She had a point.

Kaile, The Messa, just passing through the galaxy, it was his passion. He couldn't give it up as much as she couldn't give up training in the force. He would never force her to do such a thing, and she would never allow him to. In a way it was what made them a good couple, or at least what he thought. They didn't try to hold one another back, didn't try to control each other. Kurt was no expert in relationship but he thought that was a good sign.

"It's nice to think about though." Kurt said as he moved forward and kisses her again.

The idea of living in a place like this? It was a nice thought, something fleeting. The Messa was nice, and with the money and he and Kaile would soon get it would be even nicer, but it had nothing on a tropical island in the middle of paradise. He smiled slightly, for a moment allowing his thoughts to run wild with what he could do while living in a place like this. Would he get bored eventually? Maybe, but at least he would have Jamie by his side.

"Tomorrow." Kurt started as his other hand came up from the sand and slowly settled on her thigh. "I want to explore that other island."

Jamie stretched her arms above her head, letting out a small yawn. It seemed that the caffeine high she'd been riding since the start of the trip had finally begun to wear off. As the girl's hands came down they formed small fists, using the space between her thumbs and index fingers to rub her eyes.

"That sounds fun to me! Maybe we can climb over that rock formation we saw on the way in?" Perhaps there were other things they might find there as well. "Maybe we'll find some ancient buried treasure too!" She laughed, twirling herself around to face Kurt, her left leg swinging over his lap as she sat on top of his thighs, causing him to sink his bottom into the sand beneath the water. Her hands cupped his cheeks, leaning down to kiss him.

"How are things with The Messa, and Kaile, anyway?" The blonde felt somewhat embarrassed for not asking too often about either subject. There wasn't much of a reason why she didn't, but she often thought Kurt wanted to keep the three things in his life at least a bit separated from one another, even if Kaile lived with him aboard the ship. Making their situation awkward wouldn't help anyone.

He smirked. "Funny you mention treasure."

Kurt had wanted to keep this from her, at least until it was a sure thing.

"Kaile and I found something." The small smile on his face grew bigger. "A bunker. Some remnant of one of the Old Empire's. It was filled to the brim with...well weapons, armor, tanks, pretty much everything you would expect from a place like that. We recorded it all, dug a little bit into the history and...well we laid claim to it."

Treasure it was, though not gold. "We're going to sell it to a planetary defense force in the outer rim. It's worth a lot...but we figure out there it can do some good, help a planet protect itself from pirates and raiders. The money we're going to get will go to fixing up The Messa a bit. New Hyperdrive, new hull, a few other things that need fixing up after a year or two of wear and tear."

From the tone of his voice it was easy to tell that Kurt was as giddy as a school kid.

He loved The Messa, it was the only thing in the galaxy that he could really call his own, the only thing that was his. Upgrading it was perhaps one of the only passions that he truly had, and the story of how he got to do that? Discovering a long lost bunker? Helping a world defend itself? That just seemed to sweeten the deal entirely. A wide smirk pulled across his lips, fingers gently pulling her closer so he could plant another kiss on her lips.

"It'll make things a lot easier." Kurt said, having always worried a bit about money. "I won't be rich...but...well I can come see you more and do things like this."

The Courier gestured to the scenery around them.

"Really!?" Her voice was partially confused and partially delighted, though it was hard to tell which was more prominent as she blurted out the single word. "That's crazy! You just...Found it? By accident?" It wasn't often you heard of people simply stumbling over an entire defensive armament suitable to be salvaged and sold to another world as a functional upgrade.

Jamie rested her arms over Kurt's shoulders, the bit of water that clung to her form ran down her arms and softly splashed drop after drop away. "That's impressive! I'm happy for you!" She worried for a moment though, the way he'd worded this, it sounded almost as if he were trying to assure her that he could somehow fit himself into this strange society she had been a part of since childhood; To make himself a bit wealthier and stand out more either in the eyes of her parents when the time came to meet them, or to her.

