Special Agent Joker
---Nickel One Arriving at Gun's of Navarone---

"Alright pack it up." Jesta said as the cart pulled up to the main generator for the guns. "We need to reestablish the uplink, Brutus your the expert. Go to the generator and power it up. We will be right here." Jesta said calmly. Brutus sprinted off down the staircase to generator and Jesta and the others examined the area. Looking closely he saw that there were only one rail that led to the generator at all. Made sense seeing as this was used for the Verpine military. Having several routs to this location would surely compromise the thing. "Porch. How much ammo do you have for the RPG?" Jesta asked with a chuckle. Porch banged his chest and readied it on his shoulder. "Good man." Jesta told him. Sending the cart to the left on the other side of the rail he waited and looked at his map to see the route is was going. He saw it was going to a rail intersection. "Alright Nyra blow it!" As his command the intersection was blown out of the area. Leaving nothing but a giant gaping hole. Jesta then pointed in the location of were they came on the rails far off. "Now take out the other side!" Jesta ordered laughing. Porch took a knee and shot the rail. When it hit the rail leading to the platform and going to the intersection simply fell down. Never to be seen again as it fell down to the abyss. "This is Alpha squad 7 we have the location secure. All routes to the guns have been removed. Jesta said walking away. Now talking to his team he chuckled. "Everyone set charges all through the tunnel leading here. All of them. " He ordered. Putting down his backpack and giving them all of the left over charges he had. the other five did the same.

Once that was done the team pack up and walked into the generator. If anyone came throuh the tunnel. They would die. His team were the elite and the slightest chance someone knew the bombs were were was impossible. They were the best at concealing what they did. And if someone came through it would leave nothing left. "Alright everyone to the control room. Go go go!" Jesta hustled up the stairs with his team following.

Monty jetted shortly after the squad leader punched through and found a hole. He landed and watched with a happy eye as the air exited the ship as the hatch opened.

He hooked his comrades S-26 to his elbow and exited the ship, taking a tactical stance. Monty followed Selena over the bumpy terrain and scanned for threats.

It was a surreal scene. Insects moving across the surface of a rock with a backdrop of gods fighting one another with fire of various colors. Monty crouched when Selena placed the device and waited for the boom.

The 73rd was feeling confident along their section of the tunnel overwhelming the troopers while they had been trying to unload. Until a large, horned and armored beast made its way into the tunnel. Its horned head scraped the ceiling of the tunnels when it stood at full height. Soldiers shouted in surprise or awe of such a creature but it was short lived. The beast could take out huge swaths of soldiers in the small space with one swath of its large arm.

By now the fighting had moved along into the Inner Bay of the asteroid. Thankfully the space was much more cavernous bay would give them a bit of cover, including the bits and pieces of machinery laying about. Gravity was back at full force, including atmosphere and not a moment too soon. Soldiers scrambled to set up behind the machines, even though the beast could probably pick them up and hurl the objects at any target.

The only thing on their side in regards to the large rancor-like beast was sheer numbers. Despite the armor, every armor had spaces for movement. The large plates for the beast were no different. If they could get enough shots between the small non-armored spaces it may cause just enough pain and distraction to take it down. If their plan wasn't working in short order, Delila would have no choice but to bring out the thermal charges and let loose, potentially damaging the structure of the space.

"Shoot between the armor! Everyone who is not directly engaged with this creature keep tabs on the troopers!"

Sky-blue blade speared for victory, a tragic ends to a mean. Yet it only met air as the Sith Empress side-stepped his killing blow. Her hop step had ensured his blade was once more out of range, and where there had been lightning meeting his right blade there was only air. Then a two handed strike came from over her shoulder and met his waiting blade. Though his size, and physical strength were advantages, the GrandMaster could only do so much against a two handed force-enhanced blow. His feet were out of position for such a guard, so the stress fell on his wrist and tricep to keep the blade of energy from himself. Darron brought his left blade in and went for a strike but that thought went flying out of the window when he felt it.

Contact.

