Easter Twi'lek Hunt

Vull nodded back at Juthan, knowing that he had requested Vull to keep the fact that they were here together a secret. "Fairly boring sssso far, how about you?"

Zorskka's eyes narrowed as the credits were slid to the droid. Whoever this woman was, she sure was confident in herself, not many people would have the nerve to call a trandoshan a reptoid. Vull couldn't decide whether she was cocky or just foolish. Either way, he was getting a free buy-in to the game, allowing him to pursue some of the information he was after.

"Sssso, what brings you to Nar Sssshaddaa, if you don't mind me assssking?" Vull asks as he looks at his fairly decent hand.

An offer of friendship... A likely story. At least, that's how Suhr thought right now. Nar Shaddaa was no place for impromtu friends, but... Well, he did say he knew Rosco, and Rosco had gotten her out of that bind with the Wookiee and the smuggler a while ago... She found herself becoming more and more curious as to what this particular male wanted, but her thoughts also drifted back to the game of cards. Something didn't sit right with it, and she knew that she'd have to work out who sent that message at some point or another. Maybe she'd ask Ros if he could do her a favor...
"Not the first time that's happened tonight, Josiah... And I don't mean the "casual chat" offer. I tell you what, go get a drink from Rosco. Ask him to keep an eye on that card table too for me, would you? I've got an ill feeling about it. Like there's something there. I don't know. If you'll do that, you've got your chat."
Suhr looked concerned. She'd had people come and talk to her before, but they always wanted something, and not all of it was pleasant. Yet she'd not had anyone try and meet her mind with the Force for at least half of the year she'd been coming here, and even then it was obvious who was doing it and why. All of this sliding about in the shadows... It didn't bode well. She had a bad feeling about this.
The way Josiah spoke sat strangely with Suhr too, like he was some kind of... No... He couldn't be. A Jedi? Here? She tried to keep her emotions under control, just like Master Kytra had taught her to. She shouldn't, wouldn't, and couldn't afford to get her hopes up - After all, she'd heard of Sith pretending to be Jedi in order to set up ambushes before. Still though - He was sensitive to the Force, she knew it from what he'd said, and how he reacted. Maybe if he was a Jedi... Feth, she could be going back to Coruscant!
The thoughts began to run wild in her head, and she evidently struggled to keep a look of hope creeping across her face...

haven looked down at her own hand and motions for a card to be given to her, the droid slides the card with apparent confusion and she reviews her hand and almost gives off her hand but controls her own immediate anxiety, she had a seriously loserific hand since she had nothing at all, all these damn cards and you get the lowest score, kriffing kath hound her mind insulted her and sh looked at the droid and dicarded, she then looked at the reptoid not getting who his question was to and then placed her hand on the table and with a slid of her hand she retireved a hidden card that gave her a good hand while replacing it with her original in her sleeve.

luckily nobody saw you, not even the rusted bucket of bolts her mind scoffed at her.

There were certain perks which came with having Zeltron blood flowing through one's veins. Amongst these were the ability to read emotions, almost as if reading letters on a datapad. As such, as the woman's emotions fluctuated from worry to under control and back again, the Templar thought it the opportune moment to lay all his cards on the table. He didn't know if this would put the woman at ease, but he wanted her to know that she was in the presence of one who wasn't about to cart her off, kicking and screaming, to a prison cell somewhere.

"Consider it done, but before I go," he began, looking her dead in the eye, "there are somethings about me you should know. First and foremost, as I'm sure you are aware, I am a wielder of the Force. I am a member of the Templar Order: the congregation of Force wielders that call the Confederacy of Independent Systems home. I am no cop, no Jedi, no Sith, nor anything in-between. I came here tonight to see an old friend, our mutual friend, and catch up on old times...yet now it seems the cantina's alive with the Force and it's making my skin crawl."

"Judging from what you just said, you can feel the Force too...so I'll be back with a drink, and let's have a chat. I'm sure you'll want to know about the Templars...and if I can sniff out where these Force signatures are coming from."

With that said, the Knight strode coolly over to the bar and leaned upon the counter. He pretended, expertly, as if all was well and procured a drink from his old friend; but not before requesting the man keep an eye on the table as requested. Upon his return, Josiah seated himself across from the woman and took a sip from his drink, relishing in the burn as it went down.

"Ah! So...Chat? What's your name, for starters..."

Not knowing whether the woman had heard him over the din of the cantina, Vull addressed her again.

"What businessss brings you to Nar Ssshaddaa missss?"

(Last post for 4-5 hours, got to head to work.)

Grinned and looked back at Haven, before folding, "Im out this round." He leaned back in his chair and watched the game while he waited for the next round, glancing at the ceiling where the Qom Jha sat hidden in the shadows. "I was wondering the same thing miss, if you dont mind my asking."

Haven watched out of the corner of her eye as the male at the table wandered to the bar and talked with him she decided to hide her aura and then stopped with her stealth tactics to gain the upper hand, she made no move to let anyone know she was watching and kept her attention to the cards as she heard the trando ask his question.

I'm here merely for the sabaac, what about you? she asked with a friendly and confident tone to her voice all the while paying close attention to her surroundings without letting it know, she then looked at the dealer and smirked, it gave off a more confused facial expression and shrugged and then waited for the others to request cards or whatnot.

