Shimmy shimmy cocoa pop!

That made Kaile chuckle, which promptly made her wince. Yeah, she could feel that egg on her head pulse alright. Bobo gave another nuzzle, and Kaile answered it with another stroke.

“I don’t mind tryin’ new things. Ain’t a better way to find out if’n you’ll enjoy it or not. I tend to try things twice. Bahrain has massive food market in the bazaar… food stalls everywhere.” you could tell that Kaile really enjoyed this Bahrain place. The desert world was a blend of Tatooine and Rishi if she could meld them both together.

A pause, then a glance down to her shirt. After a second she shot back Jamie a sheepish grin, “Think you can help me out to the refresher. I’ll clean up some under the sonic and then… well we can try some new tricks if you like.” or rest a bit. It had been a rather eventful day already.

"You try things twice? Not sure if you believe yourself the first time? Or are you worried that perhaps luck of the draw played some role in whether it was actually truly good or bad?" Jamie laughed at the thought. It was rather sound logic, even if it sounded sort of silly in practice. Jamie hadn't thought of a time where she disliked something but later had second thoughts on retrying the same dish. That would feel more like self punishment than anything else.

"Oh, sure! I can help you over. Are you sure you want to though? I'm not sure if that's going to make it better or worse." Jamie wasn't exactly certain the extent of the injury, or what underlying factors were lingering around after the incident. "But I would venture to say we should maybe hold off on any more teaching until we get planetside. You're better off taking it easy and resting I think."

"Well you ain't gonna be sure if it was prepared right the first time!" Kalie would joke, chuckling at the younger blonde woman. There was a small gesture of her hands as the Lorrdian spoke. It was a common trait for her kind; every subtle movement and nuance relayed a deeper state of emotion for a complete package of true intent and thoughts.

It was one of the reason why any Lorrdian in public office always wore such thick robes, for any movement could relay more than what they would ever intend. For Kaile, she just became more animated. It was clear she displayed more of her emotions and enthusiasm through the rise and fall of her hands, the flutter of fingers and a very expressive visage.

"I'm sure... reckon best to get cleaned up 'fore we reach Sullust," a pause, then a nod of her head in knowing. Mirth would dance in her eyes again. "Although havin' a Jedi play nurse ain't too bad of a thought if they see me all bloody." A wink shot over to Jamie's direction.

"I reckon I can get a hunk or two to check me out proper."

"For most of my life I was surrounded by master chefs back home. I rarely ever found something prepared incorrectly. If it was, generally it was because it was simply something I didn't like to begin with." Jamie smiled, offering Kaile a wink. Her life had been different from most people that she'd met away from Naboo. It seemed a rare thing that a person was born into and lived within a near endless wealth and fine living. "Out here in the wilds of space though, I suppose it's always a gamble. It's an odd adjustment for me. Everything had always been so by the books that so much of the galaxy I took for granted. It's a really big change."

Jamie's face flushed with red hearing Kaile's deviant idea. There was a long pause, followed by an almost comical expression of uncertainty as to whether or not Kaile was actually joking about the idea of convincing a Jedi to check her out or not. "I...." Her lips folded inwards towards one another. "Um." Blue eyes danced from left to right. "Okay, let's get you a sonic and see how you're feeling after. I have some clothes on board I can lend to you if you need."

It was the comical display of subtle nuances of confusion, uncertainty, and downright questionable wonder over Jamie's face that promoted Kaile to give a chuckle. Kaile had to remember what she knew of the Nabooian, she gathered enough already that she was pretty sheltered. Jamie came from upper class from what she could gather. Very rich. Very shiny.

She probably never really had a chance to experience much out of Naboo. Reckon that the younger blonde never really did much of anything besides do whatever her family had her do. Whatever a fine lady does, she guessed. Must be nice though, considering all the stories of fresh fruit and such fancy things. There was a part of Kaile that was a bit jealous of Jamie and what she had. But it was the sort of jealousy founded on the circumstance that Kaile had no family she was raised with.