It was his own blade that contacted his shoulder, and the sound of his own flesh melting away filled his ears. Being so deep in Vaapad he could only view the sensation as what it was, in this fight he couldn't be overwhelmed. His attentions turned fully towards the stab he was firing off with his left blade but a swift kick to the back of his knee dropped in down to a kneeling position as the Empress backed away. Blue eyes looked at the burn would on his shoulder, and a quick flexion of the deltoid muscle showed he was okay. It was merely a flesh would, nothing more. No need to waste time or energy trying to heal something so inconsequential. She had an identical would on her throat from his blade. Yes, this fight would be dirty...a brawl if you would.

Darron..

Funny, how in the most dire moment of his life his Force senses took to using the voice of Je'gan Olraen. The hairs at the nape of his neck shot up, and a chill went across his body as he felt darkside power being used. Starting to stand up, the muscles in his thighs tensed and he saw the fighter flying uncontrollably towards him. Instead of leaping above it, he charged towards it. In mid-stride he deactivated the blade in his left hand of flesh and clipped it to his belt as he rolled head first underneath the fighter, coming back to his feet as he charged towards Ashin in one fluid motion showing off his years of combat training and body control. Only a few meters away, he saw the debris flying towards him and he skid to a stop.

Guess I need to match her skill-set or she will tear me apart from long range. The GrandMaster of the Jedi Order kept a clear mind as he raised his now un-encumbered hand. The power of the lightside channeled through him, and he channeled his focus to that hand. The tips of his fingers almost tickled with power for just a milisecond as the debris drew closer. With only a moment to spare, electric judgement fired from his finger tips blasting everything in his wake. With the debris gone, Darron pushed further extending the lighting further to strike the Empress where she stood.

HANGAR BAY
@[member="Darron Wraith"]

With the ancient arts of her grandfather, she accepted and drew upon the pain from the burn on her neck. Ashin's mouth opened in a wordless roar as she caught the Electric Judgment in her outstretched hand. The lightning split and sprayed everywhere, marking and charring the hangar. Droids and vehicles crackled; smoke filled the air. It would have been whisked away by the asteroid's air processors, but Darron's redirected lightning made lights flicker and fans stall. Stray lightning blew out control surfaces and access panels in nearby starships.

Her open palm closed into a fist, and the lightning ceased to fracture. Its components came together in a return bolt, Darron's Electric Judgment corrupted and amplified by Ashin's own skill at Sith Lightning.

Because you really don't throw lightning at the Dark Lord of the Sith.

She pointed her lightsabre and lightning welled up around the blade, forming a second eye-searing bolt, a second point of connection between herself and Darron. Vaapad's superconducting loop relied heavily on the visualization of, well, a loop, returning what was sent. He would, no doubt, send her lightning back at her as she sent his back at him, but she relied on instinct to select the target location that best corresponded to the outflow in his visualization of that loop.

With luck and with enough power, she could jam Vaapad.

Lightning crackled into Rosa's blade, spitting and hissing violently. Mikhail ended it with a cutting gesture of his hand. He pointed his blade toward Rosa and stepped into a Makashi stance, feet in an L and lead foot pointed directly toward her, with his body turned so that only his right side, shoulder, and glowing violet blade were visible. Now they would duel.

He began a lunge, fully extending his arm from where it rested just off his hip, blade aimed toward Rosa's right shoulder. Simultaneously, his lead foot stepped up and forward, bringing him within striking distance as the blade lanced out. The philosophy of Makashi was one of control. In this case, Mikhail emphasized his control of footwork. By bringing his lead foot back and taking a step back with his rear foot he could dodge out of reach swiftly. Of course, it would be much harder to do in his heavy armor, so he properly adjusted his technique.

The Soulsaber's grip on his mind did indeed make him quite insane on the Dark Side's power. However, it did not leave him without any wits. He saw everyone and anyone as enemies, but there was a cold precision in his rage. As if a deadly predator now struck at its own kind as well as prey, yet it did not make the predator any less deadly.

Akura Yavis

Deathwatch Soldier
NICKLE ONE - MUNITIONS FACILITY

The mandalorian drop ship soared over the surface of nickel one, searching for conflict. Akura prepped her weapons and HUD as she waited for the ship to land. Other soldiers of Deathwatch sitting next to and across from her did the like, while quietly singing Vode An, a popular mandalorian war chant. The defeat of the Republic at Roche would be a great show of Death Watches strength. They would not relent until the hated jetii had been pushed out of the system.

