Scratching Names Off The Naughty List [Sith Empire VS Mandalorians - Invasion of Yaga Minor]

MISSION: Capture the Shipyards (@Whoever the hell is in space)

"Ladies and gentlemen, the cavalry has arrived."

And indeed it had, the new and improved 69th Assault Fleet officially entering the area. The Tulak Hord-class Star Destroyer known as the Gorgon began launching its new retinue of Eightgun-class Assault Fighters, in coordination with Detritus-class Bombers, while the twin Ranators flanking it - The Vindicator and the Repulse - began to launch the first half of their own retinues: TIE Detonators and nothing but TIE Detonators. This first group had been equipped with high-yield neutron bombs, antipersonnel weaponry for use on Mandalorian starships and the station. The capital ships began preparations for the release of their prefab bases and ground forces as well - AT-TT Barges and Z-3 Aerial Attack Drones were already on their way to the surface, followed by the retinue of S90 MAATs. Encrypted links were established between the three vessels, making sure a pesky Mandalorian couldn't get any information out of Circe's next orders.

"Alright, here's the gameplan. We'll engage the heavier enemy craft. Fighter wings, destroy all Mandalorian fighters, bomber, and gunships you come across. Bombers, use your ion bombs on the bigger ships and disable their guns so the first wave of Detonators can do their job. Detonators, fly into any hangars or crevices you see in the stations or starships and activate your payloads. I doubt the Mandalorians made their ships neutron radiation-resistant, nor their armor, so we should only have to worry about droids when a boarding party is sent over. Vindicator, Dauntless, link up your prefab bases and deploy your gunships and landing barges. The prefab base station will serve as a staging area for our ships, and the gunships will bring our troops over to ships devoid or almost devoid of lifesigns. Understood? Good. Now let's roll out!"

The strength of his lightning fueled push was redirected by Kaine's own mastery of telekinesis, pushed away from his body and redirected behind him. Kaine laughed, but did not rise to Tracyn's bait. If he fought him 'like a man', he'd be at a serious disadvantage due to the Jedi's choice of armor and crushgaunts. He had dealt with both before in the previous war, and he found fighting such a foe up close and personal was unfavorable. Instead he continued to remain at a distance, and began his next assault. It began much like his last, charging up the outside of his barrier with lightning before he unleashed another massive bolt of lightning towards the Jedi Knight. He immediately followed that up, however; with a telekinetic attack aimed directly at Tracyn's throat, making a fist with his left hand as he attempted to crush his windpipe with the force. Sooner or later Tracyn will be forced onto the offensive and try to take the battle to him, to which Kaine would have another menagerie of attacks for the young Jedi.

Yaga Minor: Space-Yaga Minor Shipyards
There was something quite calming about the sound of ship alarms. As sirens blared all over the shipyards, what had started as a routine check-up had devolved into a full blown battle with the Sith. Walking briskly through the scrambling pilots and terrified workers, Gilamar's wrinkled face held its stern, harsh look. His helmet clattered against his thigh plates and his black cape flapped out behind him as two of his most trusted Crusaders bickered over a long-distance com. "You need to move faster! We knew they would be here hours ago!" The gruff, powerful voice of @[member="Sherruk Vhett"] came over the com. A grunt from the old man paused the trans-galactic bickering in a moment. "It doesn't matter now. Now I just need you to get here!" Taking his helmet now as he entered a docking tube, he slipped on the beskar bucket and entered the belly of the beast.

The BBC-105 Mythosaur-Class Super Carrier. The largest ship in the Mandalorian fleet sat just kilometers away from the biggest ship in the Sith Empire's fleet. However, equipped with technology meant for others, the ship, though smaller than the Mythosaur, was more heavily armed and held more fighters. It would was a force to be reckoned with, but if Gil knew ships, which he did, he knew that even the largest starships could be destroyed. Entering the bridge he nodded to Sherruk who sat still and at attention in the command seat of the mighty vessel. "I'm giving you command of the ship for this battle. Don't make me regret this decision." The words were not a threat, but they held weight that he could see in the eyes of the younger Mandalorian. A solemn nod came in reply. "I understand. The Shev is in the lower bay waiting for you." A grunt of approval came from the old man. "I wouldn't expect anything less. @[member="Aria Lissiri"] say when she would be here?" A rumble came from the heavy Mando's chest that Gil assumed was to be considered a chuckle. "She'll get here when she gets here."

