Shimmy shimmy cocoa pop!

"I'll take protein bar!" Kaile answered gratefully, only to pause with a lift of her finger as the control tower crackled through the comm. Well, here we go. Clearance codes. She used a general Alliance clearance civilian code given out to agents for standard use. Nothing top grade, just what she needed to at least dock and take care of any business she required anytime she was at the temple.

[ Aurek - Niner - Xesh - Cresh - Zero - Two.] she quickly piped out, adding [ I have a friend here who would like to talk with a Jedi about the Force...] that sounded so general, but it was the truth. If anything it made things simple.

[ Is Master Rhen around? ] That was rather bold, asking for the top guy. But hey, he was the big wig that folk knew about. The Grand Marshal of the New Jedi Order.

Giving a nod Jamie sat up from the chair, offering it to Kaile to jib-jab on her comm to the Jedi Temple, waiving a finger to single 1 minute as she dropped down from the flight deck to the space below. Humming to herself she made her way into the common area and pulled open a few of the cupboards to scrounge up a couple of protein bars. She paused, contemplating to herself for a minute, the two in her hand.

"Mmmm...Why not!" She said to herself aloud, grabbing four bars because why not, really? With two in each hand she proceeded back up to Kaile. "Hey you! Catch!" Jamie shouted from below the hatchway. A couple of seconds later so that Kaile had time to ready herself the blonde tossed up one, then two bars. One was of a dehydrated fruit variety, the other a salty nut kind. Crunchy.

Back up she came and plopped down into one of the seats, feet resting against the control cluster.

"These are pretty good, not great, but pretty good."

"Am I permanently on welcome duty or something?" Jacen asked the white-robed initiate.

"Master Rhen told me you'd complain."

Jacen sighed. "And I can only imagine he told you to say..." he left an empty space for the reply.

"Be glad you were blessed with a cheerful demeanor. Master Roshell has a face thatsscares even the hardiest applicant." The initiate was swinging back and forth between amusement and fear.

"That all?"

"Erm..."

"And..."

"Suck it up."

"Right then. That's me told. Which docking pad?"

Biting her lower lip with a half grin and a waggle of her eyebrows, Kaile gave an ecstatic expression as she caught the first then the second bar. "Thanks!" she called out, just as the confirmation came in for their clearance.

Eager fingers held one powerbar in her mouth while the other began to take the wrapping off the first. "lssiksh liek wes govvd." Looks like we are good, was the muffled reply. A wag of her eyebrows and the young woman plopped herself down upon the copilots chair. Taking the powerbar from her mouth, she set it back down on her lap and shoved the unwrapped one in between her lips.

"Alright.." mid chew, taking over the piloting controls. She set the bar down, " Looks like we got our clearin'." she flashed Jamie a grin.

"Reckon this will be fun."

Unable to help herself, Jamie let out a loud bout of laughter as she watched Kaile fumble about with the wrapper to the bar and then attempt to talk with her mouth enveloped in food.

Giving Kaile the thumbs up she turned, taking her feet off the center control deck and placing them back on to the floor. "Suppose we should get this thing down into the planet's atmosphere then huh?" Carefully Jamie positioned the ship to penetrate the upper atmosphere on a steady course that would take no more than thirty seconds, after which the necessity to manually pilot would come into play to get them on the ground safely. "How about I get us in range, you land. I'd ather not risk crashing into a Jedi temple as my first impression. I suspect thousands of credits worth of damage also isn't in their agenda."

Piloting through space was far easier given the limited number of things one could potentially hit, when paying attention of course. Jamie was far from being a skilled pilot, as was seen during takeoff from Bespin. That was enough of a disaster for her not to want to put Kaile into shock when landing was even more difficult.

The Sullust Temple

Two thumbs up mid-chew for the Lorrdin told Jamie that she was down for that plan. Munching happily on her powerbar, once could see that even if the girl had a good knock to her noggin, being of low of spirits wasn't the norm for Kaile. No, she would bounce right back, her optimism and cheerfulness a rather infectious cloud of energy about her. Seeming to be endlessly cheerful.