The bay doors beneath their feet suddenly opened, signaling that the time to fight was nigh. Akura activated her jet pack and flew out of the hatch with around 30 other soldiers closely behind. "Oya!" She cried. Her men, taking up the call, drew their blasters and jetted toward the munitions facility.

By the time the Deathwatch would be finished, the rivers would run red with the blood of the republic, and the sith would be victorious.

"Brutus hows the generator?" Jesta asked, reaching the floor with a large door he took formation around it. Putting his back to the wall next to the door his squad did the same. "It should take a few minutes, generator uplink was deactivated. I have to reboot the system." Brutus replied. Jesta took point and aimed his assault rifle towards the door. "Good, we are breaching the control room." Four of his men got into formation behind him, porch was in front of the door and hacked the panel. "Door unlocked, breach in clear formation beta!" Porch shouted getting onto the other side of the door on the wall and preparing his shotgun. Jesta nodded and Nyra, the soldier behind him squeezed his shoulder. Confirming they were ready. Two seconds passed and Jesta moved into the room. Covering the right side his team did each of their jobs. They trained a million times on how to clear a room. "Right clear!" Jesta said. 'Left clear!' Nyra confirmed taking the left. Jesta took a knee ans aimed down the sight as the third moved ahead and cleared the rooms ahead. Porch moved in still aiming towards the door they came through. A few minutes of silenced pass before they realized it was clean. "Room secure!"

Jesta stood and walked over to the control panel and started to power it up. 'Brutus status of the generator.' Jesta asked. "Porch claymores. Now." Jesta ordered, watching as the controls came online. Porch went to set the explosives. 'Almost done Jesta. ETA five minutes.' Brutus replied. Jesta laughed and looked at his communications expert. "Patch me through to the Imperial fleet." Jesta asked. His squad member pulled out a special radio transmitter that was designed to be secure to prevent any eavesdroppers who would wish to listen in. Typing in some codes he gave the thumps up and Jesta laughed. "This os cassius alpha squad 7 to Imperial fleet. We are at the main guns for the control room. Generator uplink was down, we are currently powering it back up. ETA three minutes. Please comply." Jesta requested as his squad locked down the room.

Null Company waited in grim silence. The emptiness in the air one of soldiers waiting to kill, or be killed. They wore black armor to match their dourness, the only colorful part about it was the emblem on the shoulder pauldron of every warrior. A blood-red crest with a golden tuk'ata impaled on a sable spear. A warning, for those who could recognize it. They killed force users.

The Empire hired the mercenary soldiers on a simple contract: kill anyone who tried to infiltrate the generator. Simple. Niktos from 1st platoon erected E-webs in three hallways leading to the core of the facility, where the generator lay. Armed with heavy weapons and multiple variations of ordnance, the Fighting First would not be easily swept over. Their Morgukai commanders stomped about, fully armored in cortosis-weave and carrying Morgukai staffs. They would be a match for any Force User one on one. For in this place, the Force would be of little avail.

Yuuzhan Vong warriors sat separate from the other platoons. The fearsome warriors waited hungrily at the knowledge that Jedi could be entering the facility at any moment. Great glory awaited anyone who slew a Jedi. Formidable warriors, they easily outclassed the other members of the platoon in skill and ability, even some of the Morgukai.

Roa Tang, however, stood with Quay's Own, the third platoon of Null Company. These soldiers, mostly Weequay, carried ACP array guns and SFOR carbines, suitable for fighting in close combat. Roa cleaned his Accelerated Charged Particle array gun to pass the time. He sniffed the air, even from beneath his helmet he could smell it. Anticipation.

"Ey Roa, we goina knock some eads today?" Sai Shay, an extremely talkative human, asked the Weequay.

Roa grunted.

"Yah, yah I bet you is itchin for a fight mah man." Sai chuckled while cracking his neck. He wore simple light armor like Roa, but carried an SFOR carbine. The weapon fired rippling shockwaves which would rip matter to shreds. He smelled of liquor and gave off a scent of fear and adrenaline. "We gonna give em hell and some change, eh?"

