Invasion of Teta

Shouldn't we evacuate the city or something... or at least tell the citizens to close all doors/windows or get into their starships?

EDIT: Actually, since the planet is being invaded, most citizens have already done that or hid in shelters. ;)

Ah, fair enough. I misinterpreted your meaning, there. As for avoiding it, you're character is a non-mammal, I'd assume. You'd be fine, although very sick, until a great deal of exposure. I'm guessing five to ten minutes of exposure until you're having to worry about it being lethal to you.

Most of us are in the middle of combat.

Personally, when i see a cloud of an aerosol gas headed towards me i try not to let it touch me. Shara would do the same.

time to run I guess
as I don`t think my bandage will cope.
Can we have signal to run?
[member="Darth Isolda"] has warned every single One Sith of what is to come. Though running won't help much unless you can make it to a ship, or me, or another smart master.

Honestly, within reason, I don't care or mind if folks avoid damage or hits from this stuff. It's pretty darn near a One Hit KO weapon, so I personally don't expect most folks to take hits or die from this stuff. That said, please don't just handwave out of it lol Anyways, the purpose of the stuff isn't to party-wipe the invasion, just for Agnusdei to bail in style and without interruptions while everyone is scattering.

Also, [member="Darth Shara"], you'll wanna PM me on one of the planets you were gifted in the map update. The Character to PM would be [member="Juro Tanaka"]

Actually, it's only got an active life of, perhaps, 15-30 minutes. Afterwards, it just breaks down. The chemicals are still harmful at that point, but not nearly as lethal.
It would still have lasting ramifications on Empress Teta, mostly psychological. And of course we would blame it on the Republic. Sweet sweet propoganda.

The gas isn't actually a gas. It's technically an aerosol based chemical. It would mix with the water and render it nonpotable. It would also make the water poisonous and it would still make you sick. Your character is amphibious, so it wouldn't be instantly fatal to you, though longer exposure (5-10 minutes) could prove lethal. That said, any non-lethal contact would make you very sick.

Fair enough, although if the windows are transparisteel they might hold, and the walls are probably sturdy enough. Where it'll be most likely to cause a breakout would be the frames for the windows and doors, which could simply push the windows and doors open if not off completely.

Also, Albrecht may not necessarily know that aspect about chemical weapons. He's far from an explosives expert (though he knows about the types of warheads used on starfighter-mounted weapons, this is a completely different type of bomb), so he's only doing what he thinks might be effective damage control in the event of triggering the bomb accidentally, or taking too long to disarm it.

Also, I'm surprised you didn't use sulfur mustard gas. That stuff can linger for months if the conditions are right.
