That was awesome and oh I never even thought about what they could do with the technology for the prequels with the Falcon... Now it can really live up to those maneuvers to outrun a star destroyer then just going slowly to the left. The troopers and X-wings were awesome... Want to see more of that saber though... mostly how the small beams really come into play.

Overall I'm ready and now really really wish Doc would appear with the Delorean already

Now barring an extinction level event, we should be having some new excitement as a fandom.

I suppose the Empire didn't instantly fragment into warlord states like it did in the EU.

Or maybe it did, but instead of completely falling into disarray it lost a good portion of it's territories, probably those in the Outer Rim.

Idk, we'll find out eventually.

We have a year and there is bound to be more trailers appearing... they might even do the Story of Star Wars series again like they did for episode 1-3. That had previews and information. The Empire could have lost Palpatine but remained intact losing territory, it could have went the Remnant route and made the peace with Rebels so it will be the Darkside working to turn them against each other, or it has just become a stalemate. To many possibilities and ideas but this is star wars, time travel has always been something they avoided.

I dunno, it was the GALACTIC Empire (Heil Palpatine, Empire Rules, Rebels Drool)

The rebels are basically a guerilla terrorist faction. I'm sure after Palps took the plunge the Empire didn't fragment. From what I'd understand (the real EU and just observing between elections) Life doesn't change for most people with a regime change?

Maybe the tide is turning and the terr---- Rebels are hunting down high profile Empire targets?