The weequay shrugged. Finished cleaning his scatter gun, Roa moved on to checking his disruptor pistol. He waited just like the others, in anticipation.

Selena was not surprised when troops began flooding the hanger. It was only natural once the breach was discovered that they begin to come under fire. Her team was mostly Jedi due to the communications issue with StealthX's, but Jedi were still very vulnerable to a lot of laser bolts. They could survive in a full battle, or in a hall relatively well, but in the open like a hanger things were a lot more difficult. "Use the ships for cover," Selena shouted to the team.

The moved to a near by shuttle, batting laser bolts when possible. Over the comm piece in her ear word came in that troops had landed on the asteroid. Good, she though, then we won't be alone. However, she was sure that she could make their advance easier. Getting to the generator was not a primary concern at all of Selena's. Not anymore. The team was not large enough to make an assault through all those hallways. Also the specific location of the generator was all but unknown. Her team would need the forces of Iron Maiden to get in here if success was going to happen. To her team, "We need to try and disable as much of the defenses as possible. Republic forces are marching here right now. If we can knock out power to the local defenses they will get here faster. We need to find a command room."

Eldoc was waiting.. he hated waiting. Then alarms went off , someone was here. Eldoc made his way, he sensed another sith but wasn't sure where he was. his ancient imperial knight armor clanked with each step he took. He was ready to greet the intruders with the sith following him. He didn't need this inconvenience.. but he was here at the Empress's request. She wanted him to command the facility so here he was. He swarmed the hanger with his own men and laughed as he saw jedi... the folks who called themselves good. His green lightsaber ignited and he charged Selena " Not today Jedi Scum" He entered his marauder training state of mind, falling into a very aggressive and unpredictable stance swinging at her with his green saber.

Rosa relaxed as the lightning stopped, centring herself she emptied her mind of all emotion and pulled her empathy field close to her so that other emotions could not inflict her. Her breathing slowed as she calmed herself and took the defensive opening stance of soresu, the tip of her lightsaber pointing at the floor beneath her evenly spread feet. The calm eyes beneath her visor found Mikhail's raging ones and the rest of their environment fell into insignificance.

Mikhail lunged, Rosa's stance shifted as she spun the tip up from the ground to catch the attack and twist it aside. The ataru swordswoman in her longed to strike, but not today. Today she would wear Mikhail out. Today she had more than her own life to think about.

The automated turret defenses began to open fire on the Jedi and company within the hangar, while two stormtrooper platoons rushed to retake the hangar, immediately alerted to the presence of intruders.

On the comms, Null Company received word. Jedi. The entire company geared into motion.

Ska'rr, commander of the Yuuzhan Vong as well as adjunct of Null Company, began shouting orders. "First Platoon, move to set up choke points on the access ways out of the hangar. Second and third platoons, we deal with the Jedi." The fearsome commander led the Yuuzhan Vong and Quay's Own troops swiftly through the hallways before they too spilled out into the hangar.

Meanwhile, the Nikto platoon and its Morgukai commanders moved their E-web emplacements to create a bottleneck around the hangar of the generator asteroid. There was only one entrance into the facility. The hangar. And Null Company along with two platoons of stormtroopers were about to turn it into one hell of a bottleneck kill zone.

Yuuzhan Vong spilled from the halls into the hangar and headed straight for the lightsaber. Roa Tang and his fireteam element followed, trying to keep pace with the unnatural speed of the alien warriors.

"Attack formation delta," To'kai, leader of the Weequay platoon, said. Weequay snipers began to spread out, leveling weapons on the Jedi and opening fire.

Yuuzhan Vong moved into semi-circle around the shuttle where the Jedi hid. Roa Tang and his fireteam moved to close in. Tang let his ACP gun fall from his hands, disengaging from the magnetic adhesion in his palms and resting at his side on a shoulder sling. His hand moved like lightning toward the disruptor pistol, which he snatched from its holster, leveled, and fired.

A disruptor bolt seared through the air and straight toward Selena. All the while, Yuuzhan Vong mercenaries were closing in, tightening the semi-circle. Not to mention the platoons of stormtroopers readying for an assault on the hangar from Republic forces which would no doubt come soon.

