Scratching Names Off The Naughty List [Sith Empire VS Mandalorians - Invasion of Yaga Minor]

Yagai City - Encountering Sev3n

Carnage and mayhem had alerted a seasoned team of brave and war-hardened Mandalorians to the epicenter of violence and pain. From within the city the cries of Yagai rang in horror as a beast bellowed from the main thoroughfare. It's gnashing of teeth and swinging of its claws ripping apart anything in the lumbering path. A giant behemoth became the impending target for the team of besk'ar clad soldiers who came in flanking from all sides. Azrael's tumbler ripped down the side streets keeping a visual on the massive beast that had sent destruction in the path. The Sith were a cruel and bloodthirsty. They didn't just want to subjugate the Mandalorians, they would take out everything in their path to do it as well. The Yagai were generally a rather peaceful people, and the Mandalorians had treated them well for the ability to use the planet's rich resources in order to fortify and build their starships. This beast was threatening that civility, and Azrael and his team of trained Mandalorians were not about to abide such plunder.

Punching the throttle and circling back around, radio communications on a party line gave the orders to ascend higher to the larger buildings to surround Sev3n on all sides. Soldiers equipped with various weapons to take care of the bulky and ferocious beast. Azrael was leading another team around the city on snake-eyes to coordinate a strike attack against this threat. Weapons were primed, and he was certainly not about to go light on something so large. Four bikes came from the cardinal directions kilometers away racing towards the beast's current location. Weapons hot, he gave the order as rockets sprayed from each targeting to climb in altitude and aim for the most concentrated mass of the creature while his team of snipers on the rooftops began to make pot shots at the creature from all sides.

"Regroup, and keep it on it's toes. We don't want to engage directly until we can determine it's weakness. Keep moving, and keep firing, keep it distracted until the city can be clear. Then we will bring the rain." The Rally Master ordered as the bikes dipped down alleyways, manuvering through the streets again to regroup and attempt a second run. Sev3n would need to keep track of over a dozen moving targets that were all far more nimble than it was, in order to try and deal with the opposition of the Mandalorians.

ON YAGA MINOR OBJECTIVE: RESCUE DARTH MORTIVIOUS
@[member="Darth Mortivious"] @[member="Basaba Willamina"] @Moria Skaldi

Aedan walked into his personal room and started to pull on his BTI-ACA armor the Marksman variant it was lighter and allowed for slightly less protection but still protected him for longer then normal. He walked down the ramp of the Dreadnaught after grabbing his weaponry from the armory. Today he carried his Lightsaber, shoto, lightstaff, both vibroblades, and in place of his pistols he had picked up a BTI-HBC Ravager and he hefted it up to rest on his shoulder as he looked around finally calling out in and loud slightly distorted voice. "DRAGUS AND ROGAN I WANT YOUR BATTALIONS TO PREPARE TO MOVE OUT!" Aedan calmly walked forward knowing that the 50 squads of Cragmoloids would be moving into position to follow their leader towards the position that had been indicated. As they walked into the woods they heard the sound ships entering the atmosphere and Aedan looked up noting the rest of his force coming in except for two squadrons of Raider-class interceptors breaking off to intercept the Inimica-class sadly for them the pilots of the raiders had seen them and assumed they were going after the FOB that was unacceptable as such the 24 of them were now moving to intercept them and remove them from the equation. Aedan chuckled as the ships that were there and the ships that had just showed up landed supplying his men with more materials and a better way to set up defenses. The Dire-class patrol ships now sat on the outside edge of the FOB in almost a triangle shape their shields moved so that the upper half was covered protecting them more from aerial attacks.

Aedan Miles nodded to his men and then broke into a jog towards a rise about 700 meters from their destination. Upon reaching it Aedan Miles would stop and take the weapon he had brought with him and slowly line it up with the Mandalorian forces arrayed against Darth Mortivious firing the deadly weapon once before merely tossing it to a Cragmoloid who hoisted the human sized weapon easily and attached it to his back. He nodded to his men not caring how much damage the first shot did it was meant to distract the Mandos for a bit while they charged in which is just what they were now doing.

