Episode 7 Teaser Trailer Is Here

Beowoof

Morality Policeman :)
I'm definitely more interested than I was before seeing this.

However, how many trailers/teasers have we seen for the million action movies in the last three years that are basically the same thing? (Many of them have been J. J. Abrams movies.) Action, thriller, action scene. It's obviously meant to be a hook (and an effective one), but there's nothing innovative here. Too early to judge either way.

Except the whole 'awakening' thing is just plain cheesy. And I'm not referring to the title exclusively.

Actual plastic Stormtroopers is a plus, though.

We don't need no innovation where we're going. I just want Han & Chewie back on the big screen after 30+ years of absence.

It looks to be a good mix of the two, having enough nostalgia to transfer to the fans, but also have enough originality to move itself on to be it's own new story, now it's not restrained to the story, like the prequels

The teaser was good, but my mom couldn't stop complaining about the stormtrooper at the beginning and the Sith dude in the snow... It did show enough Star Wars-ey stuff to get me completely hooked though.

Dem stormtroopers tho.

Teaser Trailer Stormtrooper is my 2nd favorite Trooper. Next to the Sand Trooper who shot his commander on Tattoine in the back as the hero's were getting on the Falcon.

And I want this movie naow. But I must wait...

A Pseudo-Mandolorian. Sort of.
I'm so completely excited. It's not hard to be optimistic when the last movies we got were the prequels, after all.

Strangely, the think that caught me most was the ClaySaber Sith (Adam Driver?)'s movement in that forest scene. I must be a super nerd, but it's so awesomely purposeful, awkward, and menacing. It's just got a lot of gravitas.

All in all, it's got that Star Wars look. That look we've been needing. I'm hyped.
