Mission 2: Ossus Jungles.

Ryn bounded passed her, speaking on the run that he would accompany her on this mission. After the event on the desert planet and his return to the Sanctum, she knew him, the man behind the mask. That very compassionate healer that had patched her up and spoke to her of his people. It was good to have a good healer along for the trip, just in case, you never know.

Then she heard a more then familiar voice, that of her father's. "Hello father, good to see you out and about", she turned to him. "I do have a direction, I have co-ordinates to my target location which will guide me, well, they are a general set of co-ordinates". A wing and a prayer? possibly. Abaigeal turned to see that others had decided to come with her, that was good wasn't it? Yes of course it was, but the skinny dip in the pool would have to be postponed.

Oh I had better tell them what it is I am looking for...

"Thank you all for coming. Now .. part of the history of this planet saw an event of high interest to me. As Mistress of the Lightsabers, a keeper if you will, I consider this mission of importance to my duty in this role. A Neti Master, Ood Bnar had in his possession a collection of ancient lightsabers, and when Ossus was attacked by Mandalorian Crusaders, he took the lightsabers for safe keeping and to do so, he transformed himself into a tree, trapping the saber beneath his roots. It is believed that Master Luke Skywalker found the tree and took the saber ..again for safe keeping. So, I want to find this location and see, 1. that the tree is still there and 2. that all the sabers had actually been removed. I strongly suspect to find nothing, but in the very least we find a point of history and mark it for prosperity .. maybe even arrange a monument in it's place".

"So, there maybe other things to see on our way, so please stay alert with ears and eyes and the force because there are still untapped pockets of the old occupations of the Sith and the like .. shall we proceed?".

The path into the jungle cut through the over hanging foliage but soon enough that path would be concealed and they would have to forge their way through. "Be mindful of the frogs".

Having vanished into the foliage, the masked padawan paused, listening to Knight E'ron greet a man she addressed as 'Father'. Blinking a number of times in confusion, he'd turn again, fixing his gaze upon the subject in question. The HUD focused in, zooming on the man's face. One Ryn did not recognize himself, but after tapping into the SSC databanks, it quickly yielded the man's name. "Master Syn...." The padawan rolled the name around, memorizing the mans name and face. Interesting that he was finding more faces he'd never come across before. Interesting indeed.

Turning again, the padawan began scanning the local environs, before deciding it would be most cumbersome to travel with his cloak on. Leaping back from the tree-line, he'd begin removing the cloak, along with his mask and head-wrap. Having done so, his tail unraveled from about his waist, flicking idly behind him. After tucking the excess materials away in his satchel, he'd shoulder it, making sure that it was tight enough against him to keep from flopping, and positioned appropriately to not impede retrieval of any of his swords, or either of his two lightsaber-hilts.

His back, being towards the approaching party, was clearly showing his meager arsenal. Three short-swords in sheaths, two crossing the small of his back for easy drawing, and the third running across his back at a slight angle, the handle actually pointed towards the ground, rather than up for an over-the-shoulder draw, were all clearly visible to those approaching. After making sure he was prepared to move forwards, he'd turn to face the group. Large, pronounced ears would pivot about, independent of one another, taking in information from the sounds that Ryn would assume would only be rivaled by that of the Nautolan in an aquatic environment. His large, molten golden eyes would move from face to face, before settling on Knight O'Rourke and Knight E'ron in turn, bowing formally before the two of them, then to the group as a whole.

"Only a few of you actually have met me before, but this is the first time any of you have actually seen me. I am Padawan Ryn'Dhal. I do not know how much I will get to interact with any of you throughout this mission, as I intend to remain unseen, running recon for this operation. I strongly doubt my eyes and ears will be needed much, but I intend to take this training exercise as seriously as I can." His eyes would continually be moving from face to face, making eye-contact with each of them in turn. Those eyes, beautiful as they were, held a definitive predatory quality, a quality new to both George and Abaigeal. "If you need me, any of you, just call my name, Ryn, and I'll be to your aid with all due haste."

After a brief pause, his eyes snapped back to Abaigeal. "As this is your operation, as lax or serious as you see it, I move out on your go." Holy kark is he intense today!

