OLD Factory Q&A

Quick question. I don't actually know where to ask this, but does anyone know a relatively common material that can withstand a Lightsaber attack? To clarify, the armor is thick, I'm thinking like the door Qui Gon cut through in Episode 1. No Lightsaber resistant materials though.

At that thickness you'll be better off considering Turadium or Duraplast. Duraplast has a history of being used in armor, Turadium is the actual blast door material, such as seen in Episode 1, but isn't canonically used for armor.

thank you would i have to spec / app my body or just go Play?
You shouldn't have a problem doing so (writing your prosthetic body) without a submission as long as you don't treat it as some kind of crazy powerful upgrade over a normal body. I would suggest submitting it, however, if you'd like to ensure it is as balanced as possible.

no it's mostly common save a beskar plating (she is Mando. ) other than an enhanced strength that's it. mostly standard Mando / Cydorg tech.

Might want to sub it then [member="Jango Fess"] but I should not think you have to.

Anyways couple questions,
1. How would I go about posting for a merge?
2. How many posts would you recommend for a merge between a Tier II and a Tier I company

  1. Start a public or private role-playing thread and write out the merger.
  2. Ten to twenty posts, probably ten would be just fine.

Howdy, you magnificent capitalists.

This is where you go when you want to update your company submission for when you've grown in Tier or just feel like sprucing up your submissions. Simply fill out the template here and then someone will get to it.

TEMPLATE:

Company: (What company is being changed?) (Also, link the submission here.)
Modification Made: (What are you changing?)
Rationale: (Why are you doing this?)

Pertient Development Threads:
  • [Link] - [Description]

New Submission: [Please spoiler this]

[member="Severence Rau"]

... By utilizing the template to reflect a merge and posting it into the company modification thread.

You'll need to show both modifications for both subs and put in the new submission. Simply add in the information and dev link as stated in the template.

Do products and contracts for subsidiaries count for tiering up the parent company. As long as there is still no "Double dipping"?
