Silver Jedi Order Dom of Charros IV: Yo ho Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me

Enemies: Pirates

With its radiator panel strut ruptured, the TIE fighter began to get destabilized and sent into a downward tailspin as a result, while she failed to score a hit on the wingman; she could only watch in horror the radiator panel crash against the cliff. And the other part crash against a commercial office. May the next kill actually destroy the craft clean, she thought, while realizing that scoring mobility kills against TIEs was a much riskier proposition than it was against other craft because the engines were not as visible. But she kept climbing, overshooting the main battlefield, while diving so hard that the vertical turn required to do so almost threw her against the cockpit, with the safety harness saving her. Once again, she was being scolded by Wallpaper for performing maneuvers that are too brash, briefly finding herself in the crosshairs of an opposing pilot who, somehow, managed to score a hit that rendered her without any ray shields left. But as much as Wallpaper accepted that hits were part of the game in a dogfighting engagement, Varindar's recklessness may prove to be her undoing if she doesn't have proper guidance.

"Hotelier, you waited far too long to dive. You try too hard to emulate the Jedi aces of ages past, and even those of more recent memory: also, no matter how many kills you scored in the past, the next guy can kill you" Wallpaper scolded Varindar.

TheThe dropship was a different experience. She figured it would be something smoother, but can’t expect too much especially for Padawans. Charlie kept her eyes shut until they landed and released them to the battlefield. The planet felt odd it didn’t feel like other places. Energies that flowed through the force felt cancerous and tainted. Charlie ran her nose over her sleeve, trying to get the stench of the sith out of her system. Everything here felt wrong.

Pausing, Charlie felt the weight of her boots and equipment sink her into the ground slightly. It was an odd sensation, feeling the moisture of the ground on her feet. Her mind ventured elsewhere with her orders. Storm the castle with the others. Move on and destroy the sith. Thinking of them, made the girls chest tighten. The reaction was something she was growing used to. Her mouth went dry and her senses heightened. Charlie began to recognize this feeling, she wanted to fight. Revenge wasn’t the Jedi way, but she needed it. Some sort of justice was needed.

Someone nudged her, snapping her out of her trance. More orders and she nodded, Jyoti wasn’t here so she was someone else’s responsibility. Checking once more her weapons, she moved with the group to storm the castle. Anticipation fed her emotions, fueling her desire for 'justice'.

She gave a quick glance to the Zabrak as the ship made is approach, "Ah well not a Knight just yet, my trials were put on hold due to the invasion and all, but I am confident that I would have past them anyway sooo probably why you have not heard". It was a little embarrassing to explain the situation, but Sukai always put forward the most important task first, and fight now making sure Asa got home safety was the mail goal. She would have elaborated a bit more, also wanting to ask about the tone of voice she said it in, the force indicating that the Zabrak had something else on their mind, alas the war was not going to give that respite, a sudden shudder engulfing the drop ship.

A crash like landing, apparently her mother was well acquainted with these, perhaps it would become a family, not that is was an enjoyable experience, herself jerking forward as the metal hull impacted against the ground, Sukai's stomach churning a bit before the ship came to rest. "Well, another happy landing", she remarked, quickly going through the check Kei insisted they use despite herself not being harmed in the slightest, following suit with the rest of the sq wad as they disembarked from the downed craft.

The looming tower in the distance emanating a sinister feel over the entire plain, the eerie silence and lack of an attacking force just playing more to the hollowing scene that played before them. Turning back around she looked to Zavii and [member="Charlie"], being there where 4 Padawans and2 knights on the ground, that meant groups of 3 each, "I suspect we should, let master Amadis lead the way, Zavii and charlie, follow my flanks and keep and eye out for traps or a potential ambush". Grasping her sabre hilt the samurai Jedi slowly approached the castle, a direct air of caution surrounding the woman's body.

Tanasuki strafing run against the enemy fighter was successful, the emerald blaster bolts crashing through the cockpit on the enemy craft, setting it aflame and spiraling down to the earth in a majestic fireball, most likely incinerating its pilot instantly. "One down onl- woah", a sudden red streak glanced past her left wing, an enemy fighter trying to catch the Padawans tail, but before either himself or the enemy could make a move [member="Glade"] swooped in, claiming the kill and saving the boy a tricky dog fight, "Thanks for that glade".

