The Force can be a Weakness
Quick question, is Mandolorian iron allowed to be used? Please reply!

All canon items require a development thread, and being that it is a ship over 1000 meters it must follow all starship rules and development requirements for a ship of that size.Gael bar Ammon said:1) The following questions pertain to the possible introduction of the Invisible Hand into Chaos canon. A search of the canon items page revealed nothing under that name, so firstly I'd like to verify it hasn't already been.
2) A dreadnought falls under flagship, but the ship size is only 1,088m. Does it fall under the creation rules for a flagship or ship under 1,700m rules? Would I use the destroyer template or flagship one?
3) Is a dev thread necessary for canon items/ships?
1. An individual character may not own a ship greater than 400 meters in length. Ships over 400 meters must be owned by a Faction (Major or Minor) or Company, and may be captained by the character, but in case of leaving will not go with them without exceptional circumstances and faction administrator approval.
As far as I am aware, a ship over 400 meters (that is canon), would be in conflict with either of these rules as a ship over 400 meters must be owned by a faction or company, and all canon items must be owned and claimed by a single person.1. Each writer may possess no more than a total of 5 canon items across all their characters. Factions, companies, and other organizations are unable to claim canon items.
You can always try to have the Providence-class revived and have your faction own one of these things (in canon the Providence-class was described as a SD-sized carrier), where the dev post must center on the faction owning or building it (10+ posts and preferrably two or more writers). Just don't claim that particular unit to be the same as a similarly-named canon unit.Gael bar Ammon said:1) The following questions pertain to the possible introduction of the Invisible Hand into Chaos canon. Yes. This is acceptable. You are also free to do this RP in a first-person perspective of an unapproved NPC that is the scientist/creator in question.Katelyn Feanor said:Okay, so I want to go about creating an Artificial Intelligence. Yet, none of my (active) characters are scientists. So, how would I go about doing this? Could I do let's say…a thesis/research logs (both) with an NPC character created in the NPC section? I'm just curious as I do not want to create a new character just to create another new character.
Only the submitter may salvage the materials of a submission. Any other method of obtaining the materials through what is outlined in the restricted materials list, however, is fine. That includes having a mandalorian forge new armor.Tempest said:I have a set of Beskar Armour, as does Siobhan, made by @Ordo.
We would like to salvage it, but the creator is gone. Are we able to obtain a dispensation to salvage them ourselves?
Alternatively, since we have the Beskar, can we simply purchase Beskar from the Mandalorians and/or a smith to remake it?
Thank you