Making his way through the ship he finally made it to his baby. Docked just beneath the Mythosaur filled to the brim with his crew. Nodding to the man sitting in his chair he clapped a hand on his shoulder. "You are relieved from duty go prep the Tra'galaar." and with that, he was off. "Alright men, we want to get in there fast and quiet understood? I want this ship activate and dark! Launch!" Power came to the stealth ship and the stygium based stealth devise was activated, cloaking the ship from various detection systems. Floating into the harshness of space, a smile inched its way across his face.

As the battle was raging a figure of a new combatant entered the horizon dressed in sith armor that she somehow "borrowed" from the sith academies and as she walked through the battlefield she walks calmly and with a menacing expression on her face, there were several combatants in the far distance and if she did not arrive her allies would surely fall but if she arrived too early she would not be able to engage properly.

Walking through the battlefield she used a force push on stray weapons fire as it came at her, it hit it's sender and sent them packing but as she stared into the scene she had one purpose, one goal... to take out the would-be aggressors attacking her comrade, once a padawan turned sith knight, this blond like Kayla is all sith. As she makes strides to the battle front she rips two cryoban off her belt and activates them and uses force imbued strength to lob them into the enemy lines, once activated and blown they will freeze at least 3 enemy units per grenade.

This worked well as they went off six enemy soldiers became frozen and she continued to walk into the battle, looking at the mandolorian she smirks and then takes her whip from her belt, the sith only entrusted her with one made for training but it was still dangerous, as he activated it she flicked it in her wrist against an advancing soldier and stunned him, the others stared in disbelief as the soldier got pelko barbs in his limbs and became numb, she smirked sadistically and jumped into the air did a twirl and flicked her wrist sending the whip into soldiers, she was not fooling around.

Yaga Minor Ground - By the River

As the smoke cleared, it was evident that the tank still was in one piece. The second tank fire blasted three more stormtroopers down. The surviving stormtroopers, however, fiercly continued the fight, continuing to keep uniformity and calm even as their comrades were shot down. They started shooting furiously at @Allison Willamina, whom had broken into the Imperial lines. The stormtroopers knew that their best chance for survival would be to maintain the group effort. One stormtrooper, with a grenade in hand, ran straight towards the giant Mandalorian, in an attempt to cause a suicidal explosion so as to injure and possibly kill the tall Mandalorian woman. Several stormtroopers also began lobbying grenades at the Mandalorian.

Meanwhile, Paega was plenty occupied as she fought against what appeared to be a high-tech droid. (@Moira Skaldi) Her lightsaber scored a cut in her opponent's leg, what had appeared to be flesh burning away to reveal metal underneath. Paega blinked as her opponent launched a counter-offense at incredible speed. It was all she could do to barely escape the droid's crushing grips as she dropped into a crouch, also seemingly One of the blasts from the bolt gun, however, hit Paega's shoulders as she was in the process of dropping into a crouch. The Sith Knight gasped in pain, and her unoccupied left hand immiediately went to her shoulder to feel blood oozing out. Paega also instinctively raised her right arm, her blade rising upwards in an attempt to slice her opponent's bolt gun neatly in half.

The Iceni was the next Imperial warship to end up on the scene, flanked by two other Tulak Hords the Grand Admiral of the Imperial Navy had never seen before. Unlike the Gorgon, their fighter complements were still standard as the ships began to launch, moving towards their Mandalorian counterparts.