Now clear of enemy attackers Tanasuki slammed on the brakes sending his fighter tumbling in a spiral before suddenly hitting the engines back up, flying once more into the fray, his sensors picking up on two boogies heading for nose dive. Most of all though Glades fighter being sandwiched between the two ships, the trio making a deadly dive towards the surface, not good, mainly due to the face Tanasuki no one to rule out the face of suicide dive to get an enemy fighter to follow suit. In addition, with and a seemingly unknowing enemy fighter on her six things could become messy, and fast.

Slamming the ships thrusters to the max Tanasuki sped after Glade and her two opponents, putting the interceptor though some rather evasive rolls and movements to get in behind the following enemy fighter. It was a tricky shot, be slightly off aim and Glade would be the one hit, "calm yourself Tana, let the force guide your movements". Taking in a deep breath time seemed to slow down as the boy concentrated on the enemy ship, his thumb hovering over the firing control, waiting, each second passing like a single slow drop of water. Then suddenly everything going back to normal speed as a short volley of laser fire erupted from his craft, slamming into the engine of the enemy ship trailing Glade, Tanasuki letting out the confined breath, "that, was, intense".

"Red alert. The Silver Jedi are here. Lock down the target and make sure Asaraa Vaashe isn’t left alone or else I’ll kill any of you who offer me an poor excuse for failing to serve the Dark Side." The Knight turned to the girl. "Time to roll out the red-carpet."
The alert wasn't only broadcast within the fortress complex, but also across the sector over ghostwave as a call for reinforcements while also providing coordinates for Dawn's Grace. Minutes later, a pair of small black corvettes reverted in high orbit above Charos IV from a precision microjump. Distortion emitters were active throughout transit, so they would be difficult to track until reversion. Necessary to reduce the response window to their attack.

From long range, the corvettes began rain salvos of mag-pulse and intruder missiles on the lone cruiser while beginning a dance of preemptive evasive maneuvers. Small and nimble, they were almost as difficult to target as starfighters by capital guns, and well out of the range of typical starfighter defenses.

The crew of Dawn's Grace had been presented with a new challenge in the form of these mystery ships, but it was only the beginning.

The New Order was coming.

Location: Kobold Blastboat "Reiver", Deep Space

From the bridge of the Reiver, Arlen studied the tactical feeds as she watched her advanced unit get to work in orbit, creating a nice big distraction for additional waves of reinforcements. There was a whole fleet of Sith ships out in the sector, but she kept her response measured to avoid undue escalation. No reason to throw the kitchen sink at the Silvers, not yet anyway.

"15 minutes," she announced over intercomm. "Be ready by then, I'm dropping you on the fortress with whatever you scrambled."

Of course, Arlen didn't have to worry too much about Maria and her team. They were always ready to ruin someone's day. That's all her psychotic counterpart seemed to care about. Normally it was up to Arlen to keep Maria reigned in, but today she would let the cyborg do as she pleased. Their newest client wanted one thing above all else.

To make the Silver Jedi suffer.

For this job, she needed the New Order's resident mad dog. She would also be taking part in surface action. A field agent through and through, she didn't care much for staying couped up in ships and bunkers all day.

She observed the feeds a few minutes more, then turned to leave for the troop bay.

[member="Joon"] [member="Kei Amadis"] [member="Varindar Asyt"] [member="Charlie"] [member="Asaraa Vaashe"]

Maria was already prepared, she had decided to not take massive company along with her as it seemed to always attract more attention. Her drop pod contained 8 people, Maria, two Sith knights and five acolytes. Each were some of the best, the sadist didn’t want to be dragging dead weight around, she preferred to make it. With her blade sheathed behind her, Maria stood patiently in the pod she had selected. With a brief once over of the troops, she set to giving them a briefing.

“We are to make them suffer. Now, death is all well and good, but there’s nothing like loosing all your limbs and two pints of blood before being slowly bifurcated. So please, take you time. If I hear about any of you getting injured because you’re too busy bragging about the power of the Sith yadda yadda, then you won’t see a medic. I’ll kill you myself. Understood? Right, now feel free to have a drink, killing is thirsty work and we’re not gonna have time for a cozy tea party down there.”