Vull, slightly annoyed by the obvious deflection of his question, answered her question without giving any important details.

"I'm a mercenary, here to meet my client and recieve my orderssss."

In reality, Vull was being employed by Juthan as his personal bodyguard. That wasn't something Jut wanted public, so Zorskka left it out. "Now that I've ssshared my reasonsss for being here, how about you elaborate a little more. It'ssss only fair." Vull motions to the droid for another card. He picks it up and looks at the card that now gives him an almost perfect hand.

haven was nearly to the taking the hand, especially with the ace in her hand that she steatthily acquired only moments before the male walked to the bar and talked with the bar keep, as she heard the reptile ask her again she smirked and then laid down a card and motioned for the dealer to hand her another, she took it and found she now had an almost perfect hand... the pot was nearing to her and she would indeed get it.

As she kept paying attention to her cards she relaxed a bit and then responded to the question I am bored since i have made my delivery for the night and thought it would be nice to sit down to sabaac she said hiding her deception and peering over her cards at him.

Realizing the woman wouldn't give him any more info on why she was here, he tried a different approach.

"What kind of work do you do then? Are thesssse deliveries perhapsss a little less than legal?"

The last card that Vull receives from the droid gives him a perfect hand. Despite this, he waits for the woman, allowing her to make the first bet, making sure to not rush anything as to give him more time to get information from her.

A young seemingly very tired and nervous male enters the cantina, he would be slowly looking around seeing who's there, he walks to the corner in his tattered black and blue clothing and sits at a table alone, looking around at everybody. Anyone that was force sensitive would feel the aura of fear and exaustion that was dripping off him, and would feel the supressed force sensitivity inside him that he was trying unsuccessfully to hide

Haven was appreciating the attention she was garnering from the trando and smirked at the droid while placing a card down and motioning for another, she then placed the card in her hand and found she had a pure sabaac, lucky odds and then she looked at the trando and him a playful smirk I deliver medical items to small, remote worlds... tonight I had to do a rush delivery on a heart for a patient she said while being, once again, deceptive and then grabbed a couple chips and tossed them into the betting circle... they were worth a measley 10 credits a piece, she did so as a rouse to get the trando's mind to grow with excitement since it could be taken as a gesture she has a crappy hand, or she 'thinks" he hand is a good one.

She sat thinking about what he'd had to say. A Templar. What the feth was a Templar when it was at home. Corellian hell, what the feth was a Templar when it wasn't at home?! Force users, right. This didn't sit right, and it worried her further. So much so, that by the time the Templar had returned to the seat he realised that he wasn't sat next to Suhr at all. She'd bolted. Out of the corner of his eye, perhaps, he, or the woman playing cards, or even the bartender, Rosco may have seen the fluttering of her robes move around the corner - She didn't know if he'd seen her or not, but she didn't care. At this point, the first thing she could think of was getting to the safehouse. Not even a Jedi could get into there - Force knows they'd tried.
She turned corner after corner, hoping that she could shake the Templar, but to a trained Force Sensitive, and one with the blood of Zeltros in their veins, sensing where she was might not have been all that of an issue.

Her mind was reeling. This had spooked her.

Haven watches as the girl bolts and the looks toward her femme fatales that are siting in a back booth and nods for them to chase after her, they wouldn't hurt her but merely track her and as haven looked at the trando as her female companions ran off she smirked and then laid her cards on the table and then stood, looking at the droid she smirked Well it appears the trando won this one, have a great time she replied to it and then went to leave.

As she did she got on her comm and radioed ahead Arsenal, keep track of that girl.... our payout is dependent on capturing her dead or alive she said as she quickly got out of the cantina, she kept her voice low so only her femme fatales could hear her and she continued to walk on knowing the girls were tracking her movements.

Suhr barely clocks the apprentice she ran past, in her haste for freedom. She soon makes it out onto the balcony of the upper promenade, and takes a moment to gather her composure in a disused alcove of some store or another that's under repair. Damned if anything is catching me... Once she caught her breath, she was off again, moving swiftly, but no longer running along the concourse - She could see her destination just past the Force-awful statue of the Hutt. Suhr intended to make a loop around the top of the concourse, and then slip to the lower level so that she could dip into the so called "smugglers bar" Cytheria had showed her, and get into a vaguely hidden Turbolift that would take her down to a lesser used taxi rank. If the Templar was still following her, she was sure that she'd be able to throw him off - But still, she didn't want to take any chances.
Suhr sensed through the Force that something, although she didn't know who or what, was keeping an eye on her...

Vull stands up and pulls the woman aside before she can leave.

Vull still didn't believe that this woman was telling him the full truth. However, from her attitude, she seemed like someone that could handle herself. It wouldn't hurt to see if she'd be interested in joining Juthan and Vull, at least until they could figure out what was up with her. "Alright, lisssten," the transdoshan said in a hushed voice "I'm currently working as bodyguard for that Chissss that approached you just a moment ago. He's on ssssome mission and assssked me to tag along for 'protection'. It sssounded pretty important, so I've been trying to find otherssss to assist ussss. Do you have any combat experience?"

Would have been running now trying to catch up to @Suhr looks around and he realizes he is lost "Great.." he slows down not knowing where to go or what to do, he would reach out in the force trying to make contact with any force users around him, hoping theres a friendly one around.