Allison watched as troopers came out and charged them... They were death charging the two tanks... One actual and whole and the other a living behemoth. Perhaps the blonde didn't know what she was doing but then she felt the force push and stood there. Allison stood her ground and raised an eyebrow. The girl had to be half her size and most like a fraction of her weight. The mandalorian rose to the full height as the E-web clicked empty bringing a grin. She tossed it aside taking out a combat knife (sword to others) and moved forward. She didn't need to speak just slashed into one of her troopers before grabbing another and throwing him at her. Yes she would and could use her own troopers as a weapon before the beskad flew to stab Paega.

Venom dripped from the Sith’s stare. He made sure a direct line of sight with the woman was available at all times. She was just a hair shorter than he, and her build was that of brawn. She hid behind her armor just as Alaxander hid behind his. His face was hidden by the armor, but she could likely still feel the hate radiating from his every pore. The Dark Side may have lost some of its grip over Mortivious, but he could still feel the teachings of the Sith coming back. He was still the same warrior, it wasn’t the weapon that made the man but the willpower to survive.

“I will wear your blood proudly.” He boasted, licking his lips in preparation for the battle ahead. An armored right fist went straight for her face, looking as though it had the full force of a Rancor shockboxer. Then he grunted, shifting all of his weight into his left fist, faking her out hopefully and delivering a powerful strike to her core, sending her back a few feet.

It didn’t matter what happened after another second however, seeing as a gigantic explosion sounded twenty feet off, amidst the troops following the Mandalorian warrior. Where Mortivious requested a simple extraction he got an armada to come to his rescue, soon the battlefield would be ripe with blood from both sides.

Yaga Minor - on the ground

Moira was indeed not immune to force powers. One might add that strictly speaking the anti-force user grenades were not immune to force pushes and similar tricks - they simply blew up in the face of any force-user who tried to block them with it, which made it rather ill-advised to use such measures against them. Regardless Moira was obviously engulfed by the force push that surged forth from the Sith, powered by hate, fury and frustrations, emotions that could amplify the power of a force-user, drive them to greater heights.

All these were feelings and effects that Moira could not understand. She was beyond human emotion, she had been cleansed of it when she was ascended, or, to use the more technical term that did not convey the magnitude, processed. Likewise she also could not understand the Force. She had, however, become remarkably good at meting out violence and destruction. So when the Sith death charged them and she was hit by the powerful force push she was indeed knocked off her feet and tossed back, though probably with less force than an ordinary human. There were no countermeasures she could take against a barrage of telekinesis except to ride out the wave. She did have the strength of five humans after all, despite her delicate frame, and beneath her skin sheath was made of metal. As she was tossed Moira spun in the air, controlling her descent, and in the same motion one hand grabbed an anti-force user grenade, this one loaded with incendiary, pulled the pin and tossed it at Paega, velocity and the distance between them expertly calculated. The other hand gripped the boltgun tightly and squeezed the trigger, three rounds of 30mm x 45 mm explosive bolts, designed to be effective against personal armour and even light vehicles, exiting it as the bolter roared and shooting towards the Sith Knight. With superhuman strength one hand sufficed to hold the otherwise heavy and bulky weapon and aim properly. Doubtless some of the hot shards of shrapnel would hit Moira, the shockwave might toss her back a bit further, but she was a tough cookiee and any burnt skin could be regrown.

As for Moira's minions, the Omega Pyre soldiers, five of them were caught in the blast of telekinesis and thrown across the field like ragdolls, but then they were minions. The rest of them, in the second firing line, kept up a steady volley of repeater and bolter fire at the Sith stormtroopers, lobbing in grenades.

