Quest to find her past. (open)

Ferus raised a brow to [member="Kitty"] 's laughing fit, but it was a good sign for the Sith Lord. Perhaps she wasn't as weak as he thought she would be. He would turn his head back to [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] , offering a quick nod. "I suppose we'll rest then. Asides, I like keeping the places I'm going to fight in a surprise. Makes it that much more interesting no?" And perhaps give your people an edge. The last part went unspoken, but Ferus liked fighting against the odds.

With that, he would turn his head about, a slight frown now forming on his face. "I forgot how large these ships can be. How many people can fit on board?"

Jaster smirk didn't go away as the apprentice became cocky about her other form. Jasters met a lot of shifter in his life, some lost control others didn't have a choice, yet they all had their weak spots. The mind works in odd ways, Jaster had the proof of that in his cargo bay. Yet he was not the master of this child, nor was he a teacher period. He did figure though that the veterans Sith Master would teach the child what Jaster knew. Even beast have a voice in the back of their mind, so why shouldn't a piece of the host.

"None taken, though I'm sure I'll get an earful from my daughter, though she would anyways," Jaster walked them too their quarters and radioed one of his daughters friends to gather some cloths for the guest. "As for the cruiser sir, transport could transport up to 700 people easily, 900 if they squeeze in the cargo bay, fully supplied probably 500 with safety precosions in place, one time we got 1000 refugees off planet with the ship, had to travel at class 3 to keep the refugees in engineering safe from possible radiation leaks," Jaster turned down a few hallways before stopping outside a doors across from one another, it seemed to be a barracks.

"These are the ambassador suites, only rooms where you can be alone for a few minutes," Jaster pointed down the hallways, "down there and take a right is an old Jedi training room if you wana practice anything," Jaster brought nodded over to four guards walking down the hallway, "these are the Healer Guilds Security Units, boys call them the servants, pretty much just the police when we have refugees, need anything, just ask them, they really are just harmless."

Jaster looked at them and would answer questions if they had any, "questions?"

"I don't have any, no. Well no, just one. When do the fights begin?" Ferus oddly enough was looking forward to the dueling ring, and for two reasons. One, to fight [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] 's best and two, to show his strength to [member="Kitty"] . The latter was far more important amazingly enough, and already his blue eyes would travel to the cat. Would she last long enough for him to truly show her? Time would tell.

Once more his attention would turn to the Admiral, and he offered a faint grin. "I just look forward to beating some people up is all."

Jaster was amused by the Sith Lords anticipation for the battle. Jasters crew was also excited about the combat that would follow, the crew had been placing bets since volunteers were asked. The roster of fighters was longer then Jaster imagined, for the young female, Kitty had 15 opponents that wish to fight her in her beast form. What many saw as a death match, his crew was crazy enough to die in combat with such a rare opponent.

For the Sith Lord Ferus, opponents were sluggish at first to volunteer, but after members of Jaster elite guard rose to the challenge. Others with to prove themselfs to their brothers and sister. The total roster not as high as kitty's but of the 12 opponents that volunteered, 6 of them were members of Jaster Vanguard Boarding Team. Veteran worriers from before Jaster was exiled from his homeworld, also trained by Madalorian Jedi Hunters.

"The fight will begin in half an hour, then about half an hour after that we enter hyperspace and all out combat is authorized," Jaster nodded his head slightly in respect, "sorry to leave you but until the fight I'm working with engineering to see if we could fix our problems and travel faster, excuse me." Jaster left the two with some crewmen leaving the men in green armor standing guard outside the twos door.

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Kitty looked at her master as Jester said they would be going in hyper space in an hour and half an hour before that the fights would start. "Does that mean you're up before me master?" Kitty asked.

After she would get her answer the young feline would go to her quarters and change into the clothing Jester provided her. It was a white T and skinny jeans. It looked horrific on her. The white did not go with the color of her fur at all. While the skinny jeans well Kitty didn't know what was wrong with that it just didn't look right. She would bear with it for now though for the sake of decency.

