G99 Below the hangar deck.
The drop pods landed in the hangar the door exploded off. From the inside RC's armored deathwatch burst out and immediately set up a perimeter. Only seconds later he opened a sensor scanned map and read their location. They had come in underneath the main levels. RC read their location as below the hangar bays where the fight was being waged.
"Ok make for the stairs, I'll take point. Destroy any reisitance and capture any fighters you can."

RC's plan was to steal any remaining fighters or craft aboard the rock.
The Deathwatch moved towards the stairs. RC unslung his Mandalorian assault rifle with the fixed bayonet. Leading first he charged up the stair and down the hallways making his way towards the main fighter hangars....

Contrary to popular belief, Tyrin was not 'shaking' from rage. Outwardly, his body language appeared as composed and deliberate as ever. It was merely on the inside that his rage boiled over into pure unbridled fury. Masked and armored, Tyrin would appear little more than an uncompromising, unemotional warrior. That was why he wore it, after all. Fighting was so much easier when one's opponent could not read your face. That was the Jedi's folly, because Tyrin could see and feel anger bubbling in A'donari. The boy was yelling and scowling; essentially acting more like a Sith in these few moments than Tyrin. A'donari was strong, there was no doubt about that. Yet he lacked discipline, refinement... Finesse, to say the least. All things Tyrin had acquired through rigorous training. A'donari's blocks, while certainly effective, lacked the certain grace of other Jedi and some Sith.

The child was overconfident. Tyrin could feel it, and so he did what he did best: deceived. He purposely reared his arms back in a ridiculously sloppy maneuver. It was a feint, and A'donari fell for it flawlessly.

The Sith pulled his blade back half way through the gesture, but by then it was too late for A'donari. Tyrin swatted the Twi'lek's blade off side deftly. Strong enough to knocking it off balance, but not enough to knock it from his hands completely. Still, A'donari would have to recover his sword arm before attempting to strike at the Sith again. While his opponent was still off guard from the feint, Tyrin balled his free hand into a fist, swinging it in a force-enhanced slug into A'donari's face. Such a forceful punch, if it did not knock A'donari unconscious outright, would daze him and send him sprawling.

Tyrin did think his anger made him strong. Possibly because it was true.

Delila could feel the stares on her back, the soldiers behind her. No doubt there was a mix of relief and anger towards her for giving up the fight. Perhaps giving up wasn't the word, merely laying down arms until the 73rd could regroup. Imperial soldiers started to advance on their ranks, the 73rd Battalion cut in half of its fighting force, weapons still clenched in bloody and dirty hands.

She was about to reply to the so-called General when explosions started to rock the main hangar and corridor. Delila paused, it didn't sound like Imperial forces since they seemed to be continually cramming towards the choke point, and where the explosions were coming from. The wall on the access corridor was blasted away in chunks, leaving easy man-sized access to the Secondary Bay. This was the turning point the 73rd had been waiting for.

"I hate to surrender and run....Lets get back in this 73rd!" Delila said, turning to her soldiers. Some 73rd remained up front, knocking out the Imperials that had been advancing to accept their weapons.

What was left of the Battalion moved backwards, carefully but quickly since they were being rocked by the explosives. 73rd Soldiers started to pile through the large holes in the duracrete access corridor walls, mingling in with the Omega Pyre soldiers. Having all the troops made it safely through into the Secondary Bay, Delila was one of the last to burst through, spotting what was most likely the leader of the soliders for the Omega Pyre side.

"We are in your debt." Her tone sincere. If the Pyre hadn't shown up when they did..."Alright 73rd, lets work together with Omega Pyre and take these bastards down!"

As soon as her words were finished, the soldiers started to fire onto the main bay through the large holes in the access bay corridor. It provided cover to let the 73rd pick off stormtroopers before they could advance to the chokepoint.

Of course, Sev3n neither accepted nor honored the 73rd's terms of surrender. What's more, the 3rd company of 211th was now directly behind 73rd, while Falon's legion marched on the Republic's front. They were caught between hammer and anvil. The only question was who was the hammer. The answer was simple. Sev3n had a hammer.

