"Then..." Kurt trailed off as his hand slowly slid onto her skin, fingers lacing around her thighs until his arms were woven tightly around her legs, his eyes looking up at her with pure hunger and desire consuming them. He saw the flash of her teeth sinking into her lips, the look of desperation in her eye, the flush of pink slowly crawling over her entire body.

The sight was intoxicating.

The Courier quickly found himself lost once again, his words forgotten, his head empty, one powerful desire filling him. His fingers slowly tightened around her, his lips pressing against her inner thigh, higher and higher each time. His beard would tickle and scratch, excitement taking him as he began to move faster and faster. Eventually he remembered what he was going to say, eventually he managed to part his lips long enough to speak to her once again. "Let me relax you."

That was what this trip was about after all.

Relaxation.

A wide smirk rolled across his lips, hands gently pulling her legs apart as the hunger in his eyes became all consuming.

A dozen or so sticks would lay across the top of the fire pit, stretching from one edge of the rocks to the other in the shape and form of a makeshift grill top. They sticks were high enough from the flame that they wouldn't easily burn, though may perhaps smolder a bit as time went on, though it was unlikely to occur before the fish were cooked and ready to be eaten. The girl watched as Kurt flayed each one neatly. It was rather impressive how handy he was with so many basic things, things she'd never learned to do back home as there was scarcely a need for such knowledge. The understanding of their different backgrounds hit her hard in that moment, realizing that despite her academic understanding, Kurt knew far more than she about life, and the galaxy in general. Though he had his eye on his work she blushed just slightly as she looked on.

"You were right. Those hooks worked really well!" Jamie said, placing a soft kiss on Kurt's scruffy cheek as he worked at prepping the fish for the fire. "Is there anything I can do?" She hated feeling useless, like standing by watching him was an unspoken offense, though she could hardly think of much else to do, save for perhaps scouring the bit of nearby jungle for something resembling fruit or vegetables. Though perhaps that wasn't such a bad idea, they could maybe do with adding something to the meal beside fish.

Kurt made rather short work of the fish, though it was surprisingly easy.

Apparently this type of fresh water fish was incredibly easy to fillet, there being a distinct lack of major bones and even organs that got in the way. He might have found that suspicious, but a quick search on his datapad had actually identified the fish as being one of the type that had been released onto Spira centuries ago for recreational fishing. It was a bit of good luck, and not something that Kurt really wanted to question or even really think about too much.

"Hmmm." Kurt said as he sliced through the fishes tail. "You can see if there's any coconut trees nearby."

He stopped for a second. "Don't go too far though."

Concern wafted through his tone for a moment, Kurt clearly being aware of the dangers that were present on the island, especially at night.

A smile flashed before a quick nod of her head, wet blonde hair bobbing back and forth in unison. "Coconuts? Okay!"

In an instant the girl hopped to her feet, stepping through the sand around to where Kurt sat, bending over to kiss him after he had made a point to warn her not to go wandering off too far. "I'll be okay, promise." Taking another step she moved to his other side, bending over once more, her hands rubbing his shoulders as she kissed him again. "But if not, I'll be sure to scream nice and loud to send you running." A mischievous smirk painted her face as her hands lowered from Kurt's shoulders to his ribs, prodding him with her two index fingers on either side. "You'll have to come and save me from the menacing coconuts."

Letting go of him she turned and slowly walked toward the edges of the beach where sand turned to grass, looking back once more with a wiggle of her fingers to waive good-bye.

"Not the coconuts I'm worried about." Kurt said to himself as he watched her wander off towards the edge of the beach, a small smile still permanently stuck on his face. He couldn't help but be slightly worried, probably another portion of how he was brought up and raised. It wasn't that he was taught to fear everything, that was silly, but Tatooine had made him weary of dangers that lurked around the corner. Sand Demons, Tuskens, even Krayt Dragons.

There were things to be weary of everywhere, including paradise.

He didn't expect that Jamie had had that same trouble when she was a kid, Theed being relatively safe as a city, it's security force one of the best in the galaxy. He shook his head slightly, grimacing as he remembered the argument they had on The Messa regarding the same subject. In the end she had won that argument, though only because Kurt himself had to admit defeat.

