Peace is a Lie

The Reaper of Won Shasot
"Grab whatever you need." he said, grabbing some spare cartridges and stuffing them into his cargo pockets. "We're gonna need all the firepower we can get."
The man already had his two sabers on him. And the slugthrower and knife. It was now that he added the rifle. Along the walls sat several more rifles like the one Dax held.

Dax nodded his head, "Let's go talk with security. Take a look at their security cameras." he said, exiting the craft. Theed had a generally positive outlook on Jedi. It was likely that security would allow them to use their cameras. Of course, they didn't have to know that Dax wasn't really a Jedi.

The two would arrive at the security office. The officer let them in with no objection. "Show us the security cameras." the holo displays showed each of the landing bays, a couple empty, a couple not. For now they had to wait.

The Rogue took a seat and stared and moving blue holograms.. All they could do was wait and watch until their targets appeared. Dax shifted in his seat, settling in for a long night.

Some hours later, as the chrono on Dax's wrist approached the regions midnight, a ship descended from space and began it approach. The Rogue leaned forward as the ship touched down and lowered its ramp. Moments pass by. What was the crew doing? As if to answer him they began to cart large crates from the cargo bay. "Bay 24!" Dax shouted, shooting from his seat, "C'mon."

The door to the bay hissed open as Dax approached, and his sabers hissed into being, the orange blades drawing the attention of the dozen or so men who stood on the platform. All them drew their blasters and began to fire. The Rogue's sabers arced in orange stream of light, swatting away the blaster bolts which approached them both.

Aspen would return fire, she was the top of her class at the Academy. She hardly missed her target, it used to be said she had the aim of a sniper, the strength of the strongest man and the mind of a 5 star general. That being said as Dax deflected the bolts she would take out man after man, by the time they reached them there were but 4 men left standing

As the pair reached the last four men Dax's spinning sabers broke their deadly dance to begin anew, the first blade cutting across one of the men's chests, the second, sweeping the legs out from under a man before being plunged into his chest. Leaving the saber in the man's bosom, Dax used his left hand to send an arc lightning coursing through the third man's system, the body falling to the ground just before a head began to roll across the floor.

"This your ship?" Dax asked the man as Aspen held him up by the collar. The bodies that lay across the ground would certainly draw attention soon. Security might trust that their work was of benefit but others may not.

"We'll be taking you cargo if you don't mind." Dax said, lifting his arm, the saber in one of the men's bodies deactivating and floating to into his palm.

The crack resounded through the air and Dax winced a little. "That had to hurt." he said as he entered the freighter. The cargo hold was laden with crates, each with their own inconspicuous label. Drawing his knife, Dax pried the lids off of one of the crates and looked in. "Weapons?"