The giant terentatek lumbered straight into the rear of the 73rd, swinging its mace with precision that sent troopers screaming through the air in threes and fours, their bodies flopping like ragdolls before smashing into the ground beneath with jarring force. It didn't matter, because all their bones had already been broken by the five thousand pound terentatek.

Blood sprayed into the air in cartwheels as Sev3n lunged forward, impaling a trooper on its poisonous tusk. The man screamed at the tusk which now stuck from his torso. Sev3n analyzed the weight distribution and compensated, fighting on despite the screaming, dying soldier stuck like a fly on its tusk.

The 73rd did not choose to honor their surrender, so they would be cut down.

Captain Stone began issuing orders to his 3rd Company. "Give them the bayonet, boys and girls and whatsits. Straight into them. No quarter! the black flag gentlebeings, the black flag!"

Over one hundred very pissed off stormtroopers charged with vibrobayonets held forward, firing as they ran. Soldiers died.

Anaya felt the fog around her mind ease slightly as Jaxton, lowered his output, but she remained calm. Deception was not easy to pull off when you were tense or nervous and everything weighed on this. She bit back an instinctive reaction to people offering protection or help. Anaya didn’t need it and certainly not from a Jedi. She chose silence was a better option on the matter and turned her attention to the panel.

“The Jamming fields are extremely important. For one, while their up, we’re not getting off the rock with the plans, or transmitting them anywhere.” She said as she began to slice through the security systems, firewalls began to rise up in defense of her slicing and she cursed silently. “We’re about to get some company. Cover me while I get us in and locate the plans.” Using the force and her already well-honed skill for slicing to guide her, her fingers danced across the panel and she sliced her way through security. Verpine began to appear around them in response to their security alerts.

Judah watched as Thessa suddenly vanished. His brows knitted together in frustration, trying not to prod F8 into specifics until the droid was ready with its calculations and reports. For now he accepted flying around in a short space, keeping TIEs off him so he didn't end up getting killed. Growing impatient, Judah was ready to ask F8 what the hold up was and should he replace the droids programming...

F8 : Status of Captain Kai : Microjump. Potentially on enemy vessel or nearby. Death near certain.

"You really know how to cheer a guy up in times of crisis. Just give me the coordinates, we are going to do the same thing. Just lock onto where she went to."

F8 : Unadvised.

"Not askin' for advice. Just do it."

F8 slowly gave out the coordinates and Judah put them in, slightly different for his current position but it should work. Knowing there was a high potential of death, there still wasn't much he could do. Sighing, the young pilot advanced to hyperspace briefly, so brief it was almost painful to come back out of. Judah found his X-Wing nearly in a hangar, spotting another in its bay. Just lovely...

Pushing the throttle forward, he went in to land. Time to see if the stubborn Flight Captain had lived through the risky move.

"You can buy me a drink when we're done!" Siobhan just had to quip at Delila when the surviving soldiers from the 73rd Infantry started to pile in, joining the Omega mercenaries. Her soldiers had taken their share of casualties, but with the Republic soldiers unexpectedly joining them things were looking up. As it was the corridor was a perfect kil zone, at least for now.

However, then more Imperial troopers started to attack them, appearing behind the Republic soldiers. More devastating was the sudden appearance of what to all intents and purposes appeared to be a giant terentatek, as far as Siobhan could surmis, and armed with a mace that sent troopers flying across the area like ragdolls.

Omega mercenaries fell back to a better position in the already crammed corridor, trying to get out of its way. Taking aim with their bolters they fired a relentless hail of explosive rounds at the giant terentatek and lobbed grenades. Siobhan dodged and spun as blaster bolts came towards her, levitating a bolter she unleashed rounds of buckshot at the creature.

Siobhan swung her sabre to reflect rounds at the head of her troops, aiming to send them flying towards the terentatek. Her face was grim as the beast advanced. She had faced a terentatek before, on Kashyyyk, though in all fairness she had almost been killed by it. It seemed a bit bizarre that the Sith would be using a terentatek of all things in a space station. It was also terribly odd that it was carrying a mace. After all, though Sithspawn, a terentatek was still an animal. Something was off, however, in the heat of battle Siobhan had more important things on her mind than focusing on this. Like making sure she and her troops did not get mauled to death!

