An Inn, In, An In.

La'kuus whipped her knife in the up direction, quickly making another skid back to the axe that was just thrown. This battle was full of trickery and speed, much like her own. A taste of her own medicine, perhaps. Whatever the case, she intended to play along until she either got killed, or killed.

There wasn't much other choice to be had at this point, now was there? Even with the sounds of chuckling echoing about, there was still a few other senses that could tell darn well this fight wasn't going to be hard to locate.

@La'kuus Quelin

Good thing she got out of the way, as it had taken to a long jump (how did it get that much air?!) and landed where she had once been standing. Only to catch the axe on its slow arc.

It began to chuckle more. Like a deranged little robot child. It was enjoying this. Seemed like a game almost. It echoed across the walls and seemed to come from different positions each time. Maybe it had access to the vox system here?

Not taking any steps towards her as it hefted the axe in its hand and took a position that looked remarkably like her own earlier. Something she probably wouldn't expect was a large tendril begin to snake its way out of its open palm, seeming to have its own sort of life as it twisted and writhed, crackling with energy. A test swing on the ground created a loud crack-snap sound and she could see the sand had been burned immensely from the hit, at its apex it had been turned to glass.

The crowd came alive after that, their silence gone as they screamed adulation and in joy at what was occurring.

Slowly it began to walk towards her again...

"It appears the Stranger is toying with its meal today, guess that happens when you find someone who can match your speed! Maybe the Stranger is having a sa-"

With a snap from his wrist, the tendril extended up like a lightning bolt going the other direction-to hit the upper vox speaker, destroying it and silencing the commentator for now.

"The Stranger? That just sounds like a name someone chose when they were kicked out of a few clubs." La'kuus neatly picked up the whip she dropped earlier. It looked like they had a fit of weapon choices now. Her mind raced dangerously as her eyes flickered the form over and over, her ears straining to find out where the main energy was coming from.

If she could disable something in there, she could use that... Even if it was an arm, a good 15 percent of his bodily actions would be removed. She just needed to balance the fight. With her structure as firm as it was, it couldn't very well handle a beating from a hammer. A bat, at best. Running forward again, La'kuus snapped her whip at the figure's hand, especially the one with the wicked looking tentacle. "But then again, what kind of person can call themselves anything if they're a stranger to themselves?"

@La'kuus Quelin

Another growling chuckle escaped into the air once again. It sounded more angry though this time over the last.

When La's whip came in to impact with the Strangers wrist, instead of flinching back from the chain, it took the hit-which damaged the wrist a bit from what it looked like. The black paint on the metal having been shorn off by the impact, exposing the shiny durasteel underneath.

A hiss came from underneath its shawl, a small plume of steam billowing out from under the cloth-it appeared it was weight down with either all that dry blood or something else entirely. For some reason it hadnt flown up this entire time...even with the jump and landing!

Its hand though (the one with the electro tendril) grabbed the chain which had hit it earlier. The tendril following suit and wrapping itself along the length of the chain, crackling energy along its length, the metal beginning to turn red. A dark mechanical laugh emonated from the Stranger one last time before it yanked with full force with its arm, trying to drag her to him or yank the whip from her...

...'THURETHURETHURE' came the sound of a high powered blaster, and the green bolts to follow. Hammering into the Strangers back and arm. Bits of metal sheared away under the quick barrage from above. La could see the one who had fired just a bit, only the cold gaze of a rebreather mask looked back and a black hood, holding a DL-18 blaster.

The Stranger spun around and howled up at the being above, as he took off into the crowd. The Stranger was having none of it and gave chase! By way of slamming himself into the wall and beginning to make its own footholds and handholds to climb up. Having completely forgotten about his opponent and dropped the whip earlier.

From La's perspective, she could see parts of the shawl had been blasted and burned away from the backside of the Stranger, a strange metal shell was on the back and where the blaster bolts had hit-there was bits of flesh which had been burned underneath, and was seeping blood in spots.

In the crowd, the voice of the commentator screamed out "Crowd interference, match forfeit till later time!, his voice sounding out of breath as it seems he had to run the whole way to the pits edge.

During this, the Stranger had made its way to the lip of the pit and had began its chase, knocking and toppling over spectators in its furious charge to find its attacker...

"For her amazing performance tonight, the One Punch Woman is going to go home with a grand prize! If she offers to go in the ring again in the future!" The commentator said after a few moments of sucking in air, well, not said, but shouted.

Win by technical difficulties. Now that wasn't cool, not one bit. Frowning from under her mask, she whipped her knife a few times in her hand, then sent a clean shot to the opened flesh areas she found open from the blaster. With a small huff, she walked away with her new whip in hand, then another weapon once she caught up to it. In the waiting room, she looked to the droid and gave a small smile to it, before walking furthermore out to see who she registered with to get her prize, and promise a return to the ring.

