Incidentally, what kind of chemical weapon are we dealing with?

The most common weaponized types are Pulmonary (i.e. Chlorine), Blood (i.e. Hydrogen Cyanide), Blister (i.e. Sulfur Mustard), and Nerve (i.e. Sarin) agents.

Nerve agents tend to be the most lethal, but the others are easily as horrific

My my...that stuff's a nasty piece of work...

The journal entries about it in particular are pretty intriguing.

Contact nerve gas. If it gets on your skin, it'll still kill you. Fully sealed environmental suits and rebreathers are the only way to protect yourself. That, or an anti-nerve toxin antidote administered immediately or nearly immediately.

Incidentally, did you design the bombs with additional triggers to prevent tampering with them? If so...well...even if it can't be disabled, it'll still be possible to prevent the worst of the effects, but it'll be a bit more complex than simply letting it go off in a sealed room (as unless the room is pressure-sealed, which it most certainly isn't, as this is a library we're talking about, some of it can still escape into the atmosphere).

If I remember correctly (I pulled my back yesterday at work and am sprawled on the sofa on my phone, so finding links is hard for me at the moment), each of the bombs has layers of redundancies. Multiple fuses, wirings, detonators, and the like. Essentially, it's a big bomb with a big canister of Mortis Caligine with a veritable multi-layered bird's nest of wiring and such to blow it up.

Also, Agnusdei opening windows and vents and such was more to just eat up time in a post lol The bomb would cause overpressure and blow out the windows and perhaps the walls of the place, spraying the chemicals all over. I'm posting tonight-ish once more with the Doctor, then the post after the bombs will blow.

I should have clarified, my apologies. It's been a few hours since the very first post, meaning the start of the invasion.

I was not stating the force would make you immune. I was stating the force holds ways of overcoming every obstacle, even poison gas.

I can think of about a dozen ways i could save myself with the force, even from nerve gas.