"Full speed ahead. Move us towards and below their base defenses so we can focus maximum firepower on their shields, as well as keep ourselves covered if any pestiferous Mandalorian warships or fighters attempt to slip into our blind spots."

Chirodont strode slowly through the war zone, saber ignited and disabling the enemies about him. Using his natural skills with Shatterpoint, he located weak points of enemies armor, then simply used his lightning to cause damage. Damaged Beskar was only durable enough to take a small strike from a saber, thus a quick follow through would end another opponent.

Clad in his Durasteel armor, Chirodont was slower then usual but with the Force backing his movements he was able to move superiorly again.

Yaga Minor: Space-Yaga Minor Shipyards @space people

With confirmation that the Shev had launched Sherruk's fist slammed onto the armrest of his chair. "Launch!" he bellowed and the ship eased forward out of the massive dock in the shipyard. "As soon as we are clear of the Shipyard I want one all of the LAATs launched so we can get more boots on the ground. Gunships and fighters launched, launch the interceptors and keep them hanging back!" On this ship, his word was law, just like back on Concord Dawn. It gave him a feeling of importance and worth.

"Sir, we've got multiple SDs and fighters inbound." With a curse, he began barking orders at his men again. "Power up the ion cannons and ready the starship defense batteries!" If he could help it, he wouldn't engage with the larger ships. What he could do for now is just hope that @[member="Aria Lissiri"] arrived soon, or the Mythosaur would be toast.

@Circen Saven @[member="TD-30"] @[member="Gilamar Skirata"]

The arrival of Circen's fleet and TD-30's task force were a welcomed addition to the fray. The opposing forces had been fighting at a stalemate since Emperor Lussk had all ships pull back to a defensive perimeter. HK-36's space forces arrival had folded their hand but now was a new round. The Sith were packing Aces. Hawke made a hail to the Gorgon. "Well, well. Circen Savan and the Sixty Ninth. I'd wondered if you were going to put your pieces into the match today. Care to help us break out and get back on the offensive"? A wicked grin flashed as she knew the tides had turned yet again.

Location: Under base, burrowing up.
Objective: Hang a witch like any good pilgrim.

Olom glared as he sensed the powerful dark side magicks at work. He didn't have much time. He heard a report on the chatter "How the sithspit are the dead rising?" He frowned. Witchcraft, lovely. at least he could sense the power involved. He shuddered as he began charging deeper into the cave. The base was built to withstand a siege, but burrowing through the underside? Not a chance. He continued through the tunnels, charting against his own calculations. 57 Meters below the base. Loose soil until he hit the foundation at 5 meters below. Thank heavens for telekinesis. He ignited his light saber and focused, levitating the lit blade into the air. push, levitate, incinerate tunnel, push, levitate, incinerate. He focused on finding small natural caverns to speed his ascent. He could get this done in five minutes, the rate he was going. Thank goodness he didn't need more than a three-foot-wide hole.

He slowly climbed up, force-valor and telekinesis allowing him to snake up through the tunnel with surprising alacrity. He grinned. He could make some serious damage if he timed this right. He entered one last command, although it'd be sketchy to make out on the comm-links, the ground soaking portions of the signature. "Burn all corpses with signal flares and incendiaries. I'm going on a witch hunt!"

Yaga Minor Ground- River

@[member="Paega Anginous"] @[member="Kayla Zorg"] @Moira Skaldi

Allison moved, the troopers throwing grenades at her as she charged into the stormtroopers would throw into their own people as she tackled the man. The one coming after her for a suicide run she brought her hands up to send him into the air. Then it happened, explosions rocked the area, from above and below while she grabbed one of the troopers and let him act as a shield. The explosion rocked her back into the water while the armored shoulders pauldrons slipped off. Allison rose her teeth rattled, her body sore, it was like a concussion that had no visible trauma but her insides felt like jelly. She slipped the kama off with a crash as it splashed into the water.

