Matsu thought about it for a moment or two. "Maybe, the majority of jedi are decent people it is the few who try to influence the many. I'd prefer we just avoid them, there are plenty of ways around detection and I know a trick or two... even three." That had her smiling though while she watched Jeela with her nieces and laughed. This was going to get along just fine and seeing Saia was listening she finished eating. They had things to talk about but that could come later for now it was time to sleep and Matsu looked to Jeela.

"When you are finished eating, there are beds upstairs, just choose a free one and rest, Tomorrow we'll head out for some people who I left on fairly good terms with last time. I could only learn so much from them but now I think without the distractions we might be able to learn more." That had her grinning more inwardly, something had changed she could fee it and she would heal herself now she just knew it but how she went about it could be left for many to observe.

Jeela nodded. She knew how to avoid detection. It was easy enough. Hide the Force signature and no Force user would pay attention to you. It was how she travelled around the galaxy's hotspots without being hunted by Sith.

"I know how to avoid detection from Jedi as well, and Sith, and any other Force users we have no desire to meet." She paused, thinking, "You learned to hide your Force signature from my people, correct?" She paused at that. Her people. That was still how she thought of them, despite being excommunicated and then exiled. Family was family, she supposed, even if there were serious unresolved issues between members. Except maybe Roth. So be it.

She made another goofy face at the kids, and nodded at the words. She was looking forward to sleep. But, not yet perhaps. There was still plenty of food and Matsu's nieces. Or perhaps she needed this rest more than sleep. A home. Family. Love. Good food. These brought a healing to mind and body that not even the greatest night's sleep could manage. She. Odes at the further words. Who were these people this time? She suspected she'd find out. Then she had a thought, and spoke softly, "If you ever wish to return to learn from the Jensaarai again, it might be best to leave me on Voss."

Matsu thought about it, she would possibly want to relearn from her companion and be able to hide herself again while she walked up the stairs and smiled. "I will keep that in mind but sometimes people amaze you." She ascended the stairs and entered the room looking at Saia as the two shared a nod and Matsu went to the bed. "So does she know the full story?"

Matsu looked up. "That I was severed from the force and banished because I remained calm in the eye of the storm that is the jedi councils emotions? No she doesn't nor does she know the way I healed myself. Searching out the five priestesses and passing their trials, facing the darkness and fighting an ancient sithspawn. Jeela is a talented student and a good person, I am a former jedi master who has killed in war, rejecting battlelust and choosing to have serenity."

"Or perhaps you mean that in everything done, no one actually asked me. [member="Kiskla Grayson"] is wise but she is a child in high school. Her wisdom is more like a cliche and only comes from what she is told. A wonderful ability for a puppet but wisdom comes from many other things." Matsu laughed and spared a thought for the woman who had judged her before they had ever actually met. It had made it funny and showed how far the jedi were going backwards to her. She had almost wanted to send a message for her but the items she had gotten from the auctions were safe.

"It is no matter though, there are few things one can do and I had a choice. Infinite despair and rage cursing the jedi, wishing them dead and seeking power for powers sake. To become strong and tear them apart, or I could go another way, to the light and disregard their hatred. I'll let the light judge me and it has, the eye of the sun reacts to the lightside of the force as does the solari crystals. If I was so evil as she believes me they would burn instead they glow with inner light."

It was late and as Matsu laid there with the taozin amulet she set her hands behind her head while Saia just laughed to that. Her sister had left the jedi order because of their ability to ignore and not look at issues. Now she was going downstairs and holding her children looking at Jeela with a smile.

Jeela shrugged at he comment. She wasn't entirely sure what to make of that comment. She and the Saarai-Kar were not on the best of terms, to be sure. That was an understatement, to say the least. Exile was a bit extreme. Then again, so had some of her words. They had deserved it though.

She went back to cleaning up the plate and finished not long after, and rose as Saia returned downstairs. Jeela gave a small bow, "You have my thanks for your hospitality and wonderful dinner. May I assist in the cleaning up?"

Saia looked at Jeela and shook her head. "No no I'll take care of this, you go and sleep. You'll need the energy and my sister is not one to simply rest. She'll be up soon enough and ready to continue on." A smile came to her face while she moved about cleaning and shooing off Jeela upstairs. The work they had been doing was good and they would be abel to later on continue towards something greater as she moved to the kitchen to quickly clean and finish up.

