Easter Twi'lek Hunt

Juthan glanced at Cronos, smiling. "Why i hope i am one, am i?" He glanced at Haven, then to the ceiling like before and nodding slightly. "Either way, its good to see you again miss." He let his eyes wander to the twilek he had approached earlier, watching them while he waited for a response, expecting something to happen.

She chuckled at the inclination of her threatening him, and she gave a more sultry smile to him to offset the balance a little, she then found the chiss she had left a note for come to the table and then found the white haired villain once again trying to play it friendly I don't recall if I have ever seen him before she said and then flashed the chiss a smile Once again I am at a loss, Mr? she said and then turned her mind on the echani If I were to threaten you would never have known it, now if you'd be kind and be a gent by forfeiting this hand I'd be a lady and show you to the door her telepathic voice became more flirtacious as it beamed to him and then she waited for both their replies.

Juthan laughed, "I did forget to introduce myself before, Im Juthan'athar'rowdo. You can just call me Justin, that should be easier to say in basic." He looked at the man beside him, watching him for a moment, studying him. "Whats your name miss?" The question was pointed at Haven, even though he smiled at Cronos as he said it.

She smirked playfully at "Justin" and then put her attention to him Kayla Thorne she admitted and then turned her attention back to the male that she had been having such a nice conversation with, the music had died down a lot and then a waitress came over, a gorgeous looking twi'lek in a scantily clad school girl outfit.. haven glared at her and then decided she would order Excuse me miss, but might I get a cortyyg whiskey, bottle full and get my mates some drinks as well? she asked with a playful grin and then waited for the others to order.

(OOC: By the way, I didn't say that aloud for you to hear, Juthan. That was telepathy.)
(P.S. - I think people are a bit confused. Suhr is at another establishment, some sort of Casino.)

She smiled suggestively in response to my words, and along with an inkling of suspicion, I felt something else stirring in my gut, something not at all unpleasant; something like desire.

I don't recall if I have ever seen him before.

So, not a friend then. Her words conflicted with his, however -- his address of her spoke of some familiarity, even in passing. She didn't know his name though, and that too was revealing. They had met at least once before, perhaps in this very same cantina, and it most likely was not a memorable meeting. Not for her, at least.

If I were to threaten you would never have known it, now if you'd be kind and be a gent by forfeiting this hand I'd be a lady and show you to the door.
Her tone was positively lascivious, and against my better judgement, I placed my cards face down on the table, forfeiting my hand. For all my strength, I had my weaknesses, and women were one of them. They were, as a whole perhaps the most astounding creatures in the entire universe. That, and I couldn't help but admire her boldness.

The Chiss introduced himself as Juthan'athar'rowdo, amending that to simply 'Justin'. He smiled at me, but I didn't bother to return it -- my attentions lie entirely on the blond sitting across from me. Tryppe, in turn, told him her name was 'Kayla Thorne', and I noted the similarities inherent in the last names she had supplied. Which was the truth?

Who are you really, Miss 'Tryppe'? Or should I call you Kayla? I accepted her offer of drinks and mirrored her order, unfamiliar with the many different alcoholic beverages available.

She looked at both males and collected the pot and in return she revealed a simple nothing to them both, the chiss was blowing her cover and the echani was now simply acting as if he was beginning to be under a spell, the waitress walked away and Haven's eyes fell on the curves of the twi'lek and then back to them boys... she then looked at the chiss with a more business like expression So far no complaints, you? she asked and then telepathically responded to the echani I am many people, not one of them is who I truly can or cannot become she said and then moved her leg under the table and placed it over her other trying to get more comfortable, she thought she had brushed against the echani's leg but was uncertain and flashed him a smirk.

Juthan leaned forward with his elbows on the edge of the table, his hands clasped together and fingers interlocked. He raised a brow hearing the man speak. "Well it hasnt been bad, but good isnt the right word either. Ill just say its been a fair day." He looked up at the ceiling and nodded again before returning his attention back to the two. He looked over his cards as they talked and while he waited.

Would be wandering around the promenade being helplessly lost since he's never been on this planet before he walks around looking for any familiar landmarks, as he sees none he sits down dejectedly against a wall and looks about, he would lessen his grip on the force and spread his aura out slightly, searching the promenade for any force user he could contact about helping him find his way.

His first answer simply asked more questions for Suhr. She wondered which paths he had stepped down, and if he had been exactly the same as her when he was her age. More than likely he hadn't had the same life - but the same mindset, perhaps? These questions sat on the tip of her tongue, poised to strike at a moment’s notice. They were written all over her face, yet instead of letting them pounce and tumble forwards for no reason other than sheer curiosity, Suhr simply smiled warmly at him. The Twi'lek paused for a moment, and phrased another question at him...

"So how do you know Rosco?"

