"Sir," one of the officers aboard the Dragon's Breath said to get the Mon Cal's attention. "What is it," the amphibious Sith Master asked and walked over to the man, his large amber eyes staring at the officer before darting towards the console. "Sir, we have picked a large enemy force moving towards the palace on our radars." Glancing at the small monitor in front of the man, Veles looked at it himself. Republic reinforcements have finally arrived and it was time to deliver a final blow to the morale of the opposing force. Taking over the artillery would give the Sith a major advantage over the battlefield, letting them rain fire on the Republic forces.
Veles looked up, his empty gaze not focusing on anything in particular. The bridge went silent, awaiting his decision. As much as he wanted to destroy the artillery in the mountains, he believed the reinforcements to be more of a threat right now, as his brave brothers and sisters risked being surrounded. Taking over the artillery would take too much time, time they could spend by wreaking havoc upon the Republic tanks. On the other hand, not silencing the artillery provided the Republic with an option to cut the Sith forces off and have them between tanks and artillery fire. He had to act fact and immediately. The cybernetic eye glanced outside, looking at the mountain and taking several pictures of the area. "Continue the course towards the mountain," Veles finally said, breaking the silence. "Drop me off, then immediately turn the ship around and attack the Republic forces," the Mon Calamari ordered, his eyes sternly looking over the crew on the bridge. “Yes, sir!” the captain said in response and everyone returned to their duties, only Veles made his way towards the cargo bay, waiting for the ship to reach its destination. It could be felt and heard as the ship suddenly slowed down significantly and upon pressing the button next to him and opening the door, it could be seen as well. Despite knowing the risk of jumping out, the Mon Calamari Master did not watch the running image of trees for long. Sprinting, he tossed himself out of the ship, massing the Force inside his body and slowing down the fall that would have been fatal for many non-Force users.
Not only the Force, but the cybernetics in his body as well helped him to land relatively safe and unharmed. Immediately after his booted feet touched the ground, Veles found himself rolling rolling into the nearby bushes as he heard the incoming sound of many boots coming to check out the disturbance and shoot whatever the ship might have dropped behind their lines, followed by a chaotic fire into the sky. The cybernetic eye cast a brief glance at the ship, its shields not letting anything damage the plating. The pilots followed his command and the Dragon's Breath slowly turned around and headed the way it came from, flying towards the gathering of Republic forces. Knowing they were safe, the amphibious Sith manipulated the light and sound around his body to disappear to the naked eye and got up, leaving the bushes and swiftly moving straight towards the group of the Republic soldiers. They did not need to die and killing them meant risking the success of the plan, therefore he simply walked past them, letting them think that whatever dropped from the ship must have gone away from them, prompting the small group to venture away from the artillery.
Finding the commander was not easy. The Mon Cal resorted to using his cybernetic eye to let the pictures he had taken earlier guide him towards the command outpost by comparing them what he saw with his real eye. Passing several cannons ready to fire again, he completely ignored all enemies manning the artillery, as soon they would unknowingly serve the Sith, therefore their lives would remain intact for now. His mastery over bending sounds helped him greatly while sneaking past the Alderaanian forces, silencing the cracking of branches under his feet. The Mon Calamari Sith moved swiftly and with clear purpose. The terrain eventually changed, the ground now beaten by dozens of boots and often levelled to serve the military purpose. Enemy patrols became more regular and he had to be careful not to bump into anyone.
The uniform clearly revealed the commander, as well as his moving mouth speaking into the comlink. Veles' target. The amphibian knelt among the trees near the target's position, hiding in the shadows and no longer bending sounds to conserve the energy better. Closing his large amber eyes, the Sith meditated, drawing the Dark Side into his body to replenish some of his lost energy, feasting on the growing desperation of the nearby Alderaanian forces. He remained like this for a minute of so before reaching out through the Force and carefully connecting with the commander's mind. Remembering Darth Zarrah's lesson very well, he knew he had to be slow and careful, inserting throughts into the commander's head to make him believe those were his own before giving him any commands. This power known as Force corrupt would turn the commander into a puppet.
"I should take a look at the situation near the palace," was the first thought inserted into theman's head. It seemed logical, so the man took a look through the binos, staring at the situation for a while before putting the binos down by himself.
"It does not look good. If not for the reinforcements, we would have most likely lost already."
"The wind is quite chilly here."
"The palace is full of Sith forces."
"Everything seems so peaceful from up here, away from the fighting."
"What to do now? The Sith can simply escape the palace before the Republic forces surround them."
"Losing is not an option. We cannot let the Sith hydras have our beautiful home."
"If the palace is destroyed, we will eliminate the majority of the Sith inside."
"We can make this much easier for the Republic by destroying the Sith in the palace with artillery."
"Razing the palace to the ground will make it easy for us to eliminate the remaining Sith."
"The palace has to be destroyed!"
With each thought sent to the man, Veles' influence wrapped around the man's mind, the tendrils of the Dark Side in his head corrupting him. It was clear, the palace has to be destroyed!
A brief glance at the holoprojector and the commander spoke into his comlink. "Fire on Mike Bravo, 7-Niner-6, 6-Alpha-6.
The artillery cannons moved to aim at the palace and the sound of their fire thundered across the mountain.

Captain Markus' blue eyes scanned the field, noting the tanks and armored transporters. More importantly, he spotted a massive body of a Hutt dressed in all too familiar armor. The experienced Imperial and Banshee's faithful soldier immediately recognized the chancellor of the Republic. Since [member="Darth Banshee"]'s ship was equipped with weaponry primarily meant to disable enemy craft, which would be very handy against all the machines, they might even find some use against the beskar clad Hutt and possibly stun him.
Stepping closer to the window, the human smirked. "Shields on. Once in range, all cannons open fire on the enemy." The Dragon's Breath continued its flight, its crew ready for battle. Ten ion cannons accompanied by two turbolasers soon started barking, releasing their might upon the Republic's forces.