Swallowing, Kaile added,"Well.. aim for the bubble then." She told her. At first it would likely be rather confusing for Jamie, but once they would cut across the soft pink clouds of steam and mist, what Kaile meant about 'bubble', would be absolutely clear.

It was a floating Jedi Temple.

The Structure was massive, the huge floating dome being only half of the portion of the New Jedi Order Temple, a further set of buildings sitting below the floating dome itself and then further constructs reach deep into the earth itself. It had Repulsors and massive grav engines in order to keep it aloft within the sky. Massive hanging cables and a central spiraling tower connected the dome to the surface of Sullust, breaking its impact within a massive sinkhole that had been burned into the earth below.

This disconnect between structured was created for a simple reason, the defense of the Jedi Order Temples as well as a show of the magnitude of the temple itself. The Floating dome is the main residential section of the Temple, containing gardens, homes, healing chambers, and massive learning halls dedicated to the teaching of younglings. Within the dome is also contained the Marshall's meeting hall, the place where the leadership of the New Jedi Order Comes together to discuss the future of the Order.

"Shiny isn't it?" Kaile would add, taking another bite of her powerbar.

As the ship dropped further and further, nearing the massive structure suspended in the sky Jamie sat forward, hands placed on the upper panels overhead. "Woah!" Her jaw fell agape, lingering as she stared out as it grew in size the closer it got. Bespin was somewhat similar in its' architecture and design, but this was something different. This was meant to be a combination of land and air. A massive floating....Fortress, really.

"How many people live there?" She said, pointing to the upper structure, suspended high above the ground, massive cables seemingly securing it from simply floating away into the clouds. "It's huge!"

Squinting her eyes she tried to make out portions of the Temple, imagining to herself what was inside. By this moment in time she'd forgotten all about her own snacks she'd brought for herself, instead opting for standing in awe as Kaile brought them into dock.

Jamie’s reaction evoked a half chuckle and a wide mouth grin of Kaile’s own. Stuffing another bite of the powerbar, the Lorrdian would chew quickly, her eyes glancing up to the bulkhead as she would mull the answer to the younger woman’s question.

“Got anywhere from a few thousand I reckon,” she told Jamie. “They ain’t the only ones here. There’s others; “ a pause and then in elaboration, “Other temples scattered around. Some more quietlike than the others, while this here is the center of it all.”

At least, for the New Jedi Order that is.

“What’s more crazy is that there’s more down there below,” leaning forward, Kaile would point through the viewport of the J-Type down to the ground the massive hovering dome shadowed.

“All them residents are there.. Halls and things.” They were flying closer, and would soon would switch. As it was, Jamie was getting distracted already and with another sassy grin, Kaile decided to take over the piloting.

“Gonna take over, you get your eyeful. I’ve seen it plenty of times.”

"That's...Amazing."

It took several seconds to get those two words out as her brain was entirely focused on taking in the massive structure suspended in time. Her eyes followed Kaile's finger, leaning over to look down further at the smaller buildings on the surface. There were a great many wondrous things about her home world, but this was something entirely different. The architectural magnificence was nothing short of impressive. For a moment she wondered if Naboo was perhaps a bit behind the times when it came to the future of design. Then again, that gave a bit more charm to the planet, so perhaps that was a good thing.

Jamie snapped out of her daydream just long enough to notice that Kaile had already taken over the control of the ship. That was probably for the best anyway. Landing without distractions was hard enough for her, it would be near impossible here. There was so much to look at!

"Any idea who is going to be there when we land? Is there going to be an interrogation or something? Gosh, I don't know what to say. Hi, I just want to look around? That doesn't sound suspicious?"

"Hopefully someone cute," Kaile said impromptu, although it was hard to discern if the young woman was being genuine or not. Not with that tone of mischief and that impish glow that shone within her eyes, giving Jamie a bit of a wag of her eyebrows at the potential proposition.