Her only family right now was Bobo and Kurt.

"Okay," she held out her hand. Kaile wasn't shy about getting help when she needed it. She wasn't up for trying to have a stiff upper lip if she knew good and well she required it. The younger blonde would help the Lorrdian to her feet. Bobo would scatter off to perch upon Kaile's backpack. He would remain there for the present time.

"Alright Bobo... be right back." a flash of a smile and then a wink over at Jamie. "Okay... best get cleaned up. The sonic should clean up my shirt so aint' no trouble"

Jamie gave a nod, carefully leading Kaile on down the corridor to the wash room. There would hopefully be no more bumps along the way so Bobo would find someplace to rest easy until she had finished her business. "I'll check how we're looking on the flight deck while you're cleaning up. I don't think we've got much longer to go."

Around another corner and through a hatchway. "There's a PA in the room in case you need it, or if I have to tell you to hang on to something I'll try and give you a bit more time this time." She smirked, giving a nudge of the elbow to Kaile.

The blonde tapped on the entryway release for the wash room and held out a hand to lead Kaile in.

"Take your time."

An expression of gratitude shone in the smile that Kaile gave Jamie. A tiny scrunch and wiggle of her nose and a half sigh escaped her lips as she past the threshold with the younger blonde’s help. It was a larger refreshre than the sort she was used to. That was due to it being a J-Type.

“Shiny,” she complimented the higher quality in luxury. Yeah, she thought to herself, even the refresher could fit three people comfortably!.

Wait.. was that a water shower? Her eyes grew wide and a small ‘o’ formed over her mouth. Ooo that was tempting. Very tempting -- no wait, she had a lump on her head and water was apt to likely ruin the work Jamie had suffered through. Kaile hadn’t missed the pallor over the younger woman’s visage as she plucked up the courage and intestinal fortitude to help Kaile when she needed it.

“Thank you Jamie,” the Lorrdian’s soft voice would float over to the blonde. It was warm, genuine, and filled with gratitude.

“I’ll holler if I slip and break my hip,” a half joke, the woman ploping herself down on a nearby bench. First the shoes would come off.

“I just might take a nap after all of this.” by then, they’d surely reach Sullust. From there, the Jedi Temple.

The younger girl was so accustomed to being surrounded by things of flashy wealth that she hadn't quite thought twice about the luxuries the Skiff provided. To her it was simply reminiscent of home, at least in that starship variety. Youthful ignorance perhaps, that what she was so entirely used to and took for granted was what ninety-five percent of the galaxy was in constant search for.

"Please, don't do that." She replied, nearly begging the girl. "We've had more than enough excitement for one trip I think. If I bring you to the Jedi with any more bumps or bruises they'll think I was torturing you or something!" Jamie giggled a moment. "I wouldn't fare well under interrogation."

Giving the older girl a small nod she headed towards the exit to leave Kaile. "Feel free to rest on one of the beds if you like. They're a lot more comfortable than the couch. I'll let you know when we arrive."

Thump! Off went one boot.

Thump-thump! Then the next.

Kaile shot a tousled grin at Jamie, amused at the quip about how the Jedi might believe she’d been tortured. “Well, somethin’ tells me that you’d do right fine under any sort of investigation.” strong-will as she was. All jokes aside, it was evident that the younger blonde had a wealth of willpower to her name. Why else would she leave all she knew to search for the Jedi just so that she could be able to help folk in a manner that was more hands on than simply looking pretty in a manner.

“Will do,” Kaileann told her, chuckling as tired arms took the hem of her shirt and began to pull off the blood splattered fabric.

“Feel free to hang out with Bobo,” she told her, tossing her a half smile. “He likes hangin’ about.” Up to her feet she went, not caring about her progressive state of undress in front of Pyne. Wasn’t like neither didn’t have the same parts and all

Jamie gave a nod, though she likely would leave Bobo to his own devices while she went about checking over their course and landing the ship. She liked the little fella and all, but the nausea was something she wanted to avoid for the remained of their trip until both feet were on solid ground again. The last thing she needed was for something to go wrong and have the Force nulling creature in her hands.

