In time the savage bull doth bear the yoke [Techno Union Dominion of Ascension]

Her task here was really simple. There were representatives of the Techno Union Executive Council and Board of Directors, the ones that weren’t around for some sort of wedding, at least. Jenn didn’t like weddings, she really didn’t care for people all that much. Anyway, she could deal with most beings by the holonet and get plenty of interaction. The HoloNet was nice, it could handle about 95% of her needs, aside from food and water.

But right now, that didn’t matter. She had found use for the metals of the world, and was securing permissions from other companies within the Union. The TU would show up on the world and grant the others use of these processes as well as helping introduce a more established system of higher learning. Between that, there wasn’t much else the Union could offer, aside from the security of the automated fleet, and hopefully a set up of the Obsidian Order here.

Maybe SpyNet could use that as a base.

At the wedding

Raziel pretended to remove something from under his nail. The vol-au-vent's and champagne had been particularly good, but the conversation had been excruciatingly dull. Not that he had ever been consciously engaged in it. His mind simple reflected the expectations of the other parties. It was instinctive, natural, his camouflage.

He paused as his senses touched on a rather different emotional hue. Mandalorians, they were the least subtle of all the cultures of the galaxy. Perhaps the Yuuzhan Vong were worse, but then he would not have picked up their surge of aggression through the Force.

Reading into one pocket, he pulled out a small device and tapped two soft keys on the screen. It seemed the afternoon's entertainment had arrived.

As traditional Indupar music swelled through loudspeakers, noblemen and women craned their necks to get a glimpse of the bride walking down the aisle. Princess Kallisto finally appeared in her strapless, white dress. It was obvious she was carrying a child, but the cut of the dress was flattering just the same. And like most brides-to-be, as she slowly and gracefully swept along the path, her train being held by handmaidens, she focused in on King Blackmoore. Thais had no parents to give her away as the King and Queen of Isis were murdered by the time she was an adolescent. She had some distant relatives on the guest list, but no one as close as her courtiers and Xander.

And finally she was there, standing before the King. He looked resplendant in his tuxedo, his face still rugged, hair slightly unkempt. Although his eyes betrayed his deep love for her, he probably couldn't wait for all of the pomp and circumstance to be over. She clasped his hands, longing to give him just a kiss on the cheek even, but she only faced him and waited patiently for the ceremony to begin.

The music stopped, and the Officiant cleared his throat. The exchange of vows was about to begin...

The limousine containing team two, aka the Wedding Crashers, pulled slowly to its designated spot where, under normal circumstances the blushing bride and groom would rush to in order to escape the wedding goers and drive off into the sunset to live happily ever after. Granted the limousine was a few minutes early, and the reception was still to be had, from the looks of it there was a beautiful cake and an open bar. Blast. If we had been invited we could have crashed the wedding a bit differently. "Alright kids. Wait for Vilaz to take the shot, then unleash all kinds of pain. Clear out guards and try to keep from wasting random women and children."

Anticipation was all that was left, the grenade launcher primed, tinted windows obscuring the cockpit and basically one way mirrors in the back with how tinted they were. I hefted the heavy thing, readying as best I could, taking a deep breath and centering myself. Calm, relaxed. It was just gonna be a fun fight so might as well be chilled and calm to be ready for it. I felt a little bad for the poor sap she was marrying, whoever he was. Part of me wondered if he deserved having his wedding crashed, but then again, its not like anyone had ever paid me any favors. All I had were chilling memories of everyone I ever cared about dying, turning on me, or abandoning me. He might as well get used to that, that is what life is.

Cold, calm, collected.

<The Force favors only the Strong.>

The thought echoed through my mind. There would be a few capable of holding their own here.

As the wedding ceremony took place on the banks of Lake Verona, deadly predators lurked in the depths below. They weren't the typical beasts one would normally find in such a place, however. They were mercenaries dispatched by the Black Sun Syndicate to guard the event, and were hired by the soon-to-be princess herself. She feared someone would try and kill her, and had spent quite a large sum making sure events didn't occur.

The 10-man team had spent the night before waterproofing all of their equipment so it would operate fine in the depths of the lake. They had attached flippers to their booths, and modified the filters on their helmets. They were all set for both aquatic and surface warfare, both of which were possibilities in their current situation.

Cutter and and his men lurked thirty feet or so below the surface, where nobody would detect them. Several designated marksmen waited on the mansion's roof and in the windows, ready to signal the team if they were needed. He nodded to one of the team members, Luthian. "You ready for this?" If he remembered correctly, this'd be her first job with the Suns. Always good to check up on the rookies before their first run, to make sure their heads were in the game.

