If you are utilizing a personal cloaking device, that is its own restricted material. Pyronium is also a restricted material. You need development for every restricted material utilized in a submission.

So, yes, in spite of whatever anyone had told you prior (probably because Pyronium was only recently added to the restricted materials list some 6-7 months ago), you need development for both.

How much Dev would be required to start a company at level 4+?
I know when i made JAC it was three threads.
But yeah its going to be my restaurant from a while back.

It is no longer an option to start a company at tier 4.

Rules state that they may only start at tier 2, unless it is a subsidiary of a tier 5 and up, then the most it can be is tier 3.

So I know for company advancement contracts are required, but marketplace transactions don't count towards this.

So these contracts wouldn't count towards advancement?

No.

No marketplace transactions will count towards advancement.

You may use those as your "sign up" but it is the thread you are actually involved in once you complete the PMC order that will count towards advancement.