With that Kitty would take a nap until they went into hyperspace. She wished she could just sleep through it but she couldn't. The young feline had tried many times before but always woke up as soon as they went into the space time hack.
[member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] [member="Darth Ferus"]

"Hopefully it does [member="Kitty"] . I would like to show you why I am a Sith Lord before you cannot actually see for yourself." Ferus went to his own side of the room, though he didn't change or anything of the like. He was fine as he was, though he would sit on the end of his bed. [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] had been a gracious host so far, and he hoped sincerely that it would remain as such, but a small part of him always lived on that edge. Always thinking there was a large motive and he may have entered a trap. His face would contort into a frown as he tried to push the thoughts from the forefront of his mind.

Jaster wanted the fights just as much as he did after all.

A half an hour went by, the guards at the door received orders to gather the two and escort to the mess hall. The guard knocked on the metalic door before entering.

"Sir, ma'am, the Admiral is ready for you both, if you please follow us, we will take you to the arena." One of the guards spoke to the Sith Lord.

They closed the door and awaited them to emerge from their quarters.

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
Kitty woke up from her nap prematurely. It seemed as if her presence was being requested at the arena. Couldn't they have waited until they were in hyperspace? Oh well, Kitty got up and would follow behind her master to where they were being escorted.

Without wanting to keep [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] waiting the Zabrak quickly sprang from his seating position and nodded once to [member="Kitty"] . There was an almost childlike grin on his face as he nodded, as if he was but a boy going on a trip to an all you can eat candy store. But in reality, it was all because of how much he just loved to fight. His chance to go against Mandalorians in their own dueling ring was at hand, and it was something he had wanted to try for a rather long time.

Ferus stepped out of the room with both hands slipped behind his head, nodding once to the guard. "Shall we get going then?"

[member="Darth Ferus"] [member="Kitty"]

The two walked out of the room, there were now only two guards standing at the door. After seeing them one of the guards started to lead them to the mess hall, the long metalic hallways stretched for a good distance before making intersections and other doors. They continued for a little distance before turning into a doorway, yelling and coursing could be heard muffled behind it. Apon it being opened, a room of 50-75 men were in there with a empty circle in the middle of the room. Though the room could fit a little more people in it, there seemed to be camera-droids floating around. The men were in diffrent colored jumpsuits, others in peices of armor, and some just in plain military getup. They were all exchanging papers and credits with what seemed like bookies and gamblers. Jaster was seated in a table with other men in black Mandalorian armor, one could only guess who they were.

"Ahh, good to see you both rested and well, enjoy your knew quarters?" Jaster was no longer in military uniform, but in a grey and white robe, with a white hood.

Some men entered the ring and with a yell started to fist fight and with trained skill performed moves to knock the other out. After a few minutes one fell and did not get up, men from around the circle entered and helped carry the wounded man out to the next room were the medical room was.

"Sorry, some of the men were getting rowdy, let them take a few rounds with good credits," Jaster looked at the Sith Lord, "got your fight next, sound good?"

Ferus was practically brimming with excitement as he entered the room [member="Jaster of clan Awaud"] was in. With sheer joy in his eyes he watched the fight within, already flexing his fingers. This was what he had been waiting for. He turned to [member="Kitty"] , offering a quick nod before he turned his head back to the ring. "Let them do as they will. When they are ready to fight, let me know. Are there any rules I should know now however?" He cast a quick glance to the Admiral. This, while something the red man wanted, was something he didn't know a whole lot about.

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
As Kitty was led to the place where the fights were going on she was beginning to have second thoughts. This didn't look the least bit fun and she couldn't understand how anyone here could think it was let alone be dying to do it. [member="Darth Ferus"] gave a nod to Kitty before trying to work his way into a fight. There was a little comfort in Kitty knowing that as soon as she shifted she wasn't going to care how much she disliked all this. Though that comfort made her feel guilty.
[member="Jaster of clan Awaud"]

[member="Darth Ferus"] [member="Kitty"]

Jaster figured that possibly having rules would be a good thing, having dead crew was bad. The thought was stricken as it was a Mandaloran battle ring. Even as the commander of the ship, he couldn't offer rules to restock this men or their opponents, only mercy or knock outs were end of the matches. So as a tradition among those that carried no honor in the eyes of the true Manda'lor, they fought so.

