flattery would not help this cause. Reneun needed to know that she was just on the edge of punishing him at any given time for his mistakes, even if she wasn’t.

The poacher who was left at the scene was flabbergasted that his comrade just walked right into the cougar trap, so he started to slowly inch around the perimeter. Another poacher came strolling along, a bit oblivious to what had just happened and it gave Perla an idea.

“Okay now Thesueus, use your mind to influence our new poacher there to kill the fellow who is wondering why his friend walked into the trap. Try that now,” she demanded.

Theseus blinked as he looked to her. Then nodded his head as he looked towards the two poachers. He was going to focus on doing his task. Mainly because Perla seemed to make it out as a demand, more then an instruction. This was a puzzle, as Theseus knew the last guy. He had only made the man take one step after another till it was too late to prevent that last step. It wasn't quite the same as completely altering a person's alliance. It was a moral battle. Trying to convince a man to pull the trigger on that of a person who they had worked with and probably formed a bond with. Then again did it have to be that direct? Perla said that Theseus had to make the man kill the person immediately, she didn't instruct him how he was to make the guy kill his ally. Maybe Theseus could turn this into something as easy as just having the guy take a few steps. There was actually many ways Theseus could do that.

Theseus finally found the manner in which he wanted to do it. As he took the memory he had of the man walking into the trap. Focused on the guy who Perla wanted killed. Then looked to the man who happened be walking up to the guy who was confused. Theseus then warped his own memory as he believed himself to have watched the poacher on the right, purposely push the man into the trap. Then made it appear as if though the guy was inspecting his kill, and was getting self gratification from it. Replaced the confusion with the expression of Joy and a sense of sadistic satisfaction from slaughtering his partner. Step one had been completed.

Step two was slightly easier as Theseus then focused on the approaching poacher. As he zoned into the man's conscious and from there went to where the man's memory lie. Theseus viewed how the guy interpreted and using his will power dictated to that guy, that particular memory had never existed. Instead Theseus implanted the lie Theseus had envisioned himself. Only putting it in the perspective of the approaching poacher. To trick the man into thinking his ally had gone mad with blood lust. After all what better motivation to kill a man you've known then to see them become blood thirsty, and knowing that your own life may be at stake. From that point it was step three and Theseus was going to literally test his limits. Because he wished not to manipulate one person at a given time. Though two at one given time point.

Theseus looked back to the confused man and this was surprisingly easy. The man was confused and that made his thoughts vulnerable. As Theseus forced the man to focus towards the approaching guy, and then warped the man's memory. To take what the guy had seen and adding false details to it. This Theseus found particularly difficult. Though he accomplished it only because the man was concerned and scared. He was given the remaining poacher what his mind was desperately seeking. A explanation for the reason his comrade had been killed.

The rest was simply two superstitious men doing what superstitious people do best. Be extremely paranoid as the poacher at the trap suddenly became hostile. After all this supposed new poacher had apparently killed his friend. So the poacher began to move in a angry manner towards the new coming poacher, to confront the man. As a result the other paranoid poacher drew out a blaster and placed a clip of ammo into the poacher before reloading and turning away to report back to camp, that he was forced to place down a blood thirsty killer.

As Theseus looked to Perla. All though there was several steps to Theseus' trick and though there was moments he wasn't sure he could pull it off. The whole conflict had occurred in only a matter of a few minutes after Perla had given the command. Which Theseus hoped to some degree he had pleased his master in his ingenuity of the trick, if not the time it took to execute the slightly more complex task. Theseus had turned fear into his greatest tool in that situation.

At eleven years old, most kids didn't hit for much.

Take vibroblades. Strap them onto brass knuckles. Then add Force Speed. The result was a preteen punch that sent blood flying in all directions, as flesh, sinew, and bone were sheared apart and severed with even a glancing blow. As gravity and momentum carried the young witch-boy through the motions, he swung a leg out as a counter-balance. Pivoting on the ball of the one foot on the ground, the youth spun so that the heel of his upraised leg smashed into the side of the Klatooinian's head.

Well, what was left of it anyway.