Maria then paused and turned her head to the side and tapped her chin as though a stray thought had struck her mind. Her heels clicked on the ground as she planted her feet and spun around on the spot.

“One of you, remind me to buy Arlen a pint. She’s not going to be all over my ass during this fight and I better show my appreciation via significant inebriation! God knows I needed some time to cut loose and she can put a real damper on things.”

With completely and utter intention, she had left her comma on and allowed this to be broadcast across to Arlen herself, the Android taking pleasure in her word games with the other Sith agent. Having had enough banter, she ran a gloved hand through her hair and then smiled quite sweetly.

“Let’s have a grand old time yes?”

[SIZE=10pt]Looking over towards the girl that spoke, Charlie blinked with slight confusion. She knew she was supposed to listen and let the others lead her, but there was an undying urge to prove herself. The silver Jedi had done a lot for her and she wanted to help with any and all of its endeavors. Also, if she did well maybe she’d get some sort of praise. Looking around, Charlie remained in her head. She needed to not desire praise, to search for it could lead to the dark side. The thought of following that path made the small Padawan growl through gritted teeth.[/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Falling to the dark side was a fate worse than death. It was an embarrassment especially after everything that she had dealt with. Shaking herself from her mind she looked back and nodded letting those around her know she understood the orders. Her feet moved against the pavement of the castle, such an odd structure, but she assumed with how large it was there would be many places the Sith could hide. The more she thought about the upcoming encounters, the heavier her breathing became. Every inch of the K’paur’s body felt warm, she felt her sensitivity to the Force around her grow, but being this was something new and she truly didn’t understand it - it did nothing but make her rash and unpredictable. [/SIZE]

[SIZE=10pt]Her footsteps started to quicken as she began to slightly ahead of the pack as they moved closer. Charlie’s mind worked a mile a minute as she glanced from side to side trying to seek out a target. Her blood pumped and the anticipation of battle continued to drive her. A grin began to pull at the side of her lips, in this moment she was enjoying the hunt. [/SIZE]

The rabble of pirates around her was not a particularly good group for fending off Jedi in Seras's mind. One had to be particular when dealing with Jedi as a non force user after all, for the common layman at least. Either they were going to be used as plain and simple fodder, or Joon had more of a plan then she was letting on. Or perhaps the woman plain and simple did not care? She knew little about the Sith and certainly not enough to judge her character or thought process. But she did know how Seras veiwed her, and the Sith thought of her in return. The Sith wanted simply to spread darkness, and Seras was here to fight the Jedi. 'Not Enemies' would be the best way to describe it.

Her attention was pulled away as the Transports broke through the atmosphere and headed for the surface of the planet. Seras's single eyed gaze watched the transport dodged and bobbed through the incoming enemy fighters. It won't be enough. That thought flashed across her mind as she watched the transport come down and end up pulling down into a crash landing upon the surface of the planet. They had a good pilot to pull out of that one as relatively unharmed as they did. That was how it felt to her from here at least. She did not think there was anyone particuly strong there, but that was going by pure gut instinct. It would certainly have troops, likely far better trained then the pirate rabble that was in front of her.

Now the question was, to go to the Jedi, or wait for them... Seras suspected there were more coming. A single shuttle was far to easy and going from what she heard on the battle chatter, there were several more freighters inbound. She could see one from here, blasting away at the Pirates fighter. In the end, Seras chose to wait. Any from the crashed dropship who wished to get to the Temple would likely end up having to come across her to get to it. So instead she waited, choosing patience over her desire to fight, standing alone in the barren field with her arms crossed as she waited upon her enemy to come and make themselves known.

Joon had walked out and stood simply before the stronghold. There was nothing she wanted to keep safe bar their Jedi traitor, for she was the tool to unlocking more of the secrets and lies that the Silver Jedi stored. Revealing one would spiral into more, and soon the Sith could pick apart their enemy from the inside.

With her gleaming silver and black sword strapped to her back, Joon held her lightsaber hilt in her right hand and ignited it with a snap-hiss of crimson. The Jedi were on ground, and they were moving. The transports and ships above rumbled as the pirates either made a vein attempt to block the Silver Jedi in or flee into the atmosphere to save themselves.