Mission 1: Eocho Mountains

The Silver Sanctum shuttle head south of the equator, on the horizon the mountain range grew as they approached. Coci sat toward the back, just allowing herself to watch the interaction between the rest of the Jedi aboard. Passing shadows, told her the ship had turned and began it's approach cycle, she could sense him, her beloved and a smile broke on her face. Beastie in the cave indeed.

Close by her is [member="Polydroxol"]. Now to see if we can communicate. Coci gently reached through the force toward him, sensing is ease and lack of fear which coupled with his appearance of Theo, only created a need to protect him. Of course he is not her son, but this being is innocent. She reached to his mind through telepathy, Hello, can you .. hear me. Now we will see if this will assist the situation.

The ship touched down, on one of the plateaus within the rangers but they still had a bit of a trip to get to the cave entrance, a nice little climb that would help them build their force skills and physical strength. Coci was the first out the door, even flying this low to the ground did little to ease her nerves. Once everyone had joined her, she spoke. "Up there", she point to one of the peaks of the ranges, "Is our destination, we shall climb up".

"When you are ready please begin your climb".

Mission 1: Eocho Mountains

As the others were arriving in the distance by way of shuttle, the Valkyri Grandmaster simply sat waiting outside the entrance to the network of caves containing crystals, meditating with a small smile on his lips. He could feel her presence in the Force, ever approaching. He'd set out early that morning on foot, treading through the jungles of Ossus towards the great mountain range. No robes adorned his body this day, but instead his trusty leather jacket with a shirt underneath, a pair of cargo pants, and black boots on his feet. The weather had been moist and a bit chilly that morning, but he knew he'd make up for it during the climb itself. It was also mostly dark outside, the sun still asleep from the previous evening. Shirtless he scaled the mountainside, trusting both body and spirit to have him reach the top. Each step could prove fatal, but with careful thought and finely honed instincts the mountain proved only a minor challenge.

When he'd reached the top, beads of sweat ran down his forehead as the weather had improved significanctly, the sun crawling its way over the horizon. Thurion watched its ascension while enjoying breakfast atop the Eocho Mountains, overlooking the Jedi Temple in the distance and so much more. While nowhere near the soaring heights of Midvinter, at least here he could enjoy the sights without the risk of freezing to death. When he'd finished his meal Thurion began descending the mountain about halfway to where the entrance of the caves awaited him. His body exhausted from the climb, he then assumed meditative stance while awaiting the arrival of his wife and the group accompanying her. They would still need to ascend part of the mountainside, and so he made sure to put his shirt and jacket back on; can't have the Grandmaster appear indecent, can we?

Krux had never been the agile type, so this challenge made him feel nervous. This was an excellent opportunity to prove his worth to the other Jedi, though. A few in the crowd no doubt recognized him from when he was Sith, like the nautolan and, of course, Thurion, but that bridge had already been crossed, and as far as Krux saw, the grandmaster showed forgiveness after he had helped save his son's life on Felucia.

Krux exhaled, stepping forward first and thinking back to all of the painful, physical training he had done in his life. All he had suffered in the ranks of the Sith, this couldn't be too bad, right? This time, nobody was tossing lightning at him, too. Everyone was probably watching, this was no time to screw things up.

Krux gave a polite nod to [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] and adjusted his robes, stepping up on a rock and using the Force to leap up and grab a hold on the mountainside, struggling at first to keep a grip with his gloved hands, but managing. He grit his teeth in frustration when he looked to his right and saw how much less steep that side was compared to the wall he had climbed onto.

A challenge is always nice, right? How do I look now, Jedi, hm? Am I good enough now?! he thought, motivating himself to keep climbing.

Mission 1: Echo Mountains

Late. Well that was normal for the Zabrak. Upon entering the planet he couldn't help but marvel at the world. It's land, it's beauty. It's mines. That's right. Not only did he go off by himself, he stepped on a mine. It didn't go off, not yet at least, so while the others left he stood there, trying to figure out how to leave the mine inactive while simply leaving to rejoin the group. At least this wasn't new weaponry for Krest. With a quick application of the Force he was able to keep the pressure on and leave, though to get the right amount of pressure was the problem. Every mine around him had been blow up in an effort to figure that out.