The corpse fell back against a stack of crates, joining the first body on the ground as the Pantoran heard the shouts of alarm resonate across the poacher's camp as the bodies hit the floor. Ducking low as blaster bolts, these more precise, picked over his position. Propelling himself forward, the youth neatly kicked up into the air, somersaulting up onto a stack of animal cages, and then vaulting off to the other side.

A Twi'lek with a vibroblade was charging from out of a skin and tanning booth. Meeting the charge head-on, the Pantoran went low and then snapped up with an uppercut. His opponent, not without some skill, ducked back before bringing the vibroblade to bear again. Blaster bolts sailed in all directions as the pair began an intricate, and deadly, danse macabre.

He'd have to remember to thank Perla. He hadn't had this much fun in weeks.

Perla enjoyed watching her apprentice’s dedication to his training. She sat back and observed how he accomplished the rather complex Mind Trick. Not that she knew the exact particulars as she was not in either man’s head, nor was she in Theseus’s. The spellweaver was watching purely with her own eyes. There was no need to muddy the experiment with her own wild and distinct Force signature in the mix.

“Very good,” she said in a low, contented voice. “You are going to be a formidable warrior someday.” Out of nowhere she pulled out her chain-sickle, a two-handed whip-like weapon with a scythe on the end of it.

Suddenly both of them would hear a loud alarm, which had been triggered by Boo Chiyo’s swift attack into the camp. She could sense the blue-skinned boy was close by.

“You and I are going to rush into the camp now,” she said, appearing eager to shed the poacher’s blood. “I don’t care how many there are. Boo is in there now so we won’t be alone. I want you to focus on Force Coercions in your attacks. I will be in front of you, so you can concentrate,” she said. “But if you lose your focus, remember its okay to fall back to a normal weapon.” With one hand, she grabbed the handle of the chain-sickle, and with the other she held the barbed coil. The sharp barbs cut deep into the palm of her hand, causing blood to drip down into the grass, but she twirled the coil into the air, the scythe whirling madly, to illustrate the ferocity of the weapon.

"I better get myself a weapon." Theseus replied to Perla as he watched the other poacher walking away. "What do you feel that distance is, approximately 130 meters?" Theseus asked himself out loud though still at a low tone. Without waiting for an answer Theseus waved his hands as he kinetically launched sharp rock towards the poacher. Lodging it in the spinal column of the man's neck. As Theseus noted that was a area where the armor didn't entirely protect him. The man suddenly twitched and collapsed over as Theseus reached down and acquired the man's blaster. Well at least the blaster pistol. After all Theseus had yet to craft himself a pair of lightsabers. He intended to tackle that project after this planet was conquered. Theseus grabbed some ammo and some grenades and chuckled to himself. Where Willpower failed Theseus he'd make sure he could overcome with with firepower. Though he doubted he'd have to go to those extremes. Theseus planned to divide and conquer. Knowing the more he used force coercions the more fluent Theseus would become at the technique. Which meant more minds under his command and influence at once. Which meant Theseus could in short build himself a select unit of poachers to fight the other poachers and work the battle through for him. When he was done Theseus would simply, well nicely put dislodge their spinal columns just enough to put them into an eternal slumber.

Theseus returned to Perla and nodded his head. "Whenever you're ready master, let's bring these low lives to their knees." Theseus said as he smiled. Theseus was clearly at the point he was starting to get the adrenaline rush of the thought of unleashing his anger to unleash carnage. Though Theseus was wise enough to remember this wasn't merely a slaughter fest. He'd have to be more cunning then athletic, and utilize will over brawn. In order to comply to his master's wishes and learn the techniques of dominating an opponents minds to bend them to your will. If not merely one person then a dozen of them. As Theseus could use the humor of watching allies turn against each other.

Objective: Pirate Elimination

She wasn’t getting much from the pirates. Really, she wasn’t giving them the chance, but that didn’t matter to her. They were pirates. Part of the lowest forms of people in the galaxy. Preying on the weak and hurting the ones who can hardly help themselves. What she did get out of them was enough. They were after some vaults. They were near the Rim, but Token didn’t study that much of galactic history. What could they be?