A simple question, but one that would give her time to think. Time to gather her thoughts. Only those thoughts kept drifting back to the bounty hunter - it was as though she had been placed under a spell. One question kept recurring. Why. Why would she chase Suhr - and even more confusing, why would she approach with cuffs and a shock collar? Maybe she worked for the Hutts, and saw the scar on her cheek, the one that branded her as a slave, or former slave and sought some quick credits... Not likely - she hadn't seen her face until they spoke in person.

"I want to say yes, and go with you," Suhr began, "But I need to know more about that bounty hunter first, or I'll never stop looking over my shoulder."

That should do the trick, she thought to herself. If he knows Rosco from the slopes then he's going to be trustworthy, ish, and if he let her find the hunter... Well. It would be great evidence to back up her words, at least in Suhr's mind.

By no means was the Templar a prophet, by any stretch of the word, however it was easy for him to tell that the woman was biting back a tide of questions. Of course, this was to be expected; as Josiah literally talked the ear off of the Order's leader when he first joined. So, he took a sip of his rather excellent water and smiled, awaiting an army of inquiries to be made. However, to his surprise, there was but first a single, simple question.

"Ha," he began, taking another sip, "that is a long story...Years back, I lost my parents. My mother worked at one of diners around these parts and...was killed by a drunken member of the Hutt Cartel. When my father found out, he flew into a rage and killed the guy; but even a former Jedi isn't a match against the entire Cartel. They beat him to death and left his body in an alley."

"So the reality was that I, the oldest of three, had to look out for my younger siblings; and to do that I needed to make some credits. I didn't want to do the typical thing and start running Spice on the corners...so I asked one of my mother's former co-workers from her dancing days for help. That was Rosco, and he set me up with a well-paying gig as a bartender. When I left Nar Shaddaa, he promised me that he'd look after my siblings as well...so I owe Rosco quite a bit."

Once he had said his piece, he hearkened to everything else that the woman had stated. The Knight regarded her words with a nod, completely understanding. "Well, you've officially got back up...and I don't think that dealing with this individual should be too hard. Money talks, and I'm sure that if the price is right, you won't have to look over your shoulder. So, shall we be off?"

Looks around still, seeing nobody around who could help he gets up again and wanders off hoping to find a speeder pad. He places his hand inside his tattered tunic gripping the blaster as he uses the force to sense around him, using it as a precaution incase somebody tried to attack him so that he would know.

She bunched her nose up ever so slightly - The thought of a Jedi loosing it was a scary prospect. From what she had seen, when they were calm they were lethal... But angry? Force, she hoped she'd never truly see an angry Jedi draw a lightsaber in her lifetime. Some things were best left alone.

"I hope your family has been safe... There's been some pretty brutal scuffles in the lower areas recently."

It was all she managed to say. It was all she could say. Family was a sore subject for Suhr - She still hadn't been able to track down the location of her mother. She could be alive. She could be de-... No. It wasn't worth thinking about. Such things are emotional distractions, that's what Master Kytra used to say. And he was right, all of the time. At least that's what Suhr thought.
She sighed. There were too many thoughts to think about this - She'd have to save them for a quieter time, and most certainly a quieter place. Nar Shaddaa was never a place for internal reflection. Introversion was a bad thing here - Only true extroverts could survive and enjoy themselves at the same time... But she was distracting herself now. She needed to focus. Focus, Suhr. Focus. This Templar, Josiah, he said he was here to help. He said he would help. He knows Rosco.
She didn't know if his story about family was true or not, but she had nothing to loose. Her mouth opened, and words fell out without needing to be thought about.

"If you're really willing to help, the last place I saw them was the Promenade. They could have gone back to the Slopes, but they could have gone anywhere."

She took a long sip of the Tythonian Spring Water, enjoying the cool texture of the water while it slid down the back of her throat. She'd set herself up here. And the Templar. And the Bounty Hunter. If he really wanted to help, she was sure he'd deal with her and Suhr would get her answers. If the bounty hunter went for the Templar and he started to loose, well... Then they'd be too distracted to notice one Twi'lek stowing away on the next transport to Dromund Kaas. She wasn't a fan of the planet, but the spaceport there was well connected to the rest of the Sith Empire, and she could easily slip from one location to the next until she found somewhere to settle.
Suhr was calm. She had a plan, and a backup plan.

"Well," began the Templar in response, "fortune has smiled upon my family lately. My younger brother has gone off to sign up with the Atrisian Empire, and my little sister has joined the Templars with me. So, I am happy to say that we are all off Nar Shaddaa; though I sometimes do miss the puffcakes...In any case.." The Knight broke off in order to finish off the rest of his water. In all honesty, it was the best he had ever consumed in his life. Maybe it was because it was imported from the birthplace of all Force traditions, maybe it was because he was thirsty, or maybe it was because the water he had grown up with on Nar Shaddaa was below sup-par quality.

