SPECIAL FEATURES
Able to not only protect the bearer from some of the elements like sun/wind/rain/snow, but also from light blaster fire. When the umbrella is down, it's capable of parrying and blocking strikes from a lighstaber.

Strengths:
¤Weather Barrier - Able to protect the bearer from weather elements like a typical umbrella
¤Blaster Resistant - Able to absorb some blasterfire when the umbrella is up, as well as block blasterfire when the umbrella is down.
¤Lightsaber Resistant - Able to block and parry lightsaber strikes when the umbrella is down.
¤Button Activated - A button on the handle opens up the umbrella for better ease.

Weaknesses:
¤Not Flame Resistant - Although the umbrella can withstand some blaster fire and lightsaber contact, it cannot handle it for an extended period, nor can it protect the bearer from flamethrowers, thermal detonators/grenades or explosions
¤Time Delay - In a pinch, the bearer can wield the umbrella like any sword, but opening the umbrella up takes a second, no matter how quick the reflexes of the bearer.

DESCRIPTION

Given that Kay is such a magnet for trouble and hides her Force abilities more so than she uses them, it was suggested that she gained herself better protection that she could hide well for someone in her position. So she thought up an idea of an umbrella.

After obtaining the rare Orichalcum ore for her help in finding a cure for the Incursion black substance, she enlisted the help of an artisan by the name of Risa Toole to help her to create it. The ore itself was heavy and dense, but plating it overtop of the lightweight Agrinium was a good match and kept the umbrella from being too heavy to be functional. The fabric consisted of an armourweave woven with tiny strands of melted and pressed Orichalcum to enable it to withstand some blasterfire. With the push of a button on the handle, the umbrella springs itself open as one would expect.

And given that the umbrella should be fit for a Queen, the Commenori Pluviam is decorated with various bits of gold, bronze and silver coloured lace to make it's appearance much more grand and not out of place as an accessory to her gowns.

-If spilled, the green liquid can stain material, depending on the strength of the tea.

DESCRIPTION

Sapir tea used to be a common drink for the Jedi and aristocrats of Coruscant back in the day. But it's popularity fell as many other drinks took over the market. The green tea offers a soothing and calming affect to those that drink it, which some people can find addicting. It's rich and aromatic scent makes it easy to drink without having to add milk, creams or sugars. But some still prefer to do so anyways.

The Sapir Tea leaves can be found growing on Bakura where Miss Shea had founded her own Tea Emporium which houses many different blends of tea and are shipped across the Galaxy.

What makes Sapir Tea unique is that one can never oversteep it, for the leaves dissolve in boiled water, making that perfect cup every time.

Combat Function: Olivia doesn't fight, nor does she tend to find herself in combat situations. Her demeanor tends to make others wary over challenging her authority. But if push came to shove, it wouldn't be beneath her to throw in a punch. There just might not be a whole lot of power to it.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Olivia Hughes has lived on Commenor all of her life. Born to a good family that served the Elders, she found herself working as house staff at the Presidential Palace. Over the years she worked her way up to Head of the House where she oversees all of the Palace staff; organizing their schedules, their pay, plus the hiring and firing of them. Being a lady that is a genuine workaholic, she also took it upon herself to assist Kay when she rose to power as the Monarch.

As time passed, Olivia grew quite fond of the Royal family and did her best to ensure that everything that was under her control ran smoothly. No one messed with Olivia, for they didn't want to be on the recieving end of one of her icy stares. Most were quite relieved to know that she wasn't a Force user, otherwise her stare would have more bite than it already did. It was always better to just do whatever she said. Which most did anyways.

Olivia never married and has had no children. Her life is her work and her work is her life. There is nothing else and she's quite content with that.