Vaults along the Rim. Maybe the Sanctum knew about them? Maybe the Prmeval knew? She shook her head and let the lightning crawl along the bodies. She was enjoying this, probably too much. But still, it felt good. The blonde bit her lip and worked to compose herself before leaving the room, the bodies left.

There were others of the Primeval here, and other witches. She could feel them. She could find them, but he wasn’t sure she wanted to. Token Waters was raging like a storm coming to shore. There was venom running through her veins and approaching people she respected? Probably not a good idea. She could control this squall, but she knew she was going to need to direct it. Call it intuition.

There were going to be more pirates.

Laying low until the timing was right. It was as if she wouldn't hunt, that would come later right now her prey was that of the fith that thought that hunt was for sport. No not at all it wasn't as creature was put here by the force and the gods. It was then that came clear what her own personal war to be on this planet. None would live she would skin them alive just like she did many creatures.

In her soft creature fur skin outfit she waited for the others for now she would keep these in the camp from running off. If anything she just hated to chase down her prey then again. Her own lips curved into a smirk then again it would make this of a challenge. Just maybe they could keep some alive then turn them loose and hunt them down like the beast they wanted to hunt.

It was the rustle in the bushes. That got her attention, what did did she have there. It seem that someone had to much rum to drink, decide that it would be best to come out to relive himself. Taking out a thin blade this would practice some of her skills as a warrior. Gathering up the force around waiting until he stop. Once she hurt the the sound of unzipped pants there she would be to strike quickly. It was after the all her nature when on this kind of hunt.

The battle would come later for now it would be in stealth that what she would keep it at until she saw the other enter camp. Until it would matter if a few went missing. There it was the blade quickly doing its job, as it came out her hand over his mouth not a sound. Laying him on the ground now he would be with the god of death. Taking some of the blood to put on her cheek each victim she would do the markings.

As Theseus used sharp rocks to make quick work of the poachers on the camp site perimeter, Perla moved inward a little, just to have a peek of what the interior of the site looked like, whether it was makeshift or more fortified. Luckily the camp was hurriedly constructed, mostly so the poachers could move in and out as quick as possible.

Sidestepping another animal pit, she waited until Theseus was close by her again to launch her own attack. She knew that Boo was somewhere in the vicinity, and the spellweaver now also felt the presence of another darksider enter the battle. Feeling bolder upon the prospect of reinforcements, using Force speed and the element of surprise, Perla advanced on a pair of poachers and flung her chain-sickle in their direction before they could pull their rifles out. The armor these poachers wore was relatively light and only protective against they large felines they were trying to capture and kill. Therefore, the scythe on her two-handed weapon beheaded one of the poacher’s and then stuck in the other one like an axe into a tree trunk.

Between the alarm sounding, the shouting of poachers and the destruction caused by her apprentice, it was difficult to detect any other noise, but in the distance she could hear the growl of animals. They were getting close to the cages.

"Oh!" he mouthed, a hint of surprise flashing across his sharp, angular features before he schooled them back into obedience. "I didn't see you there, good sir," the anzat recovered with a thin smile, offering a wiry hand in greeting even as he scrutinized the face of the man opposite with his twin rings of fire.

"Unfortunate that we didn't meet under better circumstances," he added as he resolved that the man was, indeed, an ally, and not a foe. If he had found the latter to be true, those bony fingers would've already sliced open his sizeable gut, but seeing as they were both still chatting amicably — if such could be said of two people like them — it was clear that the priest had no ill intentions towards the burly bear.

"Orkamaat," the smaller of the two finally concluded, almost as an afterthought, and then their introductions were cut short because of a rather mean-looking vongspawn that burst from a ripe eggsac that had been squirming against the writhing walls of the grashal just moments before.

Without a moment's hesitation, the anzat stepped to the side, dodging a nasty ball of something slimy that the creature expelled from its bowels, catching in the corner of his eye how the acidic ooze hissed ominously against organic doors behind him.

In a valiant effort to avoid a fate like that, Orkamaat sped up his pace even more, letting his twin natures bleed — yes, pun intended — into each other as he moved to flank the seething vongspawn even as it headed for his newest, if unlikely companion.

