Species Creation Questions

I don't see a problem with that. Most species that form symbiotic relationships tend to survive on their own, they just prosper when it in a relationship...as it were. So thus, the separate species can stand alone. Though I would suggest doing the species submissions one at a time (so that you can build the relationship up in the second submission).

As for the planet, yeah, that's fine as well. You are allowed three submissions in each section of the codex at a time. But again, it's often easier to work through one submission at a time when we are looking at planets and species. If I were you, I would go with the planet followed by the more dominant species and then the second species after that.

No. A species submission is not mandatory; neither the Factory or Codex are mandatory.
I would personally suggest submitting a species before play, but you are not required to do so.
And yes, you may play an accepted species.

I must be stupid but what does Sentient, semi-Sentient and non sentient even mean?
I have checked dictionary and I am not too sure if its right.

Nothing wrong with asking questions. Please see this link for answers. Sentience/Legends.

Specifically, the following excerpt (s):

"Sentience was the ability of an organic species to think intelligently. It was commonly determined by the being's ability to reason, speak, and manipulate tools. Creatures that completely lacked that ability were classified as non-sentient, while those that appeared to have emerging sentience were classified as semi-sentient. Droids, despite not being technically alive to begin with, were regarded as sentients."

"According to The Essential Guide to Alien Species, ghostwritten by Ann Margaret Lewis based on data collected by Senior Anthropologist Mammon Hoole, "a species given the sentient definition is considered able to reason and understand abstract metaphorical concepts and ideas, make and use tools, and communicate with written or spoken language." Species that did not reason at all and survived via their natural instincts, were classified as non-sentient,[1] or sometimes as sub-sentient.[2] It should be noted that non-sentience did not imply the lack of any form of intelligence. Species that appeared to have emerging sentience were classified as semi-sentient. These included species that had very primitive capabilities to manipulate tools, use language, and/or solve problems.[1] Examples included the Arkanian dragon, the Zillo Beast, the Bafforr tree, the wampa, and the sarlacc."

What even are these. I checked wookiepedia. wiki and most things. Not what I was looking for.

What are the specific gases for:
Type I
Type II
Type III
Type IIII

Certainly. As long as its designed so that it is able to fit within the confines of the Star Wars Universe, and abides by Chaos rules I don't see why not.
possible dumb question. aer non organics allowed? say liie a Cybertronian like species? ( obviosly not Transformers.)

When you get into cybertronics and attempting to make it a race, you're now walking the edge of artificial intelligence, which is a restricted technology and requires a lot of development to get passed through the factory.

I wouldn't recommend it, personally, as that's also stepping out of the bounds of the Star Wars universe, but it can be done with a lot of work and prudent detail.

We also have a fairy-esque race that was created already here: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/45055-as-aki/

Not to say this means you can't create your own, but that one exists if you were merely looking for a race to use for a character.

[member="Lorelei Darke"] that while thet all are the same species they can have wold mutations.
ec Clawfull and prince adam are the same species. it only takes a generation for them to adapt to an enviroment.

[member="Lyth Meran"]

First off if I'm correct your talking about the He-Man universe?

So from what I gather Clawful and Prince Adam are both two different species so I don't quite understand your example. So you're looking for a species that is subject to mutation and adaption on a more frequent basis? Do you mean random or specific mutations?