That was his little adventure. And now he was here, looking up at the cliff face. A brow raised on his face as he watched the others ascend. So a rock climbing exercise? Well, might as well begin then.

Mission 1: Eocho Mountains

Valae walked out of the ship with a spring in her step, it had been quite a nice flight to the mountains. She smiled brightly as they approached the rocky mountainside, but the smile quickly faded when Coci announced that they would need to climb up to the entrance. ‘Climb’ The Jedi Master’s voice echoed in Valae’s mind, and as she looked up at the cave entrance, it seemed to stretch even farther into the sky. “Oh, no…” She muttered to herself, but realized that there were several of her peers about and tried to compose herself.

“How high do you think that is?” She asked to no one in particular, but then held up a hand. “Wait –I don’t want to know.” The padawan shook her head, her lips formed into a thin line.

Valae looked about nervously; she noticed that there was a stretch of mountainside that was a bit less steep and she felt hopeful. Steeling her nerves, she approached the slab of rock and looked up, trying to plan out her route. Her hands reached up and found bits of rock to establish a good grip, and she found her first foothold. Valae blew out a deep breath and began her ascent. Physical activity was one of her weakest points, but she had been working to improve… and she was very thankful for the little bit of upper body strength that she’d gained. Every step upwards was a bit more unnerving than the last; Valae could feel her limbs starting to shake.

Whimpering slightly, she clung to the side of the mountain as she paused to catch her breath. Valae chanced a look down and saw that she was approaching the half way point. She was too far to go back, and still had quite a climb ahead of her. Her eyes squeezed closed for a moment, her breaths came fast but steady as she willed herself to continue on.

Krux's knuckles started to feel stiff, his gloves were becoming worn and starting to fall apart on the rocks, a hole had been cut on the knees of his pants, and his boots were more than scuffed. This really sucked. Of all the trauma he had to suffer lately, this physical exercise was possibly the worst.

But a feeling of empathy surged through him when his eyes passed over a familiar form to his right on the mountainside. [member="Valae Kitra"] was here on the mountain?! She could hardly swing kendo properly, much less climb the side of a mountain! There was no way Krux felt she was ready for this, but the fact she was here now told him how much she has learned. Now, it felt just as important to him that she makes it to the top as he does.

"Focus, Valae!" he called over to his friend, "Remember...concentrate on now! Clear your mind of everything else! Climb with me! We'll get to the top whether your body says you will or not!". He hoped his words were a souce of guidance for her. He didnt forget how he seemed to frustrate her out in the courtyard before.

Krux blinked hard and contorted his face, continuing to climb, but now climbing more to his right to close off some of the distance between himself and Valae, taking it upon himself to help what could be his only real friend in the Coalition succeed beside himself.

He heard her plan and raised an eyebrow but stayed blank. Keeping any thoughts to himself and more interested in just see what might come of it as the padawan returned looking at him and the jedi master starred right back at him speaking after he did. "I've never seen any of you before." The blind cathar master had jokes dawg oh yeah and he didn't laugh at his own one a little saying it more as pure seriousness but allowing the jedi a chance to shine. Scouting on a jedi world was interesting but why deflate someones hopes and dreams. Speaking low but not really to anyone. "I like him he has spunk, like a puppy." There was a look but he wasn't being mean more enjoying the idea of someone being excited about doing things.

:: HERO of KORRIBAN ::
Judah watched the "playing" which was taking place between a couple of the Jedi padawans which had come along with them into the jungle. A slight chuckle escaped his lips as he just shook his head. Missions were not the time to play. Judah had managed a fair amount of "playing" at that age, but when the mission was over. Many times he and his wife had been in situations where they worked hard just to enjoy the play which came after. It wasn't about not making the mission fun, but it was about not letting your guard down and getting surprised because that happened. A warning look went to Samara.

"The mission always comes first, and never let your guard down, not even for a cute guy."

The last part might have been a bit more of the father in him, but it was the truth nonetheless. Judah never knew what her former master had taught her in the area of attachment. Perhaps it was a traditional view, yet the blonde did not seem mind the fact Judah was married, or had a son. As the two caught up to the leader of the team, Judah pondered how he was going to turn all of this into a learning opportunity later.