Nonetheless, once the glass was emptied a satisfied "ah" escaped his lips and he continued on. "I'll be more than happy to assist you as best I can. The fortunate thing is, now that you've voiced...an interest in getting to know the Templars better, I can make sure that your bounty is wiped clean and that you get out of this ordeal without so much as a scratch." He smiled warmly, and his confidence was so evident that it seemed to bleed from every pore on his body. "After you miss...by the way, what is your name?"

Suhr noted how confident he seemed to be. Confidence was dangerous in a man, especially some Templar thing. She still wasn't entirely sure what they were meant to be, but she knew that they didn't mean her any harm... Well. At least she thought they didn't mean her any harm. Did they mean her harm? She'd have to find out, but that'd take time. There was something about Josiah that she couldn't put her finger on - It was as though every moment he stood near her, she found him more appealing. She shook her head slightly, shaking the thoughts from her mind. No. Focused, stay focused.

"I see..." She paused for a moment, running the idea of having all traces of her eradicated. It'd certainly be interesting to disappear again. "Well, we shouldn't tarry. The next transport back to the promenade is roughly five minutes from now, and it's a six minute walk." It wasn't, and the walk was quicker if you knew which corridor to take, but she didn't think he'd know that. After all, it sounded like he'd spent all his time in the lower sections, amid the muck. "Oh and the name's Ren by the way."
Suhr smiled at him warmly - it wa sa lie she'd told countless times, and one that came easily to her tongue. If he was everything he said he was, then she'd tell him her real name. Well. Not her real real name. But the one she went by. That'd do. "Ren" finished her drink, and set the glass back on the table. She slid a few credits over to the barstaff, maybe enough to cover the drink, maybe not. She had no intention of staying to find out. Before the barstaff was done counting the credits, Suhr had moved off the seat and round the corner - Josiah would have to play catchup again if he wanted to help.

He would walk up the big golden statue of the hutt staring up at it having found his way back to the centre he sits on a bench looking around. Still not sure where to go or what to do after the whole fiasco with the twi'lek and the pirate girl he takes out his datapad and opens up a holonovel on it, he would start reading a book titled Basic ways of the force for the Quinn family, by Jedi Master Gillead Quinn.

Juthan looked back up, "By the way miss, can i just call you Kayla?" He seemed to once more look up, a slight shake of his head presented itself before he looked back down @[member="Haven Pryde"], a smile across his face as he raised the bet. Above the game sitting in the shadows was the Qom Jha that had been traveling with Juthan, watching the other's cards for him. Juthan's hand was a complete bluff as he raised the bet by a large sum, his face betraying no hints what so ever of lying.

Suddenly her ear piece echoes with stirring voices and she heard her comrades informing her of the girls movements and the fact she was with another, from the looks of it possibly a Templar but one could never be too sure, Haven, being a Prophet was one that was not akin to having to deal combat damage to another force user but if she needed to she would damage the others internal systems in a fight and knab her target, dead or alive..

The hutts pay a pretty credit for runaway slaves and this one was no different, she would be getting her pay or else it will be the ruining of body parts, as she sat there she responded in kind continue to watch her, tell me where she is going she then looked at "Justin" and pay more chips and then heard the faint clatter of an old friend at the bar, a duros with a serious attitude Krif! Karter is here she mumbled under her breath, last thing she heard of him was that he turned coat and became a federal marshal.

Ren.

The Templar understood the "game" and respected it. There was a large possibility that the name the Twi'lek had provided was false, and for good reason. Honesty implied trust, and in this moment of time that was something that Josiah could understand there being a lack of. "Very well," he said, nodding as she laid the credits on the counter, "lead the way Ren." And lead she did, with steps rather quick in pace. The Knight had to literally jog from his stool at the bar in order to catch up with her when she rounded the corner, but found no difficulty in keeping apace with her.

"Hopefully," he said, "we can use what defines bounty hunters against her. She's after you for a price; I surmise that I'll just have to offer her a bigger price and that should be the end of it. Of course, if that doesn't...then, if you'd like, I can make a big enough distraction that you'll be able to slip away. In the event that it happens, head south from this moon to Confederate space. Tell them Josiah sent you and you'll be safe. This I can guarantee. If you bump into any officers on the way off this rock, tell them that you're with the Templars of the Confederacy; I doubt they'll want to risk an international incident with their larger, southern neighbor over detaining you."

With that said, he continued to walk alongside the Twi'lek, debating possible courses of action in his head. He knew that, if push came to shove, the owners of Nar Shaddaa, and members of the various factions that frequented it, wouldn't risk straining international relations over a bounty. As such, he was rather optimistic about that which laid ahead, but even so proceeded with his guard up.