Cowards.

The clone’s amber eyes, once hazel and warm and hopeful, now burnt with a corruption that had rotted her entire body and mind to one serving monster of the Dark Side of the Force. The Light was repulsive to her, and she could smell it coming.

"Jedi!" Joon shouted. "You cannot defeat an enemy who is beyond the Force! There will be no redemption!" She started lazily walking over the ashen ground. "There will be no peace! You will suffer today out the hands of the Dark Side!"

There, she stood and waited for the ones to come and choose their fate.

Straight into another Sith stronghold. Brought back memories. The Jedi Master was calm as the darkness began to be more apparent around them, etched into the walls, fauna and stone of this place. “Trust who you are.” Kei said to any that were following directly toward its doorway, feeling the uncertainty, the battle readiness or the emotions coming off them. Seeing them flank he nodded to [member="Sky'ito Yumi"]. It showed a keen awareness to stay in sight but not bunch up. "When calm. Use your feelings. They are your guide." Kei said to [member="Zavii"] with a grin, when the padawan asked if they should follow. If it feels wrong get out of there he wanted to say. If it feels right to follow, follow. But he let her decide what was right for her and act on it, only guiding her to rely on herself.

[member="Charlie"]

Peace
Breathing deeply and focusing on their task an aura of peace began to emanate from the Jedi Master outward. The reverse of a Sith causing fear, and something he’d practice for many years now. Peace. Calmness. Inner Strength. Not sought from something outside, but inside. A relief of tension and fear. Especially directed at [member="Charlie"], he had a sense she was personally invested in some way, and didn't want her getting herself hurt or worse when the inevitable happened, as it was about to ahead. ~You already are saving her.~ He assured her with a grin, knowing well the feeling of wanting to protect and save another, to seek justice against the Sith, they were old memories he had lived through.

[member="Joon"]

Marines continued to search the grounds, and Kei continued inward till he came across the first Sith shouting at them [member="Joon"]. Victory. Death. Defeat. Didn’t give you things in your hand. “No redemption in conflict, only what you tell yourself. Nothing can be gained here except the hostages.” Amadis said firmly but calmly to however many Sith had come out to meet them. Continuing his walk straight in toward the stronghold, confidence, experience and peace in his stride. He’d not even raised his weapon yet, the armor he wore that of the marines, but the guardian’s lightsaber on his hip and the force aura for those with a sense more than likely made who he was clear enough.

[member="Sky'ito Yumi"] | [member="Charlie"] | [member="Zavii"] | [member="Barinthus E`ron"]
~Stay together.~ Amadis repeated like a broken record again to through the force. Like the old teacher who said it a hundred times hoping the student didn't get hurt. ~ If I am held up, you have to find her.~ Continuing to walk forward until he was either stopped or reached the first Sith at the front door.

The guardian was moving to put himself directly in front of [member="Joon"], and looking right at her, that same peaceful aura put out, calmness, peace, inner strength. Directed toward the padawans around him, hopefully calming and settling them as best the older Jedi could, but that would only be temporary come what was ahead.

A dark haired, armoured solider had the nerve, yet courage, to meet Joon head on. While she didn’t see herself as fearsome or tried to be something she wasn’t, she was confident and narrow minded in her vision, goal and motivation. That was the unwavering factor and made her feel a God among mortals.

She had out-lived Empires and her Sith Masters, and she was still standing.

"Brave, or foolish. You do not belong here, Jedi. Your intrusion is not warranted or required."

She didn’t rush ahead, blazing saber to attack like a wild beast. She was methodical, interested and calculating. This Jedi soldier had the gall to face her, and she was fascinated by this plague of the Light. He was a younger man than expected, and held himself with confidence.

"The hostages are not yours. They are not held against their will. The Jedi Asaraa is one of us. You can either accept her fate or risk the lives of others, including them," she didn’t look away from Kei but pointed her blade to the younger Jedi away from them, "in trying to prove a point."

The blade hummed, and it reflected in her sickly eyes. She was desperate to cull the younger Jedi Knights.

"Choose."

