Seemed like the galaxy had run him through the paces since last they'd run across each other's paths.
Which was a decent thing for everyone to have really. Sometimes a run in your life was a bad hand. Sometimes it was a Pure Sabacc. Her helmet offered a view of his actions without having to keep her eye on him, further lending to the credit of having some practice under his belt. Easily fetching his rifle without having to bend down.
"Yep, getting close to uh... 26 standard weeks now." Shaking her head as he rambled about their past encounter. A valid worry, but a reminder seemed in order. Then again he hadn't been as wrapped up in her life as some others were. And there was a lot more to unpack than just a kid.
"We didn't hook up, so no worry there. You got absolutely wasted since I kept giving you my drinks. Couldn't enjoy them back then with the meds I was on. Ended up having someone help me get you back to your ship." Humor plain in her tone at recalling the events. Every time he'd take a swill of his drink, she'd pour some of her own in it's place to make it seem never ending. Opting instead for a second glass of fruit juice at the time to avoid making another scene out of having to medically evacuate the contents of her stomach.
The humor faded however when the topic of Romi lingered.
"Yeah, I got a bit of time learning under her. Glad for it but wish I had longer. Galaxy lost a bright star with her passing." All the more she was willing to speak on it as she let her gaze turn to him. Visor looking him up and down as she oriented herself. He did seem a little shorter this time around as she chuckled.
"No. Wasn't always this tall. Story for later though since we are both heading in. I doubt they'll let us run riot for long undisturbed and comms should be clear." A deep sigh as she stretched her arms and legs, looking over the hub of Sith activity from their temporary hide.
"Might have left somebody-" Words cut off as something malevolent flickered through the Force. It wouldn't have caught her attention if it hadn't been for that odd there and gone sensation being so near with all that was going on. Further ahead, sith forces began to move on the citadel. Against her wishes to attack the staging area she changed her plan with a grumbling sigh.
"Chit. Time to improvise... again. Come on." Words barely leaving the speaker as she knelt forward and ignited both sabers. Lilac and brilliant white blades coming to life as she leaned into the Force to boost her speed. Caution thrown to the wind for the time being as she tried to locate that strange presence once again.
A blur of purple, white, and teal with no defined shape as she closed the distance between them and those moving on the citadel. The doors shutting as her blades struck their first target, the lilac blade momentarily stunning before the white blade ended them.
Her form still blurred as she cleared her mind as the first adversary fell away. Drawing her back to that pleasant quiet even amidst the chaos of the battlefield. There was no anger, or righteous fury to be found in her mind.
This violence was simply a means to an end, and she was the instrument to make it so.