At least she got something out of it today. A taste of a good battle, new weapons, and a few credits. The knives she bought were cheap anyways, she didn't quite need them. New inventory was always nice anyways. If only she got her hands wrapped on a vibroblade.

@La'kuus Quelin

Her knife would bad sunk into the Strangers back, or what should be the back-and went with him on his rampage after the unknown shooter

The Droid chirped and beeped happily as she took the bar. Giving a little wave with its mechanic arm as she left.

As she got to the sign in desk, the droid running it was mostly grumbling and growing to itself as it went about setting all the records straight for the day. Sliding over piles of credit chits to each fighter in turn, and then to La when it was her time. Only a nod came from the droid as it took her word and got her information to contact her on the hill system.

Speaking of that, she may have noticed she had several message left for her. From Olan.

Most of them ranged from 'Finishing up' to 'Where are you?' Until the final message which was just of his head, giving him a unusual appearance, as the ones before showed his surroundings and himself more

"Well, you seem busy, will see you later. Going to shop for a bit and meet some contacts. Make sure to not get into too much trouble! You got a interview tomorrow! See you hopefully back at the ship later this evening!"

He sounded a bit rushed at the end and a bit worried. But otherwise his usual self.

La'kuus pocketed the credits after making sure a few of them were real. As she walked out and listened to the messages, her feet carried her onto the weapon shop. There she bought two new knives at a low price and pocketed them wherever she felt like she should before walking back into the streets. Sometime later, walking into an allyway, she sent a message to Olan. "Hello, Olan. I just won a pit fight, got some credits. Dinner is on me if you're up for that offer. If we have to run away all of the sudden, that's fine too. Hope to bump into you in the markets." Somewhere, halfway through the message she remembered to take her helmet off to show her face. Unrealized to her, her left ear was dribbling blood onto her snowy white hair.

After the message was sent, La'kuus put back on her helmet and went to find something else that would interest her. Wonder how fast four armed aliens could make a dress, and arrange a hair style...

@La'kuus Quelin

She would find out that they were VERY fast. And deft. One could only hope that they never got in a knife fight with these stylists. They even looked like the been in a few of them!

Kind of ironic the place was called 'Pulse Styling', in bright neon Huttese letters.

She would find that Olan left a message in return, this time he sounded out of breath but happy. "Nahhh, we don't have to abruptly leave this time. Just a unforseen circumstance cropped up. Well, I will meet you wherever you like after I go home and put something on more fitting for dinner. I do have a suggestion. The Dark Matter resteraunt, big wig place if you wanna go to it. And, CONGRATULATIONS ON THE FIGHT!"

Getting bright and boisterous at the end as the message receded. She wouldn't notice him shopping while she was about. There is a lot of markets though.

If you didn't know Olan wasn't the shopping type by now, or at least, the local type, you may have a hard time following in his footsteps.

La'kuus in the meantime got herself a nice long hairstyle with multiple braids and buns, and nearly at the same time, a beautiful red dress to compliment her pale skin, hair, and eyes. Once all was done, she browsed the perfumes, visited the medical response, and got an auto-make-up kit. Soon enough she found herself ready with her armor locked up in a bag, though her armored boots hid under her new dress. Arriving at the restaurant, La'kuus stopped to leave a message before getting a booth. "I'm at the place you suggested. Meet you soon, hopefully."

@La'kuus Quelin

She would be waiting only a few minutes before he showed up. Coming through the front doors and being ushered by the Chagarian hostess over to the booth. Looked as if he cleaned up...a lot. Beard trimmed, hair combed and somewhat tamed. Dressed in a dark blue jacket-it folded one side over the other, somewhat like a coat, black dress shirt, dark blue dress pants and long toe black dress shoes. There had been a brown trench coat to go with the ensemble, but it was taken at the door by the hostess.

Sitting across from her, she could see he looked quite tired, overall happy.

Meanwhile Olan was taking in the sight of La in front of him. "You look amazing!" He blurted out as his first words since the last time they met. Quickly he began to scan the resteraunt, taking in all the rich paintings and architecture above them-as well the slew of rich folk that were at the same watering hole as them. Doing his best not to stare...at anyone, or anything. Especially stare at La. Bad idea. Don't do that.

La'kuus loosely gave herself a look over, blushing the faintest bit at the comment. She looked back to Olan, nodding to him. "Not to shabby yourself. What do you think looks good on the menupad?" She asked faintly as the looked over what they had in store. It was a good restaurant, better than most on her planet anyways. She wasn't surprised that there were better places, better than run from her rich uncle.