He smiled at the mention of a Neti. Judah had known a Neti sometime ago, and found the race to be fascinating. It was possible this "tree" they were looking for might actually still be alive and able to transform back if the desire was there.

"Samara have you ever met a Neti before," Judah asked as they caught up to the group fully. "You will find this interesting should the Neti actually grace us with its presence. All life is connected, and some connected in ways our minds cannot fully understand."

About that time there was a mention of frogs... watch out for the frogs. Why? This was really going to be interesting. It was a good thing Judah's twin hilts were on his waist. The Jar'Kai and Niman practicing Jedi was always ready for anything, and even then surprises still came.

"Be mindful of your environment, and stay vigilant."

Eocho Mountains

The shuttle landed and the others began their ascent. Anna decided that it would be best to travel the tunnel network. Long caverns filled with crystal formations. That would be fine. The air was probably thin at the top of the mountains and she didn't want to climb up the rockface directly. So she gave a shrug of her shoulders and walked into the cave formation. Maybe she would gather some items while she was there too.

Eocho Caves

It was a large bright cavern. Filled with moist air, green shrubs, and a chill in the air. There were many cracks along the rock formations which let in natural sunlight. Warming and providing food for over a dozen different types of plantlife. The rocks were gray and white. Cool and wet to the touch. With plenty of moss hanging from the ceilings. And every once and while you could catch the glimmer of a large crystal. Jutting forth brilliantly from the greenery. It was beautiful. No.

It was perfect.

Anna unslung her backpack and began examining some of the crystal formations. Mm. Attempting to compare the types and sounds of formations to the Jedi Database of the SSC Archives. She hoped to find a Pontite crystal today. But... Alas. That chances of that happening were about one in a million. Meh. Oh well.

When it raines... it pours.
Jungle Excursion

Cute guys? Well Sam hadn't had the opportunity to meet any yet so that wasn't a problem.

"Yes, Master… I will strive to always put mission first," she nodded obediently again.

As she walked through the jungle's foliage along side [member="Judah Lesan"], the young padawan began in her mind to try and name the different things in their environment. Before they had set out for this mission, Samara had gone to the library at the academy and read up on Ossus. There was much to know, but even more to find out. So the tree the group were searching for may be a Neti… Cool!

"I have never seen a Neti nor much less met a shapeshifting sentient plant before. I hope we do find one. That would be astral to do so."

Things like this really tweaked her interest… Then a mention of frogs got her attention. Samara had not read anything about the green non-senitnet amphibians being here. She wondered if Knight [member="Abaigeal E'ron"] was warning them about frog-rain…

"Always, Master, always."

Mission 2: Jungle
It was then even before Freyia could reply that Ronin had taken off for it seem. Being out here in the open jungle landscape feeling the cool breeze gently brush over him. As he scamper about climbing one the nearest treetop seem just like a child. And that once reaching the canopy top of the trees that he seem for moment. Smile as he gaze over the horizon feeling to sense , hear and just simply take in all the abundant life all round. As in that moment the unknowingly unique mix of Kashi side of him that he'd inherited from his mother and the faint ability in the force carried over from his father. Seem to harmoniously meld within him in a way as such it drew him in with such innocent curiosity at they very sight and sound of life all around him. That for moment it seem it distracted him being that in his precarious state of being though the lesson of the past seem still present. It was his knowledge and grasp of it that seem lacking to some extent. As if like sandcastle form by the sea shore that been raked over by the on come waves.

By which time with slight sigh he then stood just in time as his earlier question was answered by Master Syn. As he pass along side him in pursuit of the other female Jedi that came rushing off before them.

"The planet is old and when it was poisoned it reclaimed what the jedi had cleared away. They have never tried to clear out more then needed to show respect to the native Ysanna and it allows ancient things to remain hidden below."

To which with as the thought slowly seep into his mind and all but made him ponder for moment. That he turn his head towards him briefly before leap towards one the nearby branch. Like some lothrat scaling the uneven landscape of a not so distant city scape long lost in memory. While all around as his somewhat untrained yet close connection to the faint life all round hum in his subconscious. That he came spoke in tone and way seem out of curiosity ....without bias nor tainted with the trappings of a seem innocent mind.