"I'd rather not discover one way or the other how I'd fare, honestly, if it's all the same to you." She laughed, before turning as Kaile undressed, placing one hand on the top of the hatch, half stepping out before turning back. "Take it slow, no passing out or falling down in there."

The blonde gave another nod and closed the door behind her, starting up towards the cockpit to check on their time, course, fuel, and to make sure there weren't any surprises left to be had before reaching Sullust. A deep sigh escaped her lips as she tossed her hair back, both hands wrapping along the rungs of the ladder to climb upwards.

Left to her own devices, Kaile found herself standing still for a moment. A deep exhale depleted the air from her lungs and her shoulders fell in weariness.

“Man… what a day,” she told herself, one hand carefully going through the mats of her hair. A few strands tugged at the scalp, prompting a wince.

“Okay Kaile m’dear,” as the pants came off with a flutter at her feet. Tall and proud -- well, as one can be with a few scrapes and such -- the Lorrdian picked up all her clothes with a slow bend. Waste not, want naught, was her motto when it came to time and the sonic refresher.

It would only last a few minutes, but she could clean up her clothes and her body at the same time. Maybe, if she bent her head right, she could get the sonic to clean her hair too.

Jamie plopped down into the pilot's chair, adjusted herself and tapped a few keys on the control deck. Leaning over she checked their current course and coordinates. A nod, happy to see that they weren't bound for some rogue asteroid which would surely doom them she spun around and peered out of the viewport to gander at the void of hyperspace as it whizzed by. The whole idea of it, and finally experiencing it was still sort of new to her, and beautiful to look at, even if a bit disorienting.

Two minutes. We're almost there!

It wouldn't be long at all until the ship dropped from hyperspace and into the planet's low orbit. The blonde wondered what she might find and who she might meet once on the ground. Her mind drifted to the pirates, making her cringe at the thought of who they might instead raid, if not Jamie and Kaile aboard the J-Type. Poor souls.

"Well good thing it is Sullust," Kaile's voice would pipe up behind the younger blonde. Were Jamie to pan to the entryway, she'd see Kaile standing fully clothed again at the threshold. Her face was a bit strained with weariness, but her general jovial nature shone through. A hand came up to sheepishly run through her hair. The sonic had done her some good, at least the dried blood bits were gone. Pushing forward, brown eyes went from Jamie over to the viewport, where the expanse of Sullust's volcanic terrain and mountain ridges rose below the thick layer of mist and steam.

"Ain't no need to go to Alliance base," she told her, moving on over to settle on the co pilot chair. "I can take us straight to the temple." The Jedi temple was a sight to behold, and with Kaile entering the right civilian clearance, they should be able to stop by right on their space port.

"Reckon we'll get one or two of the burlap brigade over to say hello," she shot her a grin. A motion gestured to the comm system. "Mind if I send out a message? They'll need a heads up."

"OH!" Jamie nearly jumped out of the pilot's chair, startled by Kaile's voice unexpectedly coming from behind her.

How she had managed to sneak up behind her so easily was anyone's guess, but then again Jamie hadn't exactly anticipated the girl doing so in the first place, making all the easier to accomplish. "Good thing." She agreed with a nod of the head. No more surprises. "You can? Well, okay then!" Straight to the source? Jamie had no complaints. Landing straight away at the Jedi temple made things easy, and would give the girl even more time to enjoy the sights.

"Of course, yeah! Definitely! Go for it." Motioning for Kaile to do as she wished with the comm and have a seat. Leaning over she had a small expression of confusion on her face that lingered. "The burlap brigade?" She asked quizzically. The girl had never heard the term before, so its' meaning was lost on her. Does she mean security force? That was all that really came to mind.

Taking the comm, Kaile flashed the younger blonde a grin.

