Yes. That would be plagiarism.

You are more than free to take the original idea and create something new out of it, but renaming it to something else but keeping it otherwise the same is, in essence, identical to copying and pasting. Cite it, quote what needs to be quoted, just like you would if you were in school or doing something for a job, and you'll be fine.

Hello there, sorry to bother I'm just curious on something I'm doing for the marketplace.

I'm opening up a Nadramie Saber's thread for my new company. One of the things I'll be selling is a standard issue lightsaber. Nothing special and a common kyber crystal that is synthetically made. Will I be required to make a new technology thread for the sabers specifically? I figured this would be as good a place as any to ask about this.

Recommendation from me is that you make a standard Hilt. You can also sell crystals. Sell the two at the same time, and then the person can choose what type of crystal they want from your store, or have their own.

Showcasing the way it works via research and development. The more related to that the better. And a lower production than the average force breaker grenade.

Yes. With development you may expand your company's operations. Usually this is done during tier progression, but it isn't unheard of to do it before or after one.