Sukai gave a small worried glace at Charlie, the woman emanating a overconfident aura, like someone wanting to prove there worth or thinking they where not doing enough to help. Reaching out Sukai sent a small telepathic message 'your presence alone is a great hope, do not do anything reckess Asaraa would not want you to be hurt', the last thing Sukai wanted was to gain one Padawan, only to lose another. Something that she would have to taking into more consideration when commanding troops and eventually getting her own student to train.

Suddenly the small troop came to a stop at the appearance of a Sith knight, on with a rather large sword strapped to her back, a dark signature a black as night raising from her as she barked down at the Jedi, her and master Amadis exchanging words, but no fight breaking out. Sukai still motioning for the Padawans to stay back slightly, letting the said master Jedi handle things for now. Looking around the entrance way for any more potential opponents her gaze falling upon an odd looking girl standing off to the side, dressed in Atrisan style outfit, an eye patch cross her eye, the same side Sukai bore her scar.

Slowly she nodded to Kei as he suggested they move on, Sukai approaching the woman in question, standing a few meters in front of her, offering a small 45o bow. "I am going to assume that you are on the Sith's side if you are standing here, and by your aura you are a force user correct"? Not only that, the woman's signature was that of a grey, muddled with both light and dark, a foot further in the dark then light. "I would ask that you move aside and allow me and my friends to enter, but if you are Atrisan like I assume, I know that you will want to fight... am I right"? She may have been wrong in this assumption, but it was best to ask instead of just drawing one's blade right at the get go.

Novan had stayed back, not saying much of anything, taking care to simply observe how the Silver Jedi worked as a whole. He regrouped with the head of the operation, apparently having reached the surface before they did, not saying much of anything to the marines that had landed with him. But as they trekked across the ashen world and came to their destination, as the abjectly terrifying woman raised her blood-red blade and told their senior Knight to choose with a voice that seemed to crawl directly out of the depths of hell to escape from her lips.

The purple-eyed woman with the long black hair stepped up to speak to her, standing beside the senior Knight. A small measure of peace met the Pantoran as she spoke up, but it was stymied by the knowledge that these pleasantries they exchanged - if they could be called that - were little more than a staged production; more tradition than anything else at this point. The Jedi would try to negotiate for peace, the Sith would refuse, there'd be a fight and the Jedi would win the day.

They were here to get their fellow Jedi out. And right now, the only way in was directly behind Psycho Witch Lady.

"Y'know," Novan muttered, mostly to himself, "I think 'go to hell' would've summed it up nicely..."

The blue-skinned Padawan gathered the Force into himself, reaching out as he did once more. As he did, he remembered his adventure on Tython; the wind whipping across his face, the lush and beautiful jungle becoming little more than a blur as it sped past him. It had been so effortless then. So easy. This world wasn't nearly so giving with its connection to the Force as Tython had been, especially not with Psycho Witch and the Horde of Horrors awaiting them. But if there was ever a time to get this speed thing right, it was now.

And as soon as the Jedi decided that they were done talking and made an opening, Novan was taking it.

Screeching down, none of this mismatched trio were pulling up. Fuzznuts below ping ponging her shields like she was in some sort of rim-retro steel drum band, wasn’t helping her see anything but s’plosions all over her nosecone either.

“Your descent is quite illogical, adjust your vector to match the windsheer and… That means PULL UP GLADE” Fyor AI Broke character for his monotone AI, shouting in her ear. In this case came into character, just like he would of done, quirks she’d asked for when she’d had him designed. “Fffff fine” Glade slammed on her thrusters, shaking her wasp halfway back to its factory parts and pulled hard on her stick, so so hard in her petite hands, digging her nails in. Today she wanted to live, not every day she did, today was different.

Her big nasty ahead wasn’t so lucky, bigger and less manoeuvrable, he clipped their rapidly approaching ground and went into a spin breaking apart ahead of her, she wasn’t far off him, moving through the smoke his wreck left ahead of her. Huffing and puffing under her mane of frizzy curly hair, someone asked was she was okay and she didn’t say anything. Kinda burned up on her nose cone, her wasp a bit black but okay. These high g's were such a rush, but her ship wasn't happy about making them. She could so get used to pushing the envelope.