"No rules, Ild prefer no dead crewmen, but none can be helped," Jaster held his arms up to create an 'X' with his forearms crossing, "this would be a mercy sign, any worrier calling it out useraly works in the trash pits, today though is an exception, they just work engineering," the men laughed as if it was still a sorry punishment, "only that, death, or knock outs are ends of the match."

Jaster pointed to three men, two were of medium height, one taller and more muscular. The taller one had a scar on his face and a tattoo of the Madalorian Worrier on his left arm. The other two were of similar height though one of more muscle then the other. All three wore a black tank top with dark brown military trousers, accompanied by black military boots. The tall one was bald while the others had full hair but with odd patterns in their hair.

"They will be you opponents, they wished to do a three on one, if you find that fair, you are next," Jaster lowed his voice to a whisper to the Sith, "don't underestimate, they are my special guard and are trained Jedi Hunters." Jaster leaned back in his seat and handed the man next to him a hand full of credits, "Shall we sir?"

Whoops! I missed this, forgive me!

A red hand reached out to pat the top of [member="Kitty"] 's head as he went to walk to the ring. "Watch and learn kid. It would be a shame if you missed it." A bravado that wasn't entirely real. While he wanted to impress his student, he also knew just how effective Jedi Hunters would be in a fight. Just one would be a threat. Ferus was armed as always with his two sabers, his hidden blade, and his other cyborg attachments, but this time he had with him a rather large revolver strapped to his waist. No rules was something he could get use to, though he wasn't too happy to see the Mandalorians outside their armor.

"You sure you lot don't want your Bes'kar?" It wasn't a taunt, but a serious question. Ferus wasn't going to hold back, and he couldn't help but feel guilty if they were literally blown apart.

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
In time the trip was over. Kitty recovered from her rage fit and [member="Darth Ferus"] had satisfied his itch to fight. The two were dropped and the ship took off for urgent business else where in the galaxy. Kitty walked out of the space port and had a look around. It was strange to say the least, both foreign and familiar all at the same time. Anxiousness began to settle on Kitty as she made her way to the palace. The two received many suspicious looks, the planet didn't receive many visitors and Kitty looked more like a Cathar than she did their kind. Kitty turned to her master. "This is something I need to do on my own." Kitty said to him before hopefully continuing on without him following.

Kitty walked up the steps to the palace entrance and was stopped by two highly trained guards. "Where do you think you're going?" one of them asked. "To the king and queen." Kitty said plainly. "There aren't any foreign ambassadors suppose to arrive today or anytime soon for that matter so I suggest you move along." "I'm their daughter." To that one of the guards burst out laughing followed by the other. "As desperate as they are there is no way they would adopt some mutant Cathar. Sorry kid but try your luck else ware." One of the guards said after recovering. Kitty wondered what the guards meant by desperate. Did her parents not have any other children and was she completely forgotten. Or maybe these weren't her parents, maybe her parents died and her siblings were currently trying to have some children. She needed to know what has happened and didn't feel like wasting time with these guards. If she hadn't already blown it with the daughter thing she could of pretended to be a jedi seeking to help them out but that was not an option now. "What does it take to get an audience then?" Kitty asked. "An invitation." The guards replied. "Then I'll invite myself." With that Kitty used the force to push the guards aside and walked in herself. Under normal circumstances Kitty could have found a way to sneak in quietly but these were her own people and sneaking past them was not possible. Only one person at the assassins had ever been able to sneak up on her and that was Ferus and even then he had only been able to do it when pulling out all the aces in his sleeves with preparation before hand.