This spoiled brat would learn her lessons, for making the grave mistake of putting a bount on every son and daughter of Mandalore. Unfortunately, for the princess, she wasn't going to be given the opportunity of negotiations, but she would be involuntarily receiving a firefight from a few members of the men and women she targeted with thousands of promising credits to her champions that would successfully bring what she hated. Only a spirt with so much bravery would do such a thing against legendary warriors; yet, bravery was another word for stupidity, and that stupidity would only have the brave fighter have his head decapitated and sent to her contractor. Unsurprisingly, many wouldn't have their greed of multiple digits of credits bring them to their downfall, but that only came from the personal perspective of the Redneck since no challenger dared to confront him and demand his surrender.

But before someone would attempt to collect the bounty on his head he would have to pay his regards to the composer of this act with other friendly hands that found this menacing. And it would scar the princess forever and ruin the list happiest moment her would could ever greet. Their assault would not just warn the brat, but also other Bounty Hunters planning out on getting a prey that would make them rich and wealthy.

He was in position just as Draco told him to be in. Almost at the very edge of the beautiful river Vilaz was laying down on his belly aiming at the opposite side of him, with his unique crossbow, that appeared to be the wedding with camouflage attached to his armor. He was waiting until one person showed up: the officiant. He was the man that would bring this happy couple together and united as one. Suddenly, the officiant dressed up all holyness came in to sight with the groom and the bride. Now he began to listen closely to the broadband antenna integrated on his helmet picking up the noises and frequencies from the wedding. As he listened with much concentration he aimed with great accurate through the scope of his crossbow.

And there it was, the cue that would cause Vilaz to pull the trigger as the officiant began the wedding vows. The roar of thunder could be heard when the Mandalorian pulled the trigger which sent a high velocity bolt to the head of the officiant. Blood would be sprayed on the face and dresses of both the groom and bride, with the arrow going through the skull and brain of the officiant that still went flying until it decelerated and landed in some random location. After roar of thunder from Orar'Bev and the chaos going through the attendants it would signal Draco and those in the second team to roll out the heavy weaponry and unleash volleys of slugs, blasters, and grenades.

A grin appeared on his face, and said to himself, "A toast to the newly wed," and began reloading Orar'Bev to pick a new victim.

Stardust started rolling the sun roof back letting the light come in, she sighed checking one last time before nodding and moving to get ready to pop up and start firing

She then listened an dheard the loud boom popping up and spinning the gun up before unleashing a torrent of pure fire, the gun aimed at the crowd and any guards she could see....it was safe to say there would be many causalities within a few seconds of the gun being fired... And she wouldn't stop till the ammo ran out

When the first shot roared out, hitting the Officiant with a pop and then a splatter, the Princess dropped her bouquet and covered her ears. As soon as she was able to breathe, she let out a tremendous scream as though she was set to be the first Horror Holomovie victim to die. Her parents had been executed when she was twelve years old, and now her own worst fears of assassination were coming true.

The courtiers which had been lined up on either side of the bride and groom scattered. Most of the Battledroids, however, began firing towards the perceived threat and marched over to the lake with the Mandalorian bounty hunter in their sights. The rest surrounded Thais with their metal bodies. She was protected at this very moment, but if the droids moved, and Thais with them, a sniper may have a lucky shot.

But inexplicably, she shouted at the droids, "Get off of me! I have to get out of here!" Thais was panicked and in a state of shock. She was no longer afraid to die herself, but for Abigail's sake she needed to find safety. The Princess burst through the cover of the droids and ran up the aisle back towards the estate, not waiting for Xander or anyone else to give her instructions on what to do.

It was only after she had reached the threshold of the luxury mansion, that she realized the entire front of her dress was spattered with blood and mystery guts from the innocent Officiant.

Raziel sat motionless as the first shot rang out. Not just still, not a normal person sitting and watching. The utter, complete lack of motion was unique in its nature. People were moving, people were screaming.

The corner of his mouth twitched upwards.

In his mind he was making connections. The three dimensional map contained in his churning conciousness was beyond the visual. Each mind had an emotion, it had a focus, it had a goal. Somebody pushed him as they ran past. The spymaster was like the willow, swaying at the pressure, but returning to his natural resting state.

Emerald eyes turned upwards to look at the row of chairs ahead of him, mentally mapping how many steps it would take him to reach the place his weapons were hidden. Not many. If he focussed he could cover them in the time it took most to pull a trigger.

The spymaster idly wondered who he was going to kill first today.