"Major, get your men out of the firing line!" she called out as she held her lightsabre in a one-handed grip, deflecting rounds before she thrust out her hand. Reaching out she tried to grab some of the Republic soldiers close to the terentatek with the Force and hurl them backwards towards her position. Hopefully that would limit casualties somewhat, even though they had to focus on killing the beast.

Harnessing her powers, she ripped out a very large portion of the wall to her side throwing it straight at the terentatek. The Omega mercenaries, having taken up cover, opened up a relentless hail with their bolters.

The crash-webbing saved the Galan’s life as her smoking ship exited into the expanse of the Star Destroyer’s hangar. The underside of the fighter screeched and sparked as it slide across the bay, taking out parked starfighters, droids, and troopers.

Might as well do some damage to the enemy ship, too. Rip it from the inside.

Sparky warbled off a warning that stuck out to the Galan in the multitude of existing warnings. As her ship continued its crash-slide forward, a piece of an unlucky fighter smashed through the glass of her canopy. Wincing, she continued to fire while focusing on her droid’s rants.

“What? Are you frakkin’ kidding me?” Judah.

“I know, Sparky, get out, NOW!” Even with the firing, it wasn’t enough to slow the erratic momentum of the damaged ship. Punching the cockpit hatch open, it went flying behind her. Luckily, it looked like she was slowing down enough that jumping wouldn’t end in immediate death. Taking a breath and watching as her R2 unit popped over the side, she did the same, flinging her body off, tucking in her limbs to land and roll as softly as she could.

"Got it" Jaxton said and began engaging the Verpine coming upon them, slicing arms, legs, and weapons. As he did this he concentrated fully on the battle and protecting the twi'lek, dropping the pheromonal assault a bit quicker than before, but it was gone before the battle was. He soon found that the Verpine's weapons shot too fast to be blocked, and instead relied on his force-enhanced speed to outmaneuver the Verpine, and increased his aggressiveness, finding the better way to not get shoot was to make sure there was no one able to shoot at you. After a few minutes of fighting, he had disabled all of the Verpine, and managed not to let any stray bolts hit the Twi'lek. He had taken a couple shots, but he was strong enough in the Force now to block out the pain and not lose functionality. He would pay for it later, but right now was too important.

"You ready?" He said to Anaya as the Verpine lay all round him in surrender, either from losing weapons or arms. He only had to deal with around 60% of them, as after the rest saw his efficiency and bladework they fled, not wanting to do battle with the massive Zeltron.

Stay and help the Senator with whatever it is he needs. As of now you answer to him." Jesta ordered. The two stepped off the speeder and ran into the building. Going up to the control room Jesta commed the Senator. "If you can hold down the position my squad will assist you with the planetary defenses." He told him. Turing on the speeder Jesta looked back on at Raccoon and chuckled. "Let the game begin." Jesta said. He then took off with the speeder down the tunnel. Making his way to the facility Jesta would need to do this carefully.

Rosa did not let up as Mikhail began to fight her telekinetic attack, the two strengths equally matched as they repelled each other, the pressure between them building into a powerful shockwave. Rosa let the shockwave hit her and flipped with it, landing lightly a few feet back. Feeling the force coil around her she anchored herself to the ground, and let herself slide before making her decision. Over or under? Neither.
She deactivated her saber, twisting at the last moment, bringing her past the flickering purple saber, and snapping her elbow up into Mikhail's face she reactivated her pale blade bringing it down on Mikhail’s arm, targeting the joints of the armor.

Even as Sev3n waded into the midst of the sea of republic troopers, with its combat matrix at full processing capabilities, there came a hailstorm of ordnance from within the access hallway. Several things happened in quick succession. First, just as the 10,000 stormtroopers of Falon could not enter the access hallway all at once, neither could the entire company of Omega Pyre soldiers lob all their grenades at once, due to the ceiling height and distance to the terentatek. However, a large amount of grenades still came sailing toward the terentatek. The second thing that happened was all the grenades going off right in front of the terentatek, which also happened to be right in the middle of 73rd.

