Sekalien Supernova (ORC T2 Dominion of Ancora & Torrential )

Bryce sucked on his finger now that test was over, he then remember he was a kraking force healer and with a few seconds to concentration closed the minor scratch.

"Oh biometric scanner, cool, thought you were getting us back for the "testing" on Exocron. But still I gotta ask what is up with all the cloak and dagger, military grade testing. Shouldn't we be out out helping folks get on transports and trying to curb looting panic and the like?"

Bryce knew the other shoe was bound to drip for now he tired to keep the mood light with a little gallows humor.

"Nah, Bryce, I think she's got a point doing it this way." Jorus rubbed thumb and forefinger together to drown the sting. "Number one problem for an evac is knowing where everyone is - making sure you've got everyone, and what evac sites and mechanisms are closest. We get tied into the planetary command-and-control network, we've got a way better shot of pulling off a thorough, efficient evac."

He raised an eyebrow as Sanya came back into the room. "That what this is for? Or is this tied up with recovering your Libita ship?"

Once already he had to disrupt an argument, nearly getting a knife in the ribs for doing a job, frankly; he didn't have to. There was that constant nagging, the voice always contradicting his actions. Return to your home, forget the weaker or the unfit. You have potential, power, untapped strength.

Just come home.

The urge to leave was tremendous, so powerful that at one point, his feet slowly started to move on their own accord, pulling him away from his post. It appeared the dark planet and its unnatural connection did not have the time to wait for the man to make up his own mind. He had no control over anything, not his mind, his body: nothing. Even one singular thought would be seen as success to the man, straining to from one coherent command, willing his body to listen.

Stop.

Sanya stopped pacing and turned to jorus. "It's both those reasons. The ship is connected to the ring. Means we can direct the efforts to places that need it the most. In order for everyone to in this room to access the systems I needed to add you to it. The most secure way to protect things you don't want others to get." Her attention turned to Bryce with the same look she had been carrying all this time. "Also revenge isn't my style. Just accept things and move on. Everything happens for a reason and will correct it's self in time." Sanya got hold of her data pad and brought up the coordinates for the facility the ship was been held in.

She levitated the data pad to the coffee table in front of both Bryce and jorus. "Copy that down. It's the next location." With a small hand gesture the guard fell in following sanya to the elevator. "I'll meet everyone there. Can someone make sure to bring that data pad with them?" She asked openly. "Maria with me." "Yes lady Swift." The elevator doors would slide open then sanya maria and her gurards would all get inside. It went all the way down to the private hanger. There was only her gunship inside meaning Asuna was using the other.

Maria would go ahead of them. It may be a droid but it did know sanya was in no state to be behind the controls of a ship. Instead she'd go to the copilots seat while her guards took seats in the back of the gunship. Checks we're routine and fast since she knew where everything was by memory. It was a moment where she wasn't thinking what lied beyond till it took off and exited the hanger. Finally she wasn't around strangers, finally she could let loose and cry as they began to make their way to the libita's storage facility.

Jorus' snubfighter lifted off from the tower roof and gained altitude to soar above the city. Evacuation shuttles and larger transports ascended and descended like sheets of gleaming rain. He coordinated with orbital control and charted a safe course through crowded airspace. Normally he'd have done that by instinct, but this world was strong in the Dark Side. It had been so even before the planet filled up with fear.

He kept scanning ahead, and paying attention to his instincts, and asking Silk pilots for overwatch. Soon enough he'd come to Sanya's hidden command ship and see what he could see.

Bryce left the flying to the pilots of his shuttle, it was slow going. The air space around and above Sekalus was littered with ship of all sizes and shaped desperately trying to get as many folks as possible. Just about every make and model you could have imagined was flying around and the sight made the lines of planets like Corosant look puny in comparison.

Tapping the data pad Sanya had asked one of them to bring against his free hand, Bryce wonders that the end game was that Queen Sanya had in mind.