"Status report!" Ayden repeated as the bridge crew struggled back into their stations. He growled as he spotted the myriad of shuttles headed for G99. While he wanted to destroy as many of them as he could, he first had to take stock of the damages done to his ship. As he watched the floating hulk of the once giant Charon-class Star Destroyer drift off, Ayden begrudgingly conceded the fact that whoever its captain was was a brilliant man. He used his ship as a sacrificial shield to get Sith boots on the ground on G99.

"Reports are coming in now, Exarch. We have stress fractures along the bottom of the ship. Numerous casualties, a handful fatal. We have blown power relays and misaligned shield and tractor emitters. Engineering reports they can give us 70% power to the engines. A number of batteries are offline, and we're expecting other systems to come and go offline while crews reroute around damaged power relays." Ayden frowned at the reports. While the Starfall was by no means out of the fight, the damage was more than he had expected.

"Keep us in orbit above the G99 facility. I want all turbolaser batteries back on-line as soon as physically possible. Route power from every non-critical system you have to. Take the hyperdrive offline, I don't care, but I want those batteries online." He glanced back out towards the asteroid as the Sith ships began to offload their cargo. The escape pods still littered space. "Start tractoring those escape pods. I want-" His words trailed off when the holographic map of G99 switched to an exterior field view and he saw the first hulking titan walk out onto the asteroid. "Nine Hells... Redirect all remaining Avengers. Tell them they're to focus on supporting the Republic forces down there. While we're waiting for all of our batteries, let's start picking off those giant walkers. Priority goes towards the ones closest to our facilities. Pull them off that rock and throw them into space."

"And someone contact Admiral Walsh. Ask him what our orders are."

The electric judgment had been good for stopping the debris, sending it flying at the Empress was just a stall if anything. Jedi didn't play with electrical Force powers, because it was just too dangerous for them without Master training. The Sith would always hold this inherent advantage over the Jedi, and Darron knew it. So when Ashin caught his energy and started to amplify it, he simply directed his attention on the loop between the two of them. He let it crystallize, harden in his mind. If only for the moment, this was static moment in a fluid duel. The GrandMaster of the Jedi could narrow his focus for the time being and then something curious happen as he let the loop between them become very clear in his mind. Not only was she feeding the energy he had sent towards her, but she was channeling it into her own lightsaber as well. He had never seen such a tactic in his entire life.

What the Feth?

The lightning fired back on him from two locations, and he braced to let it flow into him. Lightsaber went to hit one arch, his hand of flesh went to let the energy from the other side flow into him. Then another curious thing happened, both bolts changed course and struck him. All of his focus went to letting the bolts direct through him, yet he felt the power intensify. His own senses began to experience something new, and he could feel a new power rising in him. Everything around him was charging up, and Vaapad was holding up. The static loop between the two began to crack, and it was too late for him to see it happen. Ashin Varanin, Empress of ten thousand worlds had done something no person had ever done. Much less could do.

She had overloaded Vaapad, and Darron Wraith flew through the air from the energy overload.

His electrum plated hilt rolled against the floor as he slid back, his tank top scorched form the overload. Azure eyes burned with power, and he could smell his own flesh and hair burning from the energy overload. A pounding in the back of his head let him know he was in pain, and still alive. Trying to sit up only caused him more pain as he could feel his muscle fibers explode with pain from the electrostatic discharge he had foolishly tried to absorb. Footsteps were barely audible against the plated floor he was laying on, and he knew she was coming for him. Searing pain was felt through his abdominal region as he sat up and got on one knee, and the fog in his head wouldn't go away. Darron felt as weak as he ever had, his loop had been broken for the first time ever. Yet, there was more power within the hulking Jedi than he had ever known.

Time to release this...

When you have over a year to read up on your opponent from her grandfather's holocron, and you're the GrandMaster of the Jedi Order, you tend to learn a lot. Darron Wraith channeled the excess as his head cleared into his palms. All of his clarity of purpose, all the oneness of self he could find, manifested in him. A glow took over his tan skin, and the lightside of the force was manifest within the leader of the Jedi. A tinge of sadness fell over his face as he looked at the moment for what it was, he had used this on Rhen Var against an old, cagey, Whipid who was only held together by the darkside. What could possibly happen to one who was bound to the darkside by her blood? There was no answer, nor would he search for it.