Basaba Willamina

Basaba looked at the sith as he attacked, her little test was ignored but he seemed to be trying something. She had nearly four hundred sisters all of whom were at times bigger then her... Who fought just as dirty as the sith could. Honor was a funny thing but here and now she let her hands come down to his fist. Let the impact against the chest piece of her armor come as she did the one thing he might expect. She grasped at his hand and squeezed. It was doubtful he knew what she was wearing of why she wanted him close but.... but now he was and while the supercommandos and chai la came under attack the teams moved.

Her grip though did what a crushgaunt could do, micro slivers of beskar to catch lightsaber blades was fancy but it also made bones, made skulls or armor feel like cheap toothpicks. Basaba squeezed at the wrist, at the hand that had hit her and looked up the smirk in her face. In her eyes a dark humor as she went to move closer and deliver an uppercut with a slink. The vibro knuckler ejecting to try and catch under the jaw where most helmets were as protected. The beeping confirmation on her HUD said Solus and the others were doing as needed as they opened fire. The super commandos would use their heavy assault cannons.

The super commando's opened fire, on the squads of crags, Chai La went to work their skills varied as the dead mando's who laid in the river brought only some rage. More then that though it brought artillery fire, Basaba could handle the explosions going off but the mass drivers aimed into the groups to fire through them. The heavy explosions to tear, to rip and to burn them. The spotters and heavy weapon specialists moving along were what was needed as Solus called on the coms for gun ships. As Sorcha used several thermals for effect.

YAGA MINOR GROUND OBJECTIVE: REVEAL PRESENCE TO THE WILLAMINA CLAN!

Aedan Miles came charging through the trees the hilts of his lightsaber and shoto in his hands and the minute he entered the clearing they ignited and the young man came to a stop lifting his head high and holding his weapons up in a salute he called out loudly his voice crystal clear as now his goal was to attempt and through the Chai La off. "WELL WELL IF IT ISN'T THE CHAI LA FANCY SEEING YOU OUT OF PROTECTORATE SPACE! TELL ME BASABA IS ALLISON HERE AS WELL?!" Aedan smirked behind his helmet before he channeled the force into his body and boosted his speed. Unlike the Sith she was currently fighting Aedan was protected from the issue of the force breaker grenades and had full use of the force. As he darted forward the 50 squads of cragmoloids bear out of the treeline as well and opened fire with their weapons at the rest of the Chai La. Aedan laughed loudly as he moved from side to side evading most of the fire aimed at him and deflecting portions of it back at the Chai La.

His bones started to crack under the woman’s grip, whatever she was wearing was making her much stronger than he. He didn’t let her have the satisfaction of seeing him in pain so when she bore down her gaze he simply stared at her chest, absorbing the massive amounts of pain.

The voice calling back from behind the Sith sounded familiar, it was the same voice that called to him over his com, it seemed rescue had actually arrived. It was time to break away from the woman grasping him. He used some of what little energy in the Force he had left to give a hefty Force Push, hoping to get her to let go of him and give him his left hand back.

Mirshen was still on the ground and as he finished setting up a small mine field in the clearing he got the reports. Saw the explosions and spoke. "Alright lets go and help our friends. Send up some of those fancy things to proect our air and if my buddy is here well looks like we are getting some ivory tonight. Get some gunships into the air. We'll take it to them hard and fast then ride Aedan hard and put him away wet. Understand."

"No"

"Well it doesn't matter if you do or not we need air support and crags only respect one thing. Fine jokes." Mirshen started to walk off while the order went off and he rolled his shoulders. 36 Purudii fighters were deployed for one purpose to protect the Protectorate Inimicas while they delivered their payloads. His hands went over the guns while he walked checking them and he grabbed one of the boar guns releasing a breathe he was holding. From over head the sounds of fighters came.

Mirshen was chanting to himself while he came upon the river and took out a rifle. Nothing special, no ammo, no energy discharge just... one little light. He got into cover and laid there on the ground as the army of Crags appearing in his sight then he squeezed the trigger with a grin. All the while in his head he hummed a tune that would make sense as from the base several Kilometers off a small fleet of gunships and bombers prepared for something very special. Oh a big surprise and she kept humming. The small red dot painting the target.

