Star Wars has always been pretty bright quite frankly. I also am quite glad that it is bright. I'm so tired of movies with muted colors artificially made through filters.

Thank goodness it's bright I say. This isn't one of the tepid comic book "gritty, real" movies we are being subjected to and will be for years to come - this is science fiction at its best.

It's exciting, vibrant, fun, inter-galactic and entertaining which is meant to dazzle the senses and make you feel like you are allowed to enjoy this attack of visual and audio escapism. It's nice to see everything rather than peer through darkness and shadowy locations etc.