"We need a break: an exhausted crew is not going to do the Croa any good, nor us, and especially because of its effects on us"

"Roger, roger"

The Croa were done deboarding the Famfrit in just an hour, panicked as they were, probably within reason. For some of the crewmembers, going on their second run, the return flight was a welcome break, if brief: they got to eat, and they know the hard part will be to load and unload the Croa except for the bridge crew, like Dunames, who was at the controls of the ship. The remaining numbers of Croa and other residents are staggering: there were still a few billion Croa present down below. That was going to be a long day, she thought, while not requiring a reminder of the urgency of the situation. Caf, oh caf, where was it when the crew needed it? But the caf being in a finite supply, they had to be mindful of not drinking too much in one go. One cup of caf would normally last for four to five hours, so any caf they drink now, will be effective for the next two runs or so.

"Docking ports are clear of the ship, boss"

"Time to return to the surface! Drink any caf you can, but not too much"

TORRENTIAL SYSTEM

All too often, Captain Skala found it necessary to take evasive action. Comets, asteroid fields, and lesser fragments choked this system. The Varactyl, a Trandoshan transport, had tough shields but not enough to take a serious impact. The last six hours had been the most dangerous of its operational life, and considering the Trandoshan crew had spent two decades in the Rishi Maze, that was saying something.

On the plus side, Croa evacuation transports didn't handle asteroids any better, especially when someone was shooting at them.

For the moment, the shooting was over. Trandoshan raiders had stripped a stray freighter of everything valuable, its passengers included. They'd have found a use for the ship too, if not for the rogue cometary fragment that forced them to detach and arc away. Skala hissed in irritation as the freighter vanished in a ball of fire.

Eventually the Coalition would catch on and catch up. In the meantime, though, there was still plenty to be gained here in the middle of nowhere.

With the Croa needing a new home all hands were out helping. So Loto this had meant doing what he did best, exploring. It was during his mission of discovery that he had received a distress call and had diverted to review. The system itself was a navigational nightmare. One had do be on constant guard and Loto thanked the spirits that with his ship being upgraded he had been offered this Torrent-class heavy fighter. With amazing maneuverability and weapons designed for this region of space he was making surprising good progress toward the only ship in the system.

As Loto approached he was picking up he wreckage of ill fated Croa ship and so opened a channel to the Trandoshan transport.

"Unknown vessel, please identify yourself."

Captain Skala took a harsh breath, hissing in startled excitement, and pondered their options. The Varactyl's sensors weren't the best around, but good enough to indicate that the approaching ship was weird as feth. Two odd turrets, small weak engines, serious shielding on par with theirs.

Skala touched the comm panel with one claw. "Thiss iss the independent freighter Varactyl. We took on ssurvivorss from a crippled sship and need esscort to ssafety."

Back down again into the chaos, this time she had gotten word of looting going on in a town...she got in the drop ship as she looked to the men as she gave a sigh and nodded to the crate of co-ri shields

gonna have some shields this time, stun only on your weapons only use them if things get violent I can't reiterate enough how much we are only there to stop looting

Her men nodded as she pulled a shield out as she hedged it and let it hit the ground as she called up to take off. The drop ship and two others moved out, 16 people spread out on three to cover full areas, they quickly got down seeing fire and people moving quickly around. She nodded back as the drop ships hit the ground as they moved out and started up the street as stardust called out

CEASE ALL LOOTING AND VANDALISM AND GET IN TO GROUPS TO BE TAKEN OFF PLANET, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN BEING STUNNED

A few of them stopped, they moved away into group where her people had set up behind the line of shields, however a few called out and threw rocks that pinged the shields, stardust gave the order and in a line marching they moved forward closer to the crowd that started to move slowly back some now seeing they were serious and broke off again to the group's

Today was gonna be long

During the short period of time they took to eat the meals they needed to eat, the ship entered atmosphere. With the repulsorlift cradle strapped at the top of the ship, the Famfrit was able to land: that was a godsend, especially if one needed to do exfiltration of millions of Croa and other residents at once. While, of course, there are those unfortunate few that were apparently victims of looting, as per the warnings from the other exfil crews sent for the operation, these were luckily not affecting the region where Dunames landed the ship that much. Oh, they were all to familiar with the chaos of a mass evacuation, and this scene was to occur once again: panic would clearly ensue once the boarding hatches open. But this time around, they will come prepared with security armed with stun weapons so that, if unruly evacuees arise, they can be swiftly dealt with. These guys have little patience and, within 30 seconds of making landfall, they were overwhelmed by the sheer number of Croa attempting to board the ship at once, but Dunames couldn't blame them: their survival depended on it.