Then she turned to look at Kayla she heard the sounds. Omega and Mando troops but Kayla had come from the direction no doubt of the forward base that meant she had thrown her first set of grenades... At stormtroopers to freeze them. The large mandalorian plunged the sword into the ground and eyed the whip, she eyed the tank as it got another shot off at what was there of the stormtroopers. Their grenade attacks buying enough time for it to reload and fire, the gunship opened fire on them as it approached dropping more soldiers, more commando's a smile came. The whip Kayla had, Allison's crushgaunts clenched once... then twice and three time grabbing the beskad at the hilt. She pulled it up letting her hand come out while a jair rifle was given and she fired a sonic shot.

The helmet filtered the force breaker gas so she didn't get the drug in large doses. The effects of it now would be on Paega, unless she didn't need to breathe in a fight and would be starting for Kayla. Those sabers required a little of the force to use expertly, to fight back and maintain themselves. Her rifle firing off a sonic round that couldn't be blocked by sabers. Then the energy shots that a whip didn't have the power to deflect back. One handed while her beskad stayed at her side and she stood there as a monolith. Let the girl come closer an she could catch the whip with her gauntlets. The microized beskar allowing for some surprises.

Yaga Minor ground - the River

Apparently another player had joined the game, tossing cryoban grenades into the fray. Not that Moira minded, as far as she was concerned it meant another organic to murder or process. Of course, strictly speaking she was still flying Protectorate, but all Sith must be processed. And one day...all organics...so that the Galaxy would run with the efficiency of a...clockwork. For starters killing Sith would suffice though. It pleased @[member="Cora Passek"] and would increase Moira's influence over her, and thus keep the cuddly terrorist out of unsuitable company!

The Mandalorian giant was dealing with the newcomer, Omegan soldiers kept up a volley against the stormtroopers, throwing in frag and incendiary grenades. So Moira was left to concentrate on the Sith Knight Paega who had been struck in the left shoulder by the buckshot round as she sought to drop into a crouch. As her left hand went to her shoulder, blood seeping out, the instinctive organic reaction, her right arm moved her lightsabre upwards in an attempt to shear the bolter in half. As this happened Moira had already been lining up for another shot, not giving the organic any reprieve, for such was inefficient and she was programmed for efficiency. Her boltgun was aimed at the head of Paega, her was finger was squeezing the trigger but virtually same moment the lightsabre surged at her, and though the buckshot round still shot out of the gun just a mili-second before it was cut in half the trajectory was altered and it was headed for the Sith's left shoulder, the shot being less precise.

One half of the boltgun clattered to the ground with a thud as it was cut in half, leaving Moira with a half thoroughly useless for shooting anyone. She still had her scatter gun and a hidden slugthrower, not to mention one could always grab a weapon from one of the dead. It was not like they would be needing it any time soon after all! An organic might have been driven into a rage, but Moira looked as calm as ever. The Sith was giving her a good fight and not letting pain stop her, and though Moira felt no exultation or joy, for such was burnt out of her, she appreciated it. Gripping the half of the boltgun she still held she brought it down upon the Sith's sword arm with brutal, vicious force in an attempt to crush her arm. In the same motion her free hand thrust forward in a tight fist aiming to slam into Paege's head so that if the strike hit home it might be smashed and popped like jellie.

@[member="Marcus Faust"] - Forest

Inimicas were heavily armoured craft. They had been designed to take a hard punch and dish out just as well, so it would take a bit more than one tree to hit them. While they had to dive down to unleash their payload of proton bombs, the altitude at which they flew was not inconsiderable. So when the Sith Knight unleashed his telekinetic prowess to grip the tree, something that would take effort, the two Inimicas targeted immediately opened fire as they pulled up, spitting out missiles and laser fire, testatement to the ridiculous amount of firepower an Inimica had. Struck the tree was blasted and caught fire, pieces raining down. However, the Sith's manoeuvre might have given the denizens of the forest more time, but the proton bombs were being dropped.

