Peace is a Lie

The Reaper of Won Shasot
The bound man said nothing and only stared the Rogue in the eye, defiant. Dax looked over to [member="Aspen Laval"], "You alright if blood gets on the floor?" he asked. The man's eyes didnt seem to move, and yet, inside, Dax could feel the fear slowly growing within the man, spreading out through his body like a parasite.

The Rogue nodded and pulled out another chair. The man's eyes followed him until a boot collided with his stomach. Untying the man, still groaning he hauled him into the chair, punched the man, a crack resounding as Dax's fist collided with the other man's jaw. Dax then bound the man's hands and feet to the chair. Returning to his own chair, Dax turned it around to face the bound man. Drawing a knife from his belt, he pauesed to examine its black blade. Dax span it in his hand, holding it in a reverse grip before slamming the point down, in between the man's legs, and left it there, stuck in the wood. "Let's play a game. I ask a question. You answer. I don't like your answer you lose."

T"I'll start." Dax said, twisting the knife, the wood crackling before relenting and giving the man hos knife back. "I want to know your main money making operations.". The captive remained tight lipped and a few tense moments passed between them, eyes locked on each other's. "Wrong answer." A violent sudden movement disturbed the stillness of the situation as Dax habbed the blade into the man's knee, a piercing cry sitting the night air.

Aspen knew all about interrogation methods, if they had more time she would have chosen waterboarding, but they had no time. They needed this information now. So Aspen would watch wondering if the man would go as far to the others manhood, if he didn't Aspen would, if it came down to it

The man's cry subsided to a whisper and Dax spoke once more, "Again, money making...now." he began to twist the blade of the knife in the man's leg, causing another cry of pain, "You don't tell me I'm gonna pop you're fethin knee cap off!"
"Alright alright!" the man screamed out, begging for the Rogue to cease his ministrations. "Drugs, gambling, prost-"
"Any shipments coming in soon?" Dax asked, cutting the man off. Once more the man sealed his lips. Sparks suddenly began to form around Dax's hand, an arc of electricity leaving his fingers and jumping to the blade, traveling into the man's leg. Another pained cry. "Yes! Tomorrow night!"

"Time, place, now."
"The spaceport! Midnight! Its a large shipment of spice!"
"And that's how you win the game." the Rogue said, slowly extracting the knife from the man's leg, cries of agony leaving his lips. He wiped the blood off the blade onto the man's pants and turned to [member="Aspen Laval"], "Alright, this could be it."

Dax shrugged, "Your house, your choice." he said, returning the knife to its sheath. Whatever she thought they should do with the criminal, he'd go along with it. At this point it wouldn't especially matter.

Dax stepped around behind the man and placed a hand his shoulder, "No need. You won't talk will you?"
"N-no, of course not."
Suddenly the orange blade of a saber sprouted from the man's chest before disappearig once more. "That's right. You won't."

Aspen would look on as the blade passed through the man, she would then begin to think of ways to get rid of the body, there was a lake not far from their current location. She would look at Dax "I know a spot not far from here that we can get rid of this body, I would rather not have it here,":

Dax nodded as he began tonundo the dead man's restraints. "Alright, sounds good. Let's get rid of him and then head to the spaceport."

Dax figured that after they'd disposed of the body they could head back to his ship, resupply, and plan their next move. Spice. A perfect oppurtunity. They had to avenues they could take. The question is which one.

Dax watched as the body fell into the water with a splah, the lifeless corpse floating back up. "Hold on." The man went back to the cabin and returned with a heavy fire extinguisher and rope. He dragged the sodden body back to shore and tied the extinguisher to the body's ankle. Levitating the extinguisher out over the lake, he let the metal thing drop, another splash, followed by yet another as the lake swallowed up the man's corpse.

"Lets go."

Nearly an hour later the two found themselves back at the spaceport once again, boarding the Revenant Dawn. "Here's the plan." he said, grabbing a rifle from the rack and checking to see if it was unloaded. It was. "We go to the spaceport and take the shipment. We kill the gang and either pay off or kill the smugglers. We deliver the shipment to the gang, get inside what ever their using as a base, take em all out. Sound good?" Dax knew the plan was light on details. But it was all he had.