As she read, she twirled a piece of hair with her finger, slipping it in and out of it's little braid to her own amusement. Her eyes would sometimes find themselves locking to Olan's. A special little moment that. A man of mysterious adventure locked in him, holding back a little too many secrets...

@La'kuus Quelin

She had no clue how much he liked keeping those Secrets, even to himself. Sparing a glance up from the pad in front of him to look her in the eye every so often, shifting his head to the side as he thought about so many things at once.

She asked you a question...focus on the question...what was it again...

At that moment he sort of stared at her like a terrestrial cervidae creature in high beams.

Food! That's what it was! Quick, say something witty!

"Anything that doesn't squirm its way on the ground or leaves a slime trail, I'm good with.-" Looking about quickly after that. Realizing he might have just insulted someone in earshot, thankfully it was loud enough most couldn't hear him. Since he was pretty sure a Hurt was nearby. Now aiming his eyes back at the menu. "-The...Pesta Bantha looks good. And I suggest a Mandalorian or Coruscanti wine."

[member="Olan Teff"]

Is this guy testing my alcohol limits? She shrugged at his choices and poked at the exact thing he suggested, stealing it right onto her pad for order. No need for saying anything about wine. Wine is cool, she could handle wine... Yeah, she could totally do that. "Sounds good."

@La'kuus Quelin

He had not even made his order when she snatched the pad. Smiling gently at her hurry to order and he took it back when she was finished. Placing his order as well, and a half glass of wine to go with. Setting the pad down and focusing on her. That Cheshire smile back on his face. "So tell me how the fights went! You aren't torn up, which is good!" Now finally taking some time to look her over without feeling uncomfortable or intrusive. Seeming much more relaxed as he saw she basically was no more worse for the wear than she was before leaving the ship!

[member="Olan Teff"]

"The fight?" She drew a hand to her chin to think, then perked up as she remembered it. Oh yeah, the fight. "Oh, it was pretty easy. The last battler couldn't keep their focus on me, ended up running away." She looked down at her nails casually. She didn't quite remember why he ran away, but she thought it had something to do with free food.

@La'kuus Quelin

His face goes a little slack at that. Eyes going almost as wide as his mouth. Shaking himself back to normal after a moment. "It..it sounds like they either were an easy bunch to beat or you just are that good! Probably the later." Face screwing up in a memory of what happened earlier before he returned to his standard: Smiling. She could see a bit of sweat at the top of his brow at the mention of the fights, and he seemed even more relieved now.

Tilting his head to the side. "And did you enjoy shopping?"

[member="Olan Teff"]

La'kuus furrowed her brows gently and gave a slow nod. "Yes... I got my hair done. Is it hot in here for you? I have a new fan I could let you borrow." She offered with a small smile. (( ROleplayer's brain is going dead due to Act II))

@La'kuus Quelin

Olan just laughed gently and rubbed the back of his neck. "Thanks La, but I am good. Just thought of something and it made me worried for a second-Oh yeah!-" Reaching into his jacket, he pulls out a envelope and slides it over to her. Once opened, she could see three-two thousand credit slip chips. "Your cut of the shipment deal after repair and refit on the ship. Everything went well with Tosk, he will be meeting me at Endalakas place tonight, will most likely be staying there to prep everything for tomorrow. Shes interviewing everyone en masse it appears. And is going to appoint Tosk to make the choices, for who will be allowed to work for her. He knows to look for you."

Then he looked about quickly then leaned into her. "And I got a look at the shipment, it was mostly blasters and slug throwers. Like shes arming up for something." Shrugging his shoulders. "Probably to take down another competitor for her little slice of this place."

[member="Olan Teff"]

A tiny smile went on La'kuus face at the statement. She looked down at the credits, poking at them before sliding the whole envelope into her credit pouch for later use. Luckily, it was one of those more expensive ones. Not that "cut here and let me drip all my credits" bags. "Well. You know what I've always wanted? I've always wanted to steal a weapon from a shipment like this. Everytime I see it leave the planet. I plan to do so with someone I don't know, or maybe someone I don't like." She shrugged gently, pondering her newfound knowledge.

@La'kuus Quelin

Snickering gently. "If you are here long enough, you will get your chance-don't doubt that. And you will never go without making -some- enemies." Tilting himself to the side to look at her all up and down for a few moments. "Like what they did with your hair. The curls look good on you." Just as he said that, their wine and a soup arrived for the both of them, appetizers to the main course. Brought over by a bright silver-red-and-gold serving droid. Shuffling off after carefully depositing the contents of its tray onto the table.
