Nickel station, linking up with Jesta

"Need to know basis. Sweet," Siobhan responded dryly as she ran across the rails. Given the circumstances, she could certainly not fault him for being cautious. It was terribly dark, almost pitch-black as she made her way through, but the blue glow of her lightsabre and her bionic eye provided enough illumination and she was prudent enough to reach out with her senses to make sure she was not followed. She pressed a button on her comm, alerting the Omega units that were landing as to her location.

After some more running she happened upon the gas mask wearing female soldier standing sentinel at the station. "Kerrigan, Omega. I need to get to the Rep," Siobhan said by way of greeting.

Ardak dove forwards as missiles shrieked behind him and then exploded, seemingly killing all of the Verpine. As he forced himself to rise despite the pain, he saw maybe 30 of the insects. It was amazing how many creatures the Verpine race had in stock. If they were a bit hardier than no mammallian race would be able to compete with the sheer numbers of the Verpine. He looked up at the Sith, and then the other Senator, and decided he had had enough of chasing rabbits.

"Senator, I'll leave you to your bloodlust. I have business to take care of." Ardak said and then took a nearby speeder that was formerly inhabited by one of the now-incinerated Verpine.

"This is Senator Ardak to escorts. I am coming to converge on your location. I will attempt to cover your flank, but do not wait for me. You know your priorities." Ardak said as the speeder hummed and Ardak recklessly made his way onto the streets.

The Omega Pyre ship dropped from hyperspace as @[member="Ayden Cater"]'s transmission buzzed off the intercom. Malica Drezyan, leader of the small platoon currently preparing for battle in the recesses of the ship, stared at the mess that was the Roche Asteroids. "How quickly do you think you can get us through the field into the hangar?" Malica asked the pilot, with some apprehension. Time was of the essence if they planned on truly aiding the Republic's defenses inside the production asteroid. The field was treacherous during peacetime, very well when covered by warring Republic and Imperial fleets. The team had studied the map of Roche extensively as soon as they had been assigned to the defensive, but like anything during war, it was much more overwhelming in reality than in theory.

The pilot gave Malica a stern look. "Signal the commander that we will be arriving shortly." The pilot said, and began preparing the ships shields for one intricate lunge toward the asteroid's adjunct hangar. The pilot calculated the time with an eye-shot through the windshield while simultaneously using the ship's navigation system to figure an estimate. She compared the two and cut the difference. "I can get us in there in ten minutes, we're going to receive major damage. The shields won't remain stable. Going directly into the eye of the storm, hoping to make it through in one piece...." The pilot shook her head preferred not to finish her statement.

"A crazy manuver, I know." Malica said as she sent the transmission to their contact Republic commander. "But they are counting on us." A message appeared on her console in response. EXPECTED ARRIVAL - 9:59. The doors to the small back hangar would be open for about fiften seconds after the ten minutes expired. They had no time to spare. If the doors remained open any longer, it would allow Imperial forces infiltrate. The swift Omega Pyre freighter would be able to cross the threshold of the hangar in no time. The asteroid field was what made their nerves grate. Malica announced on the intercom to her team in the barracks, "Prepare for arrival, gentlemen. We're in for a bumpy ride." The Omega Pyre ship bucked forward, directly into the Roche asteroid field.

Jesta came traveled through the station and his comm buzzed on. Jesta held a finger to his ear and listened. "Jesta you have company. A sith is coming from the rails, he shouldn't he able to spot you two but just in case we will keep an eye out. Brutus out.' They informed. Jesta laughed. "These guys just wont back down...no matter. I have a little surprise for them." Jesta cackled shoving the Verpine a bit. "Come on pick it up we got company." Jesta said breaking into a speed walk. Nyra checked in next. "Sir, i found the omega, we are on our way to extraction." She said, Jesta replied. "Uhhhhh, might wanna get that ass moving, we have a sith on our six. Give the omega your sniper." He said, turning off and pulling out his special blaster. "This is so fun."

Jaxton looked at the dark jedi, then at the armoed knight as his side. Extending his senses he felt the sith's aura, the darkside within him. Then again, his allegiance was obvious when one accounted the shadows seemingly emerging from the man. Jaxton didn't fear him, but felt if he could use those shadows the Knight would probably be a better match-up, as Jaxton's best abilities were his sword play, something not as useful in fighting non-corporeal entities.

Follow my lead. Jaxton used the Force to implant the message in the armored Jedi's mind, then ignited his lightsaber, an abnormally large one that looked natural at his large frame.

"I'll take him." Jaxton said then burst forward with incredible speed, his athletic pedigree and mastery of the Force enhancing him to his body's physical limits. He ran to the side of the man and slashed horizontally, in a motion that would have bisected him across his abs, but at the last second deactivated his lightsaber and kept going away from the battle. He had more pressing business at hand, what with the Generator plans, and he was sure their were some bigger fish waiting to strike.