Force light fired from his hands straight at the Empress of the Sith's chest.

Jaxton Ravos

Mindwalker of the Outer Rim
Da Vaulteroid, Outer Labs -> Inner Labs

Though Jaxton did not completely trust the woman, he was happy to have resolved the conflict without using force. He deactivated his lightsaber and turned his back to the wall, and allowed her to pass.

"Together then. We'll go side by side." Jaxton said, avoiding the awkward matter of who would go first and who would be behind. She couldn't run ahead of him like she could in front, and she couldn't stab his back as she could if he went in first. They continued into the labyrinth of labs, and met a door that led further inside, into another set of labs. Jaxton pressed a button and the door slid into the wall, allowing them to continue without changing position. As they entered this new set of labs it was obvious this was the real work occurred, as the devices and experiments inside became increasing complex and better shielded from things such as radiation or accidental misfire.

"So, you said you said you didn't want to serve one who conquered, but aided." He said, breaking the ice between them. "Who do you think needs aide, and why do they need it? I'm not nearly as strong as your Empress." Jaxton said, remembering his battle on Antar where he was literally sat on by a whale. "But I am no slouch either, and I'd be willing to help you."

---CONTROLLING ION CANONS AND OPENING FIRE ON SITH FLEET---

"Sir, canon power uplink is online. Generator is back and running!" Brutus reported. "On my way up." He finished. Jesta chuckled and reported in again. "We have taken control of the guns, Ion canon one fire at the fleet ships ailed with the empire." Jesta ordered. His squad mechanics and weapons expert got onto the targeting system and aimed for the fleet in space using the gun closest. "OPEN FIRE HAHAHAHAHA!" Jesta ordered, laughing hastaricly. He commed into brutus. "Brutus, before you leave add the vapor shield. To the door. I dont want anyone getting in there." Jesta told him, looking around the room. 'Understood. Setting shield.' He replied.

Not soon after brutus was in the control room. Jesta walked over to him. "Watch the cameras. I wanna see everything that happens." Jesta said walking into the staircase and walked down to the main door. There was one way in and one way out of this place. He was personally going to guard it.

Seth glanced in alarm as sudden jets of Ion energy screamed from Nickel One. He suddenly became very still.

"Officer Mordrid, load the baradium bombs."

"Sir?"

"Load them now." Shorn turned eyes burning with intensity on the Weapons Systems Officer.

"Yes, Praetor." The man went about his task. "They are being loaded now."

"Good, have the entire flotilla fire a salvo of long-range proton torpedoes on the Ion Cannon battery which is currently assailing us. And launch the baradium bombs as well."

The man blanched. "Aye, Praetor."

Forty-four long range torpedoes cut through the air toward the planetary ion cannon on Nickel One. Normal missiles wouldn't have done much, probably would not have even reached the asteroids surface. These, however, were fired from advanced mass drivers, which extended the range by another third. Oh, they would reach the ion cannon. And woe to whoever manned it.

The Iron Maiden and her soldiers had landed successfully. Now the Maiden's flotilla of vessels was moving to join up with Admiral Stahlmann and his own personal fleet of vessels. This meant the broad side of the flotilla would be exposed for a period of time in an awkward angle, leaving blind spots along the vessels that the attached batteries and turbolasers couldn't reach.

"Escorting the flotilla back. Looks like one of 'em is limping along more than the other. Keep the protection on the flanks"

Judah listened to the instructions and was already near the broad sides of the largest vessel within the friendly flotilla. "Understood Captain" TIE fighters flew in tight formations, making it hard for him to single one out on their own and go for it. Corsair had to work in pairs in order to keep from getting shot clear out of the skies. Judah was acting as bait on most of the takedowns-flying in lead and trying to keep the TIEs off his tail while a second member came from behind and shot at the TIEs engines. So far the success rate was promising.

While playing bait once again, Judah weaved close to the surface of the capital ships. Much, much harder to move around but he didn't need the TIEs really taking him down. Increasing his rear shields, he flipped a private channel to @[member="Thessa Kai"]

"Doin' okay Boss?"