The guards on the inside knew this girl had not been permitted to enter because it was she that opened the doors rather than the guards. There was only 4 of them and as soon as Kitty saw they knew she forced pushed one of them against a wall knocking them him out. Two of them aimed their guns while one shifted into his cat form on purpose and charged at her.. Oh how Kitty wished she could control it like that. Extending her hand Kitty created a barrier which blocked the incoming blaster fire but broke as soon as the heavy cat ran into it. It was female so not any bigger than Kitty's own form was at least not by a significant amount. This was a problem though. Kitty wasn't strong enough in the force to knock this one out. Igniting her red saber Kitty cut off the paw that was raised against her and rolled out of the way to quickly deflect the blaster fire right past those who fired them. "Stop I don't want to hurt you." The two stopped firing and gave warning in their comms then gave a look like they expected to die because they warned the others. "Are you going to lay down your weapons or am I going to have to kill you?" Kitty threatened though it was an empty one. None the less the guards actually laid their weapons down. Kitty really hoped the cat she just sliced would live. She really did not want to kill anyone. "Now grab her a doctor or something." Kitty said walking past them with her saber still ignited.

Kitty made her way to the throne room and oddly enough didn't come across a single guard on her way there. She found out why when she opened the door to the throne room and saw the queen and king on their thrones surrounded by tons of guards with their weapons pointed at Kitty. If they fired upon her Kitty knew she didn't have the skill to survive. She didn't even know if she could escape. Kind of a huge mistake on her part. Thankfully they did not fire and the King spoke. "What business does a sith have with us?" He asked. Kitty looked up at him and nearly broke down when she saw it was her father and to his left was her mother. "Don't you recognize me?" Kitty asked a little hurt. "Should I?" the king replied before his wife spoke up. "Koneko........is that really you?" The queen asked. "Is that what my name was? I don't really remember." Kitty responded happy to see she wasn't completely forgotten. The king looked between the two in utter shock and confusion. "Think you could get your guards to well lower their guard? This is kind of an uncomfortable reunion." Kitty asked them nervously. The queen told the guards to leave while the king was just left dumb founded. Tears started coming to the queen's eyes as well as Kitty's as she put away her lightsaber. The king decided to put away the many questions swarming around in his head for the time being and went to his daughter all three of them coming together in a group hug. "We thought you died." The king said. Kitty only shook her head no in response, she couldn't seem to find her voice.

After the tears had died down a bit and the two females could actually talk again the queen spoke again. "Why are you......" the queen gestured to Kitty's lightsaber unable to associate her daughter with the word sith. The king interrupted before any answer could be given. "Lets give her a proper welcome home before we start getting into that." With that the king started ordering a feast to be served for the family. In the mean time Kitty was given a tour of her old home. She vaguely remembered it all and it was all very surreal.

Kitty was led to the royal feasting chambers and sat down with her mother and father. The first question they had was what happened to her the day she disappeared. Kitty told her story about how she got caught but slavers and was sold as a pet. How she was rescued by Ferus and trained to become a sith since she was force sensitive. "So do you.....kill people?" The king asked. "I'd rather not talk about that right now." Was Kitty's response. There was a long silcen that followed as they all awkwardly ate their gourmet food. Kitty of course was only able to eat the meat parts of the feast. "So Koneko" the queen was about to say before being cut off from Kitty. "It's Kitty now." Her parents couldn't help but laugh a bit at that. "Why would you chose that ridiculous name over your real name?" The King asked. "It's the name my slaver master gave me and I've just grown use to it. My name would still be Koneko if all this didn't happen, but it did so I'm not Koneko, I'm Kitty." "Wait so you aren't going to stay with us?" the queen asked to which Kitty's ears dropped. "I don't know. I kinda thought you wouldn't want me." "What?" The king and queen both said in unison. "When I was with you guys the kingdom looked down on you because of me and it didn't seem like you liked me because of that." The king and queen didn't know what to say to that and Kitty was the one to break the awkward silence that followed. "Why don't I have any siblings?" "I'm no longer fertile." The king said and Kitty did not feel like pressing why. She didn't want to make the wound hurt anymore than it already did. Again there was a long silence until the queen broke it this time. "So where is this Ferus the guy that's been taking care of you all this time?" "He's actually on this planet with me if you want to meet him." "Excelent." the queen was about to say more when the king shot her a look. He could accept hid daughter being a sith after all she was his daughter but he did not want any other sith on his planet at all. "If he wanted to kill us or something don't you think he would have done it by now." The queen replied knowing exactly what her mate was thinking. The queen then ordered some soldiers to find the man and invite him to the feast.

