Not having much more luck on the beach either. I have an Alpha Raptor, a Carnotaurus, a pack of sabre toothed cats, dilophosaurs, and a Tyrannosaur all waiting for me at my little now destroyed shack. :-/

Dunno, I was offline. There were some lovely signs set up in the middle of our base including one informing us 'Nothing was dead'. It's possible they've just been chased somewhere stupid, since other than Dracos Raptor they were all Fliers.
If I wasn't so done I'd be interested in how this was going to be spun as being 'Our own fault'. I love that this is behaviour coming from people we know who we agreed to get along with.
It's probably 'funny' when they do it though. Remember, if we do anything similar it's an act of war! Whatevs. If it gets too bad we can always swap servers, or honestly I enjoy it enough I might look into getting my own.

Short of having a Rex, the alphas stay tough, but the rest as you level and when you move into metal stuff (flak armour and a pike) you'll actually be able to stab in the face until it goes away all by yourself. The start is roooough though unless you get lucky and no carnivores spawn near you for awhile and let you get established.

I would suggest staying near the beach, but perhaps moving to a different area. I found a nice secluded spot in North 2 under a cliff along the beach side and all I really had to worry about was the occasional Dilo, and then one Sarco, though that left before attacking anything. I think most of the building is still there, though it is horribly lacking in any sort of of protection other than a few walls. Now I had a few larger dinos moving in my general direction, however I get the feeling that they would have gone straight by instead of making the turn out under the cliff to get to my house.
So to cut all that down, get a house under a cliff.

I hope it doesn't come to that either. I've enjoyed the occasional encounter... so far just one where a person ran by my house without any clothes, at 170% speed. It was amusing, if not scarring :lol:.
And if worse comes to worse, we can just set up in that cave and build some autoturrets, I already have a generator and am working on electrical cabling. I found out that gasoline lasts a whole hour in the generator, compared to the mere 15 minutes in the fabricator, when turned on! With all the oil I'm getting I think Gasoline will not be a problem hehehe, thanks Bruce for carrying me so far and killing so many megas without so much as a single complaint.

They're literally coming in on fliers and just taking them. Like asshats.
Today Echo is gone. So that's most of the Pteras and two raptors they've taken so far. Nice.

I have seriously considered it.. Same problem as before though, it's not their entire tribe that are idiots, and I'd hate to destroy something someone non-aggressive who is playing nice worked hard on. So for now at least I'll settle for violently defending our space ;p
