Quest to find her past. (open)

[member="Kitty"]

Jaster stayed behind with the second transport, his job was to secure supplys for their continued journey to the outer rim refugee camps. He was on the clock, and he would do anything beside go back to the station and get yelled at. Picking up a hitchhiker, no matter how dangerous, was safer then feeling the wrath of his boss. He heard the conversation between the Sith and the Jedi, reminded him of the day of old when there was peace. Jaster was young then, and now at his ripe age was getting sentimental at the sight of a Sith and Jedi working together. That was a world he would fight for, he would have enjoyed those days. Yet daydreaming was not on the list of things needed to be done so he rid himeself of the thoughts and exited the shuttle.

He was in his admiral grays, signifying his neutrality in the system is the One Sith. He was the Admiral of the Healer Guild Medical Fleet, and he was to look the part when on official grounds. "I think you found the right place," Jaster watched the Jedi leave, "your friend not joining us?"

Even though he knew the answer he didn't want to seem like he was spying on them. He could lie to a force user, one of the few perks of having an adopted force user as a daughter.

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
At first Kitty thought the armored leader guy was lying to her. They weren't exactly whispering and she couldn't see anyone missing the conversation. Then again she had to remind herself most people in the galaxy didn't have senses anywhere near as acute as her own. It's totally possible he did miss it. "Unfortunately no. She's determined to seek training as a jedi. I really hope she doesn't let them brain wash her. By the way I didn't get you name. My name is Kitty." Kitty said to [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"]

[member="Kitty"]

Jaster smiled, "the name is Jaster Awaud," he took off his glove and offered it to for a shake of hands, "as for your friend, I wouldn't worry, the silvers are a lot more open minded then the order in my opinion."

Jaster found out the other female was an apprentice for the silver Jedi when he found two undercover guards walking around the space port. They weren't very stealthy, but then Jaster did almost miss them if they hadn't of noticed him as the "Spacelanes Doctor", and asked for help. These days Jaster was helping a lot of people that they just thanked him at a much later basis. He figured this was another time, but then saw a glimps of their Lightsaber. After a little deduction he figured they were from the Jedi order till he saw one of the blades showed a silver Jedi guard patch he recognized, a little slip up and he figured it all out. He pointed them in the right direction to find their "Missing Daughter" and went on his way.

"So where is our heading kitty?"

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
"Felacat, my home planet." Kitty answered. "I haven't been there since I was a little kitten and I can't wait to get off this accursed planet. These cloth covering my ears are driving me insane. The overwhelmingness of this planet is driving me insane. I'm not looking forward to the hyperspace though."

Jaster did remember something that could assit the Sith in her anger moods aboard the ship. The remedy was mentioned to him by Jedi masters, though it may not work on Sith of her caliber.

"Give me a second," Jaster went back into the shuttled and brough back a plant root and a bottle of some sorts. "You got two choices for the ride," he held up the root, "Gimer Bush Cane, helps with meditation and balance or something," he held up the bottle, "or Mandalorian Whisky and bar fights," he cracked a smile, "the last guy chose the bottle, said it was more fun."

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Kitty gave a half hearted laugh. "I'm afraid meditation would only make things worse." Kitty said before hesitantly grabbing the bottle of whiskey. "Is there no third option?" She asked desperately. "I have a bad feeling about this."

[member="Jaster of clan Awaud"]

[member="Kitty"]

Jaster shrugged, the only other options were lock her in one of the guest rooms, or the brig. Neither seemed kind to any traveler, no matter how devistating they could injure his crew. "The only other options are sedative and as we are a medical fleet it will be easy enough, or be locked up."

Jaster pulled his blaster out of his holster and throw it in the shuttle, it was always uncomfortable to ride with, "Choose the whisky and no lightsabers love, my marines always like a good fight, and don't worry about injures, we got bacta tanks to spare, only kill the non-Mandalorians if you could."

Jaster entered the shuttle and sat in one of the passenger seats.

Kitty

Kitty took the wiskey and entered the shuttle with [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] sitting down alongside him. "Wait no lightsabers aboard or no lightsabers in the brawl, because I never go anywhere without my lightsaber. You wouldn't have to worry about the brawl though. I can't even hold a lightsaber in my other form. I'll do my best not to kill anyone but I don't exactly have a ton of control." Kitty said feeling very awkward with the whole conversation. "Oh one other issue. Do you have any spare clothing my size? Unfortunately my other form also likes to shred what I'm wearing."

[member="Kitty"]

Jaster really enjoyed with little conversation they were having, the dancing around with words. He very rarely found anyone so reserve yet confident, let alone in a Sith. He useraly found them as good drinking partners, and people who knew how to live, yet pompous when sober. Though they did have their own level of entertainment for the aging Mandalorian. They fought and killed for their ideas as much as any other life form in the Galaxy. He didn't mind, more killing kept him in the buissness, less killing meant less profits.