Kayla sensed the imminent danger as they threw it and flicked her finger sending the grenades the giant mandolorian threw at her away from her, she smirked as the grenades went the opposite direction than what they were thrown and waited for the moment to strike, she continued to glare at the giantess as she remained there and then at the last moment sprung into the air landed tweny feet away and behind the mandolorian, she was no fool and in case she didn't get all the grenades she would not be forced into unnecessary dangers... she would remain on reserve for now.

Some things, in retrospect, were a bad idea. The tree stunt was one. Thankfully unit cohesion was something Marcus had stressed in his training sessions with the guards, not that the situation at hand really required much in the form of cohesion. They needed to karking run. As one of the guards picked up the wounded soldier, Marcus nodded, and they bolted towards a safe zone amidst the forest which was literally coming apart around them. If there was one.

@Hawle Katamirth's response over the comm gave Circe reason to smile. After all, Bosch desired that the Detonators be tested. This was a perfect opportunity to test them out. "Indeed. But I'll let Bosch give the orders around here. We have more backup in transit, and just need to hold the fort down for a few more minutes."

Well, no one could say she failed to follow the military chain of command.

The three Tulak Hords meshed in formation with @[member="Circe Savan"]'s own Gorgon and Ranators. Bosch now had a small squadron at his disposal, and it was likely more reinforcements would be arriving soon.

"@[member="Hawke Katamirth"], I want you to order your fighters to guard the Detonators as they make their attack runs. Our fighters can escort your bombers, along with those from the Gorgon. Order your bombers to engage the facility's defenses and destroy whatever turrets you can. It'll make our attack run easier. Now's the time to charge and go ship-to-ship with the Mandos while our corvettes are still in transit."

If the Detonators could be protected, their neutron bombs would cause severe casualties to the Mandalorian personnel on board. If not... Well, that was what the antimatter charge-equipped second batch were for.

ORBAT:
Dzu'ari (1)
Tulak Hord-class Star Destroyers (2) - Judgement and Cutting Edge

The Sith fleets had arranged themselves in a defensive formation encircling the entirety of the Mandalorian shipyards, still held in their hands. The constant arrival of additional fleets and vessels boosted the Sith armada, handing them many opportunities to press forward and take on the enemy fleets surging out of hyperspace. The Emperor's fleet boasted the most in firepower, the pair of Tulak Hord's dishing out massive torrents of cannon fire as the Dzu'ari's fighter complements kept a gigantic fighter screen against any enemies who dared inch closer.

The tactical screen kept flickering with the continuous stream of new info. "Fighters, pull back further. Dzu'ari, Judgement, and Cutting Edge, I want a turbolaser battery sweep directly in front of us."

ORBAT:
1 x Pellaeon-class MKII Star Destroyer (Upgraded) - Harbinger
2 x Xo'Xaan-class Star Destroyers - Breaking Silence and Eternal
10 x Subjugator-class Assault Ships (Second Loadout) - Blaze, Shepherd, Blood Funnel, Vengeance, Bonegrinder, Crimson Sparks, Hell's Angel, Dragon's Mistress, Damnation, and Resolute

TD-30's fleet transitioned to its right, merging with the Emperor's fleet for boosted firepower and fighter screening. A total of 16 capital ships sat in this single area, thousands of fighters whipped back and forth in a screen that smashed any who opposed it. T'was an amazing ordeal designed by TD and his master, the Emperor. The tactical droid tromped back and forth, his claws clamped around the slight frame of a tactical datapad.

"Harbinger, Breaking Silence, and Eternal, begin firing into the enemy fleet. Subjugators, continue the outpour of fighters and begin sending down ground personnel." His datapad began flashing with updated orders, his captains immediately shifting their gears to suit their superior's whim. The Subjugators began dropping out 10 S90 MAATs each, each gunship filled with 30 stormtroopers ready for battle. TD-30 dragged a digit across the screen, giving the gunships a direct path to support the ground forces (@[member="Paega Anginous"]) with their assaults.