"It is a slang term often used for the Jedi..." she confessed, using one hand to dial in the right comm frequency that they would need to talk to the Jedi Temple's Air traffic control. "Some aren't to happy about it though." she joked, chuckling a bit.

"It is in reference to the robes that they seem to always enjoy wearing." Kaile would explain further, entering the last code. "There we go."

The comm would go to the Sullust Jedi Temple. They wouldn't mind extra company right?

[ This is... ] a blink, then a pause, letting go of the transmit button. Wide, curious eyes shone down at Jamie in amused curiosity.

"What is the name of your ship?"

"Ohhhh I understand now."

That made sense she thought. The Jedi were widely known to wear some variation of brownish robes which she now realized sort of resembled an old dirty farmer's rucksack. The revelation made the blonde giggle for a second, until Kaile paused in her transmission to ask for the name of the ship they were aboard. "Right, that might be helpful huh?"

Another brief laugh trickled from her lips. "It's the Haven."

A fitting name for a luxury starship, though the credit for the naming of the vessel could hardly be considered Jamie's. That belonged to whomever owned the ship long before it wound up in her hands.

"Suppose I ought to have told you that earlier, huh?"

A half snort of amusement bubbled forth. Kaile gave a wiggle of her nose and a wide smile. "Yeah... it does come in handy in preventing the Jedi from decidin' to not shoot us out the sky." that was an exaggeration, and it was clear by Kaile's light-hearted attitude that she didn't actually expect the Jed to act that way. Her thumb once again depressed the transmit button.

[ Sullust Temple, this is the Haven, over. Requesting permission to dock. ]

Cshhwck. She let go of the transmit button, a slight crackle in the comm as they waited for confirmation.

"I wonder if they have anythin' to eat." she mulled aloud, glancing back over to Jamie. Yes, she was hungry again. The pain killer was still helping at keeping her headache at bay, but the girl did enjoy keeping her belly full.

"You think Jedi are good cooks?"

The blonde's face fell entirely deadpan for a moment while Kaile joked about the Jedi shooting the starship out of the sky. Do they do that? The girl quickly relaxed though and even giggled when she saw the expression on Kaile's face, though it would be quite obvious that for just a second there was a highly concerned look of terror in her eye that fell away in exchange for a bit of laughter.

"You're hungry?" She looked down at her stomach, squeezing her belly in a rather humorous manner. "I guess I could eat too."

A wiggle of the nose and a tap of her index finger against her chin later the girl shrugged. "I'm not sure, you've more experience with these folks than I. Shouldn't you know if they know how to cook? I'd imagine they can make at least something edible, lest they all go extinct out of starvation, no?"

"I'm always hungry," Kaile told the younger blonde with a grin. All they had to do was wait for confirmation. This would only take a few seconds; the Jedi Order was still quite spot on when it came to security. Especially after the last time the One Sith decided to be rather bold and come to Sullust with a fleet. They had been determined to attempt to bring the Alliance to heel, but found themselves ill prepared.

If anything the coalition of various systems had had plenty of time to fortify Sullust. At that time Kaile had been at Sullust base. Things had gone down and in the wake, Kaile ended up with shrapnel in her arm. Kurt had not been amused.

"And well... I haven't been to their mess halls." she admitted with a grin, "Although the agricorps guys do make a mean burger."

"Well, we have some protein bars, maybe some grain cereal in the common area if you're really, really hungry. That should hold you over til we get planet side." She nudged her with an elbow. "Then we'll see if the Jedi know how to cook together. Worst case? We'll both get food poisoning and have to stay longer, right?"

Jamie shrugged, "Or we could just get food elsewhere and not risk it at all. I suppose that's an option too, though they might find that a bit rude, but what do I know? I'm just a foreign girl from some backwater planet that still has queens and kings."

The younger girl listened as the control tower radioed the Haven, requesting Kaile for clearance codes and cargo. Jamie smiled for a moment, wondering if 'empty, hungry belly' was considered declarable cargo.