"I believe my daughter is about your size," Jaster looked at her, sizing her at a glance, "I think she would still have some cloths on the ship," Jaster moved on with the other part of the conversation, "no lightsabers in the fight, and killing really isn't against the rules, but the crew would really enjoy testing their strength since the last time one of your race was on board, let's just say I hope you remember."

The last time Jaster had one of them aboard, he killed 4 of his crew and injured 13 more before reaching the destination, 15 min away. Jaster thought it unbelievable, naturally superhuman, it massively impressed the crew with the fighting style and the man stayed aboard long enough to join in on the killed funeral. Jaster enjoyed the creatures presents as he was very capable of holding his ale, that always impressed Jaster.

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
When Kitty learned [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] had a daughter she did not want to move on from the subject. She found it curious the man had a daughter. From what she heard his kind of ship didn't sound like the ideal place to raise a daughter. To Kitty's disappointment though the subject was changed. He cleared up her question about the lightsaber thing. "Yea you don't have to worry about that."

As soon as she could Kitty switched the conversation back to his daughter. "When you mentioned your daughter's clothing it sounded like she wasn't on the ship anymore. Where is she now?" Kitty asked.

[member="Kitty"]

Jaster did miss the company of his daughter, the ship was a vessel of war and he never thought he would raise a child. Jaster was a man was war, weather it be as a worrier or as a doctor, Jasters life was war. Though he never had a wife to know love, nor did he have emotions to let others close to him, years of death erase that from ones life. His walls were broken by a young child from the refugee camps.

"Yes, Shakk," Jaster stared off, his thoughts were of the last conversation they had, "she found out she was a force user and set out on her own adventure, last I heard she was at a fleet academy studing to be a science officer, she hasn't decided on which order to join so she's traveling as a Journeyers, healing and teaching where ever she is."

Jaster loved the little girl he found in the refugee camp so many years ago, a child who lost her parents. "I adopted her, her parents were killed in a conflict between the Republic and the One Sith, we still don't know the party responsible."

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
"Kitty regretted pretty quickly asking that question. She knew the One Sith were most likely responsible. They had bad habit of not caring if for anyone caught in the middle of their fights. She of course couldn't tell [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] this though he probably knew himself. Still it would do no good bringing it up especially for Kitty being a part of the One Sith and all. "I'm so sorry. I kinda know what it's like. I was taken away from my parents and sold as a slave. The One Sith ended up taking me in and taking care of me after I killed my former master. My parents are still alive though or at least I hope so. That is why I am on this trip to reunite with them. I'm kinda scared of what will happen when I get there though. I wasn't well thought of when I was little because I was a little different from the others. Still I don't know if I will want to stay with them or not, or if they will even want me to stay. They probably think I'm dead and might wish me to stay that way. Because of me they were losing favor with their people. The people weren't fond of the idea that I was next in line to be Queen." Kitty held up the bottle of whiskey she was given. "People tend to drink this stuff when they want to forget something yes?" Kitty asked.

[member="Kitty"]

Jaster grabbed two glasses from with in the shuttle, "It's worked for me for years," he grabbed the bottle nicely and poured each other a drink, "plus in my opinion, the One Sith are more honest then the other nation, they fund more of my refugee camps then the republic, not out of guilt, but because they know what will happen, and who wants to rule over a barren land."

Jaster took a single sip of the rough liquor, it burned as it slithered down his throat. "If they killed my daughters real parents, the Sith would own up to it or forget the victims face, as for the republic, they care less for damage, as long as they hold onto the planet."

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Kitty was rather intrigued by this mans way of viewing the world. She still wasn't sure what she thought of him but she did trust him far more now. Kitty grabbed the glass [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] had poured. "Well at least I don't have to worry about you disliking me simply because I'm a sith." Kitty said before hesitantly taking a sip of the whiskey she was given. Though it was only a sip it was enough for her to vocalize the extreme discomfort it gave her tongue and throat on its way down. The alcohol immediately began to effect her. It was a strange sensation and hard to describe. Her head just felt a little weird. "How the heck do you drink this stuff?" Kitty asked with shock.

"By pouring it down your throat."

The voice of the Sith sounded off from who seemed to be a regular merc. Closer inspection would reveal a 'new recruit', and ultimately the familiar face of this Zabrak. [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] would certainly recognize the red man from their past dealings. Ferus was aboard the shuttle for a single reason. His apprentice, [member="Kitty"] , and her want to find her parents. The search would provide rather unique training for the girl, and it was something he couldn't just let her go off on her own and do. Especially after he learned what her parents did.

With both hands up the Zabrak would try to be as non threatening as possible. Now that the mandalorian was public about his acceptance of the Sith and the Jedi gone, he simply hoped there wouldn't be too much anger about his own stowing away. "Mind if I get a glass as well?"

