Another chuckle would breathe over his throat. With a tug to his belt like a leash, Danger drew back and gave an nod towards the direction of the door.

“Then maybe once we are done we can figure out about surveying and convincing,” she offered, pressing another quick kiss against his neck before sliding out from the wall and turning.

“I’ve downloaded a holographic map and some of the key sights we can start out with,” she informed him, grabbing the length of her hair to tie up into a ponytail. “Then if you are hungry, we can either stay at the Spire or come back to the ship. Though I’ve been craving ribanes the past few days.”

Another smile would shine over her shoulder, “Maybe I’ll take a few holopics of you to send out to Rose and Lily.”

He chuckled. "I doubt they'd be interested."

They were little more than teenagers still, most of those weren't too interested in pictures of their family on vacation. Or maybe he was wrong about that, a slight shrug carried over his shoulders as he thought about it. Then he shifted, letting his hands fall off of Dangers rear as he began to wander over towards the table. Before he left he scooped up the length of black cloth, curling it around his fist and placing it on the table in front of him.

"Though, if you're looking to take pictures..." Alric mused out loud as he turned slightly. "I have a few ideas."

A smirk pulled at his lips.

“And I’ve precious few things to wear!.” Danger sang out, grabbing her sunglasses and a jacket. “What will I ever do then?” the sarcastic quip came after.

“Reckon I could always improvise…” devilry would dance in the eyes of the redheaded minx. Slipping the sunglasses on, the twitching smirk only made her appear all the more smug. Waiting at the door, she slipped her hands onto her back pockets. Rocking on her boots, she flashed him a wide grin.

“But I might need some motivation.”

A small shudder went through the ship as it docked against the spire. Clamps came down, and the airlock connected and sealed. Now it was just a matter of enjoying the Spire at their leisure.

"Ah, how the tables have turned." Alric said as he followed after her, both of them moving towards the airlock. "A few minutes ago you were doing the convincing and I was the victim."

He grinned at her, pulling a small coat from a chair, just in case. "Some might say we're at an impasse, but I'm an optimist, so I prefer to think that we've stumbled across a solution to both of our problems."

Alric's silver tongue went into work overtime.

This was part of how they had always worked, how he and Danger spoke. Their Banter was a timeless thing, something that both of them enjoyed about as much as anyone could enjoy anything. It annoyed others, but Alric had always lost himself in conversation with her.

"Well it is always about finding a mutually beneficial arrangement, Mistah Kuhn," Danger sasses back with a honeyed drawl, walking alongside the Tetan with a rolling gait.

"Compromise comes with give and take," innuendo clung to her tongue, and it was evident Danger was enjoying the conversation. To the casual observer, they wouldn't be able to comprehend the why and the how. Their banter was quick, often times full of euphemism, innuendos, and snarky quips. Sometimes Alric got the final say, sometimes Danger won top. Regardless of the outcome, both enjoyed the company.

The hiss of the airlock would draw the door open, and Alric would gesture for Danger to take point. Gentleman or not, the view was a boon.

For the Spire of course...

"Would you look at that..." This time if was Danger giving the low appreciative whistle. Even the docking corridor was impressive with the view. There was just a hint of vertigo, but Danger managed to collect her bearings. Up ahead, the entrance towards the observation deck awaited them.

For a moment, Alric stopped.

He lingered in the hallway that lead towards the tower, leaning against the glass as Danger kept walking. She didn't realize at first that he had stopped, that he was watching her walk slowly towards the tower itself. A small smile pulled at his lips as suddenly she slowed down, the swagger of her hips and the click of her shoes stopped, and slowly Danger half turned towards him.

Her face was perplexity, confused as to why he had stopped.

Alric only smiled, a small smile. Not the grin he had worn seconds ago, not the smirk that had dawned on his face earlier, just a small smile. A smile that told of contentedness, of happiness with his current lot. His hands slowly pulled from his pocket, and Danger's look of confusion turned into a small smile of her own.

The Tetan watched her for a moment more, and then she spoke, beckoning him.

A second more passed, and Alric moved. The small smile stayed, and he caught up with Danger, wrapping his arm around the small of her back.