"I'm sure she'll be fine." The Courier said as he sliced into the fish. "Maybe I should've given her my blaster..."

Did Jamie even know how to use a blaster? Probably not, maybe he'd have to teach her.

The blonde headed into the jungle and away from her and Kurt's camp. Deciding this time to take another direction Jamie began up a bit of a rocky incline that somewhat resembled the base of a mountain, though it was hardly anything close to being a mountain. Instead it was more of a rugged hill that required some careful maneuvering to scale. Granted it was likely a poor decision to do so while wearing little more than a two piece bathing suit and no shoes, but she was a persistent one, determining to prove herself, even if nobody was there to see.

"One...Two...Annnnd" She pushed off from the ground with her legs, jumping up to grab hold of an outlying rock with both hands. Pulling herself up she found a bit of footing to balance on while lifting her body further and further up until she managed to struggle her way to the top. Sliding her body over and on to the level mossy surface she rolled onto her knees and stood up, brushing the bit of collected dirt away from her legs and stomach. Casting her gaze from side to side she noticed a number of modest sized trees that a few of the fruits hung from in small groupings.

"Hmmmmm." She said out loud to herself, contemplating an idea. "Why not?" The girl extended her arms, focusing on one particular coconut that hung about 15 feet in the air just above her. A few deep breaths in and out, a wealth of concentration as her eyes shuttered for a moment, followed by a bit of shaking hands would pluck said coconut from its' root where it would slowly lower into her waiting hands. A satisfied grunt, and a wide smile adorned her face. "The Force is sure handy!"

Kurt was still filleting the fish, slicing through the skin and creating neat cuts of meat that the two of them could enjoy quite simply. Some might have said it was silly to put this much work into it, that you could've just roasted whole fish and eaten them that way, but Kurt never liked doing that.

He was from a desert world, and eating an entire Fish? Well he wasn't a fan of the creatures in the first place so why would he try eating them whole like that. This way it made it seem more like he was eating Bantha or Nerf, a respectable animal that one could actually raise and get along with. Not that he'd really done much of that either. With a sigh Kurt sliced through the last bit of fish, cutting the final piece and fitting it nicely upon the large leaf that he had earlier collected as a sort of plate.

"Now..." He trailed off as he reached over towards a small metal grate that he had earlier collected from the boat.

Kurt used a stick to spread the coals of the family out a bit more evenly, making it so the embers still burned but were positions more flatly all along the rim of the circle that Jamie had earlier crafted. He smiled slightly as he looked down at the creation, the grill that he had just created being enough to bring a bit of entertainment to him.

The second coconut was retrieved in much of the same fashion as the first. The blonde gently pulled at the hanging fruit with the invisible hands of the Force, carrying to her from high above to drop into her palms and set down beside the other previously gathered fruit. With that done Jamie let out a deep sigh, the task having mildly exhausted her energy. Despite what she was able to do, the reality of constantly drawing on the Force for tasks like with the tree earlier was that she found herself feeling lethargic from the constant exertion. With a small oomf the girl plopped onto the ground beside the coconuts to take a small breather. Her blue eyes wandered left and right, examining the jungle around her with a smile. The island, much like the rest of Spira, was a simple, natural beauty. One that stood through generations of tourism.

For a few moments her eyes closed, her head dipping back behind her shoulders as she enjoyed the warming sensation of the sun against her chest. A minute of bliss was interrupted by the sensation of contact running slowly along her skin. At first the girl thought Kurt had followed her and was attempting to seduce her in some manner, though the realization that it was not Kurt's hand, or anyone's hand quickly dawned on her, and she quickly snapped open her eyes and turned her head to see that it was in fact a rather large snake that had curiously slithered its' way along the ground to her.

An involuntary scream roared from her as she scrambled to her feet, quickly scooping up the two coconuts as the snake reeled back from the sudden outburst. Without a second thought she ran; Ran as fast as her human legs would carry her without looking back for anything. The snake very well could have made no attempt to pursue, but it didn't matter. If it was chasing her, she wasn't going to slow down so that it could catch her! Coming back to the face of the small cliff she'd climbed earlier she tossed the coconuts to the ground below and leaped off herself.