@[member="Moira Skaldi"]

Pain. The excruciating feeling intensified for Paega as seconds went by, her shoulders still oozing out blood. She watched as her lightsaber blow served its purpose and sliced her opponent's weapon into two pieces, but not before shots were fired again. Paega would've had her head blasted off if it hadn't been for the fact that the boltgun's trajectory was altered so that instead of hiting her face, it hit her left shoulder.

Getting hit once more, again on the shoulders, almost made the blonde Sith Knight wished that she had been shot in the face instead. At least she would've not felt anymore pain if that had been the case... probably. Her shoulders were now a bloody mess now, and it was rather painful to move around her shoulders too much. Paega opened her eyes after closing them from the pain to watch her opponent bring down what was left of the sliced boltgun viciously down on her. Paega immiediately extended her arms so that instead of hitting her, the droid's arms would be sliced off by her lightsaber blade instead.

Paega also managed to narrowly avoid having her face crushed into pieces, moving her head to the side a bit to avoid getting punched by her droid opponent's mechanical and predictably very powerful punch. As soon as she avoided getting punched, Paega fought back immiediately. Utilizing the Force, Paega began delivering rapid punches aimed at her opponent's face. Although hitting the droid with bare hands would prove to be a bit painful, to Paega, her wounds on her shoulders were so excruciatingly painful, any pain delivered to her hands would not be able to intesify the pain any further.

It was then that reinforcements finally fething arrived. ( @[member="TD-30"] ) About 10 S90 MAATs appeared in the horizon, and quickly began dropping off about thirty stormtroopers at a time, and soon the Imperial forces had begun to beleaguer the Mandalorian and Omegan forces.

Wrath of Sev3n - Yagai City
While it seemed a far more meat-headed approach - the behemoth smashing it's way into a building to let the rubble collapse and hide him was sound strategy. Several Mandalorians went flying as the brute barreled deep into the building and let it start to sink around him like a pseudo permacrete armor. The vode were not so easily thrown around though. Several of the armor clad warriors jettisoned their position when the brute approached and launched into the sky on their respective jetpacks. Four of the vode circled the wreckage and tossed thermal detonators into the rubble. They were too small to be thrown or picked up by the large maw of the creature hunkering into the debris, and would soon explode in various places, most likely doing some surface damage to the exposed skin of the creature. The crashing mace of the beast though certainly drove several Mandalorians down and back from the epicenter of the action, but the bikers were circling back to make another attempt.

Receiving a communication that another of the Protectorate had joined their attempt at quelling this fearsome giant, Azrael opened a party link with Isis Fontana. The beasts musings had gave him some time to think of a plan of action that would allow him some leverage in this very one-sided battle. Shifting paths through the city streets, aiming to corrale most of the Yagai away from the city limits, and circle back around. The ground forces were using slug-throwers now, and their M.20 rail guns to unleash a volley of destruction into the hiding hole of the wrecking ball of a giant.

"Fontana, glad you can join us. I've got something in the works. Be ready to run." Azrael said on the newly opened party line to include the lady Isis who had started to enter the city limits. He switched gears on his bike and started up a ramp that led to a highway system that circled nearby the building that Sev3n had slammed into. Avoiding potholes, and the various debris damage, he ramped up the speed and headed for the rear. "Keep 'em busy vode. Surround the area and drop mines, don't let him exit without taking a beating." Azrael said as he circled around the onramp and onto the thruway. Three more bikes of like make and model jumped onto the ramp seconds after and moved in formation to circle around.

The ground crew got to work moving in and laying out proximity mines on the ground to surround the building, hiding them under rubble and keeping out of sight. The Mandalorians were warriors, but they were also smart enough to understand going toe to toe with a bellowing giant with a massive mace was a fool's errand. It was a good day to die, for someone else. The thermal detonators went off in tandam, attempting to rouse the creature from it's seclusion and back out into the open. They wanted it much more in direct line of sight so they could continue their attack while they worked on a plan to put down this threat. Sev3n wasn't the only concern in these parts, but he was certainly concern enough to focus on.