Her ship sped through the city avoiding the hot landing zones. There was little to no speeders left in the sky. It just made the travel so much faster. It still took time to get over the grasslands where the ship laid in wait. The large metallic structure had been built around the vessel with camouflaging pannales above. The vessel it's self was partially lowered in the ground sitting in a massive metal platform stretching far. Harmless smoke would creep from under as preparations we're been made by engineers and the small amount of crew that could be spared.

Throughout the journey she had a long cry and collected herself. Still a sick feeling sat in her gut as she thought about how many wouldn't be found or how many would refuse to go. Even thinking about what's next for her and her people. The gunship landed in the almost empty hanger of the ship. She remained sat for a moment until the droid looked at her. "Your orders mrs swift." "Get to the bridge. Ensure checks have been made. The ship hasn't flown for some time." Sanya raised to her feet and walked through to the back. "You lot I need you to make your way to the entrances ensure people get in safely." She continued onwards down the ramp to now wait for the other two.

Jorus landed his snubfighter beside the Libita and tossed the keys to a Croa. "Ship's yours," he said. "Looks like I've got a ride already."

There was no point in taking up valuable hangar space, after all. The Libita, like every other ship in the system, would need to fill up. He took a moment to appreciate the ultrachrome hull and the ambitious design, then headed inside. Biometrics got him through security. In short order he'd rejoined Sanya.

"Nice ship," he said by way of greeting. "What's next?"

....And I know I was wrong, when I said it was true, that it couldn't be me and be her in between without you.....

Music blasted through her ears as she hiked amongst the towering trees. Pack weighed heavy on her back, reminding her of the supplies loaded down on this little jaunt. Delila had volunteered herself to be part of search and rescue, part of a group combing through the expansive forests to check on small villages and various hermits and exiles.

It was a good task for her, considering her decade long exile on a jungle planet. She could relate to those who were out in the middle of nowhere, who probably hadn't seen another sentient in years. Her exile wasn't one she sought out, rather a result of an accident coupled with some personal issues. It didn't mean someone in the forest wasn't in a similar position.

Foolish grin touched her features. Delila had vowed never to hike again, yet here she was. The silence, solitude felt more like home than ever. Like it or not, the last decade had molded her into something slightly different. What that something was, she was still trying to figure out.

Bryce's shuttle touched down shortly after [member="Jorus Merrill"] 's. He was already in the shuttles cargo hanger when the ship's landing struts touched down. Not waiting for the ramp to fully lower he jumped out of the opening with a flipping motion before landing on his feet below his transport. With a simple hand wave he sent his ship away. Their were far to many more innocents that would need it more so he sent it collect all it could.

The soldiers that guarded the ship looked on him with suspicion but he was here as a guest of her highness [member="Sanya Val Swift"] and so feared no action they may take. Instead he held out his hand to the scanners and walk through the doors away from and landing bay so to where he had been summoned.

"Tell her highness the Ginger is here."

This run was made worse by the public rally points being crowded with transportation coming in, with evacuation being progressing mostly without much trouble, or at least as far as getting the population to the assigned rally points is concerned; the boarding will always prove more chaotic once it begins, when compared to the. That particular rally point was not any more or less crowded than usual; then again those rally points were designed for ships like the Famfrit, of which there were dozens in orbit. Each region had its own rally point, and Dunames had a map of those rally points displayed at all times on the bridge's tactical display until this operation ends. As expected, the Croa entered the flying city by the thousands, essentially bottlenecked by the width of the gangways: the sheer pressure of such a volume of Croa evacuees can even make itself felt in the bridge, where some wanted a piece of the place.

"Ouch: that didn't help!" Dunames shouted while several Croa ganged up on her.

"There are, like, 30 Croa on the bridge, boss" Merrily commented.

"Close the bridge's doors: it's not safe to let more Croa in there"

Well worn boots crunched through the underbrush on her path to hunt out stragglers. Music had been turned down so she could hear her surroundings, although visually she didn't see much beyond the small worn footpath she was currently on. Heavy pack shifted once more, Delila moving her hands to pull the load a little higher on her back.

