Eh. It's like running into a bar in Texas, screaming "Cowboys Suck", then walking over to the pool table like "No. I'm busy with this gentleman over here. You'll have to wait your turn." to each person that runs up to deck you in the jaw.
IC and OOC... it's not so much about the moral high ground as trying to have common sense. "If you pick a fight... the fight comes. Don't try to hide from it."
She wasn't the Republic Fleeter, yet she assumed command of the military situation and engage in talks with the leader of the assaulting forces.
She's writing for the entirety of the NPC's in Nickel One, and yet she's demanding that she be ignored so that she can have her duel.
Her actions are affecting multiple writers, and yet the responses of those writers are being denied in favor of an unofficial duel. Individual writers/characters were suppose to be restricted to a handful of NPC's and were to be wielded against similarly sized forces of NPC's (plus PC leader) from the opposing side.
I've no idea why the Republic team is allowing Ali to dictate so much of the battlefield and story of the thread. But if she's going to have broad, sweeping effects on the thread, then she needs to be prepared for the responses to those effects.

I'm pretty sure Ali is the Supreme Commander so she would have IC jurisdiction on the station for all military personnel. Though I'm not 100% sure how that works, after all this is just a big pvp thread. So I'm not sure why or what's going down.

Sounds like a sticky situation, and not the fun kind. The kind where you get syrup on your hands after spilling your flap jacks on the floor in a futile attempt to catch them. I'd honestly just take it to a pm and talk it out.

At this point I'm just going to calm down, drink something with a % on the label, and then write up a post. I'm going to have fun, continue with the story, and beat the ever-living-feth out of everything that stands in Larraq's way. If that's the scattered Republic and Friends Fleet... cool. If that's Larraq putting an 8,000,000,000 credit bounty on Ali Hadrix's head (literally, just the head), then that's what will happen.
We'll have to see how it plays out.
