suicide slum's finest
Beneath the forever lit skies of Denon bathed in various shades of neon, Corin had the chance to hone all aspects of himself into a warrior other than a Jedi. In some respects, the term peacekeeper fit like loose cloth. But unlike the other half of the duo he often functioned in, the Padawan sought trouble out for himself. Even when cautioned against it. Fists thrown carried him through the sleepless nights as much as those that found his often bruised body. He loved it, far more than any Jedi ought to admit. So like memories carved into each carefully crafted muscle across his frame, his actions came without so much as a thought.
His own saber clattered against the floor with Bamarri's as he too resorted to fists.
Corin stood firmly over the mat as Kai dashed forwards, his own words cut short. No doubt a relief for some, the Jedi could later muse. His arm made an effort to shift around the outside of Bamarri and hold him with his forearm over his fellow's throat and into a headlock. Corin slid across the mat and huffed with exertion as a shoulder met his ribs, only for a curled fist of his own to hook in the direction of Bamarri's side again and again.
He wanted to throw a knee, but what little sound judgement there was decided against it. For now, at least.
His connection to the Force was undoubtedly average. Higher mysticisms were far from his area of expertise, or even future, though all Corin ever excelled at was the fight.