[member="Kitty"] [member="Darth Ferus"]

Jaster figured that Sith useraly travel in packs when at a young age, so that a single young Sith was wondering around a space port was odd to him. Then again nothing about his encounter with the young women was normal. He did recognize the Sith master as a prominent member of the Sith. With little infermation available to him through his intelligence networks, the dark lord was a well known artist with swords. To have him as a master was interesting to say the least. Being a Mandalorian and honoring those who could fight better then them, it was an hidden impression of honor that he held for the man.

"Practice make perfect, as an aging Mandalorian, drinking is all that's left," Jaster through another drink down his throat, it wasn't effecting him. Years of drinking do that to a mans tolerance, "and let's be honest Darth Ferus, if you were here to harm me, I would be dead."

Jaster filled another drinking glass with the whiskey, once filled Jaster handed it to the Sith Master. He knew full well the power of a Sith Lord, let alone anyone with the ability of force users. He worked many jobs for both sides of the line and on few occasions the gray area. He was an ant in their power struggle for dominance of the Galaxy.

"Master!" Kitty exclaimed in surprise nearly jumping out of her seat and spilling her drink. "Wha...What are you doing here?" How the heck did she not smell him? Even if she was too distracted to sense him with the force she would have sensed him with her physical senses long ago. She would never forget his particular scent. Kitty lightly face palmed herself with her free hand. She had forgotten the barriers she placed on herself to protect her ears and nose from over stimulation. Eager to get the darn things off now that she remembered them Kitty unwrapped the multiple cloth hair bands and unplugged her nose. Kitty's brain completely shut down as her ears and nose once again began to process information about her surroundings. It took a moment for her to recover from the sudden shock of all the new information.

Kitty calmed herself down and listen to whatever explanation was about to be given. It hadn't even occurred to her that he may have heard her conversations with the would be jedi.

here was still the issue of her drink to consider. Her master had shown no sympathy for her difficulty with the beverage. It felt to her like he expected her to be able to handle it and not wanting to disappoint him she began downing it not wanting to disappoint him. Kitty quickly regretted the action as the alcohol wreaked havoc on her. "I'm nah.....nawt.....do...en to hawwt." Was all she could say; hardly comprehensible before passing out.
[member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] [member="Darth Ferus"]

Ferus took the drink in his hands, idly sipping at the rim. He wasn't one to down a drink, and always seemed to prefer savoring it. A smile formed over the red lips however as [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] spoke. If Ferus wanted to kill him he could of? No, this man was giving the Sith way to much credit.

"Come now, Mandalorians have slain countless force users. They're just as dangerous, and if not far more. What happened when you take away a Mandos equipment? They can still kill. But most Sith and Jedi? Take a force breaker and they become easy, easy targets no?" The Sith offered a faint wink before turning his gaze to his apprentice. He had ignores her initial question about why he was here, but when she downed the drink and got too drunk to stay awake, a brow slowly raised on his face.

"I never understood why apprentices try so hard to impress their master. While admirable, I'd rather have her still breathing then impressive and dead." With that the red man would move over to her, taking off the merc cloak he wore. Gently he would wrap her in it, as if tucking her in. On the outside he was a hardcore Sith, but compassion to him still counted as passion itself.

"I take it you're taking her to her home world then? Why? I thought Mandalorians hated Sith."

Jaster enjoyed the girls effort to impress those she admired, he to was young, and remembered those days fondly. He pored another drink again and sipped on it this time as the Sith did. Jaster spent years after his exile drinking his pain away, never to see his homeworld again, the lush plains and breath taking mountains, it was heartbreaking. Though Jaster found his calling, he would devote himself to the aid of others.

As the Sith asked the hardest question, yet one he is often asked. The question of whether to help or not, and it was always to help for Jaster. "I'm an exile Mr. Ferus, I lost my home for speaking out, no one was there to help me, I only had my crew when all was said and done," Jaster looked deeply into his drink, "I'm an old soldier sir, I've had my fill of war, and it's not why I help you apprentice, yet more of why I help people at all, and to answer that,"

Jaster looked up to the Dark Lord of the One Sith, "If I don't hold my hand out, then those who normally wound just might follow, and wouldn't that be a peaceful Galaxy huh?"

Jaster took a last sip of his drink before heading to the pilots area of the shuttle, "Get cozy, I'll check with the final check ups before hitting the road, will you be joining us?"

"All Mandalorians were called back not too long now, and all would be accepted with open arms and those in exile would be forgiven. Why didn't you take that?" Ferus had heard of the offer, and he was surprised any mandalorian wouldn't take it. But for now, this one was a friend. Leaning back in his seat, the red man would cast a glance towards [member="Kitty"] . Such a young girl, but so touched by the dark side.

"Your people are of honor correct? I would love to participate in your fighting rings. As an Iridonian, I can honestly say id love to see that fight. Now, we should pay for the trip no? How about a wadger? I fight against your strongest. If I win, its free. If I loose, I pay and and do some chores on your ship. Sound fair?"