"Aaaaaaaggghh!!!!"

A roar of pain could be heard emanating from behind a door deep beneath the listening post. If one looked, they would need search for quite a time to find it. When found, they would open upon a scene of gorey blood splattered walls.

Strapped to a table lay a beaten and broken man. He missed his left hand, along his right thigh was a terrible gash that ran deep still oozing blood. He missed teeth, the fingers on his attached hand were all bent and broken at odd angles.

But there, in the opposite corner, hidden in shadows, was a man clad in a dark painted X-1 Inquisitor armor. His face was shown as the helmet was set aside on a nearby table. Across the features was a smile that would send shivers down ones spine.

He was enjoying this to much.

"Why..." The man questioned, his breathing ragged, "Why won't...you kill...me?"

Damien's smile stretched to a full fledged grin, "Because you will be useful for me. I plan to make you dangerous, and evil...besides. I'm sadistic, if I am to be honest with you."

I continued to walk in the forest with my crew of men. The Apprentice continuing to hack away as the leaves as though they were men. I shook my head. He would tire himself out too much. I could be an ass at times, but others I was quite considerate of the livelihood of those who lived. Talking to Shax through Telepathy, My voice would ring out in his head. "Swing too hard, and you will tire. Swing too soft, and you will never cut through."

His chopping stopped for a moment, and as the rest of the men moved ahead of him, he used the process of elimination to figure out how hard to chop. Simply by going from softer to harder until he could get a nice easy cut, without expending energy like he was earlier. He nodded his thanks to me as I walked by. Letting him rest a little now. My steps continued to beat down onto the path made by the men ahead of me at a steady pace. Never getting faster, nor slower in lapse. Hearing the hard breathing of the men who decided that the best course of action would be to follow orders. It was after one man yelled out a single word,

"Lord!"

Everyone stopped and turned to me. I walked up past them to look out into the brush to find the port. A wide open field where downed ships lay. It was likely on the other side that the second group was at. Meaning we would have to meet in the middle. I looked around. Knowing that if we had not been attacked yet, then it would soon happen when we were wide out in the open. Likely surrounded should they be a smart force. If they were just animals, and the Ampistaffs, then maybe they could take a few men out. Other than that, nothing much would happen. Deciding to lead the way. I clicked open my own Katana. It was ready to be drawn in a moments notice.

I was a user of Iaido. A form of swordplay that would require me to draw my sword, may a little of slashes or pierces as possible, then return the blade to the sheath. Hence why I kept my right hand onto the grip as I walked out from the forest, and into the open graveyard of Vong ships.

Shax walked up behind me. Holding his stained green sword, stained from the plant life that he had been cutting down, he nodded his head. Ready to continue.

Neither the Umbaran or Malvern seemed too concerned about the massive influx of pirates. Setzi stood and took her lightsaber off of her belt but didn’t ignite it. She checked the console view screens which showed all of the various vantage points around the facility. There was one pocket of resistance to the west of the listening post which appeared to have a sizable contingent of infiltrators, but not so many that the padawan, who was growing stronger each day with, not only her saber skills but her use of the Force, felt she couldn’t take them on.

She followed Khal’s guards out the back entrance where they would be undisturbed for the most part and made her way west. Setzi ignited her blue lightsaber and went to join the guards in the small skirmish. What she wasn’t aware of was that this location was very close to the giant Taung pirate leader, who she was unable to detect on the view screen.

Now that things were more or less settled, Anja had nothing left with the listening post; the occupation force however had yet to arrive. The sudden arrival of pirate reinforcements was unexpected, usually criminals were hardly organized and short on numbers. Let alone few were bold enough to retake what was lost.

"We're done here," Anja walked away from the room.

Ahead of the Host Lord, her personal guard who was wearing the same armour was the ones offered to Khal had taken up a forward position. Taking the pirates by surprise, he opened fire from their right flank and quickly dropped several of the dozen or so assailants. The attack threw the pirates in disarray and forced them to take up defensive positions. He could only assume this meant they lacked a direct leader in their front lines, not to mention they offered no signs of tactical formation.