Basaba let the push come, he had a broken bones and his leg which could help and as she flew back there was one final squeeze, something to try and snap the fingers as she corrected herself and stood there letting the sonic blaster enter her hand. Sorcha was quick to do as needed and Basaba heard someone. She turned her head only and looked from behind the mask at Aedan as he came charging with more troopers then they had yes but... Just he was charging and the tank opened fire sending mass driver rounds into the crags. It sent more shots, the commando's sent more ammo and above them a gunship came over the terrain

Basaba moved back towards a smaller ridge where the one had bee using the nutrient cage, where the sniper had been as they opened fire. She liked the idea of Aedan coming at her here as she felt it. Even though she didn't use the force, Aeron had explained it was in all living things even her. She felt the force disappear from her body a void as she opened fire with the sonic weapon again. Calibrated to humans and something wonderful against sabers. She didn't need to speak though beyond a few words in basic. "Who are you?"

@[member="Basaba Willamina"] @[member="Mirshen"] @[member="Darth Mortivious"]

Aedan Miles came to a stop and smirked darkly as he looked at Basaba and called out mockingly. "Thats right last you knew I was merely a fly boy I wonder what your thinking now that you see me here with these." He held his lightsaber and shoto up before he spun away from the sonic blast that she shoot at him. Glancing over as he saw one of his Crags fall his face darkening as he channeled the force into himself once more and then reached out searching for someone who he knew was here his face darkening even more as he sensed the faint presence that represented Mirshen. He shock his head as he ignored him waving his men forward as he called back to Darth Mortivious "GET YOUR ASS OUT OF HERE WE WILL FOLLOW YOU KNOW GO!" Aedan spun around and caught a shot fired by Mirshen on the glowing silver blade of his shoto before he charged towards Basaba his eyes gleaming darkly from behind his helmet. As he neared her he pushed outward with the force aiming to use one of his signature styles to propel her and anyone else back. He then waved his hand towards his men away. They started to slowly back away Aedan knew that his goal was accomplished hopefully they would fall for it and come after him.

As Verz thought about the monstrosity before him, in hologram form, and his challenge, the chaos of war erupted as strong as ever. One of his bridge officers called out, reporying incoming bombers from the Sith. As he prepared to call out orders to defend, a Protectorate fleet jumped into the system and obliterated the bombers. And a hologram of a little boy calling himself HK-36 appeared, telling Verz that the Protectorate fleet had arrived. And this ugly sonuvagun wanted to fight him in single combat. Great.

Verz was about to respond to HK, when that hologram winked out. Must've just been a simple 'We're here, dont worry' messages. He turned to the holo of Krag. "I hope you know, Sithspit, that I have faced Sith Masters in combat and survived. I've fought Moridin, Apparatus and Varanin. I've forced them to flee the battle, lest they perish under my hand. What match could you possibly be? I'll let you dock, but know this, if and when I best you, you die and your companion is taken prisoner. Got it?"

With that, Verz turned from the holo and continued giving commands. He had two Kom'rk ACs move to protect a BBC Carrier, which he then ordered to provide reinforcements to ground forces. The carrier obliged, moving with its escort to drop troops to the planet below. He also saw an explosion in the distance as a Sith frigate was destroyed or heavily damaged by his fleet.

And then he heard the comm transmission of @[member="Mia Monroe"] . He smiled under his helmet. "Long time no see, ner vod."

Mia smiled. "Far too long, Mand'alor. I'm heading for the surface, see if I can do something about getting the planetary shields we destroyed back up and running. Can you give an old Field Marshall a team?"

As she spoke the cloaked Veil began to move carefully round the battle towards the planets surface.