The squadrons of Imperial starships burst into the foray just as the Adjudicator began making its retreat. Lieutenant Jens caught the tail end of the brief action, as his ship and those of his squadron's tangled with enemy Republic vessels. A strange feeling had come over him moments before entering the battle. He focus had increased as though supernaturally, to the point of spurning on uncharacteristically brazen moves. No doubt the result of some Sith's battle meditation spell, Jens felt otherworldly forces guiding his hands as he pulled diagonally on his TIE's controls, arcing his ship up and squeezing the trigger. An enemy Republic starfighter burst into flames, and he flew through the evaporating combustion.

As the Adjudicator retreated, so too did Maximilian's squadron. He was not in direct contact with the flotilla, and made no presumptions about their strategy. He hailed the bridge of the Adjudicator announcing his presence.

"Squadrons from Battlegroup Prowler reporting to reinforce your position. Awaiting directive from the bridge. Over."

NICKEL ONE MUNITIONS FACILITY
@[member="Darren Brunswick"]

The remaining verpine began to die swiftly. Occasionally they returned fire to the windows successfully and one of the loyalists would fall, but in combat with blasters positioning and ground is everything. And Mikhail's forces most certainly manned the best ground. Below them, the approach to the munitions facility became a kill zone as whatever remnants of the feeble resistance died. Pitchforks. Mikhail snorted.

Somewhere in the munitions facility, two of the platoon members found a light repeater along with dozens of grenades. This was to be expected. The facility held munitions after all. The verpine platoon began lobbing grenades down on those below, while a light repeater set up on the window began to let loose a successive whining of whyap whyap whyap.

Mikhail picked up on the feelings of the platoon, wondering if they would be loyal while killing so many of their own kind. Indeed, a deep grief stole over the platoon members. One sat in the corner, making clicking sounds and holding its head in its hands, clearly in shock. Yet, they continued firing. It was kill or be kill and Shorn supposed he should not be so surprised. After all, humans killed each other all the time. The Sith walked over to a window and stuck his hands out, unleashing lightning down on the verpine below. Several fell into convulsions and lay twitching upon the ground, yellow blood oozing from their burst eyes while smoke rose all over their carapaces.

"This is your last chance, Senator," boomed Mikhail's voice. He felt a rage surmounting that would consume everything if he let it. Derriphan thirsted for even more blood, ever unsatisfied no matter the deluge. "Surrender, or I'm going to be really, really pissed. You wouldn't like me when I'm pissed."

NICKEL ONE - NEAR THE SURFACE STATION

@[member="Jesta"] | @[member="Siobhan Kerrigan"]

The rail car screeched to a halt, nearly sending its Sith occupants flying as a result of the severe lurch generated from their previously high speed. Tyrin stumbled to his knees alongside two of his colleagues, but quickly got up. They had to move quickly. No, faster than quickly. They had to move... Expeditiously. The four other assassins cloaked themselves as the door opened, but Tyrin neglected to. By all appearances, he disembarked alone. There was only one soul paying attention to the car as it arrived in the station- a lowly Verpine mechanic turned informant.

"There you are! He was just here." The insect clicked, before looking around Tyrin and noticing his lack of companions. "Wait, where's-"

"Don't worry about that. Where is the Representative? How many were escorting him?"

"He went thataway." The Verpine pointed, Tyrin followed with his eyes. "And just one Republic agent, I think. Very shady looking fellow, always looking around suspiciously and whispering to himself and whatnot. Oh, and the rep was wearing plain clothes."

"You recognized him?"

"Well, yeah. Why wouldn't I?"

"Well, you all look pretty similar to me."

There was a pause here.

"That's really racist."

"Whatever. What was he wearing?"

"Oh, is that the only way you can tell us apart? Racist."

"Enough of that, now. What was he wearing?"

Once Tyrin had wrung that information from the Verpine mechanic, he vanished from sight once more and took off at a dead sprint. The four assassins followed dutifully, more than able to keep pace. This conflict would reach its climax soon enough, and Tyrin sorely hoped he would be on the winning team. Otherwise, it wouldn't matter how many Verpine faction leaders he snuffed out.

Kamon watched coolly as the Republic forces tried to take down a fleeing shuttle. He knew what they were doing thanks to the meld of A'dele. This was a priority target. That meant, they were going to take it down.

"Tractor beams. I want that ship."

The weapons systems operators fired up the two tractor beams. They landed out at the fleeing shuttle, intent on snagging it before they escaped their range. The two IFAS immediately flanking the larger AFAS moved forward to prove weapons cover. The other two moved to the rear, putting them in a box of five vessels with the larger AFAS at the center, trying to pull the shuttle in before the Imperials could get it.