"You know though, that I don't need this" She gestured with her hand, "To be happy, right? And I can come see you sometimes, also. I'm not strictly tied down to Cartao."

He nodded. "Yeah. We just...found it. The entire thing was crazy, and somewhat dangerous."

Kurt hadn't quite mentioned the hazards that they had faced inside of the Bunker, but there was no need to scare her, no need to scare her about his safety. He smiled slightly as she gestured towards everything around her, his fingers gently pressing her skin as he pulled himself closer and kissed her.

"I know." He admitted. A part of him denied that idea though, a part of him thought that Jamie was accustomed to a certain style of living and that he had to provide for that style. A weekend camping was different than a life lived on a ship. It was something he'd thought about when they first found the Bunker, it was something he constantly thought about after getting off a holo-call with her. Kurt wanted to be good to Jamie, he wanted to be good for Jamie. It was partially why he'd agreed to sell the contents of the bunker to a PDF instead of a crime lord. He was trying to be better.

A smirk spread across his face when she mentioned leaving Cartao.

"Oh?" He inquired. "Where would you like to come see me? Kashyyyk? Dac? Tatooine maybe?"

Kurt knew that Jamie wanted to see the galaxy, and Tatooine was tacked on as a hint that he wanted to take her home.

Jamie leaned her head down against Kurt's exposed shoulder, kissing her way lightly along to his neck, cheek, and finally settled against his lips. Her eyes, soft and blue, stared into his for a few long moments before shifting above them to the sky. The blue above rivaling the water below in terms of beauty.

"Anywhere you are, I would like to be." She said finally, returning her eyes to settle on his once more. "That's where I want to see you; Everywhere."

So long as they wound up together it wouldn't make the slightest bit of difference to her whether that was on Spira, The Messa, Tatooine, Naboo, or an uncharted planet on the fringes of space. For just a moment her mind wandered towards the life they might have once she'd finished training and was free to move about relatively unburdened. What and where would she go? The Messa wasn't exactly her home, and intruding on that space that he'd shared with Kaile seemed somewhat wrong. But that was perhaps a discussion for another time.

"What did you have in mind? Anything?"

There were few places that Kurt had never visited, few planets that he had always wanted to see. Most worlds that he had dreamed about were dangerous for her, with either the One Sith holding influence there or controlling them outright. He would not risk bringing Jamie to such places, not with the reputation the Sith had for taking Jedi and twisting them. He frowned slightly, just for a moment before he smiled slightly, his nose nuzzling against her own.

"How about Dantooine?" He asked her.

It was a world that not many thought too unique, but Kurt had always wanted to go there.

The planet was filled with massive open fields, rocky mountains, and plains that seemed to stretch on forever. There was a simplicity to the planet, as though it were the perfect terrestrial world. In many ways it was the grand opposite of Tatooine. Instead of a wasteland of nothing but sand Dantooine seemed to be filled with nothing but life. It was a boring place to many, but for Kurt it provided one important opportunity that many had never even considered; opportunity.

Kurt liked that, the idea of it, what the future could hold in such a place.

Dantooine?

Star system location and navigation was hardly her strong suit. She knew about where it was, and recalled from her schooling that it was at the very least inhabitable and temperate. It incorporated many of the same aspects that could be found on Naboo and other similar planets. Expansive mountain ranges, rolling grasslands, exotic trees and wildlife, rivers and oceans. Despite that, because it was located somewhere in the outer rim it was more sparsely populated than Naboo, or city and industrial worlds closer to the core.

"That sounds wonderful." She said with a pleased smile. "Let's do that next then."

The blonde took a moment to slip her hands away from Kurt's shoulders, the pads of her fingers beginning to wrinkle from the prolonged exposure to the salty ocean waters. That was when she dug her feet into the sand below and stood up and over Kurt, looking down at him for a moment. "Think we ought to check on the lines and start the fire?"

Kurt looked up at Jamie, still floating in the water. He gave her half a sly smile, his fingers slowly floating over as his hand wrapped around her thigh and he slowly pulled himself closer to her.