"Yes, I probably would have." The Zabrak's voice spoke out from one of the guards. Suddenly, the hologram that was one of these men faded, revealing Ferus underneath. A simple projection from his belt. While [member="Kitty"] had asked him to stay behind, it wasn't something he could do. This meeting was pivotal for her progression with the Sith after all. Both his signature and his scent were masked, one by the Force and another by a simple fruit he had picked up prior. There was a bruise visible on his eye now, from the fight with the mandalorians, but he payed it no mind. Casually he walked towards the table, calling forth a cup of whine with the Force.

"So you are the parents that locked her up in a tower because of how she looked? I can't say I'm all that impressed."

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
The queen did not get to give her orders out as Ferus appeared disguised as one of the guards. The other guards instantly trained their weapon on him but the king stopped them with a raised and and a shout to stop. "Ferus I assume. Please have a seat." He said gesturing to a seat away from Kitty. He did not like the man at all and disliked it even more that he would be near her daughter and didn't even want to think about how this had been the man raising her.

Kitty in the mean time was upset he chose to follow her. She wondered how long he had been doing so. At the same time though she was glad he was here. Knowing he had been around put her at ease quite a bit. What he said though about them locking her up brought back some painful memories she would have rather left forgotten.

"So Ferus or master Ferus what ever you prefer to go by." The queen spoke. "Thank you for taking care of our daughter, but if you don't mind me asking why her and why the sith?"
[member="Darth Ferus"]

"Ferus is fine." Oddly enough, he would remain standing, idly sipping at a cup of wine. In truth, he hated the king. Hated the idea of anyone locking their child up in a tower. It took quite a bit for him to not slaughter the room, and if it wasn't for [member="Kitty"] 's kind heart, he would of by now. Instead, he would train his gaze on the King, speaking to him directly as he answered the queens answer.

"Well, I didn't lock her up, and she didn't get caught by a slaver. I think we're doing pretty well, even if we are Sith. No potential creepers to lock her in chains and force her to be an animal for years on end. And in truth, I can't stand people like her being made into slaves. It's one thing when a slave is understood and treated right. But if you saw how she was treated, locked up like she was an animal, I'm sure you'd of done the same thi-" He cut off as a threatening smile spread over his lips. "Right, I said it before. You did the same thing he did, didn't you?"

Kitty

The Attention Seeker
"She was hurting and in some cases killing our people? What would you have done let her loose and kill uncontrollably. We didn't lock her up and treat her as a pet. We locked her up to protect her from other and from herself until she calmed down. Oh wait sith right I forgot. You would have let her roam free and kill everyone. Would have maken her stronger right, so she can kill even more." The king said furious he had to defend himself morally from a sith a freaking sith! What right did a sith have in judging their parenting.

Kitty and the queen in the mean time were shocked by the sudden turn of event and Kitty was unhappy her past was being brought up like this. She was trying to have a nice peaceful meal with her parents she hasn't seen in forever but no they have to pull out an old wound so they can twist their thumbs into it. "Can we not?" Kitty asked and the queen agreed. "Ah see even Koneko disagrees with your methods." The king couldn't help but give another stab. Both the queen and Kitty shot him a glare. Kitty mostly for him using her old name.

"If I were you, your highness, I would remember that insulting a Sith is a quick way to the grave. You know we kill, and you would be wise to remember that." Ferus's voice was cold now. In truth, it was becoming that much harder to resist killing him outright. [member="Kitty"] seemed far to content with what had happened to her, something that the Zabrak was not alright with.

"And, we will not stop. You locked her away for years, when you could of tried to train her to stop her shifting. Already I've made progress with that, and I'm not even part of your species. Rather than deal with it, you filthy royals locked her away out of sight. How many times did you go up and see her? How long did it take for you to know she was missing? If you actually cared, you would of found her missing immediately, and found her before the slaver took her away and forced her to a life in chains. If she was my daughter, I would of slaughtered anyone who dare get in the way of finding her, but how long did it take before you gave up? A year? A month? Perhaps a day? Answer me, king."