The girl's stomach lurched into her throat as she realized the gravity of the situation. This isn't a three foot drop... Jamie closed her eyes as her feet hit the ground, tucking forward into a graceless roll as she felt a sharp pain in her right ankle as her body ceased rolling, coming to a stop next to the pair of coconuts she'd tossed. With a grimace she looked back to see that the snake was nowhere to be found, before her eyes dropped back to her feet.

Nothing looks broken, that's good, right? The blonde pushed with her hands off the ground, though as she moved to stand that sharp pain in her right ankle came back once more, causing her to cry out softly. Damnit Jamie. Stupid! Stupid! Leaning over she lifted up the two fruits and slowly started to hobble back toward the camp.

Kurt was up and off the ground almost as soon as he heard the screech echo through the air. His reaction was instant, almost if he had been expecting it. His fingers laced into his backpack, grabbing the handle of his pistol and dashing to his feet before even a second could pass. A spray of sand kicked up from his feet, tossing over the fire and barely missing the fish filet that he had created. The Courier ran as fast as he could in Jamie's direction, his fingers clutching his blaster tightly.

He had no idea why Jamie had screamed, what was wrong, but he found his heart racing.

There was not a stutter in his step, not a falter in the way he moved. Kurt seemed to rush with an almost Nexu like grace, dashing over the sandy beach, rocks, and eventually hard compacted roots that had dug deep into the ground. His eyes darted around, searching for any sign of Jamie and looking for her with panic in his heart. The thundering in his chest continued, then he spotted it. A slight silhouette within the distance, a figure that was barely outlined by the light of the moon. His eyes widened as he watched her tumble, falling off the height of the cliff. A curse escaped his lips, his hand forming into a white knuckle fist as he rushed forward.

"Jamie!" Kurt called out to her, pacing his distance towards the edge of the cliff.

There he saw her, already standing, hobbling towards him while holding two round objects. His face flashed with concern, his eyes settling on her as his sprint slowed to a jog. His hands reached out towards her, The Courier completely ignoring the Coconuts that she had found.

"Are you alright?" He asked, his voice dripping with concern.

Trying her best not to show the pain in her ankle she gave Kurt a nod, dropping the two coconuts as he reached out towards her with his hands, her own falling around his shoulders to hug him, but more importantly to brace herself and take the pressure off of that leg by lifting her foot slightly from the ground behind her. Given that the pain subsided without pressure on it, rather than constant sharp pain, it was likely either that she simply rolled her ankle or perhaps strained or sprained it. The injury could have likely been far worse.

"I'm fine, really. I didn't hear anything crack or break!" She pulled Kurt tighter against her, her chest still beating in rapid succession from the combination of fear and adrenaline. "I sat down for a minute, didn't see this big snake until it crawled on me." Her face flushed slightly beneath the light of the moon. "It scared me. I wasn't expecting it. I ran and forgot how high up I was." Pulling her head back to look at Kurt she smiled as she pointed to the ground where the coconuts lay at their feet, "I found the coconuts though!" There was that, at least.

He smiled at her, though shook her head. Snake. Good enough reason to scream he supposed, there were some snakes on Tatooine, nasty little things that had a tendency of biting anyone and anything that got too close to them. Kurt had encountered them once or twice, had even eaten them. "As long as you're okay."

The Courier said as he planted a kiss on her forehead.

His arms tightened around her, them slowly he shifted so that he was to her side, one arm sweeping to her thighs and the other to her upper back. He picked her up off the ground, sweeping her feet and taking gentle care not to knock her ankles together. The Courier carried her like a princess, his lips pressing against her cheek as he began to head back towards camp. There was a bubbling of laughter from her, a bit of objection, but he wouldn't have it.

"I'll come back to collect your bounty." Kurt said with a grin. "For now let me get you back to camp."

