An Inn, In, An In.

@La'kuus Quelin

A nod of his head made his hair flap about as if it was just washed, but it sure did not look it. "Yep, were gonna be off. And I got in contact with my Handler. He has a job for anyone looking for the chance to get into some fights. You also aren't the only one getting the offer though, its open and only a few will get chosen. Its good money though, real good money."

Moving forward easily with the help of the leg brace, he retrieves his harness for his gear, slipping it on under his jacket and made his way to the cockpit to strap himself in. "He was a bit sketchy on the details, but he did mention that a underboss in Shadda needed to rid himself of some annoying competition. Turns out the guy had a hand in our little scuffle earlier."

Well, money was always good. La'kuus looked out the window as Olan worked on getting his ship ready for the jump. "I hope I don't disappoint, then." She said with a little squirm. The thought of some actual, reasonably good fights got her all excited. No more fights finished in one punch!

@La'kuus Quelin

A little shake of his head and a chuckle escaped. "I have faith you won't anyway...and you are also going in on my recommendation. Trust you to do well. For now though, we gotta get this cargo to my clients drop. Hope you don't mind half on the payout." Flipping the switches now for the ship to jump to light speed, he locks himself snuggly into his chair and puts that hand onto the hyperdrivea throttle lever.

She laid against the seat after buckles were put in place. Chewing on a single piece of hair, she thought about what Olan said. She didn't really understand what some of the words meant, as she couldn't think clearly right now, but she was sure in the end she would have fun. She stayed quiet during the ride.

@La'kuus Quelin

With that he pushes the lever forward and that unusual feeling of displacement occurred again as they jumped to lightspeed. Minutes passed by, a soft white started to come from the hull, then it passed. After several more long moments, they drop out of lightspeed just in view of a large planet, and a much closer moon...that appeared to glow with millions of lights. Even from here she could see thousands of ships moving too and from the large metromoon.

"Welcome to Nar Shadda." He said with a nod. The ship quickly closing in on the planet. Ships of every design could be seen. Even a massive one, painted in a silver and gold pattern, a luxury ship. It flew next to them for awhile, like a humongous dolphin riding alongside a far smaller schooner. Then it broke off for some part of the planet unknown to them.

She could see now that the moon was ALL city pretty much. With multiple points to land. He chose a small landing off a tall megastructure with a open landing pad. A group of multi colored ground crew were waiting below for them. With a toydarian at the head. Even though it was dark on this side of the moon, it was quite bright thanks to the immense amount of neon lighting everywhere.

Atop of that, it was raining. Heavily.

With a huff, Olan moved the ship into position and Activated the vertical descent thrusters and landed. Hitting the shutdown button and reset latch, the ship began powering down and the bays opening. "Time to see Tosk." Unbuckling himself from his seat he climbs out of the operators chair and heads to the cargo area, taking a Vibroblade from the rack and belting it on before heading for the starboard ramp. Which was already getting splashed with water, even with the body of the ship in the way.

It did not take long until the ground crew came in-soaked head to toe, and their general mood being just as stormy as the weather-and began to take boxes without even speaking to Olans consent. But he seemed none the bothered as he went down the ramp...

Looking out of the viewport of the ship while they were still inside of it, La'kuus gave a bored expression to the entire sight. Ships, cities, buildings, nothing not expected. She unbuckled and followed Olan out of the ship as the men came to take the cargo out and away. After watching one of them lift and carry, she turned to Olan.

"I'm going to go wonder off aimlessly in the market. If you need or want me, just give me a call." Without another word or response, she rushed off to see what the city had to offer. She wasn't sure he really would, to come get her when the time came, but she didn't care right now. She could buy her way off the planet if that's what it meant.

@La'kuus Quelin

He called out to her over the din of the rain. "Will give you a call soon! Be safe! And contact me in return!" as she left he began to speak with the Toydarian...

-----One of the multitudes of Megamarkets-----

An endless sprawling landscape of different shops were open to her at this point. Stuff ranging from electronics to weapons to even a gambling hall. A crowd was gathered around the entrance to one of them which had a sign in Huttese that read 'Fight tonight. Sign up now!'. By the roar of the crowd, it seems that the fights had already begun.

[member="Olan Teff"]

The lateness of the signing would be her downfall, she was sure. Instead of being proper like any other person would and run in there screaming her head off, La'kuus had purchased some armor, and gotten a knife sharpener before even walking into the area. She had hidden herself in a large helmet so her folks at home wouldn't recognize her. Now for a good name. Qualin. Perfect. Qualin the One Punch Woman! has signed up for the fight!

It appears the fights are somewhat going on all day, as there is multiple first place winners on the board when she approached the sign in table. A older looking service droid looked up to her and in a modified sort of gruff tone said: "Put your name down and a contact, so if you die, someone you know can come cart your corpse wherever it needs to go." As she finished putting in her name, the robot would shout as loud as its vox would allow: "Qualin the One Punch Woman has joined the fight! Let's welcome her!"