Explosions rocked the area around the access hallway. Republic troopers were flung sky high into the air as the mass of grenades went off, creating a hole in the center of 73rd's rearward lines. Third, a giant terentatek was blown backward. Had it been anything less than a terentatek it would now be dead. However two things saved it. First was the sea of bodies around it which absorbed a portion of the shrapnel and explosions. The second was its ultrachrome breastplate. The armor dented inward in several places where debris propelled by the explosions had punched with alarming force. The terentatek now lay on the ground. Blood seeped from numerous shrapnel wounds to its legs and face. However, it still lived.

Then a slab of permacrete dropped on top of it.

Something broke.

Sev3n quickly ran damage processors. Fractured arm. Broken tusk. Before the processors were finished, bolters began to pelt the terentatek. Or rather, the slab of permacrete which lay on top of the terentatek and therefore saved its life.

By this time, the already in progress bayonet charge of 3rd Company swept into the gap in the lines which Omega Pyre's forces had inadvertently created with their grenades. The charge carried straight through, while the enemy forces focused on the terentatek, until the two forces collided violently in the access hallway. Then everything was a mess of thrusting bayonets, grunts, and blood spilling out to slick the floor.

"Forward! You are the 3rd company! Hold the line! YOU ARE THE THIRD!" roared Captain Stone.

The stormtroopers battlecries in answer went up. Shouts of "WE ARE THE THIRD!" and "FOR STONE!"

Stone waded through the mess, raising his pistol in time to stop a republic soldier with a plasma bolt to the face, nearly taking the man's head off in a spray of pink mist and bone. In his hand he held a vibrosword, which he used to thrust and hack as he neared the frontline where everything was a sprawl of soldiers pushing against each other.

"BAYONET WALL! FORM PHALANX!"

Vibrobayonets raised to face the enemy in a sudden even line. Stone knew what a melee contest came down to. It was all about one mass pushing another. Reverse tug of war.

"1....2....PUSH! 1....2...PUSH! 1....2...FIRE!"

The wall of stormtroopers pressed forward, alternately pushing with their vibrobayonets acting like a thicket of spears and then occasionally opening fire in a staccato volley of plasma bolts.

"Admiral and Mi'Lady were set for departure of hyperspace in ten minutes. What are your orders upon exit." Kiyala looked over to the admiral who nodded allowing her to give orders as her orders would be trusted. She checked their long range scanners and were already in close enough proximity to patch into the Empire's comm channel, she listened to the endless feed of information from the battle scene. It seemed as if a couple of her relative superiors needed some assistance, and she cursed to herself wishing she would have been allowed to jump in closer but as they say it's no point in crying over spilled milk. She thought to herself for a moment, this was nothing like the military classes she had been forced to sit through as real men and women of the Empire would die if she made the wrong decision and though as a Sith she probably shouldn't care; the fact that her life was along the price tag brought a sense of uneasy to the young lady.

Her grip tightened on the folds of her seat as they exited hyperspace. She past what she had come to know as Kaine's force, and would continue to their rendezvous toward's Seth forces. It was then that she decided that inaction would not serve them well either and she opened up her mouth to speak toward their subordinate saying "Deploy our fighters to attack our enemies at the rendezvous point with the orders to follow under Shorn & Master Velok's orders until we catch up." Knowing their fighters would be able to reach and provide aid before their fleet of 3 Pellaeon-class Mark II Star Destroyers would reach them, she watched from the view screen as their fighters in total of the number of 288 were deployed and promptly raced off ahead to the Destroyers. It was then that she and more notably her allies would begin to feel the effects of the battle meditation being employed and considering they were all still fresh it would give them a nice boost of already fresh morale.

She thumbed their fleets personal comm for a moment. "Know that we all fly with the Empire's infinite strength and that today will only be the first of many victories for the Empire! Fly true and kill all who oppose our Empress will." Satisfied with herself as she knew she was no speech maker but her regal tone and assurance was something that her men and women serving would feel comfortable around. She looked to the Admiral who seemed to approve but was guarded enough to not seem to need such approval after all she was Sith. Her hazel eyes began to be able to perceive the battle they were flying into.

