Pink is for boys, too!
Is it possible to restrict affiliation by tier or faction alignment/major status?
Can you elaborate on what you mean by tier?Marque said:Is it possible to restrict affiliation by tier or faction alignment/major status?
Instead of affiliation with the open market (e.g. selling to anyone), specifying Tier 3+ or Major Factions or something like that to restrict sales only to those entities big enough.Lily Kuhn said:Can you elaborate on what you mean by tier?
As for faction alignment, sure. Just put the faction(s) you want it to be affiliated with as the affiliation of the submission.
To make it easy on yourself, just say Closed Market and then offer to to the people you want able to use it.Marque said:Instead of affiliation with the open market (e.g. selling to anyone), specifying Tier 3+ or Major Factions or something like that to restrict sales only to those entities big enough.
By limited edition do you mean limited production?sabrina said:What would you look for in a dev thread, to make a limited edition non standard lightsaber?
Also how do you sell stuff, to a faction you own?
General Rules for Technology
Here are the general rules and guidelines for Technology. Please also review the Factory Standardized Rules prior to making a submission.
1. Submissions which make use of base material submissions that utilize restricted materials will always require substantial development involving that restricted material. (i.e; Phrik Armorweave submissions will require development for utilization in future armor submissions)
2. Fully constructed lightsabers are restricted to a maximum of semi-unique production.
3. All companies utilized as manufacturers must be hyperlinked to their submission or canonical article.
4. The template's fields are not to be changed/removed/altered, additional information may be added but base fields may not be changed or removed.
5. Development threads must be ten posts or greater to be accepted in factory submissions.
6. Submissions & development threads should adhere to the established standards of development.
7. Work-in-Progress submissions are not permitted in the factory.
8. For Restricted items, standard development may grant between Unique and Limited production depending on the submission, with a maximum of Minor production following additional development.
9. All development threads that are hyperlinked in submissions must be cited as the full thread title, not an abbreviation.
By this do you mean contracts? Simple have a thread where faction A buys the goods from company B. If there's someone else in your faction, have them be the other person in the thread, or simply use an NPC.sabrina said:Also how do you sell stuff, to a faction you own?
I'm not sure I can really put an exact number without seeing the submission first. And if you do not intend to salvage your ship, then no, you cannot reuse the ultrachrome.Sanya Val Swift said:Hw much dev would I need to replace the ultrachrome body with a Phrik body on the libita. also would I be able to reuse the ultrachrome for a limited production fighter ships?
Yes but they have to be different contracts.Dunames Lopez said:Can I sign a contract with the same major faction for different tier-ups? (e.g. signing a contract for product/service A to a major faction X for tier-4 and signing another contract to the same major faction to sell product/service B for tier-5)
It's variable to what you had originally and what you might be asking for.Charzon Loulan said:Suppose that one wants to convert a non-combat ship to a combat ship. Do any unused allowance from the original model (afforded by way of them having extra dev posts) carry over to the new one?
Oh I know I would still need some dev posts for the conversion proper though.