Rowdy applause came after, shouts of 'fresh blood' ringing out over the crowd. As she was ushered towards where the fighting pits were, she could see several bodies being drug off and a single form standing tall in the arena. It was dressed in all black, with a several eyed helmet-rebreather that covered its face, only color on the character itself was a bright red sash wrapped around its waist and two silver Axes in its hands.

From the look of it, the person in question was several heads taller than the humans whom were dragging bodies away, and it had the muscle to match.

"The Stranger remains grand champion everyone! He may not be the one we knew, but we've come to love him anyway. Unlike his predecessor he lacks the flair, but makes up for it in his brutality, give a round of applause for-The Straaannnngeeeer!"

The crowd erupted into applause at that point, the large black wrapped and masked being slowly turned around and disappeared into the red corners stairs down, in the pit. Having to duck its head to not smash its helmet on the ceiling above.

She was then slowly ushered by a little astrodroid which had a blue flag attached to the top of its head, as she had been assigned to the blue side. The challengers section. After a short few steps down the stairs, she could see she was the only one left to fight. The room was empty, except for a broken droid which just kept spouting the rules out.

"There are four rounds. One through three are non lethal, and getting to round three declares you a first place holder, and if wish you can go to round four-which is to challenge the arenas Grand Champion. At any time you can halt a match by yielding to the opponent. If you yield on the fourth round, the Champion can choose to kill you or let you live. All ballistic and energy weapons are prohibited except for the weapons with give you or make exception for. Thank you, and enjoy your fights."

A few calm breaths filled La'kuus' lungs as she bounced on both feet for a moment, making sure she was loose enough to get a good grip on herself. After a few seconds of dancing in her little circle, she pulled out a small knife and slid it up her sleeve, for something to grab onto it she couldn't make it out of a counter in time, and had to risk something breaking. She pulled herself into the arena shortly after.

With the crowd on it's toes to get the fight they paid for, all the screaming and cheering of both sides, of probably the same comments, La'kuus did a quick single punch into the air, making a small wooshing sound from the sheer speed and force she used. Pulling it back into position as quickly, she mimicked with a second gloved punch and turned her helmet forward while her eyes quickly looked up and to the sides to take advantage of something.

La'kuus would have to win this battle with speed, unless she could unarm her opponent. Her options to do so were limited. Cause him to get both axes stuck and take him elbow to head, force weapons out of his hands and use them against his secondary, or dodge until he ran out of breath. She could probably think of more if she had time. If only [member="Olan Teff"] were here to see it.

@La'kuus Quelin

You never know who may be watching...

The crowd erupted in jeers and cheers of joy as she thrust her fist in the air. Excitement in the air was palpable.

To her likely dismay, they had failed to tell her one little detail about the fights; they weren't all the same opponent. Stepping out of the opposing side of the Arena would be this four armed monstrosity. A Besalisk man with what looked like...a piece of ship armor strapped to his chest. Maybe he just crawled through a junkyard and didn't bother to knock all the junk off himself. Hefting a shockmaul in his hand as he pointed it across the large sandy pit, splotched here and there with the last fights blood. It seemed a bit unfair he was given the weapon to use, but maybe it was another rule which wasn't covered-that of the Challenger Vs the Defender.

A grumbly voice rumbled out of the large creature. "You're gonna get it missy! And smacks the maul on the ground. A loud buzzer starts and the announcers voice began to speak. "Here we have tonight a fight between the One Punch Woman, and the Junkyard Brawler - Bosht the Brute! The fight will begin in ten standard seconds....ten....nine...eight..."

Bosht huffed a little, beginning to pace in the colored corner he has at the other end of the pit. Spinning the crackling maul in his hand. Hopefully it was set to stun.

"...seven....six....five....four...

As they got closer the Besalisk fighter breathed harder and harder. Eyes glued to the lithe form of La, and the eye pro-of her helmet.

"...three...two...one....FIGHT!" And the buzzer sounded again, the room leapt into shouts from all sides as the crowd watched from high above. Not wasting anytime the large alien charged the woman, sweeping the maul back and forth infront of it like a lawn mower-but far slower, though with more power. Quickly beginning to close distance with her.

[member="Olan Teff"]

As the distance between them quickly closed, La'kuus let out a roar of her own, though not nearly as threatening as what the crowd could come up with. With the slow swing of the maul, the woman gave a small slide to where the blade of the weapon would already swing, while her fist curled into a tight ball and came around. As it near closer, and closer, things took a turn for the worst as there was a sudden change of direction for her attack. It was going straight up, in between the legs of the monsterly large creature now above her.

Goodness hope they had the goods right there.

@La'kuus Quelin

She would realize whatever she hit was extremely hard, whatever it was. One could only guess it was a protective codpiece under the Besalisks trousers. Didn't stop the creature from groaning in immense pain and pull his legs together, one hand going down to cup the recently wrecked area. Pain evident in its eyes, before turning into a fiery rage. Screaming at the top of its monsterously sized lungs, it slammed the maul down towards La with the force of a man who just had his jewels jambled in a not so pleasant manner.

This all out attack did leave his head wide open though if she could get around the maul which was coming down at her. It seems the alien had completely forgotten about protecting himself...even though he was just taught that was a bad idea.