She took in a breath and exhale calling the dark side to quiet her nerves a little. Her emotions now were that of a stone wall as such should be of a leader who would ask her soldiers to live, serve and die for her but obviously the latter was recommended. She now stood unable to contain her inner nerves and needing to stand to remind solid and not simply fidgeting in her chair as she anticipation began to grow for the oncoming battle.

Shorn glanced toward the holographic map table which showed more salvos of torpedoes incoming from Admiral Walsh. The Praetor bit back a curse, didn't the man know he would be firing on his own? The lines of the two forces were so close together that friendly fire would be inevitable. Shorn gripped the table for about the third time, preparing for impact. However, his ships had in total 224 point defense laser cannons. Most of these were engaged in shooting down starfighters. However, the ones that weren't immediately turned on the incoming missiles.

Some of the missiles hit Stahlmann's forces, some hit Velok's while still others hit Shorn's. The impact was spread out over the tightly packed vessels as they fought in space for dominion, not just of Roche, but of the galaxy as a whole. For that was what they truly fought for, this battle represented more than a mere victory over a system. It represented the war to come and how it would be waged.

Shields received damage, but far less than they had the previous times Walsh fired on Shorn, due to the fact that Stahlmann's star defenders were intermingled as well as Velok. This time, they all shared in damage.

The battle went on.

Ayden walked the ground battle unfold. The Imperials were certainly set on claiming the facility. "Send a request to the Republic. Have them send two of their assault frigates. I want all of our turbolasers locked onto those Imperial dropships. First one that so much as flares its engines, blow it apart. Comm, broadcast a message to the Imperials. Tell them I'm willing to negotiate the terms of their surrender."

As the comm officer nodded to him, Ayden stood on the platform overlooking his bridge, eyes on the holographic map, and spoke. "To the man in charge of the Sith forces presently assaulting the facility on G99. Your assault on the asteroid has been admirable. However, you should now know that I have every gun on my ship aimed at your dropzone. I will open fire the moment a single one of your dropships attempts to take off. Cease all aggressive actions against the Republic forces and lay down your weapons. Do this, and your lives will be spare. Fail to do so and I promise you not a soul among you or your men will step foot off that asteroid."

As his ultimatum was delivered a pair of Freedom-class assault frigates moved into position on either side of the Starfall, each prepping their weapons to fire on the coordinates of the Sith dropships. "You have five minutes to respond." He nodded to the comm officer to cut the transmission and moved back to the encrypted channels OmegaPyre used. "Colonel Kerrigan, what's the status of your men and the evacuation?"

Where had Phylis been during all this time? Whatever she was doing we shall assume it was very vital and important, and not related to this writer saying they weren't going to post here again.
Yet here we are.

So Phylis...suddenly appeared in the midst of the battle, helping Siobhan pull soldiers out of the way of the murderous terentatek. Quite why one was on a space station was something Phylis could not fathom. Still, she suspected that a wizard had done it...or possibly a Sith Lord doing whatever they did to control beasts. It had never been one of her lines of study. Beasts rarely had much of interest to discuss.

And so, green lightsabre ignited she came face to face with the monster. Blasters, bolters and grenades had failed to stop it, so what about a lightsabre? The battlefield was a mess. Omega, Sith, Republic troops fought in a close melee, and the Sith especially seemed to be liking the bayonet charge. Clearly they had read Suvarov's injunction that 'the bayonet is a wise man, the bullet is a fool', which probably worked with flintlock muskets, but not so much with blasters.

Regardless, this post is finally getting to where the Jedi does something. She charged into the 3rd's line, first tearing down a section of wall plating to smash a hole in their rear lines. Then, using the Force she leaped high into the air (or as high as the ceiling would allow), dropping down on top of the crushed Imperial troops she went into action. Lightsabres and packed troops did not mix well for those caught against it. Slicing and dicing, using the Force to speed her, and using the defence and riposte of Form III, Phylis hacked her way into the Sith.