“Snapper on your six Glade” Tagged from her rear upper quarter by her remaining pursuer, Nato was out of ground to move down too, as flat as she could be, with her pursuer far above her. Making a horizontal turn across their deck, she was in a pickle until [member="Tanaski Yumi"] saved her bum, coming in to save hers just as buzzkill behind was lining up his kill shot. A brighter voice over comms bubbled up, “yeppers intense." she laughed, "fancy flying, mhmm, kinda owe ya.” Her arms hurt. But this was so worth it. Reckless as anything, showed just how she was feeling.

"Right, let's go get our girl," Zavii nodded as she charged up her rifle and followed [member="Sky'ito Yumi"] toward the great stone temple that loomed over the wasteland. The Force wasn't particularly vibrant on this world, but the unmistakable growl of the Dark Side penetrated everything around the ancient structure. As they grew closer, Zavii noticed a red lightsaber and a few meters later realized it was being brandished by a Darksider of some kind. Whoever that woman was, she was pure evil and Zavii had do doubt that they would have to kill her to retreive Asaraa.

The Sith Witch called out to the group, specifically addressing the Knight who'd lead them out. As he started talking with her, Zavii followed the Jin girl Sky, along with the younger Charlie as they approached another antagonist. A living obstacle to their goal in the form of a Humanoid woman who looked not much older than Zavii herself, but much larger. As they approached the one-eyed woman, Zavii listened to Sky greeting her but kept her blaster trained on the pirates behind her; taking stock of which ones had ranged weapons at the ready and who among them seemed the most threatening, not only in their stances and positions, but in their Force signatures as well.

The sky became abuzz with activity under IFR conditions, which forced her to rely on ordnance to attempt shooting down enemy fighters; with such poor visibility, firing guns was a risky operation even with a targeting computer. And now came the means to pick off the pesky fighter that she wanted to engage in a dive, while Wallpaper was out there engaging the other fighter that hit her: she ensured that she had a sensor lock before popping missiles from underneath it. Come on, come on, target lock, she thought, while precious seconds were spent getting that lock-on to occur. And it was a time where she could get the ray shields to recover somewhat. Combing her emotions of humiliation suffered at the hands of this flight instructor, she was more than willing to pop the missile while she knew when it would be favorable and when it would be less so. Just that the enemy fighter is in for a more unpleasant surprise as the projectile is being launched from a flanking position that was more like firing aft given their flight paths.

"Hotelier, Fox Three!"

ZXDmlmR.png
SSV Dawn's Grace. Its CIC was on full alert when the sensors detected the presence of two corvettes, and even more so when they reported a missile lock by four missiles launched by these two corvettes; its captain ordered flares launched via its Rainburst flak guns. And also activating its jamming array; in fact, those missiles detonated against flares, causing some damage to the shields in the blast but the shields still held, to an extent. But, since those missiles were launched from standard turbolaser range, Rhongomyniads were loaded with buzz droids, aimed at their gun emplacements, while the missiles being fired at these two corvettes contained nagnol gas chambers, so that, if/when they are shot down, the enemy would find its targeting arrays jammed, and, from there, a soft firepower kill can be scored. And yet the best was yet to come: turbolasers, energy torpedoes, to name the most dangerous stuff, spread evenly between both corvettes, while acknowledging that heavy and long-range turbolasers may not be able to hit those corvettes. Most puzzling; I thought the Sith were not very good in space - the New Sith Order is definitely better in this arena than the mainstream ones, the captain thought, in his first sortie after being the XO of a ship that took part on Mirial.

The Togruta's face twisted into a grimace of disgust as she felt her little ghost fill with...what was that happiness at seeing the girls trailing around the Jedi Master, joy and hope? This wouldn't do, this wouldn't do at all. So those were her little friends then? the look on her face morphed at that moment, the grimace disappearing into a malicious grin as her blue eyes dropped down to stare at the surface of the temple around her. The young woman swept both her hands out to the sides, a swirling wind seemed to rise through the stones of the temples, carrying up the stones that littered the surface of the temple. Fist size rocks down to pebbles hung in the air around her before she threw her hands forward, sending them streaming at the Padawans. A veritable hail of stone swarming down to meet them as the Togruta waved and grinned at them from behind the barrage. "Being awfully quiet down there aren't you, don't you want to come and say hello?" There was nothing kind, nothing giving about the smile which she turned on them as she levitated another stone up before throwing it down at the Padawans with a flick of her hand. "Or perhaps you prefer to cower away from a fight?" Beneath her, around her she could feel the thrumming anticipation of the fight, the pirates and mercenaries shifting in their positions as they lined up their shots, aiming down the barrel of their guns at the Jedi forces. "Well, what're you waiting for?" That was all it took, a simple question before the one trigger-happy pirate shot off, and then there was no turning back, the air between the two sides filled with the sight of blaster bolts racing back and forth.