Whoever was ordering these pirates around clearly had little sympathy for the dead.

There were more dead pirates than he was happy with. They weren't putting up the fight that they should be. It was infuriating that these gnats were making his men into such a joke. " Push forward, there's only a couple of them." He shoved one of the pirates near him forward, not letting the man be safe at all. Where are my laser cannons, I want this post turned to atoms." He yelled. His anger was beginning to boil over inside of him. He was surrounded by too many cowards and bullies that were afraid of him. He needed competent men that knew how to fight and maneuver like a true fighting force.

"Sir, the laser cannon is ready to fire" One of the pirates said as he jogged up to Kuryr.

The large taung smold, now the fight would change. Here was the thing that would push things into his favor. " Aim at the listening post. Fire until it's a flaming pile of scrap no the ground." The first laser blast slammed into the side of the building, smashing into the wall and leaving a scorching hole. Another shot and the wall would be breached. Then his pirates could swarm the silly bugs and overwhelm them with ease.

Token was done with the pirates inside. She had information, she needed to see who could use that information. Would Anja like it? Did it matter if she would? She’d be able to use it, maybe the Levantines could use the information? She wasn’t sure. She was sure that the pirates here were not going to be hurting anyone else.

And that it was time to go outside. People were out there. People were firing on the building with her inside. That was not good. Brown eyes made her path to the outside, and she began moving. And that was when she had felt another shot at the building.

She made her way to the exit. She saw the pirates. She was angry.

Token called the Force to her and she screamed, a blast that was emanating from her, out like a shockwave, but definitely directed at the largest group of pirates. Her next move would be to react and make a bubble. To protect herself.

Objective K: Save the Shoe!
Location: Swamp
[2/20]

The situation was still salvageable. Or so he thought.

All he needed to do was to put his foot back into his shoe and carefully remove it from the influence of mud that surrounded it. Should have been easy, in theory.

Slowly he began to lift the socked foot from the mud, but immediately he could feel the strained cotton being pulled in by the mud. It was fine, a sock could be sacrificed in this venture but he was not leaving this bloody swamp without his boots. They were fine pair of Force damned boots.

The foot was free, but now bare. All that was left to do was the careful placement of foot back into shoe. Slowly now, easy. He could feel his booted-foot sinking further into the mud as he manoeuvred the leg through the air. It felt like surgery.

Then it happened. Perhaps it was his sobriety that off-put his balance, or maybe it was the leg still stuck in the mud but Kiber began to fall backwards.

“FEEEEEEETH!”

His back hit the bog with a hard slap of a splash, as his other foot was also released from its boot, leaving two shoes stuck in the mud. The man roared in new-found irritation at this turn of events. Suddenly it was evident that this situation was going to be a lot hard to rectify.

"We did meet, on the ship here. I never thanked you for leading the prayer."

He had barely finished the sentence when his companion jumped to the side suddenly, to be momentarily replaced by a flying blob of... something, which then splashed against the wall-door behind them. Turning to face the direction the attack had come from, Mard saw something hideous crawl at him. The vongspawn had a number of pointed, sharp-looking legs - the exact amount was hard to judge as it skittered towards him. What was easy to judge, however, was the fact that the thing's course would put a pair of mean-looking pincers right in Mard's upper leg, if it didn't change.

So Mard had a choice. He could shoot the chitinous creature, still wet from the sac it had sprung from. Or he could just smash it. The latter certainly appealed to him more.

Waiting for the exact moment to strike, Mard raised his rifle overhead, eyeing the rapidly approaching monster carefully. Just as he thought he recognised some form of triumph in the alien thing's gait, he moved slightly to one side, getting himself out of direct harm by the pincers - that were still dripping with acid - and into striking range. As the vongspawn turned in reaction to his dodge, he struck. Letting out a primal cry that echoed inside the chamber, the butt of his rifle hit, and cracked the chitinous head of the thing, pinning it to the ground and splattering what seemed to be brains across the reflective floor.

Coming back up, and stepping away from the twitching monstrosity, he hoped that the brain was not caustic too.

"I'm Mard. Let's go!"
