Peace is a Lie

The Reaper of Won Shasot
Dax would watch from above like a hawk. As the explosion went off he covered his ears. The schock wave shook the air in his lungs, but quickly subsided. The man leaped from his perch on the roof tops and fell upon the last few men. His slugthrower rang out and struck three men, his saber, another two. He lifted one with the Force and tossed him over the edge of the bridge. Before long only a couple were left alive.

Aspen would continue to fire, she would shoot 3 snap anothers neck before shooting 2 more. There were very few left by this point. She would go ahead and finish them off "I told you no damage would be done."

"Yeah but uh...who's left to interrogate?" he asked, now looking around at all the bodies. He kicked a couple of the ones that lay nearest him. Yeah...they were definitely dead...

"The one you threw off the bridge should be ok I'll get him" She said and with that she would throw off her shirt and her jeans and step to the edge of the bridge. She would then dive off and feel the air rush past her. Once she hit the water she would quickly find the man trying to get away. Luckily she was a good swimmer. She would get him and take him to shore

Dax met the two at the shore and grabbed the man, quickly dragging him into shore before giving him a swift kick to the head, knocking hin unconcious. "We better go. I don't think the authorities will appreciate us blowing up a bridge." he said as he through the unconcious man to be thrown over his shoulder.

The Rogue slowly picked his way through alleys, not wanting to draw attention to themselves. Much like Taris, he went slowly and quietly, occasionally checking to make sure that the man he was carrying on his back was good and surely out. Dax hoped there'd be some sort of abandoned apartment building nearby, however, that had not appeared to be so as of yet.

"I know a spot." Aspen said and with that she would pick her way through the alleys till she reached the edge of the city. She would then lead him out of town through the shadows. She would lead him to a log cabin, she had found this many years ago and remade it as her little get away. She would open the door and lead him in. The inside looked just how she left it. It was lush and very nice

Dax entered the rustic cabin and immediately set the man on the floor and groaned, stretching his back, "Ya know, carrying around a full grown man on your back, sneaking through a city, is not nearly as fun as it sounds." The Rogue went and pulled out a chair and set the man in the chair, "You got anything we could restrain him with?"

"Im sure I have something around here." She said getting up she would return with a couple of straps she had laying about. She would hog tie the man like she had done a million times. She would then take a seat next to Dax "So whats the plan?"

"Uh...figuring out where you learned how to do that..." Dax said, pointing to the tied up man on the ground, "Kinky chit right there." he joked, sitting down in one of the chairs. The man on the ground sat still as a stone. It almost made Dax wonder if he was dead. However, the slight amount of drool dribbling from his mouth and the light rise and fall of the man's chest indicated otherwise.

"Wouldnt you like to know." She said with a wink. Looking at the man on the floor she would realize how late it was getting. She would light the candles in the cabin and pull the shades down tight so they werent seen "I vote we stay here for the night"

Dax nodded, "I'll take the first watch. I'll wake you if the idiot does." he said, drawing his slugthrower and setting it on the table with a thud. Suddenly his stomach let out a song akin to a dying whale. "Uh...any chance there being any food around here?" he asked. The last time he'd ate must've been earlier that afternoon.

"Yeah hold on. There is also ammo if you need any." She would walk over to a hatch in the floor. She would open it and grab some dried meat from it and hand it to Dax. She herself wouldnt eat anything but curl up on the floor

Dax took the dried meat from the woman and thanked her before biting into the smokey flavored flesh. His mouth watered the instant he tasted it. "Sure you don't wanna sit in a chair?" he asked as she curled on the floor.

Dax was surprised by how quickly the woman fell asleep. Once more, he took his jacket off and put it around the woman before sitting back and watching the man, tied up on the floor....

A few hours later...

A loud grunt could be heard alongside some swearing. "Keep your ass still." Dax knelt down next to the sleeping woman and gently shook her shoulder, "Ey. Our guest is awake."

Dax gave the woman a 'Shouldn't you put on clothes?' look before hauling the man into what could be substituted for a sitting position in his current bound state...it was no doubt very uncomfortable for the man. Dax took his seat and placed it before the man, back to him. Dax sat in it, facing the bound man and crossed his arms on top of the back rest, chin upon his arms.

"You got a couple choices here my friend. Don't say anything, and die very very painfully and slowly...or tell us what we want and you have a chance of not dying very slowly and painfully...at least with option two you're guaranteed to live longer." Dax said, no emotion in his voice. It came out matter-of-factly...likely because it was a fact...

This wasn't the kind of work Dax exactly liked doing, but he'd do it nonetheless. Call it repentance for ones sins, or karma, or whatever. Dax was just dishing out what the man deserved...although the Rogue didn't always believe that...