Tanasuki quickly pulled back on his yoke, the interceptor groaning under the stress as the Padawan pulling it out of the dive, just having finished off the fighter tailing Glade. It was a rather intense feeling for what seemed like a simple action the woman voicing her thanks over the com lines shared by the force users. "No problem you rub my back I rub yours, well not literately, unless you like massages", his voice in a joking tone, 'but on another note, seems the enemy fighters have been cleared out or are running, but I have new of an enemy corvette engaging the cruiser". Something that he was surprised took so long, would make more sense for the Sith to jump in there ship while the drop ships still deployed, not after, "Should we take the battle up to the stars or cover the ground troops, though Asyt looks like she could still use some help"?

He asked mainly due to Glade being older from what he knew, but also due to not being much of a leader, not the best follower either. Pulling on his controls the Jedi star fighter pulled up along side that of other pilot, awaiting further instruction, but not oblivious to ongoing troubles down below, a sickness aura of darkness seeping from the temple. It made him wonder how anyone could live in such a place, that feeling of being corrupted and twisted... so unnatural, only one desperate for power or stricken with anger/sadness would let themselves become a slave tot he dark side of the force.

Amadis was an awkward diplomat. Force knows Taiden would have done better. As was expected people reacted with caution or mistrust from both sides. His weapon still not drawn to match the hum from the one ahead of him. Kei firmly but calmly said to the lead Sith [member="Joon"]. “Take us to her. My word that she will decide for herself.”

Turns out she would. Only not the way Kei had anticipated.

Before he could shout cease fire, or duck for that matter. Pirates were shooting, and so were marines. Jedi stood in the middle, and one Kei Amadis caught with his thumb up his….

“Protect yourselves.” Amadis shouted loudly to those around him, expecting them to take cover or draw their weapons, defending themselves as they needed to. “Can end this still without further injury. You have control here.” He said directly at Joon, decades of experience behind the Epicanthix's eyes. There was a dominance about Joon over the others behind her.

All told this was about par for Kei’s diplomatic history. He waited for the Sith ahead of him to make her move. Breathing out and finding stillness. His weapon not raised. Amadis would assist Joon with a heavy force push to the side if she chose to come at him. The Jedi Master moving aside as one blaster bolt shot past him, but otherwise not flinching, she was between him and the threat.

There was one he spoke to loudly over the noise, forcefully so, calling to wherever she was. “Asaraa Vaashe. What is your choice. Not what others say. You.Choice. That balance you walked as a Jedi came down to choice. He could so easily strike at Joon, strike at the Sith but he held waiting for them to choose their course even as the firefight broke out around them. He had no idea yet inside of Asaraa Vaashe she was fighting her own internal struggle with another being, not just herself. Perhaps others would spot it or know more, perhaps his question would stir her spirit to fight for herself?

Zavii listened to the short negotiations as she watched the pirates tensely. Her blaster rifle was at the ready and her finger tensed at the trigger, not quite squeezing it yet since she didn't know exactly where it would fire. As expected, the talking didn't last long. [member="Asaraa Vaashe"], or rather, whomever it was using her shape- for the Force rang darkly within- cast a hail of stones in their direction. Zavii knelt down quickly and cast up a telekinetic shield to keep the rocks from hitting her head. Then the Pirates opened fire.

"Kyk!" The Zabrak didn't have anywhere to hide at the moment, so she fired on a Bith who was up in a rampart with a rifle of some kind. The blue bolt zipped through the air and in a flash, the pirate's head grew an extra hole, making him seize up and collapse without a sound as his Song suddenly ended. Zavii was sickened, but had no time to dwell on it. More beings were firing on her and her friends, so she picked another target- this one Human- and her blaster birthed another electromagnetic bolt of death.

This was not a world she would return to, if she could help it.