" So i guess its pretty old them? And in a way i guess that is why it seem so strange how strangely wild....yet oddly familiar life seem have formed here. I guess....dunno .....it just seem kinda neat that they do."

He then with seem great care and caution as in the back his mind the thought began form. Yet never seem truly verbalized or realize in a way such that if anything else. It would seem his action could be view by those of rank in the group as mere child play. When to him it would feel like simply natural and so moving ahead it sort perspex him when from ahead one that came before them. Call and seem give fare warning of all things keep watch and mindful of frogs. But then before he could ponder further about it that from up ahead a stranger appeared to speak that sort caught his attention. A strange being of which if anything else it was his large golden molten eyes that struck him the most. For as much he knew in his brief travels of the outer territory before his chance encounter with Master Coci. He did little to meet any being like that whom stood there as he spoke and address the others. Ronin could all but quizzically glance at him and wonder. If anything for one what kind of being he was and why all of the sudden he could help but feel and oddly strange uncertainty yet distant about him. That for what its worth made him all bit try take a second look at him thought before he could. The stranger seem to depart and dissipate in the landscape before them just as quickly he'd appear.

At any rate keep a mindful yet distant eye on all that he figured was in the group. As well try heed the warning about frogs that ronin slowly began move on. Following as close he could with the other....as all around him the ebbing wave of life and all its seem wild trappings came to bombard his sense. In a way that unprepared as he was to make sense of it or block one from the other. That for moment he seem fall back and feel oddly cautious as in the back his mind. Some distant memory seem begging to want be seen or form. And yet like mist or water upon a dry sand it barely stay there out of sight.

That no sooner had he leap to the next branch and lay his hand onto the tree bark. That it seem to apparently shift and shake a bit seem as if it was alive. That it was only with seem quick thinking that Ronin was able grab hold of a nearby low lying branch of sort and hold on for dear life.

" What the...."

Was all he could utter as the seem odd tree turn and shift ....for it seem he unknowingly came to land on one the few planet sentry lifeforms. One which could been that which one the other Jedi had spoken of earlier.

Mission 2: Ossus Jungles.

The air is thick with moisture from the humidity of the jungle. Abaigeal's body began to show signs of sweat on her shirt because of it, they had not gone far so had not expended much energy to form physical exertion but that would come. The jungles of Ossus would demand it. Up ahead, the sound of running water, a small brook that fed a pool to service creatures that lived in the tree canopies or on the ground, the atmosphere here buzzed with insect life a constant din of noise, the force is strong here, the living force. Abaigeal looked up with a smile, "Master Lesan is correct. Please be alert to all things here", she pointed into the far reaches of the canopy over head. "There ... the frogs of Ossus". Croaking in the tops of the trees are large multi-coloured frogs. "They are troublesome, especially to ships, they are attracted to them for some reason. It is my understanding they are not poisonous however if you get one on you they are difficult to get off, they are very sticky". In this location there is a large population of them all happily watching the passersby. Disturb them however, and the group will find themselves covered in them.

"Master Lesan I don't believe we have ever met, I am Abaigeal E'ron Knight of the Silver Sanctum", she bowed in respect to the master Jedi. "Nor your Padawan, greetings", equally, she bowed to Samara as well. "I think we should move forward now, the path ahead is this way". Abaigeal headed toward the sound of the brook.

It was hard going, the foliage thick and needed to the either cut or pushed back to make a way through. She wiped sweat from her brow with the back of her hand, tugged on her shirt to allow air to her skin to try and cool. But soon the group would find themselves in a small clearing in which housed the pool of water, on the side it stands ancient ruins of the Jedi.

92f58dac8d40d9888329557345341238.jpg
No doubt the Jedi Order had found and explored this ruin. There is a sense of the force around it, the lightside filled the every walls and yet there is a presence here, she could sense it, it was neither malicious or good, but sat with an innate sense of the wild, it is a creature of some kind living in it's natural state. However, Abaigeal had no interest in the ruins, but if those with her are incline to the interest of the ruins they may wish to explore them.

Hello, can you .. hear me.