The bottom of the lake seemed like another odd world, the light beyond the water's boundaries providing a strange yet captivating glow. The current brushing against the rocky lake floor didn't seem to budge Luthian Omondon, whom was merely waiting for the anything to happen. When she'd accepted the wedding job, she expected there to be more action. Sitting at the bottom of the lake was not action, Just complete boredom. Luthian's normal modified valnex battle suit was in the shop, being worked on after a major denting. So she was ready to endure the combat to come in a spare Dura-armor suit, something she'd scraped up and remodeled a while back- before she'd reprogrammed Tajje. So this spare suit didn't have her usual communications upgrades. Despite this setback, she wasn't all to upset with the underwater installations. I sense a shop day in the near future. she thought.

Luthian's glowing yellow visor turned to a man who'd nodded towards her, and asked if 'she was ready'. Luthian, juding by her usual nature, wanted to snort in annoyance and say something defensive. But that would have been a bad idea. You and Tags just joined, no point in getting kicked out on the first job.

"I'm always ready." Luthian said shortly, the voicebox in her helmet messing with her natural voice. It made her hard to understand in her thick foreign accent.

Alas, silently, she had a feeling Tajje was nearby.

The lake was like a welcoming and slimy blanket, lathering the commando droid in its forever moving liquid currents. The murkiness of the lake was like the shadows he was so fond of, the dark friend who followed him everywhere, faithful in consuming him and concealing him. The only thing that the revealed the commando droid was his thin slits for eyes, which glowed a calm and patient hue of turquoise, matching the waves and monotony of the lake perfectly.

T-19 would never make a sound, as his HUD familiarized him and updated him constantly on his surroundings. He noticed how the lake was so full of motion, beauty and life, and how the others didn’t seem to be enjoying themselves. Organics never realized how beautiful or how strange their type of life form could be. If the lake and it’s creatures had been synthetic, then the beauty of the lake would have been stolen, which was ironic since the lake was mathematically just a bunch of chaos. T-19’s helm would never stray away from looking at the surface of the water, his hollow optical sensors glowing with an unreadable light. It would seem that the Commando droid was not doing anything but focusing, though T-19 had never deemed it a crime to notice his surroundings.

He would locate his ally, Luthian, after she seemed to make a distasteful fidget after what the boss said. This was their first mission together, and T-19 calculated that Luthian was perhaps a little impatient as to get things started. T-19 would rotate his helm to their leader.

"...Son of a bit-", The Chiss quickly spun around, his right hand dropping down to wrap around the wooden handle of his slugthrower revolver, quickly pulling it from the holster, cocking the hammer back four pegs. The opposite hand reached for the blade on his belt, which he quickly unlatched and raised into the air. "Sergeant, take the men over near the isle. Keep firin' at those scumbags until hell freezes over. Understood?", The General did not bother waiting for a response as he quickly fired a shot into the air, stumbling backwards as the woman sprinted past her.

Firing yet another shot towards the roof, his gaze quickly drifted back over to his men, who were setting up beside the pews, firing and shouting at the top of their lungs like a pack of wild dogs. Quickly, the Chiss proceeded to sprint halfway, but quickly stopped himself as a slug or blaster caught the sergeant right in the temple, sending him sprawling to the ground in a thud.

Turning around, he quickly slid his revolver raised his revolver, sprinting off in the direction of the woman. As he proceeded to get relatively close to her, he spun around, firing off three shots at the roof. Due to his revolver being incredibly inaccurate, there was almost no chance of hitting anything at that distance.

Everything went to hell quickly. How had Xander been so foolish to let his nervousness cloud his connection to the environment around him? The officiant was dead, and he should have sensed the shot coming before it ever happened. Blood hit his tuxedo, and Thais panicked. She took off running before Xander could stop her. Insitnct kicked in and Xander called his lightsabers to his hands. He ignitied them as he ran off to make sure Thais and Abigail were safe. The security team could help handle the reat of the assailants, but no one else was going to protect his wife and unborn daughter. Despite the interruption, Xander still considered this his wedding day, and one way or another, they would be husband and wife by the end of it.

"Thais, let's get you out of here," he said as he kicked the door of the mansion open.

If this was his palace he'd be able to hide in the secret passage system throughout, but this was not his palace. He cursed under his breath for agreeing to a wedding anywhere other than Indupar now. He had wanted to seem congenial to the idea, and the fact Thais had made a politically motivated decision. Vizios was proud of her for it, but now he was regretting the fact he agreed. It was selfish of him, and he knew it, but their future rested on the child in her womb. The safety of that child was paramount to everything they had planned and discussed.

"C'mon, let's get inside and figure out the game plan. We have to get off this planet, and hopefully unnoticed. That means we got to get you out of that dress and into something you can move in."