Groundside
#TEAMROFLSTOMP

Well there was simple flaw in HK's little plan, Marcus and his men had never touched the shadowy figure, so the trap shouldn't have sprung. But it did anyway, fantastic. As he was pushed away by Tyrin he and his men would be saved, then of course Shorn and Cavill showed up. Things had certainly escalated quickly, Marcus felt useless until he saw Moria's bombers."Down!" He barked, reaching out with the force and grabbing a fallen tree and lifting it up into the path of the bombers. Two would smash into it and explode before he dropped the log, distracted by the ground exploding around him. Marcus jumped to cover, and hoped for the best.

Kaine countered the counter-attack with a quick parry to keep her blade away from him while also backing away from Karen, only to reengage again with a series of lightning fast jabs and slashes. Djem So primarily focused on attack and immediate counter-attack, never letting the opponent have room to breath in the duel. What made Kaine's attacks even more deadly was the shape of the weapon in his hand, which was not the traditional lightsaber one may see a user of such an aggressive form wielding. It was instead of the curved-hilt design, one that would normally be seen in the hands of a Makashi master, but when the awkwardness of the curved hilt was combined with Djem So's aggressiveness it altered each strike just minimally. Just enough that if the defender made a simple mistake Kaine's blade could snake along theirs and break through their defense.

Light battled against the Dark, and this would be a true test of each side.

Olom frowned as he continued through the forest, watching as the firefights proceeded to fill the forest with flames undergrowth and old pine giving way to something else. He wondered if Darth Mortivious was alright, but he had a bigger fish to fry. Something, someone, was building up tremendous amounts of darkside energy, and it was calling to him. If the ritual was by an ally, he'd defend it. If not, he'd disrupt it.

He suddenly remmbmered while heading towards the caver to send an instruction to Horan and his team. "Regroup at the forward base being built by Aedan Miles. Help him secure a perimeter, Grihk out," he said calmly.

He smiled darkly as he sensed the energy swelling from the mouth of a cavern. He walked to the entrance. He had two thermal detonators, he hoped it was enough to make an impression on this ritual as he approahced the cavern's entrance.

"Need some help?"

A deep voice followed by a chuckle rang out from the shadows in the shuttle, somewhere in Krag's vicinity. Stepping out of the shadows was Sith Knight and Mandalorian, Nicholas DragonsFlame. Word had gotten out about the young man's real name just recently, something the Sith disliked considering he had wanted to keep himself quiet. But the secret was out, he was the son of a Jedi Master, his older sibling was on the Jedi Council, and saber combat seemed to run in the family. This fact put a lot of expectations on Nick in terms of his ability, who had taken time away, resided in the shadows for awhile to contemplate his heritage being revealed to the Sith...

But here he was, in the flesh. His little vacation had ended, and it couldn't come at a better time. Because who better to slay the mandalorians then a former member of their flock?

"Don't be alarmed" the man said, stepping toward Krag, his double bladed saber hanging from his belt as he let the hood fall from his head, his bright blue eyes glimmering in the light despite the evil that lie within. "Yes, I might have stowed away" the Sith admitted, a slight smirk crossing his face. "But who better to help you against the Mandalorians then someone who has lived their ways, fought their battles, sat in their flock and learned what they know?" He asked, chuckling a bit. "Regardless of these men being my former brothers in arms... I assure you, I have no problem with cutting them down"

Krag grinned in pleasure as the Mandalore accepted the challenge and agreed for him to dock. To be completely honest, Krag was not aware of the Mandalore's earlier exploits but the beast did not care much even after the sudden revelation. Krag was a brute, he lived by the sword and he would fight to the dying breath for it. Although Krag was slow and was skilled in only Djem'so, he had the advantage of his rarely seen force powers in fire and his cursed appearance to assist him. Though he had recently found out, the hard way, that he he could still very much be damaged by weapons that pierced his now ashy hide, he was still confident of his abilities. He also had the benefit of the Ultrachrome armor that he wore upon his body, it was crude and left his forearms, hands, head exposed but it was designed well to do what it was meant to and that was deflect. Still, Krag had his weaknesses and his armor surly had its own.