The sudden communication was both startling and welcome.

It was not through an electronic medium, but the telepathic message was rather similar to how electrical transmissions flowed between polydroxol in their communal 'lakes' of liquid metal. At the same time, its mind was likely to seem rather abstract or chaotic. The polydroxol didn't think in concrete terms, or familiar ideas. Everything was freely flowing, without any frame of reference for what it was being exposed to.

Trees. People. A living environment. These things didn't exist on the world where the polydroxol was from, so it was very much a brave new world. Greetings and salutations, stalk-walker of the Jedi people persons, the being answered. It was not a cohesive response. Not one in words anyway. The message was relayed through more a series of images or impressions.

Are you The Coci?

As the group began ascending the mountain, the polydroxol just stood there. It's head moved as the silvery creature seemed to contemplate the similarities between this environment and the one in which it had first met The Coci. Melting, the soft denantium flowered back into a puddle before re-forming into the shape of a ground squirrel -- albeit a silver one with a jagged metal tail. Bounding forward, the small creature began hopping up through the paths, and darting along the ground.

Welcome to the Jungle

Even as they went along she got lost in the many hours in her books that she read of this place what it had to offer. Even with her being way out of her place came something more to hte front of her mind. Wanting nothing more then to turn back but seeing that had already board the shulte taking her along. Giving in that she didn't look up much or see who was there the voice she heard was very easy to follow. Wasn't one to butt in to other people. So her listening skills always came in the best in these situation. Even so using he force to aid her to sort through all the talk going on around her.

Stopping now as she pause for a few second what was it about that voice that brought her eyes slowing lifting upwards. There was her answer it was [member="Ronin Wendigo"] giving a way of a bit of heat to her cheek. As to there last adventure or would it be misphs either way it wasn't like she got home very late. After all her mother was still way, and it seem that the Master with all the padawns that had been coming in. Being lose in the sea of Voss was great at time. That is until you started to run out of ink or paper.

Getting up what she could call courage that was now flowing freely in her vane. "Well aren't you a site for my eyes." as she try to not blush or even look at his eyes. Wanting more then anything to know that he had gotten her back with her mother [member="Maya Whitelight"] had gotten bakc onher long trip. She should be used to them by now but each one bother if she was going on her last or somehting would happpen to her in that s. Looking at [member="Ronin Wendigo"] as she finally look up at him, while she started to cross the water, as she didn't say much. "So you still looking things up at the archive back home on Voss."

Mission 2: Jungle

It was then before he knew it Ronin fell backwards and flat on his back. Thought lucky in a way he somehow landed in some thick bushes that cushion his fall rather than hard ground. Or worse the frogs by the lake up ahead that he'd been warn about. But then as he slowly tried stand having rolled off the bush back to solid ground. Slightly brush the foliage pieces off him that from up ahead an all too familiar voice spoke. That made him immediately look up and with beam smile and slight gleam in those jade green eyes as look listen her speak.

"Well aren't you a site for my eyes."

In which time with sheepish grin Ronin turn her speak.

" Back at yah ..... Freyia right? Yeah well seem i may be ending up have do extra time reading up when we get back...."

It was then come close to her side and looking deeply into her eyes as he did feel sense of same familiarity with her. While in back his mind their sort earlier misadventure or adventure that pair embarked on not too long ago seem still fresh in his mind. How lucky it was that he'd been able get her home somehow before anyone was even the wiser. To what really happened on their little trip out....at any rate with smile she soon replied.

"So you still looking things up at the archive back home on Voss."

And he in turn raise a hand rub behind nape his neck. In seem familiar mannerism when he was caught off guard or what by those he knew.

"Well sort of.....but then it seem may need bit more work on that. Any way so want give it a try and try catch up with the others? But don't worry i'll be right here with you and in fact....tell you what i think it be best we get up there and try figure out where we are....or how far off they are now."

His hand then points strait up at the tree tops before turn his attention back to her,

"So you ready?"