Her one planted leg was lifted from under her, body suddenly falling horizontal into Kurt's arms as she flailed a bit, hooking her arms around his shoulders to hold onto him. She couldn't help but laugh. "I can walk you know. It's just slow and awkward." Her eyes remained fixed on Kurt's as he carried her back through the jungle and to the beach. "I'm not completely broken." She raised her head and kissed his neck, "But thank you all the same." It would take an extra couple of minutes to make it back to camp now, due to the fact that now Kurt had to carry Jamie through the expanse of trees and leaves and other small obstacles, careful not to drop her.

A low rumble of her tummy let the world know she was a bit hungry, signaling her hand to cover the area where the source of the grumble came from to try and hush the noise. "Well, if nothing else this was an exciting day!" She said with a smile, before nuzzling her face into the space between Kurt's shoulder and neck, her eyes closing to rest for just a minute.

Kurt held onto her, watching the path ahead of them very carefully and making sure that his every step landed somewhere safe. It wouldn't really do for him to carry Jamie and then fall flat on his face five seconds later, she'd never let him live that down in a million years. When her stomach growled he couldn't help but smile, his lips pressing against her cheek as they once again passed out of the jungle and onto the expanse of the beach.

"I'm sure tomorrow will be even better." Another small kiss, and Kurt wandered towards the fire.

"You'll just have to rest that ankle." The Courier said as he very gingerly put her down in the sands. "And get something to eat."

Luckily his earlier dash of sand hadn't put out the embers completely, and the metal grate across the coals had warmed up enough that there was a slight wave of heat coming from it. His eyes fell on the filet for a moment, making sure that no animal had come to claim them in his absence. "You rest, I'll go get those coconuts, then we get this little feast started."

He leaned down and kisses her again, nuzzling her nose.

"Mmm. Food sounds wonderful" She remarked at Kurt's mention of dinner, and the reminder of her stomach. "Absolutely wonderful!"

As he set her down on top of the sandy shore she smiled back up at him, leaning forward to wrap her arms around her knees, careful not to offend the injury to her ankle any further. The fire felt warm and cozy, the smell of the fish searing on the makeshift grill was wonderful. Jamie had grown up around fancy sea fare as a kid, so despite the lack of fancy dining-ware and garnishes, this was about as close to home as she could get.

"Okay. I only got two." Her head turned to face Kurt as he began to head back to the jungle. "Watch out for snakes!"

Kurt let out a slight scoff, drawing the blaster from the back of his underwear and twirling it around his finger for a moment to show her that snakes wouldn't really be an issue...well unless one jumped up and bit him before he saw it. "Don't you worry darlin', I got it covered."

For half a second his heavy Tatooine drawl pulled through, Kurt unable to keep it from his tongue as he swept himself forward and moved away from camp. He knew exactly where he'd left the two coconuts, mostly because the location of seeing Jamie hobble along injured was rather burned into his mind. His head shook slightly as he tried to dispel the numerous what ifs that his brain was forcibly making him think of, pushing them out and instead replacing them with ideas for tomorrow.

The pilot quickly moved through the jungle, breaking into an easy jog as he made it back towards the coconuts.

Unsurprisingly both of the odd fruits were still there, botch packaged in that natural shell that held around them. Wearily, The Courier looked about for snakes. His eyes wandered for a moment more than his palms scooped up the coconuts. Turning on his heel Kurt headed back towards camp in a trot.

The sudden flux in Kurt's voice made Jamie giggle. It was funny how hard he tried to disguise his own accent, whether intentionally or subconsciously she wasn't quite sure.

"Don't hurt yourself with that." She pointed to the blaster with one finger, "I don't want to have to limp after you." Shaking her head Jamie looked Kurt up and down. The ridiculous way he looked with a blaster tucked into his underwear made her grin. As he made his way back into the jungle the blonde tucked her hands behind her head and laid back into the sand, looking up at the stars as their light began to poke through the partly cloudy sky above. Night had well fallen by this time, the crackling of the wood in the fire and the sounds of the jungle insects combined with the crashing of waves against the shore making the only noise that could be heard. The air was still crisp and warm, heated further by her proximity to the fire pit. The smell of cooking fish added to the mix and forced a deep breath through her lungs. She was eager to eat, almost contemplating scooping up a few pieces secretly before Kurt returned, though held off despite her waning willpower.