His lips pressed right above her swimsuit. "Sure, we could do that, but..."

The tone of his voice implied that he was thinking of anything but that. In fact his fingers began to slowly lace around. Food was important, and he was actually getting kind of hungry, but the thought of Jamie, the way she looked right now with the beads of water slowly rolling down her body and her hair soaked along her shoulders...well Kurt found it hard to resist her, more than normal.

His nose slowly nuzzled down, his hand tightening slightly against her thigh. The bit of cloth on her swimsuit fell a bit lower, Kurt planting another kiss.

Suddenly, his thoughts were interrupted by the low growl of his stomach, enhanced to his ears by the water that still surrounded him. The Courier looked surprised for a moment, as if he hadn't quite expected to be that hungry. A frowned pulled at his lips, a small sigh escaping him. Quickly Kurt stood up, his fingers sliding up Jamie's thigh, over her hips, and around the small of her back to pull her into a tight embrace against himself.

"Okay, maybe I do need food." He admitted with a sheepish smile.

The tiny hairs on the back of her neck stood on end as Kurt wrapped his fingers around her thighs, pressing them with just enough force to make her tense her muscles and freeze in place, his face raising to her waist, kissing her, lowering her swimwear just a bit to tease her. Some type of incomprehensible sound erupted from her lips the moment he did, and a quick shiver shot up her legs and back. "K-urt!" Her hands immediately braced against his shoulders to prevent her from losing balance in her momentary vulnerability.

Though she was quite surprised by his rapid rising from the water just beneath her, forcing her to step back so that his head wouldn't come crashing into her jaw during the process. "Woah! Well... Okay then!" Her voice was a bit disappointed. She hadn't anticipated being teased quite like that, but now that the option was off the table in favor of food it left her feeling a bit...unsatisfied, despite having been the one to suggest food.

"Do you want to check on the lines and I will start the fire? Or do you want me to check the fish and you start the fire?"

Oh he heard the tone of her voice, felt the slight slump against his body, the way she pressed against him for half a moment before slowly letting the excitement face. His fingers laced around her, slowly pulling back to settle on her hips. His thumbs floated beneath the cloth of her swimwear, a small smile spreading on his face as he leaned down and kisses her.

"Tell you what." Kurt began as he pulled his thumbs down, slowly letting them sail lower to reveal more of Jamie's alabaster flesh. "You start the fire."

Kurt trialed off as he began to kiss her again, letting his lips sail across her cheek and down towards her neck. "I'll go check the lines, and when I get back I find you in that tent..."

He trailed off as he kissed her neck again, his thumbs slowly dancing even lower and the rest of his fingers pressing into her hips to pull her closer and against himself. The Courier grinned against her skin, smiling as his teeth very gently grazed against her neck. There was no subtlety to the way he touched her, no mystery. Kurt always wanted her, was always ready to give her what she craved. There was no question in that, no thought of anything else.

"Yea?" She started, her eyes lowering to watch Kurt peel back another inch or so of fabric from her body, teeth sinking into her lip. "Mhmm..." She listened to him talk, ears ever so attentive to his sweet honeyed words, his soft lips pressing against her, exciting her, driving her to desire more from him. "Uh huh...O-" She paused, another tremor of excitement rushing over her body, feeling the man's teeth lower into her neck.

"Okay!" She finally said, clear excitement purring in her voice as her fingernails dug into the sides of his shoulders reflexively, a wave of warmth surging over her face, neck, and chest. That same warmth spread like wildfire down her legs, between her thighs. Quickly she took his hand and pulled him towards the shore.

"Go, hurry. Shoo!" She batted at him with her hands, motioning for him to get moving faster. "I'll get this going in no time!"

Kurt smiled at her.

There was a slight bite of his lip, a tiny pull, followed by his thumbs slipping away from her. He nodded his head. "Fine fine. I'm going."

Kurt bent down and gave her one last lingering kiss before he rushed off towards the shore. There was a slight splash of water, a comical flapping, but eventually the Courier managed to make it all the way back to land, grappling onto his meager clothes and pulling them on before he moved towards the jungle. He was a brave man, but he wasn't brave enough to make it into the jungle without some sort of protection from the insects and sharp plants that thrived there.