Before answer shot out of her lips a bit of laughter came from her lips. Knowing that this was a sight to be hold. "Hey at less you didn't end up in the water this time." as she just beam with laughter. Even so she couldn't help but look at him knowing that it seem that his pride was hurt more then anything else on him. Even so she couldn't help but look up to the trees that he had waved his hand at. "To bad I didn't bring Fido with me that been real fun." how every it seem that there was not more bring Fido until he was more house broken or her powers of Animal friendship had grown that she could control him better. As she widen her smirk, as she thought about the creatures that lived in these jungle.

"So you want to climb, careful you might just regret this " as she waited until she got ready. Even looking up before she once again looked at him. In a way this should be lots of fun. By the means that there should be something more then just bragging rights. "So what I get out of it if I win, if you win." as after all it was him that wanted to do this little tree climbing adventures. To bad those cute little ewokes wasn't on this planet after all she heard that they was the tree builder.

Mission 1: Eocho Mountains

Greetings and salutations, stalk-walker of the Jedi people persons, are you The Coci?

She turned her face to the Polydroxol, the sense of relief he would feel and yet she smiled 'hearing' him for the first time. It was more a sense of his communication rather then throughts or words, like most telepathic communications, it was all encompassing in the mind very different to anything Coci had experienced before. A good lesson for all Jedi, let alone Padawans, is that the journey of knowledge never ends, even masters learn on a daily bases. Although Coci had used conventional means of telepathy to speak, she would try something different herself, never be afraid to test things to push the envelop as they say.

Coci expanded her mind, opening up further to allow him to 'see' her thoughts and experience her emotions .. I am .. the Coci .. what are you? his use of 'words' different and so by asking 'what' he was, she was asking for this name. If this was all she got from him today, that would be enough, they could explore this new found communication in private and with her full attention. There was still a mission to complete. Coci is not sure if this unique being would understand the concept of a name, but they must start somewhere.

But the Polydroxol melt once again, so she understood she had not been successful in her reply, she smiled watching him transform once more and begin to climb. hmmm I feel like a padawan again .. Good, it is a good reminder that masters are not all powerful and know answers immediately.

Her attention is taken back to the group, the most of them scaling the side of the mountain, she looked checking that all was well but Valae seemed to be have troubles. At least Knight Mullarus was with her and able to assist. However, Coci will remain below until they are all safe, just in case they fall .. she will catch them. Why on this good green planet do they not Jedi Jump? because you told them to climb .. she answered her own question.

So while she waited below Coci decided to amuse herself with teasing her beloved. Hey, wake up! this is no time for a nap .. you have company. This message projected to [member="Thurion Heavenshield"] now 'meditating' at the open of the cave in which they would all venture into soon, and pumping along the force bond, her love for him.

Mission 1: Eocho Mountains

Somewhere in the back of her mind she could hear Krux’s voice calling out to her, but she was trying hard to focus. Valae didn’t dare try to respond to him, as it would break her concentration. She let the task at hand become her only thought ‘get up the mountain’. The padawan had been practicing meditation and it was getting easier for her to connect with the force, but she wasn’t quite to the point where it felt natural. She had to admit that she was not in an ideal place to practice meditation now, but she needed to do something in order to get to the cave. Valae let her mind go silent, she felt herself passing into a state of calm, and the fear and the panic began to ease.

With each breath in she gathered the force to her, and started to focus the energy where she needed it most. Gradually she felt the strength in her legs and arms returning with new vigor. Valae turned her gaze upward and she reached up once more to continue her climb. It was difficult, but she didn’t let her concentration waver, and she maintained her connection with the force. The sole of her boots pushed against her footholds, and Valae began to make more progress up the mountainside. Every now and then she paused to catch her breath; the ledge by the cave was growing closer each time. Any time she felt unsteady, she worked to draw the force to her again, using the energy to aid her endurance just a bit.

When the ledge was finally within her reach, her hands found it and she took a deep breath in. With a final push, she used the force to help boost her up and over. It was a feat that she had never accomplished before. Valae collapsed against the ground before the cave and was so very thankful for a solid surface beneath her. She rolled over onto her back; a smile broke onto her face and grew into laughter. Valae looked up at the sky and let herself enjoy this moment of triumph. The padawan noticed her Master’s presence there by the cave, and she quickly stood up to greet him.

“Good morning, Master.” Valae smiled at Thurion, still a bit breathless.