Like the Macedonians at Pynda, the Sith were caught between a rock and a hard place, and how long could even the valiant 3rd hold their ground against this onslaught?

The terentatek seemed halted, temporarily at least, though it still lived. However, there was no time to process this or move to strike again and thus end the threat, as the 3rd Company of stormtroopers charged, using the gap the Omega soldiers' grenades and explosive rounds had created.

Soon the two opposing forces clashed in a vicious melee and the stormtroopers drew their vibrobayonets. An obsolete method of warfare perhaps, to be sure, but useful at close quarters, though the Omega soldiers wore armour. It was chaos, a mess of thrusting bayonets and blades, grunts and pained cries, blood and corpses everyhwere. Siobhan rallied her forces as they clashed with the advancing stormtroopers.

"You're Omega, kill the scum!" Siobhan was on fire now, she struck out with her blade in an aggressive flurry. The quarters were too cramped for her to resort to fancy moves and acrobactics as she was wont to do, forcing her to fight free-form, but then most of the time she did not bother to learn the fancy names of forms anyway.

Unyielding in her assault, she counterattacked as the bayonet-wielding stormtroopers charged. Sizzling, her blue blade slashed across the corridor, cutting a bloody swathe. She shore blaster rifles in half, grabbed ahold of a bayonet-tipped rifle aimed at her chest to drive it down into the leg of a stormtrooper, then spun around to clove her blade into the head of another attacker, whirling as she felt a stormtrooper pierce her armour to strike into her back.

Pumped up with adrenaline she grit her teeth and suddenly the enemy soldier found himself lifted off his feet into the air, before he was violently thrown back to be slammed into some of his comrades. Along with Omega troopers who had drawn vibroblades Siobhan charged, her lightsabre cleaving into armour, sending blaster rifles flying. She ducked as a trooper moved to slam his rifle into her face, diving sideways as another came at her before she felt the slam of a fist that connected directly with her face. Landing on the ground she reeled slightly, but then lashed out with telekinesis to send her attackers flying into a wall with a sickening crunches.

Reaching out with the Force she grabbed a vibroblade from a fallen comrade, then advanced, using the conventional blade to block strikes, while she deftly swung the lightsabre as her offensive weapon. Leaping into the air she slammed her boot into the neck of a trooper while slashing in a downward thrust with her swords.

It seemed that Ayden chose just this moment to call her. "Hell of a fight down here, Exarch! Fighting hundreds of Imps in the access corridor," she briefly paused to take out an Imperial with a diagonal cut across his chest, then knocked him towards his comrades with a hard kick. "They've got a terentatek." She used the Force to levitate bricks into the air and throw them at her enemies.

Using the Force to augment her speed she charged, urging her troops to follow, slicing and dicing her way into the Sith ranks. She sensed that Phylis was with her, the Jedi Master having apparently showed up from whatever was so important and together the Force Masters unleashed their powers.

"Sounds like I'm missing a hell of a party." Ayden chuckled then grew serious. "Listen, Colonel. I need you to direct all of the Republic's forces and our own to fall back to the fighter production facility and hanger. Seal off every door on your way back. Drop explosives, collapse tunnels. Just stall the Imperial forces and get off that rock."

Valik, undisturbed by the calamity around him, headed to the where the Prototype Generator was located. While still a bit jealous that he had not made it, he had to admit that the simplicity and efficiency of the device were beautiful to him. If allowed, he could have stayed here for days, tinkering and toying with the machine, taking it apart, looking at all the pieces, and then finding a way to make it stronger, quicker, or lighter. But, time was of the essence, and if he dawdled here for too long eventually the Republic would find him. So, he began looking at the machine not for it's beauty, but it's attachments, and quickly began thinking of the most efficient ways to take it apart, and move it away, possibly to one of his labs.

"Dr. Valik, we have been ordered to assist you." A team of Verpine engineers came and reported, and Valik ordered them into specific locations to begin the deconstruction of the device, while he ordered a small portion of the team to get repulsor lifts. This generator was Valik's, and with the power it brought he would bring the galaxy to it's knees."