Earbuds came out of her ears roughly a kilometer down the footpath, spotting a home and several outbuildings. Footsteps slowed, unsure if the home was occupied. Blue-green eyes searched for smoke or lights, finding none. Residents could be in a basement, or perhaps an outbuilding working. Ears strained to hear anything but she was coming up empty.

Hand came to rest casually near her thigh holster, just in case. Footsteps slowed as she approached, growing cautious in her movements. Getting shot at wasn't exactly high on her agenda.

She walked through the ship making her way to the most direct route to the bridge. It wasn't much longer till jon had caught up to her. Then again she was almost dragging her feet in a slow walk. There was a sickening feeling in her gut that hadn't left. It wasn't guilt or she was thinking of doing something wrong. No it was from grief. Everything Sanya had helped build on this world would be gone in moments the second the sun goes black. "Huh? Ohh yeah she is. It's a shame she's been grounded for so long."

A call came through as she continued to walk but now with Jon. "Milady. I've been told to tell you ginger is here. Do you know this man." "No I don't kn... Wait sorry yeah let Mr Bantam up make sure someone escorts him to the right turbolift." "Yes milady." She'd lower her wrist where the communicator was attached into the arm of the armor. "What my improvised plan is anyway is we get this ship up and take it to a heavy civilian area. The hangers can be used for those coming from further distances. Although I need to ensure at least six hundred civilians with working in a large vessel get fast tracked. The more people we take on the more hands we need to run this ship."

The door would open with a hiss. The woman would step inside then face a panel. Once she pressed the button for the bridge an automated voice would ask for identification. Her palm pressed against the small screen as a blue light moved up and down before it turned the whole screen a dark green. "I don't take pleasure in fast tracking. To me it feels like I'm discriminating against my people but I have to think about safety first.

Jon may I ask you something? I'm curious as to why you beloved me to be the creator of the croa virus? I mean yea I understand I am a fixed point but the croa was around before I knew about it. Around the time of the disappearance of billions inuding myself. It's why I refuse to have nulifcation tech on me. Draws out that fear and anexity of when I was there. But yeah my wife was actually the first croa. I was still a Jedi Knight at the time always patrolling the borders of republic space and the sith. Really lonely to be fair, had weeks and months on end without speaking to another person. Then when I saw she had been captured and been held hostage by prealior on taris, I tried to rescue her. My emotions got in the way because I admired this woman so much that I was desperate to save her. Instead it led to me been captured."

The door would close them both in the turbolift as it shot them up at high speeds. The internal compensatiors stopped them from been crushed by the g-force. Although they would still feel it as it was dialed back ever so slightly. As they reached to top the door would open up to give them a view straight down the command bridge. It was long and made use of the colours white and red with a black shiny floor. A few people where inside sat in the small pits at their terminals. They'd most likely be monitoring communications and help direct the military efforts.

"Well Jon pick any of the seats that's not in a pit. I'll edit your privlages." Maria walked out of Sanya's quarters probably putting the few possessions she wanted to hold onto. "Checks have been complete miss swift." "Good. We are just waiting on Bryce now." She sat into the command chair bringing up both Jon's and Bryce's bio files. Tapping away at the small screen she altered their rolls and access. "Jon you should be able to use the terminal now. Take a moment to look through the controls."

[member="Sanya Val Swift"]

"Far as I can recall, I never believed you were the one that made the virus. I'm positive that was Praelior - everything lines up that way. What set me against you was being sure that you'd brought the virus here recklessly, and spread it by friendliness on Demonsgate at the exact same time Praelior was spreading it by force. That alliance never sat well with me."

He took the offered seat and let the biometrics do their thing. Control panels lit up before him.

"The more I dug into the actual evidence, though, the more I realized I couldn't prove most of what I'd believed about you." His fingers danced over the console. "Then I started asking myself why I believed it at all, and I'm pretty sure it came down to prejudice of some kind, maybe about what you look like, maybe about who your friends were. I think if you asked just about anyone who knows me, they'd say that was unlike me. Once I realized that...well, when the judges ruled guilty on some and not guilty on most, I figured that was pretty much fair. Now you've paid your dues for what you provably did, been found innocent of the rest, and that's the end of the matter."

He finished calibrating and assessing the console's capabilities. The chair rotated so he could look up at her.

"I'm sorry."