The fighting continued in the asteroid as the fleet began operations. Behind it, and somewhat late for that matter, was the Republic Starship Surprise, under the direct command of none other than Jedi 'ahem' Padawan Wolan Tsomcren. Tsomcren was a veteran tactician, even though he was only 20. Since he was in his early teens (13 to be exact), he commanded hordes of Rattataki warriors across the plains of his homeworld, and commanded large capital ships against enemies. He was experienced. More than experienced
Standing in his quarters, he began to here his console bleeping. ''Sir'', his administrative yeoman told him, ''We`re approaching the field''.

Without saying a word, the young Jedi began walking to the bridge. Upon entrance, his First officer yelled: ''Commander on the bridge!''. Commander was his rank. He preferred the term Frigate Captain, since it sounded better for his ego. But that was his point. He wasn't a Knight yet, and he would prove himself, just like Ahsoka Tano did before him.

''Situation report, Commander Jenkins!'', Wolan ordered his Lt. Commander.

''We have squadrons of Imperial ships popping out of hyperspace'', he responded

''Alright, let`s do this ship to ship. Install a command console for the frigate to my fighter, and get the crews to their ships''

The crews were ready. 50 fighters, ready for launch. Wolan was at the head of them. He ordered his Lt. Commander to hold the bridge and receive orders from him, telling him he could mentally visualize patterns. He gave him specific orders that only they two knew. A little.... surprise for the Imperials. He then launched out of the hangar, followed by his 50 subordinates, directly towards the uncoming Imperials.

The only sound reverberating throughout the modified Scimitar-class Cruiser was the gentle hum of sublight engines operating at optimum efficiency. Within the meditation chamber, Lord Ashmedai's serenity was somewhat harshly interrupted by the mechanical sound of the pilot-droid's voice. "Master, we approaching the initial point of our final approach. It would appear there is a Sith task force already laying siege to the asteroid field around the destination."

Ashmedai slowly opened his eyes. Moving at a rather glacial pace, he retrieved his cloak and made his way back up to the second level. Entering the cockpit from the briefing room, Ashmedai glanced at the readings. Re-activating the sensor suite was protocol along with temporarily deactivating the cloaking device in the mission profile that the Sith Lord had programmed into the droid for this operation. "Well then. That's interesting." The Sith Lord had much more intrinsic thoughts about whoever that commander was, but words were so cheap these days.

"Master. They have changed the planned parameters of approach. There is a great deal more kinetic energy throughout the area due to increased debris. I now calculate a 20% chance of success."

"You forget whom you are speaking to."

"Lord Ashmedai, Sith Lord, Born on Corstris, Forty-five ye--"

"That was rhetorical. Get up and head down to engineering. Be sure everything functions as necessary."

"Yes, Master."

Once the droid had vacated the seat, Ashmedai settled in and reactivated the cloaking device. Opening himself to the Force, he initiated the approach to Roche G99. In a system that had literally become enveloped in conflict, a single cloaked ship slipping casually amongst asteroids and escape pods was hardly something to draw...singular...attention.

EN ROUTE TO THE GENERATOR ASTEROID
@[member="Kamon Vondiranach"] @[member="Iron Maiden"]

The commander of the Echani vessel clearly failed to realize the distance between his vessels and that of the shuttle. Not only were imperial ships commanded by the likes of @[member="Kaine Zambrano"] in the way of Kamon's advance, but he had only just rounded nickel one, whereas the shuttle had launched immediately. The Echani commander no doubt wished and longed for the glory of capturing the Sith representative, however his tractor beams were at the extreme end of their range.

The intelligent verpine pilots chattered quickly before finding a solution. Dump everything. Crates and canisters, everything not bolted down to the interior of the shuttle was chucked out an airlock, lightening the vessel considerable especially after they dumped the missiles they were carrying. With its lightened load, the shuttle broke the tractor beams pull. Of course, had it been a Death Star this would be a different story. As it was, the shuttle quickly outpaced the much heavier capital ships and continued on course for the generator asteroid.

Zaiden waited for the attack from @[member="Jaxton Ravos"], but the man slid past him and kept going. He got away, for now. Bringing his eyes to the young knight before him, he reached into the shadows around himself and pulled forth a long dark spear.

Launching it forward, Zaiden forced it solid and propelled it faster at @[member="Atrum Voidlighter"]. Holding his hand out, he began controlling the flight pattern.

