A low scoff was given. The woman, the shooter... her presence seemed
off. Not light, but not quite the same
dark as the Sith he'd encountered in the past. Regardless, he had two Knights requesting he return to aid the giant spider. One of the greatest giftings in the
Force he had, was the arts of Healing as trained by his Master. Stern, and strict, as she was, her lessons were not lost on her padawan.
Seeming to vanish into the canopy, his movements masked by both his natural grace and agility, and the branches and foliage, it seems almost as if he were never there to begin with. Moment later, he would descend from the tree-tops, near the writhing arachnid. He'd reach out,
feeling with the
Force, giving calming sensations towards the spider. He made sure to close himself off, allowing the transfer to be only one way, preventing the creatures fear and pain from being projected into his own mind. After getting the beast to no longer recoil from his approach, Ryn'Dhal cautiously maneuver to where he could place his hands against the creature, near the impact-site.
He knew nothing of arachnid anatomy, so he began reaching through the
Force,
sensing the various organs that were still in-tact, and mentally
mapping the creature. He then exerted his
will even harder,
reaching further out,
seeking any other arachnid life-forms, so as to
examine a 'whole' specimen. The
Force was on his side this day, as a significantly smaller variant lurked in it's webbing in a tree far over-head, presently enjoying a juicy flying insect as a meal. A quick scan helped Ryn to be able to try to fill the blanks in the giant spider.
It wasn't a perfect knowledge, but it was enough to bring it close enough to complete, to where the
Force could then take it and push it the rest of the way to completion. The hard part was done, now came the tenacious part. Thankfully for the giant spider, there were few that would ever be able to match the sheer stubborn will and endurance of Ryn'Dhal. Then again, there were few that have endured the years of torturous abuse and unceasing labor-camps that the felinoid endured in his time as a slave.
The
Force welled up within him, and broke forth from his being, like a dam being burst, the
Lightside flowing freely into the massive arachnid. Miracles
did happen, when a practitioner of the Healing Arts was able to weave the
Force uninhibited, as a conduit, especially on a
Lightside world such as this one. Tissue began stitching together, arteries and veins, and other such squishy bits. The carapace began to seal, growing back into place. Over the source of many,
many, minutes the wound would be well on the way to healing. The great arachnid was stabilized, and no longer in danger of death. In fact it was ready to get up and move. The
Force would continue it's work for a while, even after the furry-padawan broke physical contact, to finish the healing.
Rather than wait to see if the spider would attempt to discern whether or not it's savior was tasty, Ryn'Dhal would dart away, seeking refuge in the heights of the tree, his natural agility providing swift escape from potential harm. From his perch, invisible to all those below, and with his
Force Presence restricted to the best of his meager ability, he'd likely be hard to spot at the moment by the uninitiated. From there, he'd watch, observing the spider. Perhaps this trip was going to be worthwhile after all.....
