War as a business to end war as a business
http://starwarsrp.net/topic/108499-mephirium-class-battlecruiser/

After sitting there for 3 days and nothing happening to it, (I heard the judge was really busy and could not get to my submission), tef came in and denied it without much of a reason given, id like to run through it with a factory judge and work to get it fully approved, id be willing to make any changed necessary to get to that point.

Update: When asked in general it was due to the gun math that i overshot accidentally, i fixed the math in a google doc and its ready to fix.

I see it is currently denied. Are you second chancing this?

Requesting a second chance for the sub, but I kind of wish the original FJ had given me a chance to work them to fix issues before denying it without even given me time to respond. One of the reasons that the sub was denied because the Judge claimed there was no example of any technology being used to manipulate mass, but there are canonical references including devices like a density projector, and there have been subs previously approved incorporating this device. Aside from that, I can edit the sub to address any other issues.

Could I get this pulled out and given a second look.

AE-HD3 Wraith Jump Pack

There is plenty of canon backing to people surviving in space, even space combat, as well as Hyperspace (Its survivable but without Stasis Fields or a Hyperdrive you get stuck there according to Tyrant's Test). In SW G-Forces and the radiation of Hyperspace can be completely mitigated as well as shields/fields projected around them which make them safe for travel. There are canon examples of extremely small things with Hyperdrives and reuseable ones and fighters that lack Life Support capable of safe Hyperspace Travel because of these fields. It is not unreasonable for these to be projected with or without a thin pane of glass.

While reasonable to expect an EVA capable suit in order to make it "safe", the theory works in the Star Wars universe.

I would like to request a second chance for the submission Marabe. The reasoning for this is because it is not an AI. In one of the sources, it talks about how an AI Accelerator is used for machine learning purposes, which is a subset of artificial intelligence. Furthermore, deep learning is also a subset of machine learning, so I'm not sure as to why it is believed I am making an AI when an AI is much more advanced. TensorFlow uses an AI Accelerator, but it is not an AI, nor is it an Narrow AI, yet it uses an AI Accelerator, further evincing the fact that programs which are not AIs use an AI Accelerator. I also wanted to add that I'm not trying to make an AI(including a narrow AI). That was something I intended to remeove

It took me a bit of pondering to consider this. However, the thought of hyperspace capable jumppacks for pc's is just a bit too out there for me to quantify at its current incarnation.

I can imagine a pack to allow survival of an individual in an emergency to pop them back into real space if persay, a crash in hyperspace or emergency required abandoning ship. Maybe a small pack can provide a short, and i mean, very short window for a one shot opportunity at being able to leave hyperspace and revert to real space so you can float around in the black with an emergency beacon on.

But anything that allows one to be able to navigate hyperspace jumping on a pack wouldn't be able to pass for approval.

If you want something akin to an emergency situation, second chance approved.

In its current state, then it will only be denied. Please tag me with your decision.

While you are correct that it is a Narrow AI, your submission contradicts that by saying that it has the ability to self learn and do complex tasks.

Artificial intelligence was the term for intelligence in a manufactured rather than evolved or genetically engineered being. Degrees of sophistication ran from simple computer programs to artificial sentience.

Weak artificial intelligence (weak AI), also known as narrow AI,[1][2][3] is non-sentient artificial intelligence that is focused on one narrow task. Weak AI is defined in contrast to either strong AI (a machine with consciousness, sentience and mind) or artificial general intelligence (a machine with the ability to apply intelligence to any problem, rather than just one specific problem). All currently existing systems considered artificial intelligence of any sort are weak AI at most.
  • The software program Marabe uses deep learning technologies to be able learn from its opponent. Various situations have already been programmed to Marabe including attacks via hostile forces in land-based, and ship-based environments to allow it to be fully prepared when operational.
  • What makes this unique compared to other security systems is its ability to ‘split’ itself apart, allowing it to have a devolved system, making it much more versatile in its usage in various situations.

Upon review, it isn't even the AI accelerator that I would quantify this as an AI, but it's abilities by itself. You have a program that is able to self learn, to split itself apart and make itself more versatile.

So you can have your second chance to submit this submission again, but make no doubt, it will still require an AI Restricted Materials mission unless you severely tone down its capabilties.

tag me with your decision.

Second chance approved -- but I would also mirror the original judge's remarks on suggesting that this be more of an atmospheric ship. I do not see this working in space.

I'll move it to prefactory so you can edit.
