what i wanted was 1 species with an adaptable genome like sat Evee from pokemon the Eternian people would be plastic to there enviroment.
bit honestly my idea was they were almost wiped out by the Empire or 1st order after being used for genetic experements.

Something of this complexity and creative origins toes the line of "Not in-line with SW theme/canon" and would therefore need to be exceptionally balanced in Strengths/Weaknesses and likely require a healthy dose of development to even consider passing.

However, without seeing an actual submission, it's difficult to really say if I would approve it at the end of the day. Changelings are canon to SW, but their changes are in appearance only.

There's no harm in attempting the submission, but I will tell you now that if you are not willing to work with the Codex Judges to make it balanced and logical, there's very little likelihood that it will be approved.

This question is more out of curiosity more than impatience, I hope this doesn't come off as rude! I realize that reviewing codex submissions must be a very tedious and time consuming task and for that I say thank you to all the judges, but I was wondering how long it usually takes before a codex judge is able to look at a submission? Thank you very much!

It's a variable thing. We've had a lot of recent 'weekend submissions' that have taken a lot of our focus, and your particular submission is a pretty sizable one, so it'll take longer to comb through and review. We do therefore ask for your patience - be assured, we will get around to you!

It's long, but there's no such thing as 'too long' when it comes to a submission. Detail is always something we can appreciate! Although cutting the images down in size would have made for a speedier read.

So has anyone revisited the idea of the Mogwai species? I think it would be a cool exotic pet to have either on the black market or perhaps high end collectors. They already have interesting weaknesses, for example bright light, and direct sunlight will kill them. So the Breeding/multiplying in water thing could work there. Also Gizmo is so cute and goes along with the Furbies of the late 90's era.

Sorry just seen it pop up as a question in this topic so was interested on if anyone pursued the idea further.

is a Species that has the physiology like Time Lord from Doctor Who allowed (two hearts, 30 degrees Celsius body temperature, regenerating, etc.) Permitted, since I have an idea for a character like that, but the species doesn't exist yet. No, they won't have the knowledge of time travel, and no they won't be called Time Lords either. I'm not one for plagiarism, so other things will be changed to meet both Star Wars Lore, and the Species Creation Template.

The purpose and relevance of the two hearts and unusual body temperature will need to be explained. Regeneration is allowed, but this is a major strength for any species and will need to be balanced by some very good weaknesses. The regeneration will also need solid limits imposed.

Are humanoid like aliens able to mate with humans and breed hybrid individuals?
I have a story plot in mind.

* Is it permitable to create a species inspired and based on someone else's artwork online? No copyrights intending to be made of course

-A