"I hear Jedi Agricorps guys are pretty hunky; all those hours with tilling the land." her chuckle resonated within the cockpit, and the pixie flash of twin dimples said that at least that bit was true. "I reckon they got arms any girl would like to find themselves lost in for a bit." oh she could keep on going with this too; she even gave a little breathless sigh, as if imagining it already.

Catching Jamie's baffled expression, Kaile laughed, her shoulders shaking in merriment.

"Ahh likely someone from what I call their Pee-Arr department. One of them Masters. Maybe even a Marshal. They'll show you around just fine." The hum of the engines would purr as Kaile rounded to the starboard side of the massive dome. There, a few overhanging docking bays came into view. Allowed entry, Kaile carefully led them inside. A quick stuff of the last bit of her powerbar, and she set off to land at the respective pad they had been assigned.

"Looks like we got company already." she motioned towards the tiny two little bodies in front of their docking pad.

Unfortunately Kaile would have to recall Jacen's arms from their previous meeting. Today he'd hastily thrown on his robes and rushed up to the surface. His brow furrowed as he watched the pair approach from the landing. That was the girl from Lothal, the one who carried an ysalmiri around with her. He reached out with the Force to see if he could sense her.

His expression softened as they approached. "Oh, I'm assuming another breakdown? I'd heard someone wanted to talk to a Jedi, but I assume that must be another docking pad!"

Rhen really should have sent a Master who took themselves more seriously. Aela or Ryan, perhaps.

The look of confusion on the blonde's face towards the attitude Kaile had for the Jedi and their...attractiveness surprised her. It seemed Kaile was a bit more interested in their physique than what they had to teach or say. Perhaps she had already learned what there was to gain here and moved on to something a bit more raw in terms of desire. Still, all Jamie offered to Kaile as they landed was a small, slow nod of the head, and a sheepish smile.

Jamie sauntered along a pace or two behind Kaile. This place was completely foreign to her. She knew nobody and understood frankly nothing at all of Jedi culture or their philosophies and ways. More or less everything about Sullust was alien to her, even if the man speaking and trotting over to greet them was human.

Judging by the manner in which the man spoke, it didn't seem like he was overly official. Jamie expected a Jedi to sound more regal, or at least, you know, proper. Such an odd people...

“Oh well now…” Kaile’s eyes took on a very interested shine. Oh they practically twinkled. A cant of her head and her swagger slowed to a sassy amble.

“This is very interestin’” she murmured over to Jamie, flashing her a wink. Kaile had a thing for faces and voices. It came with the territory of being a Lorrdian. She had a knack of picking them up and recalling where she met someone.

This one, well…”I know this one.” an arch of a brow. “Some welcoming committee.” Kaile knew his face. Not his name, but definitely his face.

“Not a break down,” she began, realizing that the man she had met on Lothal was actually a Jedi. Or an usher.

“Just a pit stop.” a thumb was direct at Jamie. “She’s Jamie.” Kaile would introduce the younger blonde. “Though I reckon there ain’t no caves to go diving in here… “ she came to a halt in front of the two Jedi.

“And I hope there aint no other handy folks ‘round here ready to get a feel on people.”

Jacen felt Initiate Faescht bristling beside him. It was a stark reminder that he was supposedly here on official business and to make a good impression. Jacen preferred a soft touch when it came to new recruits, much as Talon Vosra had taken with him. Everything was new to them, too much pomp and ceremony tended to be overwhelming.

"I'm Marshal Voidstalker, but Jacen is fine. I was led to believe someone had some question on the Jedi Order. I do hope that wasn't it," he replied with just the hint of a smile.

"I met the lady near the crystal caves on Lothal," Jacen decided to add for the benefit of the white robed initiate beside him. The lad had only been here a few days and Jacen had a mind to let him show the prospective member around.

Kaile was certainly excited for this man. The shimmer in her eyes and the sudden and abrupt change to her posture and walk was impossible to miss. The tone of her voice simply cemented that fact. She was into this guy, whoever he was. It was clear to Jamie that the strawberry blonde was particularly excited that he was the greeting party above all else.