Only time and combat would tell if Krag could best the Mandolorian in Single Combat "Dock us immediately." Krag growled to Juthan, before looking back to the holding compartment of the shuttle and taking notice of a small explosives crate, wedged between the nearby bench and the wall. Without a word, Krag marched over to the crate, using a clawed hand to lift the lid and peer down into it. From top to bottom it was full of military grade explosives, no doubt left here in case a Stormtrooper squadron needed a little extra kick on a mission. It wasn't an astronomical amount by any means, but it would come in handy if Krag needed to make a large hole. In Graug society, killing your enemy was the only honor there truly was. There were many instances in Graug history that single combat had been invoked and two leaders clashed to see who was the strongest and just as one seemed ready to die, he would pull a dirty trick. Death was proof of ultimate weakness, but if you kill the enemy in your dying moments than it redeemed your honor. Krag did not intend on dying, not unless he was going to take many of the Mandos with him. With the explosive he had here, it was surly enough to cause a great deal of damage and havoc in whatever area they were placed in.

With a chilling smile, Krag pulled the detonator from the box and stuck it into a compartment in his armor. With the detonation device in place, he closed the box. No sooner had he done so then a slight tug in the force caught his attention and then the voice of @[member="Nicholas DragonsFlame"] made him spin. The Gruag wasn't surprised that he hadn't sensed the knights presence before, his most basic force powers were weakening with every passing day since the curse overtook him. The stronger he got in the ways of the fire, the weaker he seemed to get in all other aspects. "You are from one of their clan?" Krag snorted, more surprised than worried. He was a Graug and the Graug killed each other all the time so the fact that Nicholas wasn't afraid to do the same to his kind was actually quite logical to Krag

Nick smirked af Krag's response.

"I am" he said simply. "But that is a life long gone and behind me" he added. "Regardless of my ties, the Sith always comes first"

Regardless of his skills in illusions and being able to hide himself quite well, he was surprised that Krag had not found him until he had revealed himself. Something seemed... Odd about the Sith. But it didn't matter, at least not right now. Right now, slaughtering the Mandos was their top priority.

"It doesn't matter to me if they're Mandalorians or not.. Actually, I'm lying. I'm going to take joy in testing the mettle of my former brothers... BEFORE I end their lives of course" the Sith said, flashing a grin at that statement.

"Regardless... Care to brief me on what we're facing here?"

Other Space Kaiden

Krag snorted once again, crossing his massive arms over his bulky chest before replying, "It is simple, I have challenge the Mandalore to single combat. I plan on slaughtering him and bringing great honor to myself." Krag's good scanned his fellow knight as his thoughts collected themselves "I wish to kill him in single combat as I have challenged him, but his death will bring me great pleasure regardless." that much was true, he wanted to prove his strength against the mandalore and prove he was stronger, but part of him called for more logic "perhaps you will be useful though. The Mandalore is a lesser, but his people are respected as great warriors and perhaps even worthy opponents to the Graug. I enter this battle with a great expectation, he will be a worthy opponent and I plan on striking him down. He is sure to bring others with him and even if he does not, there are many mandalorians on the ship to slaughter."

Krag paused for a moment to make sure that @[member="Nicholas DragonsFlame"] understood his words, before continuing "There is a story on Gratos that before the cleansing wars, a leader of a mighty clan challenged another to single combat. The outcome of the duel would decide the fate of our planet forever and so the mighty leader took every step to insure victory. He captured the mother of the weaker clan's leader and during the battle, had her tortured to death on a hill overlooking the place where the duel happened. Her son was so distraught that he lost focus and was slain, a reminder to all worthy Graug to not grow so attached. Attachments lead to weakness." again a short pause and then the continuation "slaughter all of the Mandalore's men in the vicinity as we fight, be sure they scream with agony and terror...make them beg. When the time is right and if I feel it necessary...I will call upon you to help me strike him down...but not unless I give the order."