Jeela nodded with a smile, "I'll do that then. That you so much, again." She stood and walked up the stairs, pausing to make another silly face at the kids, and then moved to an open bed. She slipped her boots off and sat down on the bed, suddenly tired and feeling strangely at home. It was comforting, to be sure, and she dropped quickly.

The night was peaceful and calm, Matsu was dreaming mostly of Hanna and enjoying the dream. She pushed the force out to feel the woman who had done several things to her aside from actually fight on her behalf. She had also known the full story without bias of Metalorn and Manaan and gladly accepted that things happen in war and still loved her it was why in everything she didn't give into hate. It would cost her the one thing besides her family and children that was constant.

The next morning Matsu rose up as she changed cloths dressing in a more formal robe while she smiled. Taking one of her nieces and holding her while she touched the girls white hair. She almost wanted to sing but after the intense work the day before, good food and all the rest she was relaxed, loose and ready for whatever was coming next. The box of scrolls and information for them to practice had Matsu packing it up and Saia joining her while they quickly went to the ship. The vanguard getting loaded up in the cargo bay with a few things as Matsu waited for Jeela and prepared the next course.

Jeela woke to sunlight streaming in her eyes, and out of old ha Its, she reached for her lightsaber, still not entirely sure awake and aware of where she was. Then her brain caught up with the rest of her and she stopped. She was safe here. Of that, she was absolutely certain. But now it seemed it was time to leave. As was the case with every place she felt at home. Those were never the ones she was able to stay at for a very long period of time. Normally not longer than three days.

She changed into cleaner clothes and pulled her coat back on, double checking to ensure that everything was in the correct pocket, and then headed down the stairs, bag in hand. Once outside the door, she paused to let her eyes adjust and then headed over to the ship, a previously nonexistent bounce in her step, and oddly enough, she was humming. She waved at Matsu's nieces once she saw them, and gave them a goofy smile before heading up the boarding ramp into the ship.

Matsu looked at Jeela when she arrived and while leaving this place seemed pre mature they had something few did, the experiences and the information on scrolls made by the eldest and strongest shapers. Her smile remained as well while the ship was bustling, with Saia and her babies clearing their own space and converting the bunkroom so there was a partition and space. Something to give Jeela her privacy, the cargo hold while full made into a training circle and prepped.

"We are heading to the Fallanassi next Jeela. Tell me what do you know of the white current?" It was not something many learned about no it was something only a handful but Matsu had learned many things namely... Having more skills at her disposal then simply being a jedi grants more wisdom and understanding. She doubted Kiskla Grayson would approve but already Matsu was thinking beyond her to the next generation of jedi and what they could do. What they would need. Her daughters, her nieces they needed soemthing stable.

Jeela dropped her pack on her bunk in the now much smaller bunkroom. It didn't bother her. Y any means. She"'do had much less space before, so it wasn't too different. Perhaps a little cozier, and with young kings as neighbors as well, which would make it less boring during hyperspace.

The Fallanassi? White current? She shook her head slowly in response to the question from [member="Matsu Ike"]. They were unfamiliar to her. Completely unfamiliar. "I have never heard of them before." Were they two different things? Or two names for the same thing? And what exactly did it do? It seemed something like movement, but she wasn't sure how

Matsu gave a nod of her head in understanding. "The Fallanassi have discovered and learned to use the force in a way few in the galaxy can. Their understanding of illusions and how to weave into the currents of the force allows them to hide things from the strongest sight. Or sense the cloaked and see it, not many can boast such a thing and they do not teach it lightly to outsiders."

THat had Matsu smirking though, she had met Arya the Fallanassi who trained another jedi master, the petite woman was skillful and had offered to train jedi to combat the ones who might abuse it. Now Matsu was in the cockpit and setting the course. The smile on her face though one of amusement. "Did you have fun learning for that brief time from the shapers? I know we are going to be leaving ass oon as we arrive in these places but I don't want news of these actions reaching the jedi order. The Silver Jedi can know every day but I don't want my location known."

Jeela nodded, listening, and then pursed her lips in slight confusion. "The Jensaarai can do that as well. They once managed to hide an entire Star Destroyer from the entirety of the restored Jedi Order and saw through one of their strongest illusionist's illusions. Is that similar to what the Falllanassi do?"

She knew some of the most experienced Defenders could do what she had described, while the rest had some skill in those areas. Apprentices weren't trained in those though. They were told they didn't have the knowledge or experience of the Force for such a feat.

