Varus Shatterstar
Finding Purpose
Location: Ahto City, Kolto Facility
Allies: [member="Kian Karr"] - [member="James Mathison"] - [member="Qae Shena"] - [member="Corvus Raaf"] - The Republic
Enemies: [member="Xilo Gale"] - One Sith
Objective 2: Hold the Kolto Facility
Varus was totally and completely protected behind the three or so inch thick durasteel door, considering the angle that the shots had come from. He knew that he would not need to move until the enemy was near, and so he continued to feel outward through the force, eyes closed and mind spanning through the facility slowly like an invisible fog slowly enveloping everything around them. That's when he sensed the others somewhere nearby in the facility. He could sense Kian clearly, but the other presences he couldn't quite place yet aside from the fact that he could easily tell their affiliation with the light.
It was a relieving feeling to know that there were sparks of light in so much darkness that impeded the peace lost only a few minutes before, but thoughts like this would have to take a back seat to the moment at hand. There was an enemy trying to best him, and he would fail and pay full price for the lives he took without cause. Death or Decay would be his price, and in that moment as the force set a twinge through his spine, Varus eyes shot open. He dashed back from the door as a saber burst through the durasteel and began to slowly cut through it, and in that moment, that split second, Varus had devised his plan.
Grabbing the latch to the door, Varus swung it free, the door sliding back into the wall next to him. As he threw the door open as quickly as he could he put pressure on it's edge with one hand intent on forcing [member="Xilo Gale"]'s saber to be caught, his blade hopefully pinched between the sliding durasteel door and durasteel wall in which it was trying to retract. That same moment Varus stepped through the halfway open door, raised his right leg and kicked at the young, white haired man. As he did, he aimed the bottom of his boot for his chest intent on planting it there in order to send him flying from the top of the tower staircase on which they stood.