"Today." He mused to himself as he dashed towards the river. "Has been a good day."

Kurt hadn't quite expected a trip like this when he had first left Kaile and The Messa, he had thought that at most he would be gone for a day or two, yet this...this was turning into an adventure all its own. He smiled slightly at the thought of what else might happen, what tomorrow would bring and what he and Jamie could do together.

Jamie stood for a moment watching Kurt as he scurried off, pulling his clothes on as he moved. She couldn't help but laugh to herself, shaking her head as she knelt down in front of the fire pit. Beside her rested the logs that Kurt had chopped earlier. There would be plenty to keep the fire going for at least the first night, maybe two. Scattered about were a plethora of small sticks and twigs that could be used for kindling to feed the flames until the larger logs caught.

"Okay. Let's see..." Carefully the girl arranged the pit with enough twigs in a breathable pile for which the fire could grow and spread from. Her backpack she retrieved from the tent, opening the front zipper to reveal the compartment that held within a small lighter she carried. Its' purpose was typically for lighting the candles in her bedroom both back home on Naboo and the few she had arranged throughout her room on Cartao.

Returning to the fire pit she again knelt down, a few small leaves were piled along the outer collection of twigs and were quickly set aflame by the yellowish orange flame. A few light puffs of air from her lungs would spread the fire in a circular pattern around the kindling until a few pieces caught, thereby spreading to the rest of the arranged pieces. The process was slow and required constant tending, constant air circulation and fanning, but eventually would begin to rise just beneath the steepled logs, scorching them black before inevitably burning.

Kurt wandered over towards the river, eventually making it back towards the fishing lines.

Unsurprisingly, two of the five lines actually had something upon them, the fish having fallen for the small trap that Kurt had set for them. The Courier grinned, wandering over towards the rocks where the lines were now frantically wiggling and thrashing about. He took one in hand, slowly began to reel it in and drag it towards shore. The fish that had hooked itself upon the line was surprisingly large, bigger than Kurt's forearm and with a maw that could likely swallow his hand.

"Wow." The Courier said simply. "You're...big."

He had no idea what kind of fish it was, though from the grayish scales and the slight ridges along it's fins he would guess that it wasn't actually poisonous. Most river fish tended to be perfectly fine to eat, and he would guess that this one was as well. The Courier mused for a second, taking the fish and hanging it off a branch before pulling on the second line.

Unsurprisingly a very similar fish had found it's way to that line as well, albeit much smaller than the other. "Well, both of you will be enough I think."

Without a second thought Kurt grabbed the first fish, making sure that both hung far off the ground and headed back towards camp.

With the fire growing from the aide of the oxygen and wood Jamie gave herself a satisfied nod. Brushing the sand from her knees and legs she turned back to the tent, scooping up her backpack as she pushed aside the fabric flap and stepped inside. On the inside the tent seemed even larger than it did from the outside, easily sleeping five or more with plenty of space to stretch. The blonde placed her lighter back in to the pack and zipped it closed, setting it down off to the side.

The soft footsteps followed by the sound of crunching twigs and leaves led Jamie to believe that Kurt was returning, likely with whatever had been caught on the lines that he'd set into the water a while ago. At least they'd been able to find food, as having to return to shore each day would have been a bit of a mood killer for their trip.

When Kurt emerged from the woods he would come to see the fire burning, but no trace of the girl. No, she was waiting where he'd instructed.

Kurt wandered back to the beach without any real haste. The fish had slowly stopped flopping, realizing that they were either doomed or simply running out of oxygen. He smiled at the sight that he came back to, a small crackling fire slowly growing larger, no Jamie beside it.

He knew what that meant.