"I did enjoy It immensely. It was an experience that was very mind opening about the complexities of the Force." She shrugged at the comment about leaving quickly. "I have lived several years in a nomadic way of life. More time in such a lifestyle will to hurt me."

"Yes kind of though the Fallanassi can at least in rumors hide entire planets. Where the Jensaari are skilled and can hide but also fight these people prefer to just hide or make illusions so real to your brain it believes what is happening." That was the best way to describe it was the Fallanassi were the pinnicle of illusions and hiding from sight much like how the mandalorians were some of the most skilled warriors in the galaxy or the sages of Baron Do wise compared to others. "They are reclusive people and learnign from them is hard, thankfully one of their elders came to the jedi long ago to help a coucilor and with the dangerous onset of users being taught in the sith. She offered to help teach other."

Jeela frowned, wrinkling her brow and nose in confusion. Planets? Did she say they could allegedly hide planets? Giant balls of rock or gas that created gravity wells atmospheres and magnetic fields? Apparently, she did. She shook her head slightly in amazement.

"Why would anyone want to hide a planet?" She wasn't entirely sure why she asked that, but it seemed a logical question, given the rumor. She could see multiple disastrous consequences from something like that. "But if their strength in illusion is as strong as you say, I could see why it would be important to learn from them. The advantages from that would be immense, and the disadvantages for those not versed in the art would be equally immense."

"Well it is a rumor or a legend those can become intertwined as time goes on and in history one of the best ways to make sure you are feared or respected could be to plant a seed, a rumor of power. Their powers together as elders can be immense and they don't like conflict. Sometimes the best way to avoid such things is to literally hide yourself. Hiding a planetwould certainly deter people, disguising it as a dead world where all the people died would keep them away."

Matsu shrugged also, she knew there was power in their illusions all best and brightest being unable to see them or sense them. It was what made masters like Je'gan so dangerous when he could just hide and walk up to kill you, something she feared but also knew would serve nothing but his own need for vengeace. Now she would if nothing else have the understanding to see through illusions and prepare herself, she wanted the skill because dangerous things came to those who didn't use the white current or understand it.

"That is understandable, I suppose, although I still struggle to believe anyone would do such a thing, given the long term consequences of such behavior on a planet's health in regards to the economy. As a drastic measure, I understand its appeal though."

She lapsed into a quiet silence. What power could one hold by creating such illusions? Immense power. She could see multiple uses for it that she could use. Even more that nefarious individuals could use. She suppressed a shiver that ran down her spine. The galaxy had just become far. One dangerous than she realized. Yet, there was also so much good she could be able,to accomplish with this power. It almost made her giddy.

Matsu gave a nod of her head to that, the implications of it were a powerful thing. Something she didn't fully know about until they saw it and Matsu focused on the starlines. Their own light giving her a few thoughts as the computer beeped, they were about to come out. The semi short trip made easier with hyperlanes as she moved about. Then the starlines were gone and returned to normal, the planet looming in the distance as Matsu went towards it and spoke. "Make sure when we head down that you are dressed plainly, robes and no weapons. We are guests here and they do not always take kindly."

Jeela nodded and unclipped her lightsaber from her belt, stashing it in a nearby compartment, and then stopped, frowning. "Do we have robes aboard that are in my size or adjustable,to my size?" She gestured to her pants, tunic, and coat combination. "These are the only clothes I bring when traveling, to save room and reduce the carried weight."

"We have better." Matsu walked and motioned going into her room and opening a drawer. "My cousin Nico is your size maybe a little bigger in the shoulders but your size all the same. I made these for her and all of my family." Matsu looked at Saia who had arrived and spoke about having touched down the ship. "Here it is a traditional Atrisian Kimono and the designs are hand crafted." Matsu smiled and moved to the closet changing herself while she let all of her tattoo's show for a moment before putting on the white and stripped kimono. She didn't need her saber.

Jeela studied the kimono, surprised and in awe of its elegance. She stepped lightly and examined it more closely. "It's beautiful." She took it gently, running her hands along the smooth fabric. "I did not know you had such skill with fabric as well."

She quickly changed into it, and then paused to accustom pose herself with the new design. It was lighter. More elegant as well. More graceful. She felt as if his would make water shaping much, much easier. Probably wouldn't survive a few months rebuilding a town the way her old clothes would, but that wasn't really the point.