Malik grinned, this was what he waited for. "Not much of a fight if you to scared to go hand to hand now is it?" Malik pulled out his DL-44 and started firing at the roof more or less just trying to distract the assailants. As he fired he began to reach for his belt, think of when to launch the thermal imploder at the assailants. Just keep them distract for a little longer. Once the couple are gone then I get to go crazy Malik thought to himself.

Thais was so relieved to see Xander behind her. She hadn't meant to bolt off like a frightened doe, but either panic or maternal instinct had taken over her body. It was rare she saw him with his lightsabers, but even though he could probably have taken on a good portion of the assailiants himself, he had run to her side.

"Agreed," she said. "I seriously doubt the Officiant was the target, and in that case, we better hurry." She seemed to have recovered some of her wits about her, although one of her arms was wrapped around the underside of her belly as though she was having labor pains. She wasn't, but all of this running, stress and activity could bring on early labor. They definitely needed to escape.

Dashing up the staircase, she went back to the bridal room and began to rifle through her luggage. "There isn't too much I brought that would fit the bill," she said, flinging clothing everywhere. But finally, she found a type of exercise body glove and began to strip off her dress. Where it didn't come off easily, Thais just ripped the material until she was finally out of it. His eyes lingering upon her honeymoon lingerie would have to wait. She re-dressed into the black body glove and checked her bags one more time to make sure she didn't need to take anything vital with her.

Standing in the middle of the chaos Shargon remained. The entire time his eyes on his Bounty target. As the woman moved he moved also but rather slowly and casually. Watching Thais run to a large home with her husband made the Spacer looking figure a smile. Red eyes fleshed briefly he walked to the door. The door was open it had be kicked over after all, With the chaos making a good distraction Shargon examined his surroundings well. Mostly furnite and decor in the house but it some of the stuff could be used for his gain maybe... Only time could tell. Walking around the house Shargon glared at [member="Darth Vizios"] through his black spacer helmet. There was no face only smoke.

Next came the eerie broken voice. " Where is the woman? Can I se..ee He...err. Ca....nnnn I make... Her.... Safe?" his voiced echoed oddly in the room though he was wearing a suit. Taking out a Vibro dagger from his pocket he slowly approached the Spacer Wizard ready to throw a strike at the man infront of him.

Apparently Jenn was going to handle the whole meeting herself. That was fine, but it just meant she spent a lot of time on the HoloNet. And with her clearance from the former Foreman, she was able to make a lot of judgement calls for the Union itself. She smiled as she looked at the Techno Union representatives and nodded. She tapped her ear and took a place near the door. There was another Obsidian with her, from Bha’lir, the warriors.

She offered a pretty lame smile to her war mongering counterpart and nodded as she opened up the holonet on her forearm.. “Seems like they’ll want to get clean water here, probably can use something from one of our partner companies to desalinate the water, and another to freshen it, and adjust it for flavor.” She whispered to the representative.

What? This was the Techno Union. They had a lot of money and could do a whole lot of different things.

“If they’re looking to sell, we’re always in the market for material…”

She only knew of the name.

Alen Na'Varro.

What information she could glean meant that this particular world was his home. As such, with the way things were working, an appointment was to be made. The question was, would he be there?

While others were taking care of their own matters, this particular venture would seemingly bring Danger Arceneau for one of many specific objectives. The ocean faring shipyards, what manner of metal ores were here for exportation, and aquaculture with the fishing industry.

Finding Na'Varro was just the cherry on top.

The roar of Vilaz's shot sprayed blood over the bride and groom. Time to go. I could already hear the rotary blastercannon buzzing at the guards and droids set up to guard the ceremony. With the wedding party and the guests between us and the lake, the only place for the guests to run to was down the beach and around us. The good news was there was a mansion to strip clean and burn to the ground after we were done. The bride and groom were booking it away towards that mansion as fast as they could and utter chaos was erupting from their guests. There were a few being reasonable, but most were going nuts.

Slipping out of the driver's seat and standing with the limousine as cover, i brought the heavy grenade launcher up. The whole point of this was to send a message, that she was not safe if Mandalore wanted her dead. Sending a message one concussion grenade at a time. I sent off a grenade into the crowd. The concussion grenade went off above the crowd intended to burst ear drums, break equilibrium and be overall a loud pop and a scary noise to drive guests away and out of the kill zone. Which was fairly large.

The second grenade was sent off aimed for a group of security droids trailing behind the bride and groom. A frag round in their midst would be fun, and there wasn't any reason to fight them again when we went for that mansion and all the rich things that were there.