Jamie offered a smile by her introduction from Kaile. A small dip of the head in bow to the two facing her, before returning to a more regal posture she'd been groomed to present during formal introductions.

"A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Jacen."

Marshall? That's a funny term for a Jedi, isn't it? Don't they just go by Master? Or Jedi Master? Or Master Jedi? Aren't there enough terms to remember? Seems awful confusing.

"Kaile said that this was a good place to learn about Jedi, and that there are many of your, umm, kind, here. The idea piqued my curiosity."

The twist of her lips in a mischievous smirk would set the tone for the Lorrdian. She even hooked her thumbs along the hoops of her pants and cocked her hip to the right, giving a slight rock of her feet in growing anticipation. Almost as if the knock on the head from earlier didn't quite matter at all!

"Mmm... I also seem to have knocked my head a bit," she gestured to the crown of her head, where a parting of her pale copper hair would reveal where she'd gotten struck.

"Might need some tending and all while Jamie here gets her two credit tour." she'd been around the place already, and she was sure Jamie would enjoy being able to ask all the questions she desired. In the meantime, she could go about seeing if she could fix the ship and get things settled while the younger blonde had her looksie.

"I'm not certain I'd call us a 'kind', but I'm happy to oblige," Jacen replied. "Initiate Rohim, please go and fetch a medical team," he added with a look of concern for Kaile. He decided that walking and talking probably suggested she wasn't in too bad a condition.

"Is there any particular reason you came Jamie, or something in particular I can..." he paused, eyes flicking towards Kaile as he decided not to use the term fill you in on. "Help you understand?"

Jamie shot Kaile an all too knowing look, a small shake of the head and a roll of the eyes before turning back to Jacen.

"I've never seen a Jedi temple before. In fact, I've never exactly met a Jedi before. I was hoping to learn a little bit on the history of your Order. What sets you apart from the other Force groups, and maybe learn what you all do." She gave a nod, "And if there's anything I could maybe learn in a brief period to practice on my own later, I'd be super grateful!" This would be the first of a few Jedi stops for her. And while she wasn't quite certain as to whether or not she would be signing herself up for one order or another, if that was what one even did, she was still hopeful to learn all she could to better make her decision in the future.

"Kaile told me about the different Jedi groups that are scattered throughout the galaxy, but this is my first stop. So I guess anything you want to share I'd be more than happy to see or hear."

Despite the dull ache in her head, Kaile wasn't too put off her typical behavior. The girl was a social Koros Butterfly, and being talkative was merely in her nature. However, she was aware that adding her quips here and now while Jamie was asking her questions was likely not the best idea. This trip, after all the hazards from the space pirates earlier, was to have Jamie learn more about the Jedi. Even if this one was just one of many flavors.

Initiate Rohim was a quick one, within the span of Master Voidstalker and Jamie beginning the course of their discussion, Kaile saw him talk to another Jedi Knight. He gestured over to Kaile's little group, the Lorrdian watching him as another joined him a few seconds after. Well they were sure fast.

Seeing as she was but a watcher for the most part - and because she spotted a bench to sit - Kaile sauntered on over. A small plop of her behind and she got comfy, her nose scrunching up in a mix of a grin and a gesture of encouragement to Jamie to not bother with her. Rohim, it seemed, had already found a medic.

[member="Kaileann Vera"] [member="Jamie Pyne"]

"Of course," Jacen replied simply. "We can go and sit somewhere and talk," he added, turning and indicating for her to follow at his side. There were a number of cafes up in the most pleasant areas of the biome. They sprang up quickly with the increase in traffic. Many came through the temple now, there weren't just Jedi to be fed and watered. Jacen decided he would need to find out about Jamie first. They weren't in the habit of teaching a little of the Force and setting people off. A little knowledge and all that...

"Which other orders are you considering visiting?" he asked. "It might be easier to outline where we differ."
