Desplat is by no means a bad composer, obviously his body of work speaks for itself, but I am definitely happy with the change and super excited to see what a Giacchino Star Wars movie will sound like. Giacchino has a lot more experience with actiony thriller scores, and I've pretty much been in love with his stuff since Lost.