[member="Olan Teff"]

La'kuus hand was throbbing. She should have paid a little extra to buy boxing tape. Suddenly rolling from the weapon, La again eyed the creature. Open for attacks, nearly bending in pain. She kicked the ground loosely as she turned to run closer to the wall. A weaker more collapsible material. She would have to use that as a sudden surprise after she got past this battle.

Flipping the knife across her skin and into her gloved hand, La'kuus turned back to the no doubt charging creature. She positioned the small metal between her ring and middle finger, cushioned by her palm. She looked for openings, mostly around the legs or shoulders. If she could manage to get him down even one arm, seeing as groin pain might not last forever, she could possibly get around to either stealing his weapon or stab him where his main muscle cords were. She couldn't kill him yet, but that pleasure could wait to the last round.

@La'kuus Quelin

She was utterly right, he was blindedly swinging and flinging his weapon around like a child throwing a tantrum at this point. Even the second set of arms were swinging punches wildly in several directions. Even with the sight of the knife, he wasn't stopping in the least, he just went headfirst into her like a bull rushing a matador. His body nearly dwarfed La's much smaller frame as it rocketed towards her.

His legs and shoulders were easy targets, but his legs did have the added protection of those second arms now flailing about, maybe getting in the way of an attack.

La'kuus took a large breath, then ran back at the beast. She jumped up just before impact, bring her hand to another powerful punch into the arm. It was then that the sudden breath was ragged out of her, and she fell back with her knife lodged tightly into the piece of bones, making for either a very uncomfortable and probably painful way to keep your arm still, pulling it out and bleeding, or attempting to break and metal and with it the bones it lodged into. Kuus quickly got back on her feet and kept her distance, running a few meters back to regain herself after her stupid stunt.

She readied her fists again, though this time it was her own red blood dribbling down in between her fingers where she cut herself from the sliding off of the punch. Update. Hold your knife correctly, next time.

@La'kuus Quelin

It probably did not break on the impact, as he yipped in pain from the sudden shock in his arm from the knife delving into it. Maybe it was a bad idea punching one of the most musculature dense parts of the creatures body, let alone with a blade as well on the other end. Eyes snapping onto her as she got away and put her hands up in defense. Putting one of his lower arms onto the wound the large creature just glared at her. This time...he did not charge. Anger seeming to be spent in the childish way, but cold fury remained. Now he moved in more slowly, cautiously, switching the maul in his hands-one of each four in little tosses, so she doesn't know which way the attack may come from if he does.

Above they can hear the announcer again, the crowd had gone quiet as the fight raged on. "Over halfway through the round and there has been a good amount of action! Bosht has been doing horrible this time around as his more spring-driven opponent jumped out of his attacks like they were nothing. The One Punch Woman though is not living entirely up to her name-but that one punch she did get in, was more than enough to make Bosht angry! Give some applause for the fighters! Round one is about to end!"

Bosht was quiet during this, a heavy huff coming from his huge flat tooth-lined mouth. Screams of joy and applause ripped through the stadium at this point. All eyes on the two fighters.

Out of nowhere, La'kuus quickly twirled an invisible object, then ran forward. Without warning, she threw the invisible, and fake object at the creature's lower arm where the maul could be seen being thrown in the area. If she could dodge this last attack and throw in a good punch to the creature's foot, she could get him off stance for the later rounds.

All that mattered now is if the creature would fall for her little mind games, and if she could avoid the heavy slow swing of a weapon in time to give a slide punch finish to the upper foot. Even if it couldn't get through the armor, she doubted the monster was smart enough to realize when things fall on it, gravity uses it's work as well.

@La'kuus Quelin

Bosht fell for it. His own personal paranoia caused by getting injured and beat had only doubled his effort to make sure nothing -else- happened to him. Snapping his hand at the air to only catch just that...air. Meanwhile the maul hand just swung blindly where he thought she would be. Thus again, only displacing the air.

The punch to his foot would cause the big guy to start hopping on his other foot, as the armor wasn't there-but his shin. Groaning and screaming as he clutched at the appendage like he had stepped in lava. Above she could hear a bunch of laughs and cheers as the buzzer rang.

"Round one, complete! Winner by points is the One Punch Woman! Everyone give her a round of applause-haha-and let her know what you thought of her performance! She will be up against Lady Fang in the next round! Start placing your bets people!"

Part of the crowd cheered, but a lot boo'ed as they finally realized they lost on the bet La would lose. Bosht just dropped his maul and hopped his way to the stairs down into the red side of the pit. Disappearing quickly as he no longer wanted to feel the shame of losing as spectators above threw debris at him. Mostly empty cans of what appeared to once contain alcoholic fluid.

It was now La's turn to return to the blue side of the arena and back into the waiting room for a breather...

[member="Olan Teff"]

La'kuus picked up the weapon her previous beast carried. It wasn't too heavy, but it would slow her down. She tested swinging it around a few times, then put it down upsidedown into the ground for a later call.

After a few bounces and a few breaths, La'kuus got herself ready once again for the battle. She was sure she could win this, surley...