ABOUT MOON DISTANCE FROM NICKEL ONE - SPACE
As the fighters began launching from the Surprise, which was conveniently placed out of Imperial cannon range. Being a long-range bombardment frigate, it could easily have opened fire on their lines. But it didn't, not to attract much attention. The fighters assumed formation

''All wings report in'', Wolan ordered via commlink

''A Leader standing by.... B Leader standing by... C Leader standing by...'', they answered, in almost movie-like sync

''Alright gentlemen, I want you to keep a good distance from the cruisers and engage any fighters you find. Don't get anywhere near their flaks'', he ordered

The squadron was headed straight towards the enemy fleet, either to pound their cruisers with bombs or to engage its fighters. The pilots were tense, Wolan sensed

At that point, Brunswick had somewhat recovered from his electrocution. He was concious, at least. When he returned to the battle ongoing infront of the facility, he saw despair. Yellow blood of the Verpines were everywhere. Not to forget, bodies of the intellectual insects stocked the ground near the entrance to the facility. To put it bluntly, it was a gruesome sight. There were only about fifteen or so Verpines left. Body parts and blood were flying everywhere again as grenade after grenade was lobbied to the group.

"This is your last chance, Senator. Surrender, or I'm going to be really, really pissed. You wouldn't like me when I'm pissed." came the Sith Lord's booming voice. Senator Brunswick groaned. If frying enemies by the dozens with his Force Lightning was what the Sith Lord did when he wasn't pissed, Brunswick had no desire to know what the Sith Knight would do when he was pissed. The Kuati senator, however, did not any desire to surrender, either. After taking a deep breath, Brunswick shouted at the top of his voice to those inside the facility. But instead of talking to the Sith Lord, he addressed the enemy Verpine that had now paused for a second in throwing their grenades to listen to what he had to say.

"People of Roche, look at yourselves!" shouted the senator to the Verpine in the facility. "Why have you come to killing your own kind? You must band together as one to ensure peace for your homeworld! I ask you now to join the Galactic Republic as we drive the Sith Empire away from Roche! Have you not seen what that Sith Lord was doing to your people? If the Imperials conquer Roche, they'll strip your planet of its resources and technology! They'll kill hundreds upon hundreds of you for sure! Fight for the Republic, my friends! Fight for it and you'll earn freedom!" Brunswick pulled out his blaster rifle and aimed it at the Sith Lord. "We're not your enemy. He is!" shouted the senator.

He had been on one of the ships in space before he had left it and was flying in the vaccum of space above the asteroid. With no need to worry about oxygen, his jetpack allowed him to move quickly as he came down, hearing the different voices of the Republic military speaking. Though, as he tuned them out, another voice spoke. It was Delexis, the Shard inside of him.

"Back in the heat of things again, huh? It feels so strange after all of these years."

"Yeah, well, be ready. I'm going to need the Force on these guys. Are you prepared to exert your power?"

"Is a Hutt slimy and disgusting?"

Leaving it at that, Rodo landed on the asteroid, making his way for the munitions facility. It was going to be his goal to defend the area with his life.

He watched the master bound off, leaving him with smokey. He watched as a spear was manifested and thrown his direction. However, in spite of it being guided, it was only a single point. He waited calmly until it was just about to reach him, and then using the Force to aid in his speed, whirled around it, the spear grazing the armored atmospheric suit he wore. It was no longer space worthy. Shame, that. He let out a sigh.

"I don't suppose you'd be good enough to let me get this junked armor off, would you?"

Zaiden slowly spread a dark smile across his face, the only evidence being his eyes cause his face was still hidden behind his faceplate, "Very well. Let me help you." Reaching out, he grabbed the front of his enemies armor and force pulled ferociously.

Asteroid G-99 - Hanger

What team would assemble was there, and it was sufficient enough to man the entire squadron of StealthXs. The soldier that had come running spouted some weird term, she assumed it was a callsign. She had no intention of using it. This was a quick run to get and do what needed to be done. Callsigns were for real squadrons. This was a makeshift team at best, but one that Selena felt somewhat confident about as word came to her that the fleets were starting to get into a tussle in the middle of the four major sites. This was good. This would focus attention and give her team the ability to move in cover.

"Alright, everyone load up," she said as she climbed up the latter to her cockpit. Once inside she began to give out the orders, "Keep comm to a minimal. We will be flying over a battle, do not engage unless we change objective. For now everything stays the same. We get to the Research Station and handle this super weapon."

With that she engaged the fighter's repulserlifts to get the thing off the ground then hit the engines forward out of the hanger. With that the team was speeding towards the Research Station, their course being an arc over the current battle that was very visible on the radars. It was going to be ugly, but the battle seemed to be favoring the Republic.

As Wolan began to approach the enemy battle line in his fighter squadron, he noticed that Selena Halcyon, his fellow Jedi, had begun to launch. He then tried to communicate with her

''Mistress Halcyon, me and my squadron are heading straight towards the Imperial line. We have one long-range frigate to serve as a mobile flak battery which can take out some of the enemy fighter picket. Do you have any orders for me?''
