When we're decided I'll label it with text, but basically the big circle in the middle is Nickel One, the two smaller ones are other large asteroids. The X like shapes are small space stations, the T like tubes mining ships.

Thoughts?

Hmm... I was thinking spreading out those clusters of asteroids to that they... evenly but irregularly cover... everything. That's just how I view the Roche system as being organized.

However! I'd like to hear the input of the others involved in the fleeting thread.

I'm only an ally with three ships, but I am good with either as is it more scattered asteroids. If my ships are doing a lot of maneuvering, then I'm screwed.

I'm in agreement with Larraq in that I envisioned more asteroids on the map.

Granted, I don't want to spend the entire engagement figuring out how to navigate through asteroids just to get to Larraq's fleet, but I guess I was expecting more concealment and cover.

While we're on the topic, are we all in agreement that the asteroid field is laid out in a disk-like arrangement with relatively open areas on top and bottom?

I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. I'm totally cool with the story that has developed here. I'm surprised to see such an interesting story developing spontaneously within an invasion, and it's fantastic! We just can't let it overwhelm us. The spirit of "PvP" play is people get together, fight each other, and have fun. Having to deal with an entire team isn't my purpose for being here, and won't become it.

So I won't be taking on groups of people. I'll be doing what pretty much everyone else is doing: Taking on a single challenger at a time, or multiple challengers with an equal number of partners. And that's that.