Jamie let out a relaxed sigh, almost forgetting about her injury for a few moments as she took in the world around her, the serenity of it all, and the peace of mind knowing they still had a few more days to share with each other.

Kurt made it back to camp in a rather steady manner, not rushing back to Jamie but having a spring in his step so that he could eat. He knew that she was likely hungry, mostly because he himself was starving. With a small jump The Courier bounded onto the beach, jumping onto the sands and rushing forward as the fire once came into view.

"Oh Honeeey!" Kurt called out. "I'm home."

A wide grin fell upon his face as he almost flopped into place besides the flames.

A slight wave of sand came up, though luckily none of it his the fish, flames, or Jamie herself. He came to a stop, making a slight 'whoops' face. His eyes wandered towards Jamie, then slowly he leaned over towards her and gave her a short apologetic kiss. "Sorry."

Jamie turned as he landed from his little charade, a look on her face as if to gauge whether or not the man in front of her was an adult or a child, though in a playful manner, rather than an insulting one. Blue eyes flinched as the sand kicked up, though didn't quite make it to hit her, instead spanning out a few inches away and settling against the millions upon millions of other grains.

With a smile she outstretched her arms and fell back, her head falling into the sand as she exclaimed, "Welcome home!"

For a moment she examined the two coconuts, ensuring that she hadn't broken them by accident before Kurt had reached her earlier. "Ah! Good!" She clapped her hands together, "You found them!"

The coconuts could be easily enough broken into, despite their hard outer shell simply by cracking them together with enough force, or using the makeshift axe that Kurt had managed to craft, so she wasn't entirely worried about that. There were plenty more nearby where she had found those two as well, so she knew they would have enough for the next few days as well.

He leaned over and offered her a small peck, pressing his lips against her own and offering her a small nuzzle before slowly drawing back away from her and regarding the grill. He smiled slightly, offering him a tiny bit of his delight before drawing himself back up and regarding the bounty of food that they had before them. The fish was still there unsullied, and the coconuts would be perfect enough to eat. Kurt knew that he would be using the coconut water to douse the Fish slightly, giving it a perfect taste.

"Alright." The Courier said.

"How about you use this." He pulled the Axe over from his bag. "Open up those coconuts and I'll get the fish started?"

Easy enough really. "Make sure you save the milk!"

With that Kurt slowly drew himself up, pulling to his knees so that he could more easily lean over the makeshift grill. The leaf that he had earlier put the fish on top of was scooped up into his hand, taken and gently placed within his palm so that it didn't slide away from him. The fish had managed to create five large filets and two small ones, more than enough food for the both of them, probably too much actually. He picked up one of the small ones, testing the heat of the grill by hovering his palm above it and then gently lowering the meat onto it.

The blonde looked at the axe as Kurt passed it to her, instructing her to crack the two coocnuts open with it. The idea of it seemed incredibly dangerous. A makeshift axe being swung against a spherical object, with nothing to brace them from moving when struck besides her legs. The repercussions of missing being a lovely gash in one or both legs. Perhaps she could bury them in the sand a bit and use that as a brace? But then sand would get into the coconuts and ruin the milk. No, that wouldn't work either.

"Hmmmm...Okay." Jamie had no idea how Kurt thought she was going to accomplish this. Then it came to her. Perhaps she didn't need the axe at all. Her head spun from side to side to look at what was nearby. Turning onto her stomach she used her arms and good leg to push herself up to her knees at first, then to a standing position. Picking up one of the coconuts she limped her way slowly past Kurt, a small mischievous smile on her face. When she made it finally to the treeline she held back about 3 feet away from a plump looking palm.

Focusing her attention on the cocounut she gently levitated it from her hand, before thrusting her palm forwards with a bit of force, sending the coconut racing toward the trunk of the tree with a resounding crack as it impacted. The girl then hobbled her way to the fruit and picked it up, satisfied with the noticeable fracture along the tan skin of the coconut, which she was able to then pull away the flesh and open further as she limped her way back to Kurt with a smile, her hand extending out to offer him the opened fruit. "How about that?"