The Courier moved more quickly now, a slight spring in his step as he dashed towards the tent. The Fish were quickly hung on up a branch that he had picked out earlier, placed far enough away from camp that the smell of the fish wouldn't cut through but close enough that Kurt could see them. The animals needed time to dry out before Kurt could properly fillet them with the knife in his backpack. Before he entered the tent Kurt wandered towards the ocean, washing his hands and then moving towards the fire to quickly dry them.

The smell of smoke entered his nose, his eyes closing for half a second as he took a moment to simply enjoy the situation he was.

It all seemed rather perfect, almost much so.

A sigh escaped his lips, and Kurt stood from his small crouch. He wandered towards the tent, pulling open one of the flaps to find Jamie laying on the floor, waiting for him.

Jamie smiled, looking towards Kurt as he pulled open the flap to the tent. The blonde was propped up on her elbows, legs crossed, wide smile on her face.

Just in time! She'd made it inside and had the fire going with just enough time to spare. "Hi there." She'd say, soft voice and a hint of allure to it. "Welcome back."

The girl's head turned slightly sideways, one eye raising curiously at Kurt, the blonde locks of hair slightly curled hanging lazily on either side of her face, still partially wet from the salty ocean water.

"I got the fire started." Like he clearly hadn't seen entering the tent. The comment was more so as a simple euphemism, the fire clearly being elsewhere, rather than the fire pit that Kurt had walked past only a few moments prior. Perhaps he wouldn't get the meaning, or perhaps he would. It wasn't exactly an obvious thing, but she'd take joy in it regardless.

"Was there anything on the lines?" If nothing was biting they might have to try taking the boat further out to the deeper water and trying their luck on the ocean where fish were sure to be in greater abundance. That would also likely cut into their time doing other things, whatever that might very well be.

"Oh, I've caught something." Kurt said with a smirk, referring to the small euphemism and also giving her a straight answer to her own question. He couldn't help but answer that way, the silly grin on his face, the small bit of mischief in his eyes, the joy that played across his face.

For a moment he lingered at the entrance of the tent, his hand curling around the thick fabric, his eyes slowly wandering up and down her body. There was a beauty to her that he could not have described, a diving appearance that made Kurt want to fall to his knees. His smile widened, his hand slowly unfurling from around the cloth. With a single, almost liquid movement Kurt fell forward onto all fours, landing right in front of Jamie's feet and reaching out towards her. His fingers wrapped around her ankle, his hand gently lacing over her skin.

Slowly, he pulled her towards himself, parting her legs so that he could plant a kiss on the inside of her calf, then a little higher, then a little hire once more.

"Did you miss me?" The Courier asked as he planted his lips on the inside of her thigh just above her knee. "Getting that fire started all on your own must have been difficult."

His beard would scratch at sensitive skin, gently grazing against alabaster white as he pressed another long kiss slightly higher up her thigh. He felt goosebumps raise across her skin, his eyes wandering upward to give her a small look of absolute confidence and devotion.

The tug on her ankle and the sliding of her rear against the fabric of the tent floor caused her to shift her weight from elbows to hands as she was pulled closer to Kurt. Pale blue eyes looked down to her feet as he pressed his lips against calf, leg, and thigh. A reactionary roll of the eyes upwards and a small tilt of the head gave way to a quiet gasp, a wave of goosebumps trickling down her spine, arms, and legs after each caress of his lips against her skin. The surge of emotions he so freely drew from her rose once more to the surface, her teeth sinking deep into her lip, her eyes returning to meet his own. That hunger and desire for him returning as quickly as it had before, his words serving only to expedite those feelings.

Jamie's leg muscles tightened slightly, thighs closing around him to trap Kurt between them. She'd watch for a few moments, like a predator surveying its' prey, before finally answering him. "I've missed you terribly."

The tickling of his facial hair caused the blonde to wiggle about as Kurt continued to kiss her. Hands, with brightly colored red fingernails ran through the man's hair, pulling firmly but gently on it. "It was quite a lot of work." There was a soft purring coming from her, though she said nothing further, simply relaxing and allowing herself to enjoy the moment. His kisses and tickling, his hair entwined between her fingers, the sound of his voice and the feel of his hands against her skin.
